Akari took a momentary pause as all hell broke loose around her. Even the command room people were unable to keep their orders straight. “Hey, can you guys chill out a little? I don't think we need to go that far.” Slaying the GMGs was never their mission, to begin with. When even Utena was resorting to lethal force, it meant things went really downhill.

“I could do that but I guess that there's already someone on the case,” Akari replied to Utena right as a mysterious squad of fighters came out of nowhere, trying to disturb their own pilots. “But I can take care of this one. I think three on three is fair game after all,” The redhead said as she headed to the downed GMG.

While Akari headed for Yeshua, Seika had her attention divided between helping her ally—or maybe even friend—and trying to find a way to get Goomie out of here before this whole mess became even worse.

With a swipe of her hand, she produced a wave to break Yeshua's fall and said, “Maybe you should transform and go back yourself. I'll try to get her to listen once more but if we don't leave this conflict will only escalate more,” before leaving the wounded bird resting in a cold pool of water.

“Meanwhile you,” Seika said as she rode a wave, flooding the streets a and probably knocking Yuki out of course before she began to drill into Goomie's body, until she stopped in front of the other GMG, blocking her way. “I was trying to be a good sport before, but can't you see the chaos you caused? I doubt those people you've captured are happy now. If you don't want to leave with us, just let the humans go and turn back to where you came from. Just look at how many people are being hurt because of you.” Seika pointed to the chaotic battle ragging everywhere around them. If even this appeal to Goomie's sanity filed the only thing left would be to use force. Seika hoped she wouldn't have to go that far.

Before she was done though, the enormous mermaid girl turned the water into a thick, obscuring fog to cover their exit.

Whether Terrorkeet would have a chance to leave or not was a different matter. When Akari reached her and tried to restrain the flying GMG with capture cables in a way that wouldn't hurt her even more. “I don't wanna do this much more than you. But if you aren't going to stop, this is for the best,” she said as the fog began to roll over them.

Some people just couldn’t handle life in the big cities, the hustle and bustle of a packed metropolis was like being confined in a sardine can thrown in the middle of a blast zone to them. Nothing like the peace and quiet of the countryside.

Erika wasn’t one of them.

In fact, the blonde thrived at the thrills of the concrete jungle, living a life fueled by “unhealthy” food and wanton consumerism. Such a life didn’t come cheap, and even though it looked like she didn’t really need to work to sustain it, the chance of testing her skills against the beings of the beyond was too alluring.

And that alluring call was what brought her to the front door of TDS right at the same time as another diver who happened to own a pair of way too grabby hands. Hands that were about to go flying–along with the rest of his body–right into the clerk’s corner, zooming past a certain commotion involving an unlucky kid.

“If you are such a loser who can’t even get a girlfriend, go to the red light district next time you wanna cope a feel. But I guess that even they would say no to a slimeball like you,” Erika said as she fixed her skirt.

Maybe the life in the countryside wasn’t so bad after all. At least there were less perverts over there.

"Oh, so you are?" Clair said. She smiled at Itsuko after realizing that the other girl must be one of the Tower’s inhabitants instead of an outsider like her group.

Without another word, Clair stepped behind Itsuko and wrapped her hands around the fiery girl’s waist. "They say tigers like belly rubs. I wonder if that’s true," she said as she began to tickle the other girl’s stomach. To most people’s eyes, it would look like Clair was merely taking the chance to cope a feel, but a trained observer might be able to discern that she was looking for something. More specifically, any proof of Itsuko’s identity.

By the time the president spoke to them, Clair had already pulled back from Itsuko. She swooped a stack of papers and waved them around while reading their contents. "That’s a pretty neat deal you have here. I don’t know about my friends here, but I’m in. With one condition, of course."

"Can I have one of those school uniforms of yours?" she said, after a dramatic pause.

"I’ll remember that," Aria said after getting Caprice’s name. "Anyway, I’m beginning to run low on energy, I guess it’s time for my beauty sleep," she added, letting out a soft yawn and gradually vanishing until she turned back into a card on Clair’s pouch.

"Have you ever heard the saying: ‘The darkest place is under the candlestick’?" Iona said as she came back, bringing the tea. The grin in her face suggested she was taking quite a bit of pleasure in Rose and Kanbaru’s confusion.

"If you expected the President of a school for villains to not indulge in their own sins, perhaps it’s you who needs to rethink your opinions," she said after Rose spoke about their hypocrisy.

I hope there's still space for one more:

Upon verdict, Gil is allowed.

Basically, what Cu and me are trying to say: you can have OP characters but please tread carefully.

Oh, thanks.

I suppose that playing nice goes for everything, so it's ok. I'll get everything done when we move to the OOC or get more information like a CS template.

I feel like this argument is made in bad taste when talking about Gilgamesh specifically when we are talking about Servants. Most Servants are limited to a certain theme that keeps them balanced with the rest in some way. This compatibility keeps even the strongest Servants around the same balance as weaker Servants since they are limited around a certain theme. Many Servant fights are scored by compatibility, in this case.

Gilgamesh on the other hand is one of those outliers that can easily be abused due to his signature Noble Phantasm breaking that balance by having a Noble Phantasm that essentially breaks the rule of compatibility. Even though Gate of Babylon is stated to not have specific Noble Phantasms within its vault, there's still the fact that it has an answer to essentially everything else, and smarter players can easily play around his restrictions and win a Grail War with ease. In other words, compatibility is essentially thrown right out the door.

This is why Gilgamesh works well in normal written with his personality in mind, but terrible in works where writers aren't cooperating with each other, like in the case of a roleplay. There's also the fact that the main GM mentioned that the power has been scaled down slightly to "Cu-to-Artoria/tier"

First, you are judging people's writing before even seeing it. But most important than that, what part of a power level of around Arturia/Cu is considered a level of normally overpowered Servants? They are Top Servants for sure (which is the kind of Servant most people use in any Fate RPs anyway) but that doesn't make them overpowered. In fact, Arturia and Cu are really strong but balanced.

If this is the angle you two are shooting for now, you may as well rewrite the initial pitch of the RP to not give people false hopes.

I suppose I did word that wrong. By personal experience, I really mean I've actually written material involving Gilgamesh in the past, rather than had a bad experience with someone else roleplaying him.

That said, knowing exactly what he is capable of in a roleplay (including his personality in mind), I can't in good conscience allow him in a roleplay with multiple people involved having different stories to be told, and different approaches to those stories.

Forgive me, but the GM mentioned that he's looking for characters up to Gilgamesh's power level (not that I'm using him for power explicitly), which naturally includes Gilgamesh himself. You banning overpowered characters in a roleplay about overpowered characters makes the premise of this story very confusing to say the least.

Otherwise, say I pick Arjuna and still get banned because he too is too powerful (being just a sliver weaker than Gil) and so and so forth until we are down to the level of normal Servants again.

This smells kinda like false advertisement for me.
I'd personally want to avoid Gilgamesh due to past experiences with him, but I'll defer to @Anakin for the ultimate decision.

Well, I said I can pick something else if really needed to, but since Gil was name dropped as the kind of character this RP is looking for, I couldn't not mention him.

Sincerely, it's kind of bad taste to allow personal opinion get in the way of GMing, especially when it's the kind of opinion that goes like: "I had a bad time playing with someone who used a certain character in the past, therefore everyone who does the same character will be bad as well". Assuming the worst of people just because you had bad experiences in the past is a very rude thing.
