Current I'm sorry, but it's not a good enemies to lovers story unless they literally tried to kill each other (and almost succeeding) a hundred times, and then they can't imagine living without each other.

Bloodlines RP but it's only the Nosferatu sewer combat section for the entire RP.

Good reminder why I fucking hate the game sometimes.

APPARENTLY NECESSARY AUTHOR'S NOTE: It has to be inspired by the game, it has BLOODLINES in the title for a reason. Please please please don't offer anything besides the setting and the vibe of the game, that being the y2k big American city with that gothic/punk undertone. I am not a fan of anime character images, I don't like people telling me what kind of character I should play (suggestions are always welcome, but my character is my own, just like your character is your own, this is a ROLEPLAY) and like I said, I want to stick to this particular theme SPECIFICALLY.

I know I sound disgruntled, but the amount of times I got a message requesting a VtM roleplay that has literally nothing to do with my request had me quite disappointed.

I have been anticipating Bloodlines 2 game since its development was announced, and needless to say, it's a fucking dumpster fire and not only will I not buy the game, I will not even watch playthroughs of it. Not only did they create an abomination that lacks any personality, charm and edginess the original had, they proceeded to actually blame the players for having high expectations about the sequel, even trying to gaslight the fanbase about the original game not being as good as we think we remember.

So you're saying that the meme I shared is not true and that people who have dedicated over a DECADE of hard work modding tf out of it was for nothing? Lol, okay.

Regardless, I will be replaying the original game for like 373867th time and I'm looking for a like-minded individual and fan of the franchise to sink our teeth into the universe and enjoy the dark setting to our dark hearts' content.

I am honestly going to be open for discussion about overarching plot, I am more than happy to do a twist on the original storyline. I just want it to take place in real, modern day setting in one of the bigger hubs. As a 90s baby, I am very fond of the 2000s setting and fashion as that's the time of my child and teenhood, ESPECIALLY gothic punk fashion, which is basically the whole point of the franchise, so that's kind of my priority here.

While I'm flexible around the story, here's the stuff I'm not flexible about:
  • Your gender and identity won't affect my decision about roleplaying with you, I am just looking for male characters, while I play females.
  • You have to have knowledge and understanding of the universe and lore, preferably beyond what the game presents you, as I have been absorbing everything World of Darkness like a sponge, plenty of times I have been a DM, so I will not find it all too enjoyable to write with someone who is unfamiliar with the lore and setting.
  • I am looking for writers who can pull multiple paragraphs and descriptive content. I am very big on setting the scene, creating the atmosphere, so I like it when someone would put some effort in writing. I will share my writing sample in private messages,
  • Violence, sex, dark content, occult shit, unsavory actions, GIVE IT TO ME! VtM is all about the existential crisis, questions about one's nature, the grit, the grime, the absolute worst parts of humanity, UGH, it's so good. And this also makes it special when there's actual good in the world, which makes it stand out more.
  • Romance is more than welcome, always love exploring that elements.
  • I may be into all sorts of weird things, but I do love sharing images regarding the roleplay, and considering that this is a gothic punk universe, I will indulge in styling my character from time to time, because let me live and feel some joy in life, mmkay?
  • Keep it edgy. I don't mind it getting tastefully cheeky. It's y2k coded, after all <3
Oh and my love - did I mistake you for a sign of god?

I loathe dark romance books because of their lack of actual good content and characters with interesting depth as well as story, BUT GOD DO I LOVE DANGEROUS AND HOT MEN. And what do I mean by hot men? Nothing is certain, it's all about how they're presented regardless of their looks. So it's entirely up to you.

I said masks, you read that correctly. What kind of mask? Any really, I want an air of mystery about the person in question, does he inspire danger or enticement, is he a threat or something else? Is he a Ghostface psychopath or a Simon Riley Ghost vigilante? Or maybe something completely different. You picking up what I'm putting down?

As for the character that I would play? After playing all sorts of types, I really want to come back to some goth girl hotties. So if you like some goth baddies, you're at the right place.

Anyway, I am craving thrill, mystery, danger, dark shit and some really dark and messed up romance and I want it to consume the hell out of me. Also the nasty stuff that come with it, I am definitely looking for someone who is well above 18 years of age, enjoys some messy, spicy and dark content, thank you very much. But I prefer good story and characters before anything else. Write that down.

For this type of roleplay, I am feeling specifically two settings that I wanna play in: modern day (this is not a necessary setting, but I'm really feeling the university drama and chaos), post-apocalyptic and also cyberpunk. And also another setting I can't really categorize it except Arkham style, really. More on that later.

For the mentioned cyberpunk setting (no, I haven't played the game before anyone asks) I would definitely love to do a storyline that is based around a rebellion where our characters are a part of the rebellious organization against a corrupted system that is draining the already messed up eco-system and natural resources, but also a lot of people as a result live in poverty. My character can be one of the newest member after a large tragedy had occurred in the city where many lives have been lost and that has been the result of the governments neglect. As a result, my character had lost everything and joined the rebellion with nowhere to go and no one to lean on, while your character, a masked vigilante, is somewhat of a legend among his peers. Highly respected and revered. How we go on about it, is up for discussion!

Now for the modern part: I am a big fan of the cheeky 80s, 90s and y2k movies, LOVED Scream movie, I never really loved the college tropes and shit like that until recently. I now actually really love and enjoy the tropes and stereotypes in those stories. So I'd definitely love to do a story in that sort of vibe. Is this masked individual my character's friend who is her stalker, is there some kind of a twist to it, I'm open to ideas.

Maybe it can be something similar as the cyberpunk setting, just in modern and realistic time.

Post-apocalyptic is open ended. I believe there's many ways we can go about it, I haven't done anything post-apoc in a long time, so I'll have to do some warming up.

And now the Arkham styled setting, is that gothic vibe like in Batman, but I don't like the Superhero stuff, I just like the vibe and I loved the concept idea of how Harley and Joker started. I dig the idea of a female therapist dealing with a very dangerous man which leads to a very strange dynamic. However, I DON'T want to base it on Joker and Harley, I'm really over it. I just mentioned it because I like the therapist x dangerous patient idea.

Anyway, if this vibes with you, all you have to do is send me a DM!

question: does it have to be from one of the aforementioned tribes? I would have to do some digging to be more comfortable with either, but an generally familiar with the over-arcing lore. More personally familiar with a few others (Uktena, Striders, and some Get to name a few).

That depends on ideas and what those tribes have to offer. I included Silver Fangs and Shadow Lords because it's makes most sense in political scheme of things.
Standards for you and me:

  • 3rd person narrative
  • At least 200 to 500 words on average, 1k+ for setting the mood and introductions of the scenes/characters/other (I wrote posts that were long several google doc pages when I'm particularly inspired)
  • 3/3/3, no fluff, no fade to black, words worse than f-bombs being thrown around
  • Use of more characters
  • Use of realistic art or real life people references (no anime characters or simplistic drawings, I'm a very visual person)
  • Use of imagery and music for roleplay (optional for you)

ADDICTION: OOC

I seek a story to enrapture me and take me on a journey. I seek for a partner who will give me an emotional release through great story telling, exciting romances and perhaps even a little tragedy.

I am not someone who's interested in doing casual roleplays or seek just smutty stories. I like intimacy in the story as long as its called for. I am seeking partners who will give me the pleasure of experiencing something special while writing with them.

My writing is multi-paragraph to novella when it comes to length, but the quality is juicy. I have keen eye for details and never waste the space any space when I write you a post, so you will never waste your precious time and eyesight by reading through my responses. My writings have always been riddled with character development and they drip with complexities and personality

My posting frequency can vary, sometimes I can post multiple times a week, other times only once, and there may be weeks when I can't make it. Either way, we'll keep in touch. I am not pushy with posts and I am very patient. I prefer waiting a week to get a great post rather than doing rapid fire posts and getting nothing of value.

As for my partner, I seek someone who shares similar values that I have stated above. Nothing more, nothing less.

For this plot, I am seeking specifically people who are familiar with Vampire the Masquerade and Werewolf the Apocalypse lore.

SETTING AND THEMES

Modern day Los Angeles. The land of hedonism, opportunities and corruption. Vampires have majority of the control of what is happening in the city, the werewolves in the meantime are fairly underground and in the surrounding areas of the city as they're planning to hit the kindred and your character is in the center of it all. Intrigue, neon lights, many events, all sprinkled with various political tensions. Los Angeles is the most versatile location for this kind of setting.

The theme is hesitant fascination between a vampire and a werewolf. The werewolf is more fueled with understandable hatred towards my kindred, but she is this unexplained creature that he may see more as a victim of the vampiric curse rather than a monster. And my vampire, as a Toreador, has this fixated fascination with your character and his nature. It's a story of forbidden romance, dreamy fascination, hesitation, you may consider this kind of romance being like an "edging slowburn", it can be enemies to lovers type of deal but fueled less with violence and with something entirely different. I want this to have the similar romantic vibe as the Dracula, this otherworldly, dreamy and obsessed vibe.

In some strange ways they see each other as individuals who have something that they don't. It's like finding a puzzle piece that fills that part that lacks. It's intoxicating, but forbidden. They are supposed to be enemies, yet here they are - unable to look away, yet terrified to get closer, because they know exactly what will happen.

PLOT AND CHARACTERS

Your character comes from a tribe of the Garou Nation (Shadow Lords or Silver Fangs) and there's a bigger plot behind the elders of wanting to make YC a prominent figure of the Tribe (be it a House in the Silver Fangs or a Camp of the Shadow Lords) however unbeknownst to YC, there are some dark practices or secrets surrounding him and he's being used as a pawn for some plans. I have no clue what it may be, but I'll let you, the player, figure out the deeper details surrounding your character.

I think it would be a great idea to have YC burdened by his role in the Garou Nation. He is still learning a lot about what the elders are planning for him and he has yet to be exposed to the world outside of the Garou perspective. He had encountered Kindred before, killed a few and hunted them down, seeing them as nothing but corrupted pawns of the Wyrm that need to be exterminated for the betterment of Gaia. Until he comes across my character, a Toreador actress that he had seen on Hollywood billboard or even in the media, learning that Hollywood's darling is actually a Kindred and a clan of beauty and art obsessed manipulators, of shallow and selfish nature. But he would soon be enraptured by her very being and her Toreador nature would be fixated with this strange creature that prowled into the territory. The Kindred are working to take down the Garou forces that are lurking into their territory and Rosalie, MC, is one of the agents to use her "diplomatic" skills in order to buy them time. What Prince doesn't know is that Rosalie may not end up working really in the favor of the Camarilla like she always has.

My character: Rosalie Chapelle. In the Camarilla court, she is a Harpy (a trend setter in short) and often is by the side of the LA Prince. She is also a theater actress who recently broke into fame, becoming a beloved face and presence for the time being. Camarilla uses Rosalie's fame as a way to preserve the Masquerade through distraction, as there have been a lot of risks of breaching it. There is no better Kindred to have the human's attention besides the beautiful Toreador who enraptures the masses with beauty and talent. While her role in the Kindred society is mainly political, Rosalie herself is not politically motivated. She is not a Kindred who actively seeks out power or anything of kind, instead she is often lamenting over how trapped she is in her fate. How unhappy and bored she is with this life. She grieves over the humanity she had lost. She is fairly masochistic in nearly every sense, yet her own desperation can drive her to do horrible things. Despite her melodramatic flair, Rosalie can be incredibly cruel towards things and people she does not value.

But the rest of the Kindred find Rosalie to be uncannily in touch with her humanity, considering how warm and pleasant she is. Plenty of vampires know that this kind of Toreador is fairly dangerous and one must be wary around them. And they would be correct to have their doubts, even though sometimes it's hard to resist to dip into the lake that was way deeper than it seemed - that lake being Rosalie.

I do like the idea of our characters feeling trapped in their roles and their lives and they always yearned for some form of escape. And the first time they truly get to do that is when they get their guard down with each other and get away from their oppressive roles and let themselves be who they are when they're alone and away from the prying eyes.
