If you can read that. Then as long as I have time. I'm happy to Roleplay with you. I'm okay with my French, but don't expect a Masters Thesis level of French from me.

I'm also cool with Roleplaying in English though!

The help from Shina came at a very opportune time. Yoshina felt like she was about to be completely subsumed by the tree in minutes, but the rapid slashes from the Firetail managed to get the vines completely out of her body, grabbing her Naginata, she quickly make short work from the tree that, just a couple minutes ago, tried smothering her inside of it.

"Die!"

The multiple slashes from her Sangakuan polearm managed to fully down the tree. Bursts of sap and splintering wood follow her wake as she finally regrouped with the party. "Sorry, I was taken by surprise back there, did anything happen?"

Sure enough, her questions was quickly answered. As one of the Elves shouted something Yoshina could barely decipher, she knew that following the Elves would probably mean incarceration for all of them, potentially execution if they're not careful. The Sangakuan has had enough time being incarcerated throughout her journeys. No more spending time in Oubliettes and Pillories, humiliated in public or potentially even worse. Screw that!

"I recommend that we move as fast as possible, if we don't want to get captured by the Elves, we have to move and move deliberately. Taarah, can you get a view from the sky of where we should go? I'd rather not stick around and potentially kill even more lives today."
Thanks everyone!

Will prepare a Discord by like, the end of this week in the latest.

There is an accident, brace yourselves!!

That was the last words you heard before the FTL drives malfunctioned and your explorator veered itself off of Faster than Light. It's course set on crashing a (fortunately) habitable world. Maneuvering thrusters are worthless in stabilizing the ship's orbit, either too damaged from the sudden stop from FTL, or it's fuelpipes bursted, making whatever thruster that still works worthless, with impact all but certain, the Explorator's captain ordered bracing positions as the ship's hull started glowing from atmospheric friction, only god knows where you will land.

You can only hope it doesn't land on water.

Did you hear that?

That was the sound that everyone, be they human, halfling, elf, orc, dwarf, and whatever lies in between heard when, and sunny… thing suddenly entered the world of Friestan, from the mages of the great tower to the kings and queens of the various kingdoms that dot Friestan’s three continents. Everyone saw how the meteor arrived, with the common folk across all countries predicting the end of the world, but everyone also heard it’s distinctive noise, a bright cackle of various sounds not typical of a meteor.

From the shadowlands where the dark king reigns, to the bright and gleaming kingdoms of the Central plains, everyone is now interested in this incoming meteor. It is much to their misfortune however, when their mages informed them that this meteor crash landed in the High and Frozen wilderness of the Dragonspine mountain chain.

A land infamous for it’s dragons, creatures much feared for it’s mastery of magic, their might, and their vast intellect. But also for it’s tall, freezing peaks, an area of this world only a few have traversed, and even fewer still survive.

Anyone interested in that meteor would need heroes, adventurers. People with the will, the resources, and the grit to traverse through these mountains and figure out what lies in the depths of the Dragonspine.

Welcome to the Friestan Incident, a Roleplaying game that allows you to play as either a character from a crashed spaceship. Stranded from home, and with no recourse for the time being.

Or as a potential adventurer sent by a Kingdom, Organisation, or some other faction in the world of Friestan, a world brimming with magic, kingdoms, mystery, history, and a dark lord hellbent on subjugating everything to his will.

Magic meets high technology, cultures clash, and people will realize that not everything in this world is as it seems, with massive implications on both the Technologically advanced human civilization, and the people living in Friestan itself.

The call from the office came quick. A sudden surge of Eldritch energy was more than enough for Madeleine to be alerted. Nobody in the building was standing still the moment it happened, the receptionist was busy calling the Office's supervisor on what to do, field agents were quickly gearing up, and she herself quickly took a car and rode towards the building site. The Director herself has made it plain and clear that any sudden surge of Eldritch Energy must be priority No. 1 for the nearest OMR office, since the presence of Eldritch Cults throughout the globe was, rather worryingly, increasing in recent years.

Madeleine worries where Amanda and the group might be, sure, the average mage can deal with some medium burst of Eldritch energy, but if someone with Faye blood gets near it...

Considering that miss Hayward was among the group of investigators, she seriously worries that the Android might be in bigger trouble than she might understand.

The car just arrived into the battle scene just as Morgana passed out, and she sees Amanda currently handcuffing what looks to be a Satudarah Biker mage, cheerfully waving at her the moment she sees her presence.

"Hey! Just in time! I know that reinforcements from the office might come sooner or later, but I'm so glad that it was you Madeleine. Can you please put this guy in the back or something?"

"Uhh, sure. Just let me prepare the car for a sec." The demoness replied, setting up the various restraints already provided in the vehicle just for such an event. Don't let anybody tell you OMR vehicles are under-equipped.

With the guy eventually secured though. And as even more vehicles and agents came around and started properly investigating the two houses, de-facto relieving the current group. Madeleine asked Amanda the one lingering question present in her mind, the one thing she's sure Amanda would probably answer, but fearful in how she will answer it.

"Tell me something Amanda, did Faye uhhh... went berserk? The sudden appearance of the Eldritch Artifact and what appears to be the transformation of that biker into an Eldritch fusion seems to be very detrimental for Faye's overall health, right?"

"Well, you're in luck. Morgana over there." The android pointed at the doctor, being tended by several OMR paramedics "managed to do some thingamajig spell that channeled all the surrounding Eldritch energy from her, at least from what I gathered, it kept the girl's internal mana chemistry from going haywire or something, you might wanna ask her about it."

As agents started pouring in en masse towards the two houses, disabling traps and apparently bringing a ridiculous amounts of evidence by the bucketloads, the demonic woman approached Faye, her face concerned and her hands already preparing a bunch of spells set to stabilize her mana flow. "Child, are you alright? Do you need some help from me to stabilize your mana flow? I have centuries of experience with such things."

Perhaps the greatest news to come out of Morgana's mouth was her request to handle the beast for 1 or two minutes. Not necessarily a great expense for Amanda to work on, and considering the state of the beast, an easy enough thing to handle. Amanda can kinda reason that Morgana was probably conjuring up some spell to capture or kill the former human, and with a captive on hand. That opens up the possibility of an interrogation, probably making the case even closer to completion.

All of that makes a very happy Amanda, and she eagerly took to the task at hand. Now fighting hand to hand with the Mage, a spell from the mage, it's contents a vile concoction of eldritch energy and other despicable magicks from the Abomination, either avoided by the Android or deflected by her. Any ground that was hit by the ball of Eldritch Energy instantly turns the grass and the ground around a 5 meter radius dead, and Amanda's lack of magical affinity playing to her advantage, as any potential life sapping energy from the magical orbs was shrugged off by the Android as if they were nothing.

Amanda is counting her lucky stars right now. She is sure that someday her luck will run out.

Even with all the advantages she possesses over the monstrosity, and even with his weakened state. Her internal processors are screaming at her, and any vents throughout her body is venting out excess heat from the sheer processing necessities her body is doing right now.

The female android does look pretty steamy throughout the fight.

Her internal clock has also counted 1 minute.

"Hey Morgana!" Amanda shouted, barely avoiding a direct punch to her face. But not anticipating the second jab that hit her stomach square. As error messages popped out inside her eye, and as she struggled to get back up, her hair was grabbed at and her face was looking at the Abomination's. "You might wanna do something now!!!"
GOD!

I'm such a dumb dumb.

Sorry for littering the OOC thread, didn't even notice that there was an interest check thread.

Umm, I guess this might be a tad too late, but do you still have any openings? I really, really like the setting, and I don't wanna let that CS of mine go to waste.

The journey through the forest was already making Yoshina regret her decision to wear the maid outfit. Her standard getup would easily make her comfortable enough to trudge into the thick foliage. But the unnecessary frills and thick coating of the maid uniform was not making the journey for the Sangakuan Princess easy.

At all.

"Gods, I knew I should've went with the more practical outfit." She muttered in her native language, mentally beating herself for valuing the quick response from her to the journey rather than bothering to change outfits and make them wait a lil bit more.

She has seen the little bit of conversation between Thaddeus and the group, and him vanishing into the forest. There were some sounds coming from the forest the moment he vanished, but nonetheless. The group decided to go inside, and the Princess, while very nervous, still decided to continue.

"I have went through battles with tens of thousands of men, seen the horrors of war and uncountable atrocities, and yet I'm still afraid of a dark forest. Just what is-"

Her inner monologue was cut short when she noticed something grab into her ankle. She looked down, and saw a vine, a shiver ran down her spine, a part of her telling Yoshina that she's in great danger. Then she heard the Firetail's call for help.

'HELP! Someone chop this piece of fire wood off me!!'

Seemingly out of nowhere, vines shot out from the darkness, quickly gagging the Sangakuan Princess, grabbing both her arms, and dragged the Red Haired woman deep into the woods, the Princess screamed for help, her heart rate rapidly quickening and her eyes widening and scanning the treeline for anything she could put her hands to hold on to. Please please please find something Yoshina The Princess talked to herself as she tried moving her hand to grab a branch.

Much to her distress, even her well muscled arms are still no match for the grabbing power of the vines, eventually dragging her into a tree where they originated and slowly entombing her into it. Yoshina is not sure what this tree has planned for her, but she didn't stop her incessant struggling. She NEEDS to get out of here, best case scenario, she will be connected into the tree itself, becoming a dryad, worst case scenario though?

Either way, she has no desire to turn into a dryad when she's already a wood elf for the moment. Her muffled scream didn't reach the distance needed to alert the group, who were already occupied with their own issues among the hostile trees. At least the tree hasn't choked her... yet.

But then the vines seemed to recoil, Yoshina could barely see Shina doing something. But the sudden recoil was not enough for the Sangakuan Princess to do much of anything.

Including a sudden series of soft vines prodding her backside, it seems like the tree really wanted her to merge with it.

Oh gods no!

"HMMMM!!!! HMMMMM!!!" The Princess shouted as strong as she could, faintly hoping anyone in the group would notice the missing Princess.

This constant log of combat subroutines and analyses was present on the edge of Amanda's vision as she duked it out with the Abominable thing that was formerly a biker mage. It may look like that the battle was evenly matched, but Amanda was already seeing that she alone could not take down the monster, his movements are getting quicker and quicker, and the pressure on her servomotors becoming more and more intense.

She predicts that, should the fight last more than 15 minutes, her chances of victory will be reduced to less than 30%, it's currently 65%.

Crap, this is not good she thought, barely dodging a particularly hard punch, her robotic eyes can see the air currents rippling at the aftereffects of that punch. She know that she would not want to be on the receiving end of that punch.

And the situation didn't seem particularly promising from her admittedly limited perspective either, Faye was panicking, seemingly an almost natural reaction to the sheer presence of the Eldritch Abomination in front of her, Micheal was chanting some stuff that was slashing the abomination with wind forces and snow, making sure to make herself move a bit far away in order to make the Shaman do the dirty work, making a dent, but not by much.

But what she didn't expect though, was the reaction from Scarlet. A 50 cal reaching for the abomination's head... now that could be a killing blow if there ever was one. The bullet impacted the thing's head, breaking off the carapacelike armor and revealing the human face underneath it, and while the thing was a bit disoriented. Amanda let go of her axe, and made a jump, before aiming her right fist squarely for the head.

And gods be in her favour, it landed square.

She can visibly see the eldritch energy leaking out of the thing. Good, at least she was making progress, and it seems that the head is where most of the mana reserves are being stored. Visibly weakened, seriously pissed, but possessing nowhere near enough strength to eke out the same performance in the last 5 minutes of intense fighting.

Honestly it felt more like 5 hours from Amanda's perspective.

"Ah... Good job Scarlet!" She responded towards the Homonculi. Giving her a thumbs up "Can you pepper him some more? I think that we got this one in the bag. Don't constantly aim for his head though, I think that we can capture and interrogate him or something."

I hope I get accepted. I'm very interested in the setting!

EDIT: Frick, ignore my post. Sorry I didn't notice the full tag in the thread.

Amanda was pretty happy with the pace of the battle. She has seen more gruesome battles in her life, and this one, by the looks of it, is going to be a favourable engagement for her team. She was busy hacking and slashing to notice the sudden development from Faye's attack, finishing off 2 more bikers that were foolish enough to close in onto her after what she did with that one guy that's close to her.

She guesses that being a robot naturally attracts attention whenever she goes.

She was busy hacking and slashing that she didn't realize the impending threat that Faye has just created. She did see Xaviron's spell attempt though, and, with some predictive algorithms and internal stabilizers, managed to handle the shaking ground pretty well. Knocking out or killing any bikers that sunk into the ground or are disoriented with Xaviron's spell.

All the while. Her olfactory receptors were suddenly sensing a smell of charcoal and brimstone in the air, she's not sure, but is it possible for someone to have that inside his magical repertoire? She's heard about the case files from the North America branch, if there is a visible sense of charcoal and brimstone, and then a bright fire shooting up in the air...

Her focused senses suddenly cut off when a bright fire shot up into the air. Confirming Amanda's suspicions. "Ohhhh crap, this looks real bad." She muttered.

While the mage that was hurt by Faye. Now very much pissed, took a long stare, his bloodied face and body now visibly angry at all of them. "Fuck it! I'm doing this guys!!" He screamed, and promptly unfurled a knife from his pocket, took a stab at his left palm, and screamed in pain.

Amanda was no stranger to humans and other sentient beings screaming, but this type of agony feels different. She saw the knife for a moment before an eerie golden glow covered the entirety of the Mage Bikers' body. She knew that that knife is an artifact from a cultist sect that followed the eldritch abomination, the unnatural design of the blade and her sensors screaming in her face of the potential danger of the object is made clear, but she didn't know just what would happen should someone did a magical ritual using that knife.

And as the golden glow dissipated. The only thing she managed to briefly recognize was a mass of tentacular tendrils, black, gooey, emanating huge amounts of mana, before she was then promptly punched by it and flew straight into the house. Exploding a bunch of unknown, and more importantly, un-defused mines.

The remaining bikers fanned out and started to leave. All of them seemingly afraid at what the mage has become, and all of them chanting their goodbyes to the mage, and as Amanda walked out of the wreckage, her clothes a bit worse for wear but her physical body seemingly not suffering a single injury. She issued a declaration to her team.

"Guys and Gals, that right there." She pointed at the Mage, now seemingly looking at the rest of the OMR team. "Is an Eldritch Abomination artifact, used by the biker somehow to transform himself into that... thing. Don't engage it close-range, use your guns and whatever else you have to strike it at long range. I'll try to distract it while you pepper him with shots. Try to aim for the head, it seems like that's it's most vulnerable part for now."

Amanda promptly summoned her axe again, and walked towards the Biker mage, his clothes gone, entire body covered in black leathery snake skin, his face only an inky black void with two lights, and a mass of tendrils emanating from his back. "Alright then Mage. You wanna dance with me?"

"With all pleasure." He responded, his voice distorted and seemingly emanating from nowhere, before a tendril shot at Amanda and she deflected it, using her axe. She promptly tried slamming the gigantic metallic weapon into his torso, but that was promptly blocked by a tendril from the Mage turned abomination. This fight seemed to last forever, with both Amanda and the Mage no worse for wear.

Only time will tell if Amanda, or the mage, will win.
