Thanks for the interest.

I added a link to the OOC above. If I can, I'll get the IC started today so that you can begin posting whenever you are ready.

Seven Children of all manner of diferente ages and backstories suddenly find that they were transported to a world known as Eden and given strange powers. Will they be able to find a way back home while trying to survive against the sinister Shadows and catering to the whims of the mysterious being self entitled the Game Master?

O V E R V I E W
Without any explanation as to why and how, a group of children of any age between ten and seventeen found themselves waking up on the floor of what a derelict classroom, partially overgrown by vegetation. A mysterious being, who manifests only in the form of a cute little critter, calling itself the Game Master was there to greet them and tell that they were chosen to take part in a survival game (with the fate of the whole world at stake) on a world known as Eden (which looks suspiciously like post-apocalyptic Tokyo where nature took back what men stole, in spades).

The objective of the game? Take down the mysterious Shadows while gathering the clues set by the Game Master as their only hope to get back home. To help with this task, each child was given ESP powers, but little to no instruction about how to use them. If this will be enough for the task and what other mysteries would be unfolded was yet to be seen.

R U L E S
The rule 0 of RPGs.

Standard RPing etiquette. Don't be a jerk, follow the Guild's and the GM's rules, no god-modding, etc... All of you know the drill, let's just follow it, please.

Wait at least a couple people before you post again on the IC so that this doesn't become a fast posting game. This is rule subject to change depending on the story needs.

Keep your post within a reasonable length and quality. At least a paragraph of decent that advances the story in some way, but no more than three or four, unless you really have something meaningful to add.

Only one character per player.

Death is a real possibility, but not a certainty, on this story. Be mindful of it when making choices because they may have consequences harmful to either you or the other PCs.

Use your common sense.

The Golden rule of RPGs.

C H A R A C T E R S H E E T
Name: What's your name? You can include nicknames and titles/other aliases as well.
Age: What's your age? Must be between 10 and 17 years old.
Height: What's your height?
Weight: What's your weight?

Appearance: How do you look? A picture, description or both are good. Anime style pictures only, please, if you choose to use them.

Power: What is your character's power? Only one per character, please. Try to be creative but do not go overboard. The power limit is of moderate ESP abilities, like short-range teleportation or, car flipping psychokinesis.

Intro Post: This is technically your intro to the story, write about what your character was doing before being transported to Eden. You don't need to describe a whole day of life or so, just the most important/defining moments, until your character suddenly blacks out. The RP will begin with them waking up, so don't add this part to the intro, please. Keep this at a two paragraphs (around 1000 characters) maximum, please.

Other: Optional. Anything not described above, trivia and small facts about your character, theme songs, etc.
Yes, there are seven slots for players and four people (counting you) interested up to now.

Ignore this.
One of the first to arrive on the following day would be Aya, who was partially roped into the mystery involving the misadventures at the City of Mirrors when she was caught while spying yesterday. Surely the only reason that happened was because Aya let her guard low, thanks to some sort of barrier making it hard to distinguish what was happening inside the room they were having their 'briefing'.

Well, it didn't matter anymore, now. After hearing everything it became clear that Aya would be a good addition to the forming party.

The first thing Aya did after, arriving not very much after Ren, was look out for Izawa, the priest from yesterday. She had a couple of questions she wanted to do before going to this other word. She found him talking to the boy who first noticed her presence yesterday and waited before they finished their exchange to come in and say, "I have a question I'd like to ask, Priest Shinohara. It's about the purification, or antidote, pills. Is there any chance to use them to 'heal' the youkai we find on the other side? Oh," Aya chirped as if remembering something important she forgot to say. "My grandparents sent their regards to your temple's god. They said they couldn't bring any suitable gifts yesterday, because of how crowded the place was, so... here's some of our best sake."

After handing the old porcelain bottle to the priest, Aya proceeded inside, taking a look at the building's layout for the first time. "Hi," she said casually to the only other person over there, that being Ren, before she continued to look around.

We could have something involving tsukumogami, at least a few light hearted ones. I'm especially looking forward to see quirky spirits like karakasa show up. Double that of we can get the umbrella as a reward for taking care of it.
"Huh, what was that?" Even though she was using phones, Aya still had a perfect awareness of the world around her, including a lot of voices suddenly coming from the spot at the back of temple where she chose to play her games in peace.

Thinking that she could try to overheard what the conversation that seemed to be taking place at the moment, Aya scuttled close to the door, remaining as silent as the very shadows as she pressed an ear against the door. Such an activity was only natural for a tengu such as Aya after all her race is credited for being the creators of Ninjutsu, unparalleled masters of the sword and stealth. If a tengu decided to spy on you, it was as if the darkness suddenly got ears and eyes. You would never find it until your secrets had been leaked.

And so, Aya kept recording everything, wondering what was all that talk about a city of mirrors, a disease and other youkai rampaging upon the world. Certainly, this information was worth knowing, right?
I'll take a look tomorrow and see if there's any new hook for Aya to interact with. If so, I shall post sometime up to this weekend.

Name: Lydia

Age: Unknown, she looks like a girl in her late teens/early twenties, but is likely older than this, given her heritage.

Gender: Female

Race: Half-Elf

Height: 157 cm

Weight: 46 kg

Hair Color: Honey Blonde

Eye Color: Brownish Red

Appearance: Lydia is by a bewitching young woman, by any definition of those terms one might think. She does have an average build, taller than your "typical" elf, yet shorter than the usual human, with a fair complexion, slightly tanned by long hours of exposition to the sun, medium length, somewhat unkempt, bright blonde hair which would certainly look gorgeous is she were to pay a bit more of attention to her feminine charms. Nevertheless, the feature which draws more attention at first sight are her eyes, not only for their color, resembling rich red clay but also for their seeming lack of any sort of emotion, which portray very well what the weight of a life of loneliness can do to one's soul.

When it comes to dressing, Lydia is nothing short of utilitarian. Yet, one cannot negate that the short, knee-lentgh, sleeveless "armored dress", composed of a mithril chainmail and dark, golden-trimmed leather, that she wears under her elven cloak nearly at all times, along with a matching set of greaves, gauntlets and thigh-high stockings, does wonders to frame her femininity. Long ago, Lydia would have preferred to wear field armor, but heavy equipment interferes with the practice of her craft, thus she got used to this equipment, which is of much better quality than even most knights can ever hope to afford, given its elven origins. Even then, she secretly thanks her mantle for hiding these features which tend to make people look her down as both a woman and a half-breed.

Abilities: Being a powerful battle-sorceress, or war witch, Lydia is privy to many secrets and mysteries of magic that few others are even able to imagine that exist. Being a keeper of the elven arts, she's also a capable warrior whose skill with her weapon of choice is nothing short of legendary.

Equipment:

Fragarach— a collapsible, silvery spear, which compels any who are held to its tip to say naught but the truth.

A utilitarian dagger, which she keeps concealed at all times. A former mercenary knows better than to ever go unarmed, after all.

An elven cloak, perfect to travel in any weather as well as conceal oneself in all manner of forest and woodlands.

An Imperial badge and signet, usually kept hidden since it would betray her identity on spot.

A very light chainmail vest, woven by elven craftsmen with the legendary metal mithril. It's many times stronger than steel, yet being as little cumbersome as any other piece of mundane garment.

Personality: Lydia is a quiet person, speaking little and on short sentences, preferring to be left alone when there's no business to be handled. She usually doesn't think that much of herself as a woman, preferring to focus on the other aspects that make her being. She has been a tool to others for most of her life, there's no point in ever wishing for any other lifestyle, especially when her current position came with so much latitude as long as she got her job done.

History: An orphan, born of the violation of her elven mother by a human mercenary, Lydia was always raised with indifference on the isolated community her mother used to live in. At best she was tolerated and, at worst, outright abused both physically and verbally. Had not her adaptability and aptitude for both the sword and the staff shown itself from an early age, the likelihood of Lydia starving to death would be high. Yet, she survived and thrived, joining the same mercenary band that once housed her father and pursuing a life of battle that would eventually get her to the position of Imperial Battle Mage.

Other:

— Her only known pastimes are reading and training either her martial or arcane skills, she'll default to one of these automatically, when she has nothing to do.

— Thanks to being of elven heritage, Lydia has a few physiological advantages when compared to a normal human, even if they can't really catch up to the might of a pureblooded elf. Among these are the fact that she needs much less sleep and food, has sharper senses and the ability to see as well during the night as she would during the day as long as there's at least a minimal source of light.

— After spending her whole life running away from her cursed heritage and gender, lest she suffers the same fate of her mother, Lydia has no idea of how to react if someone were to properly treat her as a woman. Such a concept is completely alien to her.
