With the script firmly in his hands, he stared blankly at the cover art he'd doodled. Wondering about the potential grammar mistakes he'd made. But instead of flipping through the pages curiously, he pulled the tablet to his chest and held it as if it was a stuffed animal. He'd finally realized that the majority of the people on stage weren't just a figment of his imagination and had become entirely embarrassed by his current state of existence. His drab unkempt sense of physical self.

Some may or may not be more fabulous than others, but gentlemen's three piece suits, parkour, MMA, guns, and kickassery are almost always involved. I am in fact... Kenough. I'm looking for character building, world building, and friendly ooc chatter. I consider myself casually advanced. In other words, you will get something in return, but of equal value. I am always opened to brainstorming and here's some notable interests:
I prefer low fantasy. I'm not big on superhumans, mythical beings, or superheroes, but it depends entirely on the story and your ability to ground the characters. I HATE anime/manga based rp. However, I don't hate anime/manga. Notable anime I like... pffffffft ! You're just gonna have to ask! I just prefer my stories to be more realistic. You like anime/manga rp? That's fantastic! You be you, boo! I'm also not big on using anime art as my cs images, but I don't mind if you do.
Using colored text for, "Speech." In your post, burns my eyeballs. I should be able to tell who the fuck is talking without color coded messages. Limited color emphasis is my friend! I'm not really all concerned if you do this, just don't expect me to do it as well.
Romance between our characters; I'm okay with sweet nothings between your characters for development, but our characters should remain platonic. Anything beyond a hug or kiss between characters should be time faded. When I do add fluff for character development, it's normally MxM or somewhere on the LGBTQIAA+ spectrum. The only time I've ever done MxF, the characters were divorced. I am not here to write smut or ERPs, so please DO. NOT. ASK.
In Real Life is ALWAYS the most important. But a "Well, shit!" would still be greatly appreciated if you want to go on hiatus or leave. I will do the same.
Looks can be deceiving. I'm 36. Knowing this, I prefer that you're at least 21+ for any harder themed stories. Gore, Murder etc. And any harder themed stories should always remain in PM. Otherwise, I don't mind playing out stories with you, if you're only 18+.

A willingness to communicate with me in ooc is a must. I promise I don't bite, unless provoked. I expect you to be able to share the process of world building and character development. This game we're playing, is a team effort. If I wanted to write a novel, I would go do so. If you're having a hard time coming up with ideas, I don't mind pitter-pattering back and forth to help get ideas going. And I hope you'll be willing to do the same for me.
I also expect you to form paragraphs. Giant block walls of unspaced text are hard for me to read. But as far as how many paragraphs are concerned, I prefer substance over prose. So if your post is short, that's fine as novellas aren't required. Just be sure to give me something to respond to, not just read. Though, I do enjoy a good novella!
And while I'm not terribly concerned about grammar necessarily, I do expect to see effort. English is my native language, but I'm totally willing to play with non native English players. I will not bite your head off for silly quibbles like misplaced commas or the occasional misspelled word. I try to remember that not all of my potential partners are as advanced as I am, but I do expect effort and communication.

My very first memorable original character has morphed nicely over the years. His name's Nick. I know, unoriginal... but he's a boring human! He's lived rent free in my head for 25 years. Myspace didn't even exist yet. Aol chat rooms were prominent at the time, if you had access to a computer with dial up. And then again, I would have been much too young to use them at the time.
Nick's a hotheaded gunslinger, an enthusiastic survivalist, an archeologist who absolutely hates mummies, but most importantly? He's a perpetual adventurer... A male counterpart that I originally used when dealing with Tomb Raider puzzles. I'd get frustrated with Lara's shenanigans after awhile. So I'd go take a break from the game, only to still be running around that level in my headspace a short time later. Lara always felt too perfect to me and I'm FTM. So, I'm assuming this is why I ended up with my favorite little snot of a guy.
Indiana Jones did inspire him, as well as a few others. Nathan Drake didn't exist yet, but Gex and James Bond certainly did! Over the years, other inspiration has absolutely been pulled from for not only Nick, but the world he lives in. John Wick, Milla Jovovich, and honestly too many others to list. He's not necessarily the greatest or most original character I've ever made, but he sure as hell is my favorite.
Thankfully, there are roleplayers here who don't mind if you work a premade oc into a story. This has allowed me to further character build for him in an rp setting, and I'm loving it! And of course, if you're curious to read about his adventures further, Dark Beyond: Voices of the Past. Action adventure ftw! And to keep myself from rambling endlessly, I'll stop now. p:

In Possession of: Currently being produced by the Smithsonian. Nick has a pair.
Description: It's a supercharged Glock. With a push of a button, hidden above the normal trigger, normal bullets become charged with CDE particles. CDE bullets are self rechargeable. The kick back is stronger than the normal version and may take some getting used to by the holder.
Ability: CDE bullets are 20x stronger than regular bullets, in regards to what they can permeate.

In Possession of: A single prototype is held by The Louvre (Thierry), but there are more than likely others amongst Cairo agents who were around during the initial trial phase.
Description: An Egyptian CDE plasma prototype. They're typically based on a paradox gun. It was designed to aide in killing the undead hoard. Particularly the mummies that CDE portals were reanimating. The weapon charges up by sucking the CDE light source out of the air around it.
Ability: Able to fire shots of missile-like CDE bullets. Guided missiles, as well as a regular beam of energy. Multiple missiles can be fired at once, with a cool down before being able to shoot a single beam of CDE.
Due to the nature in which it was designed, it can grant the user limited hovering ability for up to 10 minutes at a time. Flight is cut short, upon firing the single beam. Recharging can be slow, which is why the prototype was abandoned after the initial testing phase in Giza 10 years ago.
When in hover mode, purple florescent wings shine behind the wielder. This feature was added to help the wielder be able to see their targets without use of night vision, augmentations, or bulky flash lights.... or as Ramses put it, "...because it looked cool."
Regarding the one Thierry is in control of; The wielder is at risk for electrical shock or full vaporization, if used incorrectly. It has a short fuse.
