Bio

Not born in a log cabin, I came into the RPing venture around 2009 and quickly joined about twenty roleplays more than I should have at the time. I've been around the internet in that time span, participated in and run RPs on multiple forums, and brushed shoulders with a wide variety of players and characters. Getting to work with new people has always been part of the allure of the experience.

My interests in RPing are pretty diverse, and not genre-specific; if there's room at the table and I can think of a dish to serve, I'll cook something up for just about any meal. If you know what I mean.

Oh hey! We're doing the thing!
Is it too late of yet to jump back into the fold here? Life should be getting somewhat more stable for me in the coming week.
@Waywardinteract. It's not that hard. Follow the werewolf. Ask questions.

Thing is, I DID interact in my last post, and was not given a reply. I've already stated: If Michael is being regarded as team leader, he should be written as delegating tasks to the other team members. Otherwise, maybe place Griffin into that position. We're at a point in the RP where you, or someone that you've given IC authority to, needs to make the push to move things forward. Another post from me isn't going to create any momentum unless I step on yours (and edd's) shoulders and have Talia start calling the shots.
Being that Talia has yet to be given any orders...

I actually posted quite recently, and got no response directed towards my character. People are probably not sure what exactly to do with their characters just yet.
All I'm advocating is that Eviledd take the time IC to have Michael delegate the team to accomplish their goal. I think that activity is stagnant largely for the fact that no one is really having their character take charge; everyone's looking for a more absolute directive to come from somewhere.

I'm just suggesting two groups to start with since we can use that as a means to brush off the character whose players have dropped while still acknowledging the [characters'] presences; it also lets us integrate their departure into the completion of the mission, which can help expedite the process a bit, so the RP can really take off. I'm sure that no one wants to spend five months on the tutorial, if you will.
How long will I have to produce a warrior worthy of competing?
Dare I?
If Michael is in fact the one in charge right now, perhaps you should have him delegate the team into task groups to seek out the items that they need? Any character whose player has left/dropped can be assigned into their own group, get their item to the rest of the team, and written off under the excuse of getting a reassigned.
Isn't Michael coming into this team completely off the cuff though?
@Eviledd1984

"I see." Talia remained where she stood near Jones, rocking lightly along the bottom of her feet. Phasing out of the conversation briefly, she wrapped her mind into the flows of energy throughout the building. The resulting psychic euphoria washed over her like a waterfall, drenching her telepathic senses. Almost as soon as reaching the peak of her trance, she returned to focus on the conference room. Rubbing her eyes, and pinching the bridge of her nose to relieve the feeling of pressure through her head, she heaved a deep breath.
"For starters," she said. "Special Agent Talia LeCroix. If I haven't explained it well enough thus far, I'm what you might call a psychic. My abilities allow me to sense energies and commune with the minds of others; to some degree, I can get visions of events to come but... it's inconsistent, and vague at best, so I wouldn't rely heavily on it if I were you... I can't really even use it of my own accord.

"As for the matter at hand: I've just given a precursory feel of the building. As I'm sure you can imagine, a facility that hosts a population of supernatural beings and artifacts such as ours makes it difficult to sense much from afar. The items you've mentioned, compared to creatures and people that housed here, emit more of a trace of energy. Vampire blood on its own, for example, would provide a minimal source of detectable energy compared to a complete vampire. A similar principle can be applied to dragon scales.

"The Undying Flower may well be the easiest for me to sense off if its own emission. The silver chains should also be feasible for my senses. As for the others, it may be easier for someone with more traditional senses to seek them." She paused quickly to draw another breath before adding, "however, if my opinion on this matter is of an validity, I would suggest seeing whether or not any of our resident vampire, or related kin, would be willing to donate blood to aid our cause."
