Bio

Not born in a log cabin, I came into the RPing venture around 2009 and quickly joined about twenty roleplays more than I should have at the time. I've been around the internet in that time span, participated in and run RPs on multiple forums, and brushed shoulders with a wide variety of players and characters. Getting to work with new people has always been part of the allure of the experience.

My interests in RPing are pretty diverse, and not genre-specific; if there's room at the table and I can think of a dish to serve, I'll cook something up for just about any meal. If you know what I mean.

"Perhaps, Mr. Jones," Talia spoke, breaking a long silence in her part, "you should take a moment to familiarize yourself with the capabilities of your team members. That is, if you're to be assuming the lead." She circled around the room, stopping near the door. "It was to my misfortune that I was delayed in my arrival to this briefing. So I will require filling in on what it is that we are searching for. However, if any of these artifacts emit even the faintest of energy, that is, the paranormal sense, then I should be able to roughly discern their locations. From what I have been present for, it would seem that they should be of supernatural potency; therefore, I should be able to point a team in the right direction."
Is PLX-395 still around, AllHollowsEve hasn't been on in a long time. I wanted to partner him with Miss. LeCroix and Ashly. science, magic, and psychic.

As it happens, when I was considering that character, I was thinking of the same sort of grouping; advanced alien technology + Talia's telepathic power = heckin' good psychic.

On a different note, who's actually supposed to be the team leader among the characters?
I can still come around. Just been a rough few weeks at work. I've been going in earlier than I used to (and, thus far, staying roughly 30-45 minutes later).
@Wayward What do you mean? We don't have that many people.

It just feels like we've got a lot of people, when looking at the character tab at least.
This team is becoming pretty bloated in terms of numbers.
Talia edged a path around the conference room, finally situating herself before the elder. The man was getting increasingly frustrated with the team; understandably so too, as none them seemed willing or able to coordinate their efforts as a whole unit. Two had apparently departed in spite of orders to remain in the room until everyone had been dispatched to the task at hand. Those that remained, were proving either hotheaded, unenthusiastic, or downright arrogant. Calmly, Talia leaned in towards Alyssa, whispering. "They've got the chemistry of a rock and a glass window. I could feel the tension from downstairs.

"Perhaps," she continued, more loudly, and to those that were still in the room, "we should start with me, as per request, locating our two rogue agents. They can't have gone too far. Of what species are they? Knowing that much should make finding them less trouble."

Most like everyone will be able to lead at some point since they all have different skills. But someone needs to do something.

I'm figuring I'll have Talia take some charge over the situation. But my post will have to wait until morning (IRL).
I mean, Talia's power set would make her pretty well-suited for a leadership role...

The polished steel doors of the elevator parted, opening into the hallway of conference room level. Half to her annoyance and half to her relief, Talia's stay in the foyer had proven longer than she anticipated. Given the nature of her previous assignment, she had consequently found herself engaged in a persistent stream of conversation with other agents connected to the case. She had answered questions as concisely as she could in the conscious effort to make it to her new team in a timely manner; but, as was the case with Bureau business, one question lead to another, and one conversation inevitably lead into the next without respite. Now, having left another brief meeting to fill in the replacements on her old assignment, she was free to move on to her new team.

Still, sensing an abundance of hostility about the conference rooms, she tread at a less-than-hurried pace, taking the time to tie her hair back into a bun... a more professional look was always preferable, and that much justified the unexcused tail-end of her tardiness.

She needed no directions as to which room she was headed; the raised, arguing voices had managed to carry to the end of the hall, even cutting through the elevator doors when it had arrived on the floor. Even that, however, was almost minuscule next to the aggressive sensations emanating from that point, which, even back in the foyer, seemed to press its weight upon the facility. Thinking, then, that she might be of some help to de-escalating the situation(s), she wasted no further time, immediately entering as soon as she arrived that the door.

Stepping into the conference, room, she took advantage of a brief break in the discussions, and cleared her throat loudly.

@KatherinWinter

((Haven't been able to completely commit to memory who else is in the room. I'll get the hang of the tagging business over time)).
