Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 8-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing. Since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

I started with writing Dutch stories in 2002, I was already 19 at that time. I joined a writing competition and that got me started. Soon I started to write down all the stories my over-active imagination came up with. I had my first forum rp experience in 2003 on a Dutch fantasy forum. While I continued to write, I stopped rp-ing when the particular rp and forum slowly died. In 2011 my love for rp's rekindled when I joined a site with a forum and I started to RP solely in English since that is the language of the site. This is also when I wrote my first story in English.

I've got a few 1x1 rp's going on this site and a couple more on another site. I've always been a fan of writing competitions and I joined a lot several of the ones that were hosted on this website. Now I get to host them myself and really enjoy that too.

When you come here to check if I'm online, know that even when I show as online I might not be able to respond to RP's. I open this site so that when I have time I can spend some time here, but I don't always end up with the time to do so.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. I don't ghost on purpose, sometimes I just forgetful and if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab I might forget I was supposed to reply T_T

While he didn't need much, he did like to have Niccia to himself. Even if it was for just a few minutes. Michael noticed how Anthony flew to the trees and followed him with his eyes. He didn't mind his Pokémon did their own things, and Anthony was just recently caught too, but he always was a little worried when they strayed too far.
He glanced around the area too, it was quiet here. That was nice. And everyone seemed to get along well too. What more could they want?

"Hello there, handsome, Saruya greeted him, rubbing her head against him. "Why don't we sit overthere?" she suggested, nodding with her head to place further away, still close enough so she could keep an eye on the little ones, but far enough to have a little privacy.

Anthony flew to the tree where Merlin and a Noibat where. "Hello Merlin, the Fletchling greeted him as he settled on the branch next to him. He examined the Noibat who sat a couple of branches lower.
"Good morning," Merlin greeted him.
"Have you made a new friend?"
Merlin looked at the Noibat too. "Friend is a strong word," he stated.

"It's their loss," Mindy said, "but it is sad Pokémon get rejected from their group. Professor Bansing once talked about it in the academy, his Primeape was the same, when he found him as a Mankey he was alone, rejected because he was considered too weak. It's so sad when that happens." She looked at the Salazzle. "But she looks happy with you."
She took her own Pokéballs and partly turned around so she had a clear area for all her Pokémon to join them. One by one she opened them and everytime the light faded a new Pokémon was there.
Soon they were joined by a Charizard, a Dunsparce, a Decidueye, an Onix and a Lapras. She proudly turned to Michael, who blinked when he saw the team, the grinned and raised his thumb.
The Dunsparce crawled towards her and she picked her up. "These are my partners," she said to Gavin. "Minus one, but she will soon be here."

Benjamin nodded too, looking relieved they had come up with something that could work. The next part was for Sara then, she needed to talk with Marc. He put a hand over his stomach when it rumbled.
Not that he was looking forward to the meal, the warm meals they served here were of low quality. But it was food and he'd rather not starve to death. And it would be close to lunchtime.

Wait...

"Oh..." he suddenly said, followed by a sigh. "I think I missed my group therapy today. I guess I'll be hearing about that." He had completely forgotten. He shrugged it off. "Lunch, anyone?
In the character tab I made a list of patients who went home without saying goodbye to anyone or who went missing. As I'm copying the RP to the a Google Doc I came across the mention of Linda, who Simon noticed was gone. They said she had gone home and Simon was sad she didn't say goodbye first.
Patients who have mysteriously disappeared (will update this as more patients "go home"):
  • Female patient known as Linda.
  • Male patient named Simon, heard voices in his head.
  • Female patient named Susanna, agoraphobic, anxiety and recovering painkiller addict.
  • Male patient named Franklin, old cop.

Misc patients
  • Carol: a catatonic woman
  • Geoffry: a male patient, 32 years, mutters constantly, has tremors in his hand and arm.
Benjamin joined Duncan at the table and listened to him. It was true kids were imaginative, but they could also band together against those who they fought were weird. And sadly adults could do the same. That is why he liked working for the agency, where he wasn't weird. On the contrary, he was respected by those in charge. Some of the agents thought he was useless because he couldn't fight and could only see invisible things, but at least he wasn't being mocked for his ability. And he knew Mike felt the same way. It was good there was another place where people wouldn't look at him strangely if he'd say he saw a ghost.

"And what made you the odd one out in the police task force?" he asked.

"You were probably able to befriend one because you weren't considered pray," Ethan scoffed. "It's not a surprise it turned its back on you either. The other agents told me some things about vampires and they can't be trusted. At least not when humans are involved." He shrugged, it didn't matter to him. He'd show those creatures humans could fight back.

Dr Lily Waters: researcher for the Paranormal Investogators - specialises in demons.
Eva Polty: assistant of Dr Waters.
Benjamin looked at Sara and frowned. "The first suggestion wasn't dumb, why would this one be? It's a good idea, but I think records are shared among doctors and not send to a patient or his family." He leaned back, looking at the ceiling. "Do you think Marc is the kind of guy that would help others when they screwed up?" He glanced at Sara after he asked his question. "Because if he is that kind of guy, maybe you could pretend to be worried that you wrote something inaccurate in Simon's file. And maybe, if Marc really is your friend, he won't mind to correct the mistake for you. And when he's back you can ask him about other things he might have seen in the file." He looked around. "Could that work?"
He was running out of ideas himself.
