Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 8-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing. Since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

I started with writing Dutch stories in 2002, I was already 19 at that time. I joined a writing competition and that got me started. Soon I started to write down all the stories my over-active imagination came up with. I had my first forum rp experience in 2003 on a Dutch fantasy forum. While I continued to write, I stopped rp-ing when the particular rp and forum slowly died. In 2011 my love for rp's rekindled when I joined a site with a forum and I started to RP solely in English since that is the language of the site. This is also when I wrote my first story in English.

I've got a few 1x1 rp's going on this site and a couple more on another site. I've always been a fan of writing competitions and I joined a lot several of the ones that were hosted on this website. Now I get to host them myself and really enjoy that too.

When you come here to check if I'm online, know that even when I show as online I might not be able to respond to RP's. I open this site so that when I have time I can spend some time here, but I don't always end up with the time to do so.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. I don't ghost on purpose, sometimes I just forgetful and if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab I might forget I was supposed to reply T_T

This time the flight wasn't as sudden, and Ethan was actually able to enjoy the short travel through the air. He held onto Gaia's arms, even though he knew she'd be strong enough to hold him, it still felt safer this way. Even though the flight had been gentle, he was glad to feel the ground under his feet again.

Ethan went to the hatch and tried to pull it open. "Locked," he sighed. Of course it was. "Forget it," he grumbled, kicking the hatch, gentle enough to avoid any damage done, but hard enough to vent some frustration. He turned his back at it and looked at the dragon woman. He definitely wasn't going to use her as punching bag, even though she had offered it.

He was about to suggest something else to do when agent Barow joined them. He looked at Gaia, carefully hiding any contempt he felt for this monster. "I heard you're coming with us tonight. Make sure to wear a cloak, you'll draw too much attention to us otherwise." He turned to Ethan. "Come with me for a moment, we'll practice a little more so you're ready for tonight."

Ethan nodded and looked at Gaia. "I guess," he said, gesturing to the other agent, "I've got something to do."

"Tomorrow?" Benjamin repeated and he nodded. "Sure, I've got nothing special planned. If you're a morning person maybe we can have a coffee somewhere. This place or another coffee shop, around 9 or so. " He looked at April, he wasn't sure why she wanted to talk with him, but he didn't mind.
So Ethan won't get the job to try and kill Gaia then. But capturing her and doing experiments on her, that is something mr. Johnson can do very well. And he'll be interested in the pay-out too. So yes, let's do that.

I think it would make the best story if Steph and Benjamin are not in touch during the time skip. Maybe Benjamin wanted to, but he couldn't reach her, because she lost her phone or something and when she gets a new one she only has Aprils number in it.
And then they run into each other.

It would definitely be in character for Benjamin to try and stay in touch with everyone, including Harriet.
Mabel flew to a tall building and landed on the roof. She gently let the two Pokémon on the ground and settled on the grass. She had picked this roof, because it had a rooftop-garden. And because it was one of the tallest buildings there was a great view of the city, with no shade from nearby buildings.
She lay down on her belly and closed her eyes as the warm beams of the sun caressed her skin. "I do this with Blaze when I have the chance," she said, opening her eyes again and looking at Charcoal. "Your kind likes warm weather, don't they?"

Mindy looked back when Fez spoke, although she was unable to understand the words. She flashed a smile at Gavin and went to the door of the first shop. It was still early, but the shop had already opened and she went inside.
There were plenty of clothes to choose from, she would let Gavin walk around and pick something he liked and give advice when he asked for it, or if he showed exceptional bad taste.

From on top of a streetlight a Meloetta looked at Mindy and Gavin. She giggled and hid from view.

Michael stared at the new colours of fur. How was this possible? Wasn't Soul a shiny Absol after all? Again he realised how little he knew about the world of Pokémon when Legendaries and their Guardians were involved. It had to be linked to that, there was no other explanation. He glanced to his uncle, who had his thumb and index finger cupped around his chin as he observed the Absol.

"Right," Andy said as he turned to Niccia and Michael. "I just came to say I'm going to Elm before he leaves and then I'll go to the library. If you need me, that's where I will be. You kids be safe." He looked at his Primeape. "I'm taking Kim and Varina with me, but I will leave Bear with you, the library is no place for him and sitting in the Pokéball all day is not good for him." He gave Michael Bears Pokéball. "If something enrages him, return him. He is still a Primeape and he still gets angry for little things. If you want I'll leave Benny here as well, his Sleeping Powder can stop Bear."
He looked from Michael to Niccia to see how they felt about it.

Benjamin looked at Ray, maybe it had been an insenstive question, but that hadn't been his intention. He decided he would ask Marc about it.
"I was," Benjamin answered the question, shrugging slightly. "Too bad no-one could help me fight the recommendation to be put in this place. The psychiatrist I was first sent to, because I saw things no-one else could, was quick to say that this place would be the best for me. I refused, but it was decided since I'm the delusional one I couldn't decide for myself. Sadly, my parents thought this really would help me." He put some beans in his mouth. "Honestly, they're good people, but like everyone else, they don't believe in ghosts. Plus, the psychiatrist had a silver tongue, he was able to take away any doubt my parents had and grossly exaggerated my condition. Even when my father carefully opted for looking around for mental hospitals and pick one that suited me, he was able to persuade them this was the best place he knew."

Geoffry didn't answer the question, he shook his head and muttered things about dogs and bullets and roses. Wherever he was in his mind, he didn't seem to be grounded in the present.
When the two Pokémon were with her, Mabel made sure they would be comfortable during the flight. She gently beat her wings and lifted into the sky, flying over the center and to the rooftop in a speed fast enough to stay in the air, but slow enough for the little Pokémon to be comfortable.

"Oh," Mindy said as she looked at Gavin. "I'm not sure. It depends on the style of clothes too. And sometimes you just have to see someone with it to say if it suits them or not. I once found a dress of which I wasn't certain about the colour and the patterns, but when I tried it on it looked really good on me." She smiled and looked ahead again, going straight to the first shop. "So we'll see what they have and go from there."
A shadow came over them and Mindy looked up, seeing Mabel fly through the air with two of Niccia's Pokémon with her. It was nice to see she had made some friends already.

Michael looked at Niccia when he heard her say 'Soul' and then he looked at the shadows she was looking at. Was Soul there? It was hard to see. The Absol stayed in the shadows. He was certain Soul would show himself, so he waited for that.

Bear and Kim rounded the corner and ran into the backyard of the Pokémon Center. Bear went to where Lytse was and readied his fists.
"Come on, sport. Show me what you got!"
Lytse sat up and raised his front paws, pushing them against Bear's fists.
"You are getting stronger each day!" Bear exclaimed.
Kim giggled as she watched it.

As the other two Pokémon were already mingling with the Pokémon, Andy took Varina's Pokéball and aimed it so that she would materialize in his arm. "Come out, Varina," he said as he tapped the Pokéball to open it. He noticed Niccia and Michael looking at some bushes and he walked over to them to see what they were looking at.
"Yeah... if it's not there I give up," Ethan sighed. There couldn't be another place where they would dump shit like that. Unless they disposed of things immediately, but companies usually weren't strict with getting rid of old things, at least not until they had enough to make it worth it to bring in a container. "We'll fly. Just ignore the fuckheads who say you can't do that."

Mr. Johnson narrowed his eyes. Were they lying? A vampire had given him documents where he had seen the mention of a high-pitch sound emitter placed between her wings, it's where he had gotten the idea. Maybe they didn't know, or they did and didn't want to tell him. Either way, he wasn't going to tell them.
"Come to my office in two days, 9 in the morning. We'll talk. I have another meeting now, so if you'll excuse me. Have a good day." He hung up and looked at Morrison, who had patiently waited at the door. "Yes?"
"Carl has wings."
Again Johnson's eyes narrowed. "Describe them."
"Large... and perhaps... angelic."
"Okay," Johnson said, nodding slowly. "Thanks. I'll deal with it."
Agent Morrison nodded as well and left the office.

"Oh, it's not really a date," Benjamin said. "We were just having lunch with two more friends. And technically you never interrupted anything. Those guys did. And Jackson and Mitch did the last time." He turned to Steph, offering her his hand. "I think a date with you will never be boring, but let's go back inside. Harriet will be worried, you ran off pretty suddenly and she'll want to know everything is okay with you."
"It's their loss, not yours," Benjamin commented, but paused when trays were put on their table. The vegetables seemed soggy and the potatoes didn't have the most appetizing appearance. "I sometimes wonder what my family is doing now," he said, as he poked one of the potatoes with his fork. "I haven't had any contact with them ever since I came here. I haven't been allowed to call them, I didn't receive any calls nor any visits." He frowned as he realized something. "I haven't seen any visitors." He looked at Ray, who had been longer here than him. "No-one ever visits, right?"

Geoffry didn't let go of the fork, but he did allow Sara to keep the fork steady and guide his hand between the plate and his mouth. He continued to mutter between bites, but suddenly he clearly said: "They killed Simon," only to go back to his usual incoherent mutters straight after. He hadn't looked at Sara at any point.
Trevor turned his attention to Rai, she had wanted to say something before the dragon had landed on the field and drew in all the attention. "What is it you had to say?" he asked.
So far he still needed to hear a plan better than the one Crreessa had suggested, but Rai seemed like a likely candidate to come with something good. Her posture had indicated that she was self-assured and he could appreciate that in a person.

The Hermit looked from Trevor at Rai, he too wanted to know what she had to say. Maybe it was best to let the dragons talk amongst themselves and greet the Elder.

Rachel had stood up when the old dragon had landed, and so had Fiona. While Rachel remained where she was, Fiona walked to the Elder and she too bowed her head as a greeting. When the small dragon walked to the old dragon she thought it was endearing, but it was obvious they needed to teach the young ones a few things.

The dragon looked at the green hatchling and a deep rumble sounded. "You can call me Elder," he spoke in the dragonic language.
Please forgive him, Fiona thought to him. He has recently hatched and he has no parents. I will teach him the proper ways of the dragons.
The old dragon nodded and turned to the little green one again. "You overestimate your strength. But I appreciate the sentiment." He turned to look at RedClaws. "It depends on what help you need," he said.
His eyes moved over all the adult dragons that were gathered here, he recognised all species, but it seemed the only two free dragons were himself and the small one floating on the water.

The general looked at the map and nodded slowly. "Find Trevor, find Dragon Riders. Kill on sight. Those are your orders." He paused as he examined the map, his eyebrows moving into a frown. "Between all those sightings is a place I can see dragon riders or Trevor going, although they may have left already. A hermit lives here." He put his finger on the map. "If they aren't there he might know where they are. It will be a good place to start your search."
He looked at the two shifters. "That's all. I will report to the king."
Ethan went through his hair with his fingers as he thought about it. "Basement, probably. It's close to the fitness rooms and I think there's a latch outside too. It's probably the easiest place to dump the old and broken shit from gyms and everything down there." He cursed under his breath. "Should have come to that conclusion earlier." As he said it, it seemed to be the most logical place to find an old punching bag. At least they had been able to release the imps, so it wasn't all in vain. And it wasn't like he had climbed up any stairs for nothing.

Mr. Johnson frowned to the computer screen and was able to hold in an irritated groan. "I see," he said. "Well, you'll be pleased to know I consider her a valuable asset to our team. I won't dispose of her." He had no qualms about lying, and he had been doing it for long enough to be rather good at it too.
Truthfully, hearing they couldn't make another Gaia was a relief, and now he was even more resolved to dispose of her. If the monster died, no other monsters could be created. So the monster had to die.
"Are there special needs I need to know about?" he asked, taking a pen so he could write down any information he got. "Or perhaps weaknesses that I should protect her from. Just like you, I want to keep her alive."

Agent Morrison knocked on the door and opened it to see if mr. Johnson was available. He saw he was on the phone, but mr. Johnson allowed him to come in with a gesture of the hand. So he went inside and closed the door behind him. He stood silently at the door, waiting for the phonecall to end.

Benjamin only smiled at the remark of April and looked at Steph. There was something he wanted to say to her ever since he saw the menu, but he'd rather not do that when someone was around. Maybe later, there was plenty of time for that. Steph needed a moment to collect herself after all, and the female demon had said she had something for Steph.
So he waited.
The Wingull lay motionless on the ground, the rising and falling of its chest showed it was still alive, but it was unresponsive. Whatever method would be chosen, it was best to get the injured Pokémon to the Pokémon Center.

The Spinarak didn't seem to follow Sarah as she backed away. They continued to fire string shots at the Pokémon within range, but they weren't going to leave the safety of their trees and fight. The Spinarak trying to get the Abra did sound annoyed when the shots kept missing, but it too didn't give any impression of wanting to pursue the Pokémon when it teleported out of range.
