Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 8-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing. Since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

I started with writing Dutch stories in 2002, I was already 19 at that time. I joined a writing competition and that got me started. Soon I started to write down all the stories my over-active imagination came up with. I had my first forum rp experience in 2003 on a Dutch fantasy forum. While I continued to write, I stopped rp-ing when the particular rp and forum slowly died. In 2011 my love for rp's rekindled when I joined a site with a forum and I started to RP solely in English since that is the language of the site. This is also when I wrote my first story in English.

I've got a few 1x1 rp's going on this site and a couple more on another site. I've always been a fan of writing competitions and I joined a lot several of the ones that were hosted on this website. Now I get to host them myself and really enjoy that too.

When you come here to check if I'm online, know that even when I show as online I might not be able to respond to RP's. I open this site so that when I have time I can spend some time here, but I don't always end up with the time to do so.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. I don't ghost on purpose, sometimes I just forgetful and if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab I might forget I was supposed to reply T_T

Happy New Year everyone ^_^
"He's...an odd nurse," Benjamin said to Dia as he watched Josh leave. "I'm getting strange vibes from him. He's wearing the uniform, but he is different from the others." He wasn't sure how to feel about that, maybe he just had to get to know him first. "What do you think?"
He started walking in another direction than Josh had left in, he didn't care where he went as long as he could walk. Although he felt more for running, but he wasn't sure how the staff would react to that. Most likely they'd ask him to stop.

Marc walked through the building to see where Sara was. He found her standing with her back against the file room door. "Hey there," he said. "I'm ending my shift, so I'll go change and then we can go. If you're up for that." He examined her shocked expression and frowned. "Everything okay with you?"
Benjamin saw Steph lie down and jolt back up and he returned the smile. "I'm glad you are," he said to her. "I'm glad you're able to relax around me like that. And if you want to lie down you can." he sat down on the bed, next to Steph. "It's probably good we don't have any missions planned for the rest of the day, today has been eventful enough, right?"

The angry clicking was a concerning sound. With their guns ready they moved forward until they saw the metallic looking spider. Immediately a few snipers kneeled and aimed at the... thing. The others stood behind them, looking at the trees and the large spider ahead.
"Keep your flares ready," the team leader said and a few took their flares. It had proven useful earlier, but everyone just had one round to shoot with.

"We want our agent back!" the team leader said. "Release her and we won't harm you!"
Hopefully they were able to communicate, if not he would give the order to attack.
Andy paused when he heard the question, he had never expected he would need to explain something like that. "Well," he began with a shrug, "in a body with a healthy mind that is an automatic process. Sleep is a kind of unconscious state that just happens when we relax when we are tired and we wake up from it automatically, when the body and brain had enough rest, or an external stimulus wakes us up. If you will lie in the bed it should just happen by itself, but if you worry a lot about your current situation or start plotting or whatever it may take a while before you fall asleep. That is also normal, with an active mind it's harder to fall asleep, but eventually the fatigue will take over."

He gestured with his thumb over his shoulder. "If you need me, I'll be sleeping in the room on the other side. But I'll probably watch some TV first."

Had he covered the basics now? He thought he had. In the morning he could see about getting the man a toothbrush and explain a bit more about personal hygiene, if that was also something he wasn't aware of.
Agent Morrison is also getting a more and more prominent role in the RP XD We'll see what kind of side-adventures we can come up with for them <3
Benjamin fell silent after Dia asked her question. "I don't know," he said with a bitter tone in his voice. "There isn't any place to go."
He looked at the drawing he had made, wishing for a set of wings of his own so he could leave this place, and then looked at the pencil, suddenly remembering he had to return it. He turned back and walked straight to Josh.
"Thanks," he said, holding the pencil out to him.

Marc went to Carol's room, where the catatonic patients sat in her chair. "I came to see if you need anything," he said, but the woman didn't react to him. Marc let out a disappointed sigh, there still wasn't any sign of improvement. He went to her to make her drink from the cup with the straw and then left the room again, searching for Sara.
"Right this way." Andy led him to the second corridor and opened a room. A thick grey carpet was on the floor and against one wall was a single bed with a bedcover over it. Against the wall opposite of the bed were a chest of drawers and a chair. Andy walked in and opened the lowest drawer so he could quickly make the bed.

"This is my guest room," he explained. "I sometimes have my nephew or a friend spending the night, but most of the time it's not in use. I'll give you some pyjama's from me to sleep in, we don't usually sleep in the clothes we wear during the day. But, you can sleep naked too, whatever you prefer."

It didn't take him long to have the bed made and turned to Alastor. "This is where you can sleep. Lightswitch..." Andy switched the light to show how it worked. "We tend to sleep better when it's dark. Bathroom is across the corridor. If you get an urge, a pressing feeling or pain in your lower abdomen," he tapped the area of bladder and colon on his own body, "that might be a sign you need to use the toilet. I'm not going into detail how the digestive system works, but it comes down to we eat food or drink fluids, the body takes what it needs and we expel the excess, the waste. We dump it in the toilet and flush it away, just lower your pants, sit down, and let nature do the rest. You will be hungry and thirsty again in the morning, but there is food and water in the kitchen." He paused as the thought about it. "I think I covered the basics, but if you have any questions I'll do my best to answer them."

This was the first time he had to remember to explain the basics to what looked like an adult man. At the same time his guest was in for a treat, so many good things to discover for a first time, he probably didn't know how lucky he was.
"It looks like they're done~" Penalopy said. "Race you there!" She turned invisible and quickly floated to Gavin, where she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Gavgav! You make me so happy," she chimed as softly as she could, but only barely managed to keep her voice down. "Shall we go see Mew now? Please? Dausiin said she's with you!"

Mindy could hear the soft melodic voice and was relieved to see no-one around them either seemed to notice it, or think the strange sounds could be from a legendary Pokémon. She watched a man rush to the exit after paying for the items he had bought, people were in such a rush most of the time, they probably wouldn't even notice her if she had been visible.

Michael stroke Missy's back and then returned her to the Pokéball. He joined Niccia and looked from her to the gym leader. "Thanks for the battle," he said to her. "We'll be on our way again."
"Of course! Enjoy your journey."[/i] Whitney waved at them.

"Let's see if Gavin survived the shopping trip with Mindy," he said to Niccia with a faint smile. He hadn't been shopping with Mindy a lot, and definitely not for clothes, but he thought he knew Gavin well enough to imagine how he felt about it. "And I'll send a text to my uncle to let him know about our victory."
"Yeah!" Bear said, jumping up and down. "Tell him he needs to come to the gym too and have a battle himself. I can't wait to take on that Miltank myself!"
"I will let him know," Michael said as he took his phone.

"Yes," Saruya agreed. "Let's run." She hadn't imagined to have the energy for that after the battle, but Harry had somehow healed her and she felt strong enough to run. She didn't want to take any longer than necessary to warn Michael and Niccia about the hunting Mightyena's.
She started running to the city, they'd go to the Pokémon Center first and see if their trainers were there. And if not, it was a good starting point for their search.

Andy entered the café, holding the door open for his female guest and their Pokémon companions. One of the waiters noticed them and approached. "A table for two humans and two Pokémon," Andy said to him.
The waiter nodded. "Very well, this way place." He gestured with his hand to a table and as he walked towards it he looked at the guests. "Would you like the menu?"
"Well, we know what we want to drink," Andy said and he looked at Frosiien. "But if you'd like something to eat as well..."

When the doors opened Andy left the elevator and entered the corridor, the walls beige with horizontal orange stripes painted on it to have a some colour. A notice board hung halfway and Andy quickly examined it before continuing, nothing new had been added since the morning.
He stopped in front of the 4th door and opened it. "Come in," he said, leaving the door open for his guest as he stepped inside himself. "Close the door behind you, will you?"

The walls in the hallway were white with some pictures of family members and on a hatrack were four sculptures of saints. Andy led him to the living room with several masks covering the yellow wall next to a large window, and a large painting of the African savanna on the wall next to an open door giving access to a corridor with a few doors. A round table of light birch was surrounded by four chairs and a light oak sofa and seat set with a matching coffeetable made up the television corner. A tall bookcase in a similar light wood covered most of the last free wall.

"That is where the toilet, bathroom and bedrooms are," Andy said as he gestured ahead. "The kitchen is behind the door in the hall," he added, gesturing to where they had come from. "What do you want to do first, check out your bed or talk about whatever is on your mind right now?"

As Benjamin played he glanced at Steph a few times, he was glad to see her relaxed and happy. A lot had happened the day before and today, it was good to have a breather now. Maybe it could stay a while this way, there weren't many missions that required his expertise, but he still had the files he had to look through, that was something he'd keep himself busy with for the rest of the day. For now he just wanted to play the sax.

When the person operating the drone picked up the agents position he relayed the coordinates to the sniper team. Keeping an eye on the trees above and an eye on the road ahead, the moved in that direction, keeping a close formation.
They moved through the webbed forest, carefully avoiding the web. After one of them had got his arm stuck in the sticky web they knew to be careful with it. After the success with the flare they kept those within hands reach, but they walked with their gun pulled.
"Careful now," the leader said when they were getting close. "We'll have to move in and take out the enemy fast. Everyone ready?"
After getting confirmations, he gave the sign to move forward with his hand.
