Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 8-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing. Since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

I started with writing Dutch stories in 2002, I was already 19 at that time. I joined a writing competition and that got me started. Soon I started to write down all the stories my over-active imagination came up with. I had my first forum rp experience in 2003 on a Dutch fantasy forum. While I continued to write, I stopped rp-ing when the particular rp and forum slowly died. In 2011 my love for rp's rekindled when I joined a site with a forum and I started to RP solely in English since that is the language of the site. This is also when I wrote my first story in English.

I've got a few 1x1 rp's going on this site and a couple more on another site. I've always been a fan of writing competitions and I joined a lot several of the ones that were hosted on this website. Now I get to host them myself and really enjoy that too.

When you come here to check if I'm online, know that even when I show as online I might not be able to respond to RP's. I open this site so that when I have time I can spend some time here, but I don't always end up with the time to do so.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. I don't ghost on purpose, sometimes I just forgetful and if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab I might forget I was supposed to reply T_T

Benjamin listened to everything the girls around him talked about. "Okay," he said at the end. "I will talk with Josh after Sara and I checked up on Ray. I wanted to take Sara to see her too, staff know her." He turned to Sara. "So, shall we go?" then he turned to Dia. "And we'll see you at Sara's room then?"

While he had seen Josh once, that was with Dia and his first impression of him wasn't favourable. But he could try and have a word with him with no one that would make him feel threatened, which meant he'd have to do it alone. He had a few more questions about Josh, but that would have to wait until after they had visited Ray.
Chiyoko frowned at Rose and grabbed her arm to shake her. "Did you not hear what I said?" she asked with a hint of annoyance in her voice. "Do you really think they would give you pretty rooms if they wanted to dispose of you? At the agency they can only observe how you behave in that environment, when you're not out on fieldwork or something. I'm not saying there won't be any tests done on you, but there's no need to panic like this. Beasts they want to study and dispose of because they are dangerous are usually kept in cages. I was in a cage until they decided they wanted me alive instead and I got moved here. You should be glad you are here."

The small woman put her arms in her long sleeves again as she watched Rose to see if her words had any effect. If not, she would just leave; there were better ways to spend this time than to fruitlessly talk to someone panicking over nothing.

Ethan blew away some smoke, in the direction the wind was going, away from the non-smokers. It was admirable Harriet was so cool about her stuff missing. He didn't really have any personal things of value at the base either and all the standard stuff was indeed easily replaced, so he could understand the reaction, but if he recalled correctly she did have some special stuff in her room.
"We can have a look at the old base, yeah," Ethan said. "See what creatures lurk there with everyone gone, and see what things were left behind. I guess any stuff that is still there is free to take?"

Agent Morrison agreed by nodding as he inhaled some smoke and blew it out. With nothing to do, his mind wandered to Carl and Jase. Where would they be? The last thing he heard from them was a message that the agency wanted them dead and that they would destroy the phone. And moments later Rudrig had come to him showing him a text they had to be brought in. And that happened after those beasts from this girl's team had been relocated to the examination facility.
An eventful day for sure, and the night was still young.

The deadline for this contest will be in two weeks.
The deadline for this contest will be in two weeks. That is still enough time to write something for this prompt if you haven't started yet.

If you are already working on something: keep it up! You're doing great and still have 2 weeks to finish it.
Chiyoko held her hand against her lips. "I didn't scare you, did I? You're here, so they don't want to kill you." She had a smile on her face, but her eyes were cold. "If they wanted to kill you, they would have. There's no need to worry. Why would they try to accommodate you all and put effort into nice rooms, if all they want is to dispose of you? Did you see mine? It's almost as if I'm home. I even get prey every now and then."

As calm as she was as she entered the place, she went to where Rose set and held out a hand to help her up. "Do not stress, there's no need for it."

Ethan watched Harriet check the ink-black circle, apparently she saw more in it than he did, as he couldn't see a damn thing but she was able to determine her stuff was gone. He accepted a cigarette from agent Barrow and lit it. "That sucks," he stated as reply to her comment her things were gone.

Agent Morison shrugged a bit. "You mean the old base> We can do that. With us gone it's the perfect moment for enemies to be there, so we might as well hunt for vampires and other intelligent monsters there now. But I don't think you'll find much. If you're talking about the new base, that's just on the other side of this city."
Agent Barow nodded to his fellow agent's words. "I'll get the car," he offered. "Either way we'll have to drive."
We've got our first entry already ^_^
What Ari said made sense, maybe there was a lot of pent-up anger inside her. Anger she had always kept down, but got unleashed with the shock of feeling Ari's connection disappear. Still, to blame and attack Dia, who had been with her for so long. He didn't understand it.
At least Dia was noticeably calmer now and he almost sighed in relief when she to participate in the conversation about Josh.
That was also something to keep in mind - what did Josh do and could they trust him? Could he help them escape or did he have his own agenda?
"I want to check on Ray," he said, "but I'm not sure if taking you two with me is the best thing to do," he said to Ari and Dia. "Her seeing Ari being okay will help, of course, but she's an unknown person to the staff and will probably be removed from the facility."

The guard had ignored Ray; he wouldn't let her out and he certainly wouldn't respond to the namecalling. That happened so often it didn't even bother him. He checked the time, the psychiatrist would probably come in about an hour, and then she could assess whether or not Ray could be released or not.
There wasn't anything Michael could do, except watch his girlfriend being in pain. He hated this helplessness, but he knew he was no match for the mighty Arceus. At least Soul knew what to do, and it seemed to work.

When Niccia was placed with him, Michael quickly moved to her side and touched her cheek. "Niccia? he asked her gently, when he suddenly noticed someone joined them. Raising his head, he noticed his uncle had joined them, who checked her heartbeat and any bodysigns that could give an indication about her health.
"Don't worry too much," he told his nephew. "She'll wake up. I just hope that blast knocked some sense into Arceus."

Harcu approached Arceus, dressed in a tight blue and black suit, his hair white as antlers. He was followed by an Alolan Ninetails. He walked past Soul and Sparty to see how Lecrero was doing.

Meanwhile, Nethan joined the others at the gate. "What are you trying to accomplish?" he said to Necrozoma. "Do you really think that everyone here can't stop you?"
More legendaries came to the gate; Netherlu and Tanter appeared alongside Nethan, Chifferi and Penalopy flew overhead, the Forces of Nature approached and so did three of the four Swords of Justice.
Their guardians were also closeby and seemed ready to strike.

The moment Luna attacked, Benny also used his Bug Buzz, unleashing purple soundwaves from his vibrating antennae. Bear got up from the ground, glaring at Necrozoma as he dusted off his fur.
