Description: Miss Fortune is a sloop--fast, highly maneuverable, and with a shallow hull to easily sail over shoals. She is made of dark wood with a metal reinforced hull.
Size: 70 ft long, 20 ft wide.
Mast: Single, headsail and large, triangular mainsail. On the mast are rune enchantments to produce wind when the wind blowing across the waters is insufficient. Atop the mast is the crow's nest.
Top Deck: At the front and at the rear, Miss Fortune boasts a harpoon cannon which can be used to damage and trap vessels.
Below Deck: Below deck of Miss Fortune is divided between sleeping, living, and galley space toward the back of the ship and storage space for cargo and treasure toward the front of the ship.
Figure Head: Damaged goddess of Fortune, "Fortana", whose arms were once outspread to gather the world's fortunes unto herself.
History: In a previous life, and under another name, Miss Fortune was one small ship among many, larger ships in a wealthy merchant's fleet. When hijacked by pirates, she was abandoned. Her former captain, Captain Bitters, was able to use her speed and agility to out maneuver countless ships and grow his crew's coffers immensely before he retired from piracy, purchasing a smaller ship with which to sell sailing tours.
She'd had the goddess of Fortune commissioned as her figurehead and installed the day before her grand unveiling, but at some point a clumsy crewman had knocked off a bit of her, ah, divinity, and she'd been 'Miss Fortune' ever since.
Special Attributes: wind producing rune enchantments, harpoon cannons, damaged figure head
