Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

MUNCH THE BUTCHER

As Munch spoke to the proprietress, a stranger came up to him. Some sort of fox person, he's never seen someone like her before. She warned him of the guard captain of Targos, though the proprietress clarified that it's the guard captain of Easthaven that needs the help. Munch had a hunch that this stranger was no friend of the law here, which could be risky to associate with... But at the same time, perhaps they could make for a solid ally if Munch's luck goes south. Turning to her, he gives the fox girl a smile. "Name's Munch the butcher. I'm from Waterdeep, came up here looking for work. Nice to meet a fellow travelers on these roads." Munch says out loud, wanting to deflect suspicion off the girl."

He looked to the proprietress and intends to take over the conversation a bit and steer it in a different direction. "It sounds like I'll be heading to Easthaven soon. Would you mind telling me where I could gather some supplies, maybe get some directions? These roads are harsh so it'll do me some good to prepare for the travel ahead." Putting on his winning smile, Munch also turns fully to the proprietress and clasps his hands. "And if possible, could I perhaps have a room here? I'm a bit light on coin, but I know how to work in the kitchen. I can prepare a fine meal for you and your customers for today, if I can stay the night in exchange."

Munch dines on his meal as he listens to the matron. "Guard captain needs outside help huh? Sounds like a job for me then." Munch continues eating, silently critiquing the meal. It was a roasted lingcod, stuffed with some herbs for scent and flavor. Lightly salted, and otherwise not very well seasoned. Very dry, overcooked most likely. At least the meat was somewhat tender, indicating it's a fresh catch and they're not eating old fish. Overall a mediocre meal. Sufficient given the resources available, but Munch could do much better. "Ma'am, I'm interested in helping the guard captain. Do you know where I can find him?"
Tungsten was already going through a veritably whirlwind of emotions with his new position, but now Faetalis wants them to not only have a human skin, but to think of themselves as humans. Even with the gift of sapience, this was not something that Tungesten ever thought to do, and has no idea how to approach this. He has always been a remorseless killing machine, and never once thought himself human, humanoid, or even remotely similar to most other bipedal sapient lifeforms. He took about as much attention to pay attention to the nature of humans as much as he paid attention to the life and culture of ants.

Once more Tungsten was stunned into silence. All he could do was strip the flesh suit off of his body, the artificial mass deflating around his skeletal frame. He tried to think about what exactly Faetalis wanted, and what her words meant. She wanted everyone to create a unique human form, not simply take one from their creators. Tungsten wasn't entirely sure why: were these not merely disguises for them to use to infiltrate the new world? Why invest so much in their meaning? However the more he thought of it, the more Tungsten slowly began to realize that Faetalis was looking towards the future.

Right now everyone was scrambling to restore the guild back to it's former glory. At best everyone was concerned about what the future holds and what threats may approach them in their weakened state. But Faetalis did not care for such things. She did not want the Overseers to be a reflection of the past, but the explorers of a new, unknown future. Tungsten was uncertain still, but at the same time he was beginning to see what Faetalis wanted. She wanted everyone to stop waiting for their creators to come home, for her to give them purpose, and for themselves to create their own purpose. Their own ambitions, to act on their own will. Just as humans explore and expand beyond merely comfort, but towards conquest. Never satisfied with merely surviving, but thriving, for themselves.

To live for one's own self, and not for the purpose of your creator or even towards one's purpose. Unlike humans, who are born into the world with no meaning or fate, each and every one of the Overseer were created to cater and operate their facilities. They knew very little beyond the confines of their factories. The world may as well not exist beyond the context of their factory and the guild as a whole. But Faetalis wants them all to move past that. So Tungsten had to ask himself. What did he want? What would he do, without his creator, without the factory? What did he want to be?

Tungsten tried to think deeply. For all of his life, it has been defined by his service to AlphaQ. To be her shield, to take on her pain. To support her in her endeavors until the bitter end. Though he must now live for himself, he cannot help but think that he still wishes to do what he once did in his past life. To help others, take on their suffering, and support them to become a better self. Even if he cannot live for AlphaQ, he can live for someone else. He lives for others, because that is what he wants to do. He wants to be, "A hero."

Thoughts became physical as Tungsten gains a new skin. Unlike the previous form, this one was not big and burly. So thin in fact, one could still see the bones. Tungsten has always disguised himself as a bigger, more intimidating form, but his true self, his inner human, was small. Puny even. Not a hulking monstrosity like his armor, not having the same larger-than-life presence as his creator. Indeed, Tungsten looked like one of the weakest Overseers. But all the more reason that Tungsten chose this form. It's not about how he looks, but how he acts. Even if he looks tiny he will fight like a giant, and live a hero's life. "I do not understand what you request, Creator Faetalis. But I like this form. It feels... Comfortable."

Little did Tungsten know, he was also buck naked and letting his newly formed male organ hang out. He had quite a weapon on his person, truly a weapon suitable for slaying dragons given it's size and strength. Likely a physical representation of Tungsten's own prowess in battle. And unlike Faetalis, he still didn't really feel the cold though his new flesh was starting to feel a breeze and he wasn't sure if that was normal or not. He has a lot to learn about being a flesh-and-blood creature. On the bright side, he has some interesting woad patterns on his body.

Munch goes to find a chair that is both short enough for him to reach, but also tall enough for him to comfortably sit up to the table or counter. Once seated he takes his heavy pack off and puts it on the floor next to him. When the old matron stopped by, he smiled and nodded."A warm meal and mug of mead would be nice." He slides a single gold coin out to the lady. "And any local news, if you know any. I'm new in town and want to know what's going on around town, see if there's anything I can do to help. I'm a cleric you see, so if there's anything I can do to help, I'd like to do whatever I can."
Ye. While every factory can be expected to be able to produce their own minions, having a dedicated minion factory means we can focus more of our resources and duties while healing minion production off to another factory. And if we want to do more intricate upgrades to our minions, we can use your factory's resources instead of our own.

This can also result in our overseers making minions who utilize resources that our factories don't specialize in. People could start having their own cybernetic minions instead of just Tungsten's skeletons. Or people could use insectoids similar to what Gamma has. So on and so forth.
Could try for more specialized servant types? Like in general. For example while Cyber Skeletons are useful if you need to shoot things, craft things, or just need someone with a pair of hands, they're not great shooters or crafters. Could have slimes who's purposes is to provide more specialized minions to suit more esoteric needs that aren't explicitly covered by existing minions. For example, fire-proof minions to deal with extreme heat areas.

Their factory function would basically be built around tinkering with minions. While every factory can create their own, your factory is where the original creators would build and test out new minions before ported them to their respective factories for production. In the new world, this could possibly be expanded to take new denizens and see what abilities they have could be adapted into minions or even the Overseers themselves.
Most factories have their own servants, and even those who don't tend to borrow from other factories. For example, a lot of people use my Cyber Skeletons, since their main purpose is to basically be built en masses and used by any of the guild Overseers as they see fit.
It be like that. Take care of yourself.
Ye. I figured I ought to go for a big strong dude, but I also wanted to be a pretty lady. So I thought why not both, and be a big strong pretty lady.
