looking at things we might only be a couple rolls away from dungeon time if rolls go well. If everyone who's not going to engage with an NPC could please prepare themselves to wrap up their side of this event I'll be posting a GM post after the last couple NPCs have been dealt with (one way or the other)

@Dark Cloud the dwarf's dead if Darc wants him dead. Although with a smash into the ground he'll probably be horribly maimed and partially giblets if darc - for some horrific torturous reason - decides not to end his life.

@Kenshi ok he's running down a cliff path in the storm and he's out of your view, so assuming your charging with the SMASH, it's average position weak effect. With that success you catch up to him just as he's about to hit the woodland. he's going to whizz round to face you if you smash him again that's normal position/effect.

@POOHEAD189 A 3 is a failure, so she's definitely going to take the opportunity of her free hands to try to tackle you to the ground and
then hopefully attempt to escape. You can pick an action that makes sense to you to roll to resist (like dodging out the way with finesse or smashing her before she lands a blow, even trick or invoke or skulk if it makes sense in context) otherwise she will successfully tackle you without the roll.

@Dark Cloud you can hear the slight sound of combat coming from the way you came, namely angry minotaur and dwarf noises.

Also heads up folks I don't know how much opportunity I'll get to be around this weekend due to some IRL events so if my posts slow down it'll just be until tuesday at the latest, likely. I'll keep you updated if that might be extended but hopefully i won't be MIA completely either. Just a bit slower.

off for the day, think we'll be wrapping up this scene soon after Phardax sorts out the human and someone takes initiative with the last dwarf fleeing (or not, your choice y'all!)

Then we can get on to some dungeon fun and after that you can be let loose on the world, to loot and pillage to your dark heart's content, sandbox-style ;)

@VeyrinDay That's a mixed success, so you achieve what you want (narrate as you wish) and shake off the paralysis but take shock to GUTS as the last vestiges of his dissipating soul fight against your draining magic.

@Kenshi the old dwarf has likely hit the down path at this point, so he's getting away and may soon disappear from line of sight. Phardax is currently restraining the human woman and Darc is possibly going to kill the very drunk dwarf depending on how his rolls go.

@ForsakenBySleep You assign a worker to forage. They seem very happy to be doing something useful.

A laborer moves in. It's getting pretty cramped in that Mud Hut but it's the hottest joint around. People are grumbling about the foods available, but at least you have a good stockpile of foraged roots, fruits, vegetables and berries so no one will starve.

@POOHEAD189 you succeed with the roll so it does as you wish, you can narrate it as you like. The only way that would change is if a bad roll causes a negative consequence.

If you'd like to convince her to comply, you could use THREATEN (0 points in a skill means roll 2d and keep the lowest, and take 1 practice xp. Another player could also try to assist you to get the point across) or you could try to BANTER but it'll be weak effect since you'll be talking to her in Dark Tongue and she won't understand you (but she has a chance to read your body language and maybe quiet down)
