The only time I've shown interest in a Nation RP was something based off Candyland of all things, but it was dead in the water before all of us were able to submit CSes. A shame too,

Ace delt with Barq and Byte, Red engaged Stryker; followed up by a baton pass from Big Band, Albedo went after Nightingale,

So what of Frisk?

She may have been struggling with her realized sense of inadequacy, but she really didn't intend to be stuck waiting for a window of opportunity again. She remained behind cover, peeking out to see Band take his fight with Stryker out into the streets and-

Frisk flinched at the sound of a shotgun being fired, and her eyes quickly widened at the sight of Albedo wounded. She would've rushed over to him if he hadn't immediately bounced back in retaliation. Her face twisted into a conflicted grimace. Come on, think! There's gotta be something you can do!

Then the alchemist managed to rid Nightingale of his shotgun.

...Well, she did concider stealing one of the cops' weapons.

Buckler shield raised in case Barq and Byte wanted to try and stop her, Frisk sprinted towards the shotgun and snatched it up. She took aim at Nightingale. "MOVE!!" Was her only warning to Albedo before she fired. Any further time wasted would've given the officer time to act. Like hell she'd let that happen.

"Off with her head?"
"85%? Wow, I'm somehow luckier than the rest of you. :D"
- Finn and Oliver

Okay, no one seems to have noticed him yet. Great! He readied his weapon. Just a bit closer and he can-

What the fuck.

Before Finn was able to assassinate Doormouse, the Engine had blinked behind her and held her hostage in a chokehold. Before he could internally complain about it, an ear-splitting warning screech emitted from the machine. With an involuntary flinch he quickly covered his ears. Letting his camouflage wear off now would be a death sentence. Honestly, screw this. Now what do I do? Finn thought to himself as he quickly moved a more reasonable distance away.

The Queen of Hearts seemed to be either trying to call Penny's bluff or really conciders Doormouse to be expendible. Pitiful. But she was distracted. If he hurried he can still behead the Queen herself.

Aaaand then "Suwako" appeared and fired a powerful spell at the bitch. What.

...Wait, the Queen was charging up an attack wasn't she? So if she has to waste it on countering that, then...

Soon as the heavy amount of debris Mac picked up flung towards the Queen of Hearts, Finn broke into a sprint, going in for a swift decapitation. He would've aimed for the heart alternatively, but he wasn't taking any chances with this one.

Hm. Everyone's gone quiet.

Oliver didn't account for one of his guards getting knocked over like fragile pottery, but thankfully someone else caught the stragglers before they can get far. "Don't worry about it then!" He reassured Connie as he repaired the fallen armor. A boy with empathic magic appeared to try and help, trying to drain as much panic out of the civilians as he could. Aurelio introduced himself. "Oliver." The ghost nodded. He looked back towards the crowd. "Appreciate the help, but this might not be enough before things get out of hand-"

The sudden appearance of MDP behind them somehow managed to startle the ghost, but frankly? She was exactly what they needed right now. With a relieved sigh he watched as she worked on calming the hysteric civilians back to sleep, and cracked a smile when she finally noticed he was there too. "Aren't you a sight for sore eyes. Thanks for the help!" Oliver thanked her, returning the hug with one arm. At the mention of her "new friends" he curiously glanced outside.

"Wow."

So that makes both the evacuation and the defense basically in the clear, but he hadn't heard from Finn or Iron Mouse in a while. What were they doing?? Oliver noticed the clones trying to built a teleporter.

That tiny thing? Lame.

But he wasn't the one with metal based magic now, was he? The only one of them that was is stuck being mission control, so the least he could do was have his own clones help speed up construction.

It took some work, but they managed to finish Artemis off with Sierra unharmed. Unconscious, but unharmed. Frisk's arms were wrapped around the poor girl, not caring about getting blood on herself, but still appearing concerned. Why was she in that thing, how was she in that thing? Who could've done it?

Her mood only grew more dreary at Big Band's comment. She didn't mean to be a downer, but something was plaguing her at the back of her mind. From the run-in with the Dollmaker to now, it felt like Frisk was just...lagging behind. Clinging onto the coattails of the more experienced, the more powerful, just trying to last as long as they do. She hadn't even felt anything change pertaining to her Level of Violence or Execution Points, but was she really that desperate to resort to that?

No.

Hopefully she can shrug off this feeling of inadequacy soon.

Because the cops arrived.

Frisk's eyes widened when Lucia burst through the doors. God, she had forgotten about her! When Big Band moved out of sight, she tried to follow suit. Unsure of what to do about Sierra, she gently pulled her along with her. So they had thirty seconds to act?

"If we can get them off our backs, we can make a break for the hideout. But what about Sierra?" She asked the others. "We can't leave her like this, can we?" So much for buying a new weapon. Maybe she could steal one if they're forced to fight. They probably wouldn't mind, right?

Perhaps the battle was too overwhelming.

That or the sight of Red using the very civilians they had to protect against Artemis was really jarring. There was nothing else Frisk could do, and when the creature's next attack broke her shield and nearly sent her over the edge, she didn't feel as confident as she initally was. When Big Band hurried over to hoist her out of what would've been quite the fall, she nodded in thanks, but didn't follow him back into the fight. It'd take awhile for her Kindness magic to mend itself, and the boys already had it covered if Artemis getting knocked all the way to the ground floor was anything to go by.

...

Did they really need her help? Frisk hurried down the stairs to regroup with them, but the question still lingered on her hesitant mind. They seemed to be doing fine without her and her useless soul magic. There had to be some spellbooks, or anything she could use around here. Somewhere...

And then things escalated again.

As it turns out, for whatever dreadful reason there may be, Sierra was trapped inside of Artemis. ALIVE. From a floor above the rest of her teammates, Frisk's attention darted between the desperate Artemis' retaliation and Red managing to evacuate the civilians, then shouting orders to the other boys. So where would that leave her?

Well, she had one idea, at least. Soon as Ace used the summoned Solar Isotoma to move closer to the creature, Frisk could be seen jumping down from the second floor onto the flower, buckler shield resting on one arm just in case. Ace was trying to pry the regenerating wound back open. If Frisk could just reach far in enough and get a grip on Sierra, she could pull her out as hard as she can!

If she doesn't get blasted again by pink lasers, that is.
Also, I recently watched a let's play stream of Hi-Fi Rush, and goddamn the game is filled to the brim with charm. (Far better than the initial "this game looks like RWBY" impressions that I originally got from it. Ha ha stupid male MC aside.)

Really? I got Generator Rex vibes from it off the trailer.

And the whole NSR comparisons thing is understandable. Like, imagine comparing NSR to...idfk...Harmoknight despite the two having more than enough differences besides "Rhythm-Based Combat"

Door trouble aside, the ill seekers soon discarded the tainted red and sickening pink for a serene and calming blue. The rainfall would've been refreshing if Omori wasn't so sick. And he doubted the blood would wash off his clothes that easily. He had idly followed everyone else to the boat, trying not to let himself succumb this ailment. And yet, he still quietly held Mewo in his arms like a young child with their teddy bear. The boy simply retreated to his thoughts the whole ride through. A selfish part of him wished his dear sister was there with him, for him, for comfort. But at the same time...

No, he wouldn't allow Mari to go through THAT hellish labyrinth. Never.

The Knight meanwhile seemed to become eager when they were close to the city center. This place. It knew this place! But it was livelier than it had ever been when it first arrived! A glimpse of what the City of Tears used to be before her. When their boat was docked, the little bug hurried up the steps and to the plaza. If this was the same city, then the fountain should be-

...What?

That...wasn't its sibling...

Omori had followed everyone off the boat and to Cornifer, more than willing to let them do the talking instead of him. His skin felt itchy, his jaw hurt, and he felt like if he tried to talk he'd subject himself into another coughing fit. Luckily, the mapmaker directed them to somewhere they can recover at, along with other places of interest. Though as the boy noticed the Knight was dead still, staring at the fountain's statue, something caught his ear.

The ill-tempered Consul P.

That statue wouldn't happened to be of him, would it? He didn't know, and it'd hurt his brain if he mulled over it right now. One of the locals; a human, surprisingly, offered to lead the sick seekers to the Sanitarium. At that, Omori tried to speak. "Plea-" He quickly held a fist to his mouth to stiffle the second coughing fit since It Lives. Freaking called it. The black cat in his arms looked at Ichiban, meowing in response as if she was answering for the poor kid.

Yeah, might wanna get this settled first.
Ive gotta get a splatoon game at some point. The salmon run calls me.
@Majoras End You're welcome to vie for a spot in the roleplay, though we have our fair share of casters so far. I'd settle on trying to make a physical class. ^^

Cant blame em, magic is cool.
Feelin cute. May make a healer.

Key word being may, for now I give you another bump.
Hmmm.
