Current The only thing I love more than the protracted development of passion projects, is NOT getting other people's money involved.

Despite what Joker 2 would have you believe, the REAL Joker works for Nintendo. Check mate, Batman!

Okay but like seriously though, let's not tell Nintendo about this... About what, you ask? Exactly!

Greetings visitor! I hope you're having a good day! Whether you've seen me around the guild or not, I should admit that it's only been within year-6 of my time on this site that I've bothered to start work on this here "bio". I feel like I should apologize for not making it a higher priority much sooner, but lately I've adopted that "better late than never" mindset when it comes to introductions, and besides, I doubt there was much to tell in my early years anyway. I'm pretty much an amateur writer who got my start as a minor tag-along player in a fandom AU campaign ran by a small, close-nit remnant of a community formerly in association with a notable strategy-gaming youtuber. I'm being vague for brevity's sake. In the end, I value my first exposure to roleplaying as a personal learning experience more than anything, as I'm definitely the kind of person that sequesters themselves in any given community they find themselves in and RPG is certainly no exception.

That pretty much explains what I've been up to for the last several or so years, with only occasional public posts from me, as private 1x1 roleplays are easily where the lion's share of my attention goes to. Details regarding my particular interests and even approach as a prospective partner can be found in the interest check I update very rarely, but if you'd like to have a link to it or want to work with me in a similar capacity, then PMs are the best way to reach me. As for what you can expect in very broad terms, I'll say that I'm a 90s kid who'd grown up on Nintendo and Cartoon Network where, thanks to Toonami, I've developed an appreciation for the Japanese style of animation, a style that commonly influences my own creative endeavors to this day. That is in no way to say that I'm an avid watcher of anime and the like (I have my tastes and while that does sometimes coincide with what's current, it usually doesn't), just that I gravitate toward the ludicrous, extraordinary concepts and settings they commonly facilitate. That style aligns with what excites me creatively. That's the long and short of it. Exceptions do exist of course.

I'm juggling some things, but will try to get something up by Friday or the weekend.
@Denny
My primary character is well underway I assure you. But in the meantime, I was wondering if I may also have a younger brother along with him that will attend the school.
@Denny
Hello. First off I'm sorry if I should have mentioned my interest in the Interest Check. I'm pretty interested in joining although I haven't played Harvest Moon games that much. I'm thinking of perhaps playing an inkeeper and maybe even some staff if that's okay.
Viranti

The room was settling down, and although the church staff were tidying up (with even a few of the warriors pitching in) and generally resuming their business, Viranti could tell he had went a measure too far. But at the same time, he had difficulty imagining the situation resolving in any other way. He didn't rot in prison for decades, get abducted just when his freedom was in sight and be dragged into some absurd conflict just to be harassed by some soulless machine. Everyone else didn't seem to want to confront him though, which wasn't what he expected, but he'd take it. He pondered over what the Oracle said. It didn't sound like he had much of a choice if a pointless death was to be avoided. The thought of deities having such a hold on his or anyone's life disgusted him.

In the end, he figured that if he had already been away from his people this long, however long this quest was wouldn't make a huge difference. And by the time he gets back home, he could say he defeated gods. They'll be amazed possibly, after he tries to explain what they are of course. The dragonute didn't care about being a hero, but this quest sounded like a formidable challenge.

"Very well, Oracle. What must we do first?" He cautiously broke away from the wall and, after seeing that the pews weren't suited for him, decided to stand closer to the group, arms still crossed. His sense of smell was returning to him, the perfume finally clearing out of his nostrils. The old man that greeted him stank of blood, and about two others smelled odd. Overall, the rush of scents was a fair shock to the senses, that he rode through as subtly as he could. Still, it didn't help his headache in the slightest, so he had to keep some distance.
I doubt I have all that much to add at this point, but if we're still waiting by tomorrow, I guess I'll post something then.
@KatherinWinter
James and Cecilia have made it to shore. No one else yet I believe.
@Noodles
Thanks. Sorry for the wait by the way.
@Noodles
Hmm... Yeah kinda. I would think that it would do slightly more damage over time than poison, but for not nearly as long.
Varen
@Noodles
Varen growled angrily as he looked back after hearing Athel and Isamu abandon Willow and try and join in the fight, their prisoner going free. At this point, as far as he was concerned, those two, provided they were still alive by the end of this, better have hoped he wasn't or at the very least "all killed out". Had he known that this would have happened, he would have lopped off Akemi's legs and demanded the others drag her back to the tower. Now he had provoked some idiots to get themselves killed... so mixed feelings, all things considered.

Still, he didn't have time to think about what he simply couldn't change now as Ares sent a silencing blast his way, the spearman diving out of the way, quickly getting back on his feet to find that Athel had been hit, soon clashing with Willow who showed up to harass her under her skill of Dark Sight. Isamu advanced to provide assistance, but was then intercepted by a <<Laughing Coffin>> Lieutenant, leaving Varen spoiled for choice as to whom he should assist first, provided said Lieutenant didn't also bring his team along, in which case the red head knew exactly what he needed to do.

Guess it's now or never... Varen thought, calmly unequipping his weapon and opening a window to navigate through his gear, a particular set in mind. In a matter of a few seconds his armor shifted into a new set, his spear following suit and switching into a bladed spear with a fluffy, brightly colored charm on it. His new armor was more elaborately designed than his Medium Hunter Armor. It was by a considerable margin, the strongest gear he had and he was eager to put them to use. If left unhindered, he would brandish his new spear and head for Akemi and the Warchief, reasoning above all else that if she should fall and the leader left unhindered, then no one is getting back alive no matter what happens with the others. His reach was slightly shorter than before, but Varen would try and work in tandem with Akemi, seizing an opportunity to unleash a series of rapid strikes totaling four across Ares' left side as Akemi was meeting his sword on the leader's right.
Hey again. I was wondering about Veran perhaps unveiling a new armor/weapon set for my post. I have them under Equip Set 2 and under it I've proposed a new skill. I like them, but if you think that now isn't the time for something like this then I'll understand and rewrite the post. I'm sorry for being so presumptuous. Just wanted to let you know.

Equipment
Flame Daybreak Spear: A deceptively simple weapon suited for either one or two handed use and, although yet to be fully upgraded, is capable of igniting its blade for added fiery damage. It is most effectively used with quick, successive slicing attacks in mind.

Sunset Emissary Armor: Advanced armor of exceptional protective potential and dark elemental resistance. There is a 15% chance per hit received of imparting the Darkness status effect that decreases the attacker's accuracy, making successful hits less likely.

Skill
Day Breaker: A special spear art granted by the Flame Daybreak Spear entailing a wide flaming attack that can either cause the status effect of fire or carries the chance to significantly damage the target's armor and weaponry, decreasing said equipment's effectiveness or even breaking them apart after enough successful hits by this skill.
