Physical Info
Appearance:Marcus is often more relaxed in his manner, not overly mindful of his appearance and pretty much the free spirit of the family. At 5’7, he has short and messy blond hair that he jokes is more ruly than that of his brothers and yellow eyes. He has a moderate amount of muscle, especially in his arms that’s only going to increase as he continues his carpentry work. He very often has his acoustic guitar over his shoulder to pass any down time and a friendly smile on his face that doesn’t fade very often no matter what situation he finds himself in.
Attire/Style:Not professing to have a great sense of style, Marcus usually can’t be bothered to show a great deal of effort in what he wears. Through the years, he had often elected to receive Apollo’s hand-me-downs, a few articles of which have even made it to his current assortment now. Generally, throughout every season he’s in, his attire tends to be simple and, if he has his way, would be so even during special or distinguished events. He even has a pair of earrings that he likes to wear around the helix parts of his ears.
Mental Info
Personality:Marcus is the the most outgoing of the family, finding making connection with others to come easier to him. In some ways he can be considered a happy-go-lucky sort of person, almost always acting in a happily unbothered way and commonly up to have some fun, sometimes even when he is in the middle of something. Despite this, when on the job, he is always mindful of what he needs to do and what it takes to do it, meaning he won’t waste time for very long. Marcus is a bit of an idealist and looks at most things through a lens of feeling and empathy. However gregarious, it isn’t like he’s the center of attention all the time and will occasionally seek a secluded place to recharge and perhaps play his guitar.

History:Born six years after his eldest brother Apollo, Marcus is the middle child of the Nils family. He was quite energetic as a child, a sort of childlike rambunctiousness that his biological parents often sought to lightly curb. One notable method of which being to introduce him to the acoustic guitar. It made for frequent practice sessions that “disturbed” the otherwise quiet home, but it was reasoned that it was better than the alternative antics he could have gotten himself into.
The accident that killed his parents and injured his brother was especially hard for him, yet he never neglected to visit Apollo whenever possible to keep him company at the hospital, making it a point to be brave around him. Even as Marcus attended high school, student and faculty alike couldn’t have possibly known that such an event took place, the young man not betraying anything beyond his personable attitude and demeanor.
Living in the lavish Lazzari estate, Marcus was afforded an expansive new world at which to explore and admire, the architecture itself as something that has really stuck with him over the years. When he wasn’t cleaning and seeing to his chores, he was having surveying the marvel of a mansion, if not for insight as to its construction, then for a nice spot to play his guitar, to the enjoyment of his family, Raffaello and Caterina included.
Marcus was always mindful of his own quality of life in relation to the poorer and disadvantaged, and although he didn’t think he alone could make a difference in the world, he wanted to do his part to improve the lives of others. And in the field of carpentry, he believed he could do just that, one home at a time. Upon completing high school, Marcus devoted much of his time to his pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship, honing his skills over four years and even earning plenty of on the job experience that his adoptive father was more than happy to facilitate through a few of his businesses’ construction sites.
Staying home to finish his training program while his brothers first left for Hope Valley, it was during the last week or so that he too was contacted by the Harvest Goddess, the chance to use his newly acquired skills to help out an entire town of people sounding like a dream come true. Mailing ahead, he let Apollo and Roland know he would be coming near the start of the new year.
