Current Despite what Joker 2 would have you believe, the REAL Joker works for Nintendo. Check mate, Batman!

Okay but like seriously though, let's not tell Nintendo about this... About what, you ask? Exactly!

Some games make you feel like a hero, and others make you feel like you're playing a tree in the school play.

Alright fine. I could have images for my projects hosted on-site, but you gotta promise me you won't go snooping in there. There might be spoilers, y'know?

Greetings visitor! I hope you're having a good day! Whether you've seen me around the guild or not, I should admit that it's only been within year-6 of my time on this site that I've bothered to start work on this here "bio". I feel like I should apologize for not making it a higher priority much sooner, but lately I've adopted that "better late than never" mindset when it comes to introductions, and besides, I doubt there was much to tell in my early years anyway. I'm pretty much an amateur writer who got my start as a minor tag-along player in a fandom AU campaign ran by a small, close-nit remnant of a community formerly in association with a notable strategy-gaming youtuber. I'm being vague for brevity's sake. In the end, I value my first exposure to roleplaying as a personal learning experience more than anything, as I'm definitely the kind of person that sequesters themselves in any given community they find themselves in and RPG is certainly no exception.

That pretty much explains what I've been up to for the last several or so years, with only occasional public posts from me, as private 1x1 roleplays are easily where the lion's share of my attention goes to. Details regarding my particular interests and even approach as a prospective partner can be found in the interest check I update very rarely, but if you'd like to have a link to it or want to work with me in a similar capacity, then PMs are the best way to reach me. As for what you can expect in very broad terms, I'll say that I'm a 90s kid who'd grown up on Nintendo and Cartoon Network where, thanks to Toonami, I've developed an appreciation for the Japanese style of animation, a style that commonly influences my own creative endeavors to this day. That is in no way to say that I'm an avid watcher of anime and the like (I have my tastes and while that does sometimes coincide with what's current, it usually doesn't), just that I gravitate toward the ludicrous, extraordinary concepts and settings they commonly facilitate. That style aligns with what excites me creatively. That's the long and short of it. Exceptions do exist of course.

I was wondering those things too. As of now though, I guess I'll start it off. It's not a problem really.
@KatherinWinter
I guess I could start the story, as long as no one minds the double post. I'll post something in a bit.

Cecilia felt awful for what looked a lot like ditching James. At the same time, she needed some time to get her head together so she could actually talk to him on his level instead of whatever that was on her part back there. On top of that, the counselors had introduced the next activity for everyone: essentially storytelling by way of a group relay system. It sounded like the first participant had a lot of influence on how the story shapes out and she wasn't taking it lightly. She would rush to think of something soon, but kind of hoped that someone would start it off as she was very much preoccupied. The approaching evening air felt cold against her skin, making her rub her upper arms as she stared pensively at the fire. She had no idea what to say to James, but knew she couldn't just stall forever.
@Denny
Alright that should so it for now. I imagine that if I wanted your verdict before posting today, then I should have finished this earlier, so sorry about that. I'll get a post up soon though.
@LiegeLord
Cecilia remained silent for a time, feeling that anything she'd say would just dig her deeper into the hole she was in. Perhaps she just wasn't of the right mind to talk about it. Perhaps she just wasn't mature enough to talk about it without making James feel sorry for her. James must have had to grow up quickly to survive in the real world, this camp being his and Neric's latest stop. She on the other hand had been sheltered most of her life. If she couldn't handle what must come as second nature to him, then maybe it would save both of them a lot of trouble if she didn't spoil his time at camp for him. She knew for a fact that she held out her hand to help him out of the canoe and she'd do it again, because she wanted to. Once they reached the fire pit, Cecilia made sure James sat down first and came up behind him and gently placed his jacket over his shoulders, her hands lingering for a second. "Thanks again, James. I'll make it up to you sometime..." she said calmly and fairly wistfully before intending to take a seat herself a few feet away.
@Denny
I'm going to start on a small CS for Marcus. I'm thinking of having him be one of the carpenter's journeymen and be a new arrival as well. Is that okay? At any case, I'll hopefully have both that and the first post done by Monday.
@LiegeLord
Cecilia giggled a little as he pushed his arm against hers, her other hand brushing some of her hair aside, all the while making sure not to move too much so as to accidentally drop the jacket that was on her shoulders. "Of course I want to sit next to you, James. I still need to return your jacket when we're by the fire, remember?" she quipped with a minutely awkward grin, knowing that she'd want to sit next to him even if it wasn't for their agreement. When following James, she held both ends of the jacket over her, well on her way to being dry, but still really self conscious at the moment. "Oh?... W-Well you don't have to be sorry... I... don't really mind it..." she daintily blurted in a bit of a hurry to respond. She wouldn't exactly call her reactions then and to an extent now "discomfort" exactly. In fact, it felt really nice, although she in turn wouldn't want to do something that made him uneasy.
Viranti

Viranti made his way out of the church in a bit of a hurry, eager to breathe in the relatively clear air. It wasn't as though he was completely clear as regards their mission, their first stop at Agni or these hero stones guarded by so called "Mecha Gods". But as he saw it, such matters may not be so important for he himself to grasp currently and, right this minute, he couldn't see himself as neither capable of sticking around the church to listen nor of grasping all of this through more explanation. Some things would have to be seen to be believed. What seemed a more pressing matter was finding shelter for the night, or at least a defensible location to wait until morning.

There was little doubt in his mind that the other warriors that accompanied the Oracle would know what to do in a place like this, even the armored giant of a being with horns seemed to know what he was doing, probing around the church in search of something. Viranti's growling stomach focused his mind on what he needed to do first, him reasoning that if he could survive the Tear, he could get through this. His fairly acute sense of smell returning to him, he cautiously began to walk into the village, following the scent of food. He wasn't allowed a substantial meal for a very long time, so the more food he'd find, the more likely he'd be at maximum strength by tomorrow.
@LiegeLord
A part of Cecilia wanted to try and go into detail over how she could have done better and how James had done an excellent job as the front rower, but seeing him even as slightly flustered as he was caused the subject to slip her mind, her cheeks blushing a tad as she looked out to see Neric emerge out of the lake and return to James' wound. All that while, she watched James without his jacket, primarily hoping the fire gets set soon. She had an idea of what she could do to help him get warm should it take much longer, but the more she thought about it, the more embarrassed she felt. Fortunately, everyone appeared to have finished with their canoeing and was getting ready for a new activity to perhaps end the day on. She smiled back at James as he held out his hand to her. "Y-Yeah," she agreed shyly as her hand delicately rose from under the jacket and met his. Rising to her feet, she nodded appreciatively at him. "Thanks. Let's get good seats okay?"
