Current Despite what Joker 2 would have you believe, the REAL Joker works for Nintendo. Check mate, Batman!

Okay but like seriously though, let's not tell Nintendo about this... About what, you ask? Exactly!

Some games make you feel like a hero, and others make you feel like you're playing a tree in the school play.

Alright fine. I could have images for my projects hosted on-site, but you gotta promise me you won't go snooping in there. There might be spoilers, y'know?

Greetings visitor! I hope you're having a good day! Whether you've seen me around the guild or not, I should admit that it's only been within year-6 of my time on this site that I've bothered to start work on this here "bio". I feel like I should apologize for not making it a higher priority much sooner, but lately I've adopted that "better late than never" mindset when it comes to introductions, and besides, I doubt there was much to tell in my early years anyway. I'm pretty much an amateur writer who got my start as a minor tag-along player in a fandom AU campaign ran by a small, close-nit remnant of a community formerly in association with a notable strategy-gaming youtuber. I'm being vague for brevity's sake. In the end, I value my first exposure to roleplaying as a personal learning experience more than anything, as I'm definitely the kind of person that sequesters themselves in any given community they find themselves in and RPG is certainly no exception.

That pretty much explains what I've been up to for the last several or so years, with only occasional public posts from me, as private 1x1 roleplays are easily where the lion's share of my attention goes to. Details regarding my particular interests and even approach as a prospective partner can be found in the interest check I update very rarely, but if you'd like to have a link to it or want to work with me in a similar capacity, then PMs are the best way to reach me. As for what you can expect in very broad terms, I'll say that I'm a 90s kid who'd grown up on Nintendo and Cartoon Network where, thanks to Toonami, I've developed an appreciation for the Japanese style of animation, a style that commonly influences my own creative endeavors to this day. That is in no way to say that I'm an avid watcher of anime and the like (I have my tastes and while that does sometimes coincide with what's current, it usually doesn't), just that I gravitate toward the ludicrous, extraordinary concepts and settings they commonly facilitate. That style aligns with what excites me creatively. That's the long and short of it. Exceptions do exist of course.

I believe I have enough of the CS done for now, to hopefully post in the tab at least. :)

Cecilia smiled affectionately at James. She was touched by his sentiment, a little curious as to the oddly specific scenario he mentioned, but mostly very touched. "Th-thanks James. But if anything happened to you... well... just promise me you won't do anything reckless okay. I'll do my best not to make you worry," she said, trying to lighten the mood, not wanting the two of them to dwell on worst case scenarios all the way to the climb. Her other hand moved to the other side of his while they walked to get their gear, herself facing him as they went. "You know... I was wondering: what's your favorite food to eat?" she asked sweetly. She could have mentioned that she was considering cooking something for him, but wasn't sure if he would purposely say something simple if she did. It was an out-of-the-blue question anyway, so he possibly could have told that she was up to something.
@KatherinWinter@LiegeLord
Sorry for the delay, guys. I'll get on something soon.
@LiegeLord
Cecilia took a slight amount of comfort from Neric, her hand coming over and resting on the back of her neck, her elbow dangling downward. "Whew, that's good. I don't know about James, but I can use all the help I can get," she said as lightly as she could to the Void, but they could probably tell from her face that she was still fairly nervous and she had a good feeling she would probably stay that way until the climb was well behind her. "Well... we should get our safety gear. Maybe we'll feel a lot better while having it on(?), heh, heh..." she mentioned, trying to sound less anxious than she actually was, but she wasn't at all convincing. Cecilia stood from her seat, and if she was the first to do so, she'd hold her hand to James to get him out of his seat. There'd be little point in doing so, she'd admit, but her mind was understandably somewhere else and he needn't take her hand if he didn't want to. She'd go on with James and Neric to the rack that had sets of gear for both of them.
Awesome!
@LiegeLord
"Oh, well, maybe you're right..." Cecilia blushed mildly, when she felt James' hand. Upon noting how good it felt, she also thought of how good Neric must be feeling with all the attention. She didn't want the Void to feel left out, and so told herself that she'd have her time with James later on. Somehow, she was sure he wouldn't mind. Along with everyone else, she then looked to the counselors as they revealed what they'll be doing, her hand freezing over Neric, her mind already visualizing the whole thing. "... Or maybe not..." she nervously spoke, her hand closing and pulled closer to her in an apprehensive posture. She looked down at her four legged friend and then at James somewhat anxiously, just dreading the how stressed she was going to get, let alone the activity itself.
Viranti

The dragon sported a considerably incredulous look on his face, with the occasional head scratch here and there. Is he speaking in a different tongue?... No... I believe I can... wait... did he just call me a "normie"?!... As time went on, his confusion faded somewhat, context especially helping him to understand that this green giant is a normal "ork" who's not going to eat him nor does he have ties to Lucius, which was especially intriguing since he'd assumed everyone but him knew about the God of Light. He was also mildly unclear as to what "loot" was, but it sounded like something valuable, perchance even edible. "In truth, I haven't seen another of your kind, ork. Perhaps we'll face one in..."

Before he could continue, he heard the Oracle's servants talk amidst themselves, although he wasn't sure about what. He then turned his attention to their master, who did the party the courtesy of describing the origin and function of the gateway before them as well as structures like it before giving some succinct details about Agni and their first objective: important information that Viranti would have been an improbably careless simpleton to ignore... Anyway, as soon as she had finished with "...we should get going now," Viranti eyed the supernatural passage before starting off at a fair pace that escalated into a full sprint and dive into the portal, partly due to him not knowing any better, partly due to him deciding to face this unfamiliar and daunting "challenge" head on. Whatever the reason for his pointless stunt, he'd probably arrive on the other side either in a faceplant, ending up on his back, or even crashing into something headfirst. Either way, at least there wasn't anyone in front of him, hopefully.

@EmzyOfNeverland
Okay then. Just wondering, but what will happen if VNLA doesn't find the "N" member in time? I'm rather curious.
@KatherinWinter
As are James and Cecilia.
Also, I don't know whether or not the interest check should be updated about the open slot in VNLA, I was thinking of doing it myself, but I should probably hold off on that.
