Current The only thing I love more than the protracted development of passion projects, is NOT getting other people's money involved.

Despite what Joker 2 would have you believe, the REAL Joker works for Nintendo. Check mate, Batman!

Okay but like seriously though, let's not tell Nintendo about this... About what, you ask? Exactly!

Greetings visitor! I hope you're having a good day! Whether you've seen me around the guild or not, I should admit that it's only been within year-6 of my time on this site that I've bothered to start work on this here "bio". I feel like I should apologize for not making it a higher priority much sooner, but lately I've adopted that "better late than never" mindset when it comes to introductions, and besides, I doubt there was much to tell in my early years anyway. I'm pretty much an amateur writer who got my start as a minor tag-along player in a fandom AU campaign ran by a small, close-nit remnant of a community formerly in association with a notable strategy-gaming youtuber. I'm being vague for brevity's sake. In the end, I value my first exposure to roleplaying as a personal learning experience more than anything, as I'm definitely the kind of person that sequesters themselves in any given community they find themselves in and RPG is certainly no exception.

That pretty much explains what I've been up to for the last several or so years, with only occasional public posts from me, as private 1x1 roleplays are easily where the lion's share of my attention goes to. Details regarding my particular interests and even approach as a prospective partner can be found in the interest check I update very rarely, but if you'd like to have a link to it or want to work with me in a similar capacity, then PMs are the best way to reach me. As for what you can expect in very broad terms, I'll say that I'm a 90s kid who'd grown up on Nintendo and Cartoon Network where, thanks to Toonami, I've developed an appreciation for the Japanese style of animation, a style that commonly influences my own creative endeavors to this day. That is in no way to say that I'm an avid watcher of anime and the like (I have my tastes and while that does sometimes coincide with what's current, it usually doesn't), just that I gravitate toward the ludicrous, extraordinary concepts and settings they commonly facilitate. That style aligns with what excites me creatively. That's the long and short of it. Exceptions do exist of course.

I don't know exactly what class I should commit to, but two front runners are thief and priest. Priests seem kinda tricky to me however because I believe they are support only which may stunt they're growth. Furthermore - a mercenary priest?

Maybe a good alternative could be a troubadour, especially if they can use swords in this game.
I haven't played a Fire Emblem game, but I believe I understand the basics and am willing to learn what it takes. I would like to call your bluff and say I'm interested.
If the GM doesn't respond within an extended period of time, probably clear to say that they won't be making it unless he says otherwise.

If not, perhaps someone could take the idea and use it to make a similar RP themselves.

Huh. Well I'd feel off making such a choice so soon, yet at the same time if someone were to wait too long before doing so, then they'd risk letting interest fall off. Then again, anyone who ditches was probably going to anyway...

At any rate, I'll just keep an eye out to see what happens.

Edit
I didn't want to post again on here because why bother subscribers with posts other than those of the originator. So an edit to a previous one will do. It was a long shot that RC would have pulled through and even if they did, I don't rightly care for the precedent they're setting with leaving for days at a time. Test or no, if this is how they're going to operate now, then I don't even want to think about weeks down the road when I actually have more invested in this. I thought of waiting for the New Year before backing out, but I think the loss of another distraction will do me good. Good luck whoever reads this, especially those heading off to that Final Fantasy RP reboot. I just recently heard of that FF XV fiasco so I reckon fans need something to look forward to. Later guys. :)
We can do that?! (Not volunteering, just surprised)
I'll just go ahead and say I'm leaning towards a human alchemist, adventurer, con-man in training (but willing to take to legitimate guild work if he has to). It would be nice to get the sense of how ludicrous concoctions can be, but I'm willing to wait before sorting that out.
This seemed like the best place for me to say this, and I'm really sorry for the ridiculous and/or obvious thing and also if someone already pointed this out. Needless to say, I feel like a total dunce. But since I came to the site, being the stooge that I am, I always found it irksome when making character sheets whenever I'd use an image and it'd be ridiculously huge, impractically so. I'd resort to some really annoying lengths to find a way to shrink them down to size, at least when I compare them to what I just found out.

Turns out you could just pile on the indent commands until an image shrinks to the size you want. It all scales down. I'm really happy all things considered. Sorry for the stupid post out of nowhere. I think I'll excuse myself and ride this high for a little while.
I feel stupid.
@RC3 I might be interested as well. I'll have to see how my schedule holds up. I'm not sure what position or race to go with for now, so will probably get back to you on that.

Edit: Maybe a human alchemist, a maker of potions, if nothing else.
Bump
Why not do both, and have him be a BLCK operative working on secondment with the EDF? He could be a 'civilian' liaison from the EPA working with the military to help joint operations between the police's elite Unit BLCK and the EDF, with the ability to advise the EDF when to deploy their forces in areas where the EPA traditional hold juridiction.

Or the reverse, with him representing the EDF within Unit BLCK? Perhaps as a military training officer there to help prepare the elite unit for heavy actions? Or just the flipside of my previous suggestion, the military liaison co-ordinating joint operations in EPA territory?

Another possibility would be that he was Military Police/Internal Affairs (which could have been conceded to the EPA and Unit BLCK due to corporate restructuring), with the authority to press charges against any EDF personnel who he felt was acting against the best interested of EuroCorp Europa.

Wow, those are some very intriguing options. I'll definitely consider these suggestions when I give get down to writing his backstory later on. Our character's exact position within these factions are pretty much up to us, something I wouldn't have given much thought to otherwise. Thanks.
