I have a searing headache. I was going to write today but that's not going to happen.I'm going to try to get it done tomorrow.
Whew. That took long enough. Kijani says 'fuck this shit I'm out'.

Kijani scoffed under her breath. Her instincts had been right, as usual. That “America” girl was not to be trusted. Even if she wasn’t an enemy, this was still her fault! And then she had the sheer audacity to think she could beat this Beyonder. If he had numbers enough to cross the universe, what kind of fool would try to take him on solo? Even as she listened, some of the other teens were teaming up. Idiots, the lot of them. They were on their own.

Kijani did not waste her breath with a goodbye, or even a quip. As soon as she felt her strength returning, she quickly dumped the heavy winter coat she was wearing. Then she pulled her sword free from the scabbard, eyes darting around for the nearest and clearest escape route. There was nothing around, so she started running. She hid her speed, mostly because she wanted to save it for an emergency. (Also, she didn’t want to look a poser around a real Speedster.)

She kept her gaze sweeping as she headed through the ship. Flashing lights, lots of metal – and one of those strange kidnapping robots headed in her direction. Taking a split second to quell the fear in her stomach, she put the sword away and picked up speed.

“Candidate detected. Moving to intercept.”

“Intercept this, tin can.” Kijani fell into a forward flip, her lean legs swinging upward. She hooked the robot around the head and used her momentum to swing herself right around. Then she used its back like a springboard, propelling herself forward. She landed in a loose tumble, righted, and started running for real.
Yo!
sorry for the delay in posting. I meant to write this week but work has been crushing me. I'll try again on Friday.
Alright, there we go! ^^ I'll put a header on it tomorrow.
Meanwhile, in Hesperus City:

Out in the ruins of a forgotten ancient kingdom, a fierce battle took place. A young man with a Sliggoo battled fiercely against an older woman with a Snubbull. The young man was on the ropes – it was clear he and Sliggoo were not getting along. The gooey jelly-like Pokemon had disobeyed him twice now.

“Alright, let’s put a pretty bow on this match Snubsie! Dazzling Gleam!” The blonde haired woman issued a command to her precious baby. The Pokemon in battle let out a happy little roar before letting loose, a brilliant pink sparkling light filling the area.

“Sliggoo, use Flail! Er, dodge it! Do SOMEthing!” The young man stamped his foot in frustration, kicking up a cloud of dust. His Pokemon, probably confused at the multiple commands, ran back and forth in panic until the light hit it. Once the Gleam cleared, it was unconscious.

“Aw, looks like your baby is unable to battle, sweetheart. This match is mine.” The woman spoke up. “Come back to Mama, Snubsie!” She lifted her very well-decorated Pokeball and beamed the pink victor inside. Then she approached the young man. “Not a bad battle. But I think you and your Sliggoo will need to bond better before you can take on any more Overseers. You’ll need to temper it’s strong nature with a guiding hand. Got it?”

She patted his shoulder in a motherly way. “Now, go get to the Pokemon center so you can get everyone rested. Including yourself.”

The young man sighed but nodded, not wanting to be a poor loser. “Yes ma’am. Thank you.” As he too, beamed his Pokemon back home. He trudged away, back toward Hesperus.

As her challenger departed, the older woman sighed. As much as she loved winning, she hated crushing the dreams of the young. It got a little harder every day.

Her phone started to ring with a cheery tune. “Norah Kingsley here!” Her voice showed no hint of the exhaustion she felt.
Give me some time to rest and I'll try to drum up a post
Kijani’s eyes rounded as Naboo and the Death Star came into view at the same time. It seemed her instincts were right. This had the chance to go extremely badly. Visions of her shattered planet plagued her mind.

As soon as the comms were clear, she looked to Eskel and Adam both. “Eskel, please tell me there’s some hiding places in this ship. Adam, find Master Yoda and tell him of the situation. I’m going to have to play future Queen, so I apologize for the next several minutes in advance.” She squared her shoulders, took a deep breath, and summoned every ounce of nobility that was in her blood before taking the comms.

“This is Kijani Organa, future Queen of Naboo. Is this truly necessary? There’s a wedding to be planned, and I refuse to have any delays. Do you understand? I don’t want your dirty soldier boots scuffing up my fiance’s ship!” Her voice came out sharp as a whip over the intercom, the kind of voice used to being obeyed. The sort of voice that said ‘you are lesser than I, and should be grateful to be in the same room’.

Truthfully, even as a child, she’d never been much of a snot. If she could escape from lessons, she did. She was constantly slipping her minders and climbing trees, running around like ‘a little hellion’ as her mother was fond of saying. The other noble children thought she was very strange indeed. But time and school had taught her how to pull rank if necessary. Sure, she was wielding her title like a bludgeon, but she had to control the situation.

Woo! Now we're rolling!
