Every 1-1.5 weeks give or take, with holiday weeks likely skipped so no one has to worry about any replies and can focus on enjoying the holidays.

So current plan is to likely get the thread up sometime this upcoming week, kick things off and see if it draws in a little more attention. Should be up no later then Thursday at the latest, in the mean time I was wondering if any of you would be interested in a potential discord group for the thread, or if you’d prefer to keep to just the OOC section of the thread when it opens, I’m entirely fine with either option, but wanted to see if their is a preference for one or the other.@Dragonfly 9@Lugubrious@Emeth

Oh, fuck, I forgot to do the Attributes! I don't really know how to do them(I didn't really get that part of the beginning post), tho, so I'll just ask for Nakushita when she's awake. :'D

You have 10 points to distribute amongst them however you like. Each single point is equal to 10 in that attribute, you will gain more as the story progresses of course.

As far as the character sheets, they both look good and I don't see any further changes needed to the areas of importance. @Lugubrious@Dragonfly 9

Also, I hope to find at least two more people before we kick things off, the initial start will be pretty straight forward, all player characters will be grouped together for the first time, given some time to know each other, etc, before we head into the first stage and weapon location. So you may plan accordingly from that standpoint.

For those that are interested, Character Sheet is now posted, I have also updated other areas of the opening post, covering the different disciplines of magic available as well as what each attribute is useful for. When the RP starts, I will give out points for you to distribute amongst the attributes, for now they need not be worried about for the time being when it comes to developing a CS. If any of you have any questions about anything or need any clarification you may ask away and I'd be more then happy to help.

Ayana kept up her efforts even if it felt like it was hopeless. The golden liquid seemed to flow right around the cloth like it wasn’t even there. Sapphire eyes wide in surprise as she turned her gaze towards Shun as she was caught off guard by what she had just witnessed. Having watched in utter silence, as she couldn’t believe what she had seen. Not only had Shun stuck her finger into his wound, but she had tasted it. “Shun….?” was all that Ayana could muster up in her stupor, not knowing why Shun had done so.

Stunned when Duncan pushed her aside in his current condition seconds later. Ayana was left to look at the cloth she had just been using to try to clot his golden blood. Much to her surprise there wasn’t a drop of it anywhere on it. Only her hands remained covered in the golden liquid as she turned them over. Stretching out her fingers as she turned them over in slight confusion. Not being able to comprehend it all at once.

What came next confused her even more, Duncan had knelled over Sasuke and was dumping his golden blood into his mouth. It was surreal, there was no way Duncan should even be able to move, his pain should be immeasurable. But her mind couldn’t just focus on that fact alone, not only did Shun seem to have lost her mind, but Duncan as well.

Remaining on her sprawled out legs on the ground, she watched in a stunned silence as Duncan fed his blood to Sasuke. What words could she say, what actions could she take. It was like she found herself in some dream. There was no way to explain any of it.

At first it looked like it might be having some positive effect. Shortly replaced by the horrible consequences of their actions. Sapphire eyes widened in horror as she could do nothing more than watch Sasuke’s twisting and writhing form. The color of his skin, the convulsing, bones and joints cracking and grinding. Thick putrid black blood flowing from every orifice. It wasn’t a sight that would ever leave her mind.

She was left speechless, everything had happened so quickly, before she had time to even understand it all. To even say anything, or react, it had all happened and she had been frozen in place. She couldn’t take her eyes off of Sasuke’s form, wide eyes unwavering. She instinctively reached up one of her golden soaked hands to her cheek. Only to look down at it, realizing she had tears streaming down her face.

Were they tears of fear? Of sadness? She did not know, she felt empty, she felt like she was in a daze, one that didn’t seem to shake free from her mind. It was then and only then did it feel like something snapped in her mind. Something she had forgotten slowly trickled in as if a clarity had suddenly come over her. She understood something now, something about herself she had put away in her mind long ago. She went by a different name once, a different title, one she had intentionally thrown aside.

But why was she remembering this now of all times? What good would it do her at this moment? Before she could realize what she was doing, her hand had slowly reached over and grabbed a nearby rock. She stared at it as didn’t understand her actions, it was like her body had instinctively reached for it. She clasped it tightly in her hand with gritted teeth before tucking it away within her clothing. She felt like it was important, like she needed to have it and keep it. Not understanding why a random rock held such importance.

It was then and only then did she slowly rise to her feet as she pulled her left hand up towards her face. Staring at the remnants of the golden blood, why had it done such horrible things to Sasuke but not Shun? Why was Duncan still alive and able to move so freely? There was more to this, closing her eyes she began to bring the palm of her hand towards her mouth.

Without hesitation she gave it a small lick, a slight jolt trickling through her body, she understood. But why could she understand, why should she understand. Her mind felt so clear, her body so light, the activities around her no longer within her realm of notice.

Hearing the sound of returning voices, she turned her head towards the source of them. A slight scowl quickly formed across her face. The words from Tokinomiya and Takamori drew her ire immediately, feeling like they were gravely unjust. The anger and rage quickly begun to boil inside of her. Feeling insulted and challenged by the two. Unable to hold her own tongue as she quickly snapped back with a claim of her own.

“Maybe if you did a better job defending the line, then the enemy would have never been able to infiltrate it in the first place, you are lucky Lunatea was back here as well, it cuts two ways you know…” Having venom in her voice. Having already been put in a foul mood from her battle with the war dogs and their handler. She didn’t feel the need to be lectured, especially not after both her and Lunatea had ensured the safety of the refugees. Having put thier own lives on the line and done everything they could have to ensure the war-dogs did not rip apart the helpless refugees.

Her eyes were sharp and full of annoyance as her piercing gaze shifted to Ayu now. Hearing her much more understanding words as it helped to ease Yuki’s mood. It had taken all of her remaining self control to keep her from saying anything more. Having a tendency to be more aggressive and hostile when she transformed. Her usual mood being quite cheerful and playful, but once she transformed and got into the heat of battle she let loose everything she had.

“Thank you Ayu…. that is appreciated, it wasn’t easy having to protect the refugees from so many of them at the same time, I feel pretty lucky that Lunatea and the sorcerer had been here as well, I don’t know if I would have been able to protect all the refugees without any of them being killed or otherwise injured” Glancing towards the wererabbit and giving her a nod of appreciation. Feeling quite thankful for her very useful help, having not met or done anything alongside Lunatea until now. It was starting to feel like she was slowly but surely meeting all the members of the taskforce bit by bit and coming to understand them with each passing day.

As the heat of battle alleviated, and Ayu’s comments helped to quell her temper, she slowly but surely returned to her regular form. Her horns shortening, and her claws retracting as she let out a big sigh. Stretching her shoulders for a moment as she took a short look around wondering what the next course of action was to be.

Yea, when I originally posted, it had not been fully fleshed out and I didn't mean to submit it yet as I had still been working on formatting and adding details. Since then I've went through and added more stuff for the sake of clarification, as well as adding more important details that I felt would fit after answering some questions. I still need to work on the Attribute section and the CS section, but I hope to have that done this week sometime, at this current rate of interest, everyone should have a fair bit of time to figure out whatever they need to figure in advance.

All of this sounds pretty awesome so far! :D

Right now, I'm deciding between:

a Robin Hood-like figure(whose former partner had joined the Denizens after said Robin Hood person turned him down romantically, and now he still wants revenge, even though he's already burned down her home town and killed her parents)

a small, anthro sand cat(look it up; it's real), who wears a plague doctor mask because they're shy and wanna hide their identity, as well as being mute and using a magitek-powered, robot crow as their "voice" and constant companion;

or

an older character- either a sapient, Ent-like tree(who's way smaller now because of lack of nutrients from the ground and the fact that their clan/family(the other trees/plants) all got killed/burned down a short while ago because of the Denizens/a fight between a Denizen and a random do-gooder) or a tall, portly clockwork robot- that joins the party because the Denizens either burned their home down(the Ent-tree-thing), or tried to use them for things they didn't really care for, and without a choice as well(the clockwork robot)!

You will have a fair bit of time to come to a final decision, I plan on working on a proper character sheet so those interested can start tinkering around with it and figure out some of the finer details, will also have to put out a explanation section for each attribute, but its shouldn't be too complicated, plan on keeping it all relatively straight forward and basic.

Not a problem, I never mind hearing out ideas or questions.

As for the idea, it is acceptable, I have no qualms with you taking that approach. I'm not particularly picky when it comes to how players decide upon their characters lore/background/etc. The only thing I would have any say about is if it interferes, or supersedes something that is established. I'd only request that whatever power this goddess has, is limited in scope, but from your description it sounds like she very well is to a good degree. So for that reason I'd be totally fine with it, if that is the route you wish to pursue. I figure in this style of world, there will be many different beliefs, some more obscure then others, so there is flexibility when it comes to that area.

I also want to leave up the motivations for why each players character joined the team against the Denizens. As it feels much more natural that not all of them are in it for the greater good aspect, which leads to natural conflict and disagreements between allies, which only seems human. So you have the green light as far as I'm concerned with how you would like to approach this character you have in mind.
