Oliver looked over the thing that had just tried to kill him. "I'm gonna see if we have anybody on whatever this alien is." And with that, he snapped a photo of Roman, and ran a reverse image search of him against what was in the S.H.I.E.L.D database. Scanning for a minute, he squinted at what he found, before widening his eyes for a minute. Connections in his brain were firing off, and he started to get an idea that shook him to his core. This thought he had was, unsettling, to say the least, and he immediately had to take precautions, even if there was the smallest chance he was right.

He started to clear any records he made in finding this information, and noticed he had tripped some kind of flag on his way in. Gritting his teeth for a minute, he sighed, that was a red flag for sure. Making a copy of the information in front of him, he ran the quick check against it, and found even more alarming things. Quickly taking action to disarm them, he huffed at seeing it had already fired off. That was concerning, but ultimately fine, he thought, as people probably wouldn't think anything of it. Quickly, he was proven very wrong.

Oliver's phone would ring once again, and this time when he answered Tony's voice was a lot louder to the point anyone near Oliver would be able to hear him, "Why the hell are you still looking at things you aren't supposed to? Didn't you learn ANYTHING from our last conversation?"

Oliver's hand trembled as the phone began to ring, steadying his breath for a moment, and answering it, only to jolt his head away from the phone. "In my defense." He started, speaking for more quickly than he normally would, "This was in a S.H.I.E.L.D database, and I had some good reason. There's a skrull in front of us, and I needed to know what we were facing."

"...That's more then a bit concerning. The Skrulls are almost completely indistinguishable from the people they have shifted into. It's almost impossible to tell the difference, some of them could even replace people higher up around the world and you wouldn't know. I kind of threatened them during our last encounter to stay the hell away from Earth."

Oliver nodded along to Tony and said, "Almost? Is there a way to tell?" He couldn't find any trace of that in the file, and that was something that he'd very much want to know. "If an agent was already replaced by a Skrull, a way to confirm that more of them aren't would be indispensable."

"You could do a DNA test to look, but some Skrulls can even replicate that."

Oliver nodded, and closed his eyes, "Got it. Thanks. Anything else, or um... can I hang up?" He asked, unsure. "I really would rather not end up in The Raft for this." He tacked on.

Oliver would be able to hear a voice in the background, "Daaaaad c'mon it's time for more shots!!"

Tony thought for a moment before responding to Oliver, "Nothing else, but final warning got it?"

"Got it. Have a nice night, um, sir."

"Now get lost and stay out of trouble!" With those parting words, Tony hung up.

Breathing a sigh of relief, he looked around at the people in front of him. "He's a Skrull, some kind of alien that can shapeshift, obviously, and that's about all we know." He said, slipping his phone back into his pocket.

Arthur was surprised for a moment by Leda, who was taking now to try to help him control his powers. He nodded weakly as Rebecca introduced herself, and meekly took the moment to shake her hand. "I'm glad you'll be able to help me." He said, looking for something similar to an appropriate response. On literally any other day, he'd be visibly eager about the opportunity, but today was a day like no other. "I'm Arthur, yes. I'm... not sure at all how to use these powers properly, so any help I can get would be appreciated." He agreed.

He didn't know much about who Hecate was, that was a goddess he didn't think he'd ever heard of. "Erm, sorry, is your mother a death deity as well?" He asked. He didn't like being ignorant, so he went straight to asking. As far as the funeral went, he weakly nodded at Leda. "Let's get on it then." Honestly, he wanted this to be over more than anything. He knew it would hurt a lot to put on the funeral, but he hoped that once they were past it, things would get better.

Okay, that was officially creepy. Four people, all in the same general area, getting the exact god damn letter, all telling them to go to the same place. This sounded unreal, and they had no idea what was actually going on. Mab shrugged. "I mean, I was either an orphan, I grew up in a really specific prison." They said sarcastically. All of them were orphans then, which wasn't a surprise, since all the letters were identical. If this was their parents way of telling them that they were a massive slut when they were Mab's age, that would honestly make more sense than most other options.

The news that Rose's shift wouldn't last too much longer though, was an objectively positive one. That was a good compromise, they considered, and it meant that they'd have a little bit of time to plan exactly how they were going to deal with this. That, and they could use a little time between getting up and confronting anything to do with their parents. That was just a lot to deal with this early in the morning, and doing this later in the afternoon would end up making them feel a little better.

Oliver watched, with a smile spreading across his face as he saw he wasn't the only hacker on the team. There was a slight hint of spite in his eyes at the notion that she might be better than him, and he just laughed it off. Him getting caught was a once in a blue moon kind of thing, and was unlikely to happen again anytime soon. "Kudos for spoofing his numbers, that was smart." He said as she walked off, making a mental note to be sure to talk to her more later.

This was cut short, however, by the sudden violence that seemed to transpire. Once the men who'd been quiet for the whole night, suddenly turned green, and almost elf like in appearance, and started trying to stab Novikova. Thinking quickly, he grabbed a bottle of vodka from the table, and gritted his teeth as he uncorked it. Running up to Roman, and splashed the alcohol right in his face. As he was distracted and trying to get it out of his eyes, Oliver went for the knife, and managed to get it out of Roman's hands, albeit getting a nasty scrape across his palm. In almost a moment of rage, Oliver clocked him over the head with the bottle, scattering glass of the floor, and making a nice new bump on the alien's head.

Elizabeth cleared her throat, "I'm not a preteen, I've been a teenager for two years." She was mildly annoyed with being written off because of her age, especially in an inaccurate way. Her displeasure, however, was quickly replaced with excitement and joy. The Iron man has just asked if he could build her a new arm, better than the glorified lego arm at her side right now for sure. "Hell yeah." She said, nodding her head enthusiastically. That sounded badass, and almost better than having a regular arm.

On the team assignments, she was also quite happy on being paired with the God of Thunder himself. It was almost like a dream came true. After all, what kid didn't fantasize about being able to help out their heroes and make an actual difference. And being paired up with a literal god made that all the better. All in all, this was shaping up to be a very, very, good day, sans the world being threatened of course. But hey, the X-men were on the case, and the Avengers if they failed, things would be alright, right?

The oddest mix of relief and total disgust was brewing inside of Arthur. On one hand, his sister was not given by name, nor was her cabin, so there was no risk of him being swarmed. On the other hand, however, was the fact that they didn't even think of her enough to honor her with her name. This didn't sit well with him at all, and if he hadn't just lost his sister, he might've taken this up with Chiron personally, but he honestly didn't have it in him right now. As Leda rested his hand on him, he steadied himself, gently removing her hand, and mumbling, "Thanks."

He was not conflicted, however, on the seething anger he suddenly felt upon finding out the details of Ash's death. The skull, that had been given to her as a gift from their father. He was, in his eyes, responsible for Ash dying, without a doubt. Whatever his godly father was thinking, whatever he was planning, he couldn't forgive something like this. Taking the life of somebody he cared about, no matter the justification, hurt him in a way that he couldn't explain. He couldn't be here right now, not in a place built around the worship of these gods. He needed to go, and it seemed he was given an option to do that. "If I can, I'll happily join the group going to this Jupiter." He announced.

Mab gave a slightly annoyed look over to WIllow, as she'd joined in on their conversation. "Yes." They said shortly, but nodded at Sierra's explanation. They frowned for a moment though, "Rose is still on her shift, don't we need to wait for you to finish up her?" They looked at their friend. They wouldn't be going without them for sure, but if Rose was down to skip work, they'd be fine with that. "As for people expecting us back, could you maybe let your boss at the bar know, and that if you're not back, to call somebody?" That seemed like the best option to them, but if Rose wasn't working tonight, they'd need to come up with something else.

In any event, they needed to finish their food, so they got to that. Not wanted to scarf it down, they ate quickly, but deliberately. As they swallowed down a gulp of tea, they wiped their mouth and said, "The sooner we can get there, the better for sure, but leaving now compared to a few hours from now isn't the end of the world, I suppose." They wanted to get there and find out what in the hell was going on, possibly more than anybody else, but they couldn't reasonably expect Rose to ditch her shift. As they finished off their food, they rested their gaze at Rose, hoping to her that she'd be able to somehow get off early.

Oliver Sullivan

Scrolling through Deadpool's Twitter, Oliver decided that one of the idea's he heard wasn't a bad one. "Let's see who your true love is..." Scanning through the text on his screen, he quickly put it together: Deadpool had become obsessed with a Spider-Man, some hero from Queens. "Well... Let's see if I can't figure out who you are, Spidey." He said, mostly to himself, as he twiddled away at his phone. "Let's see if the Avenger's have anything on them." He mumbled. Hacking the biggest superhero team on the planet might not have been the best idea, but he'd never actually get caught.

Quickly pulling up information on the hero, he soon knew exactly who he was. "Gotcha!" He grinned to himself, before his eyes started to go wide. "Come on, no no no, I can't actually be that stupid." He realized he'd tripped something in the Avenger's Servers, something that would quickly be tracing back to him. "God damn it, I'm gonna need to burn this phone now..." He frowned, exiting out, ready to snap it in half.

At that moment, Oliver's phone would start to ring, and before he even got the chance to say anything when he answered it, the voice of the one and only Tony Stark started speaking through the phone. "Okay, whoever the hell you are why the hell are you hacking into my server. Seriously, what type of idiot thinks they can get away with that and think that nothing is wrong or that oh maybe no one will notice. You son of a bitch need to learn not to mess with some people, namely me!" his voice snapped through the phone. "Not in the mood for this sort of thing right now!"

Oliver blinked for a moment as a verbal assault suddenly filled his ear drums, from a voice he'd only ever heard on television before. He knew he's messed up, but he hadn't expected a call from him. Coughing for a moment, he started, "S-sorry Mr. Iron Man, sir? I'm Oliver Sullivan, a SHIELD agent, and I had to get information that happened to be sitting on your servers for a case my team is working right now." He said. That wasn't technically a lie, of course, but it sure as hell was a misrepresentation. Hopefully, he'd take that at face value, and nothing more.

"Oh really? What the hell is the information that SHIELD would want that's on my servers? Because let me be blunt SHIELD knows better then to hack me, so how about you cut the bullshit and tell me more or less what info you just stole from me before I go look and see, and maybe I'll be a little nicer about things!"

"Spider-Man, from Youtube? We needed to know who he was, as he's become a person of interest. We're currently dealing with ah... somebody who calls themselves Deadpool? He seems to be obsessed with him, and, to be blunt, I hoped to obtain some form of contact information for him, to see if we could get him to reach out to get Deadpool to- erm- calm down, and return the assets he stole." Pausing for a moment, he then decided he was already in some deep shit, and couldn't make things worse for himself, "You wouldn't happen to have his phone number, would you?"

"You idiot why the hell would I give you that info! You people really are crazy. Never trust a SHIELD agent why do you think way back during the whole New York thing I didn't trust Fury and hacked SHIELD?" There was a slight pause in his voice, as if he was looking at something. "The stolen assets were freaking presents! Yeah, hell no to this bullshit, you basically have lied to me, hacked my servers, and thinking you can get that info from me, when that info is on a server that you shouldn't be trying to get into for a reason. So no, no phone number for you!"

Oliver winced for a moment, before saying, "Y-you make some fair points.... But... I'll send over a fix for the vulnerability that let me in in the first place if you send me that number. I'm sorry, for what it's worth, but we really need to get those back. It's Christmas." He pleaded.

Tony paused for a moment, before clearly letting out a bit of a sigh. "Don't bother sending a fix, I can do that in seconds, not to mention if you sent a fix it could easily have a trojan horse hidden where you can get back in, so not a chance. However, I'll send the number to you, and I'm going to warn him that you are calling him, but if I catch you hacking into my servers again, or anyone else from SHIELD, I assure you you are going to wish you were never born," he said, before there was the sound of a click and a moment later Oliver would get a message that included Spider-Man's phone number.

Visibly sweating after what just happened, he hung up his phone, and said with a nervous laugh. "Well... At least I get to keep my phone now." Shortly after that, his phone dinged, and he read it over quickly. "Alright... I have Spiderman's number, that seems to be Deadpool's "true love". Am I in the clear to call him and try to get him to calm Deadpool down?" He asked weakly. "By the way, please nobody hack the Avenger's anytime soon, I think Iron Man will personally kick my ass if that happens."

Surreal. That was the word. Elizabeth had been trying to come up with exactly how to describe this situation from the moment she stepped off the blackbird, and that was perfect. How else would one describe being told by the Avengers, in their home base, that they had to go up and stop the world from being devoured? It was like mortals being summoned to Mount Olympus, and then tasked to save Pompeii by Zeus himself. Now, she understood, vaguely, why the Avengers themselves couldn't stop this oncoming threat, but that didn't mean it at all made sense on an existential level. Still, she was never one to shy away from a challenge, even if it was something patently insane.

Taking a moment to find her voice, she consciously replaced the shocked look on her face with one that projected confidence, something she'd been struggling to do for awhile. "Some of us," She clarified, "Aren't even old enough to drive. But I'm not about to let that stop me." Truth be told, she was speaking without thought, still not internalizing the scope of what had been asked of them, but hell, if it meant she got to kick ass and wear an iron man suit to boot, she wasn't gonna say no. This adventure sounded like just the thing she needed right now. Sitting around and being sad hadn't gotten her very far since her accident, and this sounded like the literal opposite of that.

The moral question, on the other hand, was of very little interest to her. If this Galactus had been destroying planets for so long, maybe it was about time for somebody to punch back, That was how bullies acted; they take what the want, until somebody finally punches their nose in. The equivalent of that, in this case, would be killing the bully, of course. But again, she didn't care. This thing was threatening her, and everybody she ever knew, so whatever happened next was it's own fault. "Since it sounds like this thing would kill us without a second thought, I don't see why we care if it dies or not. We can figure out details later." She shrugged.

Arthur took not as Demetri returned, delivering some kind of message to Leda. Normally, he might try to hear what was being say, but he just didn't have it in him right now. Instead, he nodded at what had been said directly to him, that he would be able to stay in the Zeus cabin. That sounded nice, not just that he wouldn't be alone, but that he'd be with a friend. Forcing a smile for a moment, he said, "Sounds like the sort of thing that can help wake you up in the morning." He tried to sound relaxed as he said it, trying to push these horrible things that had happened behind him, at least momentarily.

Looking up in the air at the sound of the horn, he was surprised to be quickly whooshed away by Leda. Feeling his head spin for a moment, he closed his eyes. He didn't know she could move that fast, so needless to say he was caught by surprise. As they stopped, he wobbled a bit. "A- a little more warning next time please." He felt just a tad dizzy, never having gone anywhere near that fast on foot before. What this was about, he could only assume to be Ash. He felt uneasy, not ready to have everyone staring at him, as he thought they would, now being the only surviving child of Hades.
