Arthur mirrored Andy in a way, taking a step closer as well. He couldn't hear her, but he knew it was important to stay close to the people who you could trust and who you had, and that was Andy right now. He needed her more than anything, and a part of him knew that that need was reciprocated. Everything felt so terrible, but maybe things could be a little better as long as the two of them were together. Even if that meant that didn't stay at the camp forever, they could be safe and maybe even happy together.

Taking her hand again, he squeezed a little, before turning his attention to Alannah, "So she just abandoned us for no reason?" He asked, a little coldly. The sea of monsters? Bermuda triangle? Circe? These terms meant little to him, outside of having faintly heard conspiracy theories about the triangle. He didn't understand why she would just leave them. That didn't make sense in his head. They were, it seemed, at least kind of friends, and to just abandon them all seemed cold, and a little sociopathic.

Well, that was the quiet part out loud, but Niah wasn't making any sudden moves, so he assumed everything was fine. Exhaling a sigh of relief. "Well, were any of you separated at any point from the rest of the group?" He asked. If even one of them was replaced, that would still be a threat. A Skrull Doctor Strange sounded like a nightmare scenario. "I do want to apologize for coming here and practically accusing you of being one, but these are delicate times, I hope you understand." He apologized Rubbing his temples, he nodded at the Captain's suggestion.

"That's a good idea. The only problem, of course, is that America is a bit on fire right now with Hill's laws. We'll have to see if they'll corporate." Oliver honestly didn't know how Professor X actually felt about all of this, but he hoped they'd be able to put that aside to end this literal alien invasion, "The only catch, of course, is if Professor X has been replaced, he wouldn't help us. Would you be willing to come with us, should that be the case?" He asked. He knew it was a big request, but in the face of the fate of the planet, he had to think that they'd be able to get some form of help.

Elizabeth nodded at Antoinette, saying "Thanks, yeah, here." She said, giving her a roll of bandage to hold, before wrapping her leg up some more, getting her in a much better spot. Looking over to Lance, she turned her head to the side, and said, "You know Runa? How?" She felt like she was still out of the loop on things, from learning about the alternate reality, to seeing that the team seemingly knew the Asgardian girl. It was just at this moment that Elizabeth realized Klara was there. She must've ended up here when she disappeared, which made her wonder why Loki would want all of them together like this.

It was around that time Pietro was thrown against a wall, and that took up the majority of her attention. She averted her eyes from the compound fracture, and kept herself from retching at the sight. She wanted to help, but she honestly didn't know if her powers could heal well. She knew she fixed Pietro's legs before, turning stone to flesh, but she didn't think now was the time to start experimenting with flesh sculpting. Even if she could heal with that, it felt like it would definitely be on the evil side of things. Forcing out a response, she responded to Edus, "You can heal me whenever you like, I'd for sure appreciate it."

Elizabeth raised an eyebrow in the direction of Klara, before saying, "If you'd rather me be quiet on the topic of the best way to prevent the end of all things, I can do that, but putting a muzzle on any of us sounds like the way to make sure we all fail. If Runa has a problem with me, let her say it, don't fight for her." Elizabeth said, crossing her arms and sighing, "Look, I get that me being the one to say that we need to put things behind us is shitty, and it's coming from the wrong direction, but if we could at least put our animosity on hold until everyone is safe again, it would be in literally everyone's best interest."

Turning her head as Dalisy walked off, she couldn't help but admit she was the tiniest bit disappointed in her. She could be useful, as much as she might cause friction with the rest of them, but that was exactly what she was talking about. Every fracture made it more and more likely that the world would end. They needed to stand united, or they may as well not stand at all. "If we've all got something to say, let's get it out now. It's best not to let things fester. I get that I've been... difficult in the past, so please, feel free to air your grievances. We're going into a dangerous situation, we need to be able to trust one another."

Arthur turned his attention to Andy and looked away from the fleeing dragon. "I'm sorry life was that way for you. It's not fair, and it's not okay." He said, crossing his arms, and pulling his arms away from the ballista. He was looking for words, but it wss hard to find anything past childish complaining. This all hurt, a lot, and he was exhausted. "I just... I need things to not be terrible for a little while. You know?" He said, exhaling. As the portal opened, he turned to watch Rebecca disappear. A look of surprise crossed his face, wondering where she was going and why.

It felt like a goodbye, and at least this loss of a friend wasn't death. He felt bad, things were unfinished with Rebecca, and now he wouldn't get to resolve them at all. This all said, he hoped she would be alright, wherever she was. It was just him and Andy now, really, in a lot of ways. The others were kind, but it felt like everyone else he had started to get close to had disappeared, one way or another. If that happened with Andy, he honestly didn't know what he'd do, but he would do everything he could to prevent that from happening. He needed her more than anything right now.

Oliver was visibly surprised that she knew about the Illuminati, and weighed her knowledge for a moment, before continuing. "Well, not exactly." He said, not knowing much about the Kree, "I'm unsure of the reasons for why, but Skrulls have started to come to Earth. We know for a fact that multiple agents have been compromised, and we worry that they've started a kind of invasion." He explained, crossing his arms. As the water rippled, he took a step back, before Captain Britain emerged from it. Giving a smile, he nodded at him, before reintroducing himself, "Agent Sulivan, and my partner, Agent Bautista." He said.

"As we were just explaining to your sister here, it appears that the Skrulls have started appearing on Earth, and given that you and the rest of the Illuminati had first contact with them, we thought it'd be prudent to come have a chat." He explained, before giving a brief side eye to Niah, hoping she'd be paying attention to read Britain's response, "We've come to understand that you and your team were captured by the Skrulls during your encounter with them, would you mind going into detail on that, specifically with regards to your escape? I know this is sudden, and I hate to rush, but time isn't on our side at the moment." He smiled at him, in the event Britain wasn't a Skrull, any knowledge he had could be of great use and importance, so he looked forward to hearing what he had to say.

Jungle -> Blackbird Hangar
Skills: Gun arm

Red hot searing pain is what Elizabeth felt as the jaguar latched onto her leg. Wincing in pain, she acted almost instinctively, and shakely pulled her arm, and rested it on it's head. Not thinking of the terrible ways this could end, she charged the gun, and let it go off into the jaguar's skull. Looking down as her badly bleeding leg, she was glad it was still there, while the big cat was not. Clasping her hands around it, she tried to stymie the bleeding, as she felt herself being picked up, and saw the world shift back to the X-men mansion. Taking a deep breath, she coughed a bit, before craning her neck around the room.

Looking around, she noticed Runa wasn't with them, and she cursed under her breath. She didn't like the girl much, but she didn't want her trapped in the jungle. That was a problem, but it could also be solved later. Shakily standing up, she spotted a medicine kit, and drug herself towards it, as she started tending to her wounds. "There's another girl in there." She breathed, applying some antiseptic to her leg, before wrapping it up, "An Asgardian, been trapped awhile. Something deeper is going on here." She explained, sitting her ass down, and taking a breather.

"If she wants me smacked, she should come over here and do it herself." Elizabeth said dryly, before closing her eyes and exhaling, "Listen, What I did might've been a bit sudden and out of line, I didn't mean to freak you out as much as I did, so" She paused, "Sorry." Some things were worth fighting over and some weren't, and the latter list got considerably larger in the context of the end times. "Things have gotten a bit serious recently, if you all haven't noticed, so here's what I propose." He started, stepping out of the elevator, and crossing her arms. She knew it wasn't her place to plan, but she knew they all needed to pull together to make this work.

"Hel has two main problems we need to deal with, the army is apparently working on gathering resources, and the caged Baldur. We know Baldur is in Hel's Throne room, so any attempt to get to him will have to cross paths with her, in all likelihood." She explained, "So, I propose two teams. One to disrupt the army, which will hopefully distract the Death Goddess long enough for a second team to break in and get Baldur." That was her best attempt at a plan, and she thought it was pretty good, all things considered, "The smaller the team in the castle, the easier it will be to sneak through, you know?"

Arthur inhaled as Andy tended to him, and he looked at her, before weakly nodding. Fighting was better than dying. That was what he had to focus on, and nothing else. If not, he was going to die, and if he died, everyone else probably would to. Following Kieras lead, he looked over the the Ballista, and decided that he would have to try to use that. His knife would be borderline useless against something this big, and he absolutely refused to use necromancy. He was too unstable for that right now, he didn't know what he would end up bringing out if he tried.

Scrambling over, he put his hands on the ballista, trying to move it. It was heavy, and he was small, so it wasn't something he was good at, but with effort, he pushed it in the direction of one of the dragons, before firing it off, smalling a bolt into the monster's body. Exhaling, he realized he had no idea how to reload this, and stepped back, looking at the beast he had hit. He felt sorry, but at the same time, rationalized his actions as necessary. These beasts didn't feel bad about trying to eat him, so he shouldn't care about defending himself.

Oliver followed her down the hallway, and had to keep himself from being awestruck at the hidden passageway behind the bookcase. That was basically every nerd's dream, and he actively wanted a house one day that had one, unrealistic as it might be. This building was old though, and that was something he missed about this side of the pond. America, as great as it was, was young. The entire country felt old to him, and he liked it. Stepping into the study, he couldn't keep himself from grinning. This was cozy, almost everything he wanted, if the man wasn't a skrull, Oliver might actually feel a bit jealous of him.

As Psylocke asked them why they were here, he cleared his throat. "Right, it's a bit complicated." He said. He didn't want to immediately make things obvious for her, especially if this place was crawling with Skrulls. "Basically, your brother went on a mission not too long ago, and we're worried that the threat he faced may have escalated in a big way." He said, not lying, but keeping his response vague. Hesitating for a moment, he said, "They're called Skrulls, and according to all the records I could find, he and the team he worked with, were the first to encounter them. Any information he could provide would be invaluable." He hoped that satisfied her curiosity enough, though he was still on guard, ready to retaliate if she was secretly a Skrull herself. If Captain Britain was, it followed that the entire family could be too.
