Happy to see the swarming robots destroyed, he gave a satisfied smirk at Andy, happy to see that her idea worked, and that he himself was able to keep anybody from getting hurt. He'd never held something off that large before, so he was rather impressed by his ability to pull that off, flexing his powers that didn't involve disrupting the rest of the dead was much more his speed. Controlling metal was useful, and it didn't make him feel icky at all. From here, he'd try to use that more, rather than defend himself using his necromancy.

Following the other up to the ship, he looked out to the large creature approaching them. H figured he could ty to hold it off, but opted to wait to see if they could get away first. It looked like it would be hard to control something that large, and he didn't know if the god of the forge was going out be mad at them for destroying his creations in the first place, and didn't want to risk it by engaging any more than they strictly needed to. It still was a bit to marvel at though, how large thing slike this could be built, he'd never quite seen anything like that before in his life.

Not being able to see, Elizabeth was at least a bit more tuned in to what her other senses provided her, so when Lara stopped walking, she knew. Exhaling a tad, she didn't want to have to deal with another person being unable to drag themselves past their based human instincts, be it fear, hatred, or otherwise. She knew you couldn't yell somebody out of their emotional state though, and turned in what she assumed was her direction, and said, "What's going on? Are you alright?" She wasn't a sociopath by any means, but she her concern at the moment was not, in all honesty, with Lara's emotions, but rather how they might impact the situation at hand.

She didn't like seeming cold, but it just felt like there was a lot on the line here, and nobody was taking it as seriously as her. She normally wasn't monstrous, but that was the role it seemed she had to play today, mostly because she was worried that if she didn't keep pushing and trying to keep things together, one way or another, literally everything would end up falling apart. They were on a clock, and she wanted people to keep to it. She put on a smile though, and tried to make herself seem softer than she was, she wanted Lara to feel safe, not make her angry or feel worse.

Oli watched as the bear continued to attack Niah, and he frowned. The bear was totally ignoring him, paying him no mind whatsoever. That made absolutely no sense to him. Then, his eyes widened, as he started to put things together. "Niah! What Fury said-" He began, speaking as the thoughts were forming, "This monster is playing with it's food, that's it! It wants us to be afraid, it wants us to fear it, or anything, I don't know why, but if it can't get that, it won't kill us." He tried to explain. He couldn't intervene here, he knew that this needed to end now, or Niah would die, but he could explain things best as he understood.

"That's why this thing is here, a hospital is a nexus of fear, it's where we come to say goodbye; it's where suffering is commonplace." He continued, before pausing. He couldn't do it this way. People weren't him, the arguments that would help him release fear weren't the ones that would help her. He exhaled, before saying, "I... I don't know what you're scared of Niah, but whatever it is, it isn't worth dying over. You deserve to live. You showed me a kindness coming with me here, you had no obligation, and you knew that this was going to be something I couldn't go through alone." He told her, not just because he wanted her to live, but because it was true, "Something is coming Niah, and the world is going to need people like you for it, not only to fight, but to heal after we win. Whatever's comes in the future, you and I, all the team, we can face it together, and we won't have to be scared because at the end of it all, we're here for each other. I'm here for you, and whatever you're fearing, I know it's nothing we can't face together." He told her, speaking quickly, before putting himself between the bear and Niah, doing his best to shield her and keep her safe in whatever way he could.

Oliver gritted his teeth for a moment at Niah's comment, trying to keep tears from welling up in his eyes. That was something he needed to hear, and it wasn't something he could have just asked for. Knowing that she didn't think that of him, that somebody saw some amount of good in his existence, even after the tragedy that came in the wake of his realization as the son of Thanos, it was hopeful. And hope was exactly what the two of them needed right about now, more than anything. "We're not gonna die here, not to an overgrown carebear."

As he said that, said bear ripped a hole in the ceiling and climbed down to face them. Oli spat out, "Hey fuzz face, it's only cool when I go through the floor." as the bear seemed to ignore him and only go for Niah. He frowned at that, why ignore him all of a sudden? It seemed like this was engineered for him, after all, given that this all started at his mother's deathbed. In fact, this all was so out of place, it confused him more than anything. Why had he been targeted by a evil magic bear in the first place? Was this part of a skrull plan to take him out? He was finally pushed to come from one of them after all...

As people continued to ignore her, Elizabeth exhaled. She was used to being disliked, but this bordered on idiocy to her. Hold her accountable for her actions, sure, chew her out when they were back at the hotel even, but deliberately withholding information for no other reason than to spite her? What was with that? There were stakes to this mission that literally the entire world would feel the consequences of, and most of them were happy to let their emotions get in the way of that. It was juvenile, dangerous, and just all around irresponsible.

Nodding in the direction of Nadia's voice, she said, "Thanks Nadia, I appreciate it." Quite frankly, she didn't mind splitting up the group a bit, less people hating her at once would at least be easier to process, and hopefully Amora and Lara would be generally more pleasant towards her. Getting some distance between her and Runa would ultimately, she thought, be in the best interest of the mission. That was where the greatest tension was, and if they could get that out of the forefront of all their minds, then they might have a chance on concentrating on what's important. Elizabeth followed after Amora, focusing on not getting lost in the city despite her blindness.

Arthur's eyes grew wide as the automata rose up, surprised that these things were real. The good news though, is that these were certainly not alive, meaning he had nothing to feel back about for attacking them. They were just machines after all, right? Drawing his dagger, he nodded over at Andy, and threw is, the knife clattering to the ground in front of him. A look of disappointment crossed his face as he knelt down to pick it back up, only to fumble it. Exhaling, clearly annoyed he slowed down, picked up the knife, and threw it dead center at the automaton, setting things up for Andy.

Furthermore, Arthur had another idea. He knew he could control his knife using some of his demigod powers, so he didn't see why he couldn't scale that up a bit. Putting his hands out, he stretched, before holding his breath, and felt himself reach out and grab two of them with his mind, holding them firmly in place. It felt weir, to be doing it at a bigger scale than he'd ever done before, but it seemed to be working. This felt cool, and was actually fun in a lot of ways. He wanted to play with this more, and with all the robots around, he was confident he'd get a chance to. "Go for it Andy, shock 'em dead." He said, giving her a smile a she continued to concentrate on holding the robots down.

This was bad. Very very bad. The bear was inches away from killing Niah, and not that far from ending him either. They needed to get out of here, not fight and die. That was the only chance they had; he wasn't a fighter, he wasn't built for this kind of combat, not when he had no idea what he was facing or how to kill it. Grabbing Niah by the arm, he used his new favorite trick once more, and phased the two of them through the floor, away from the beast. They landed safely on the ground of the first floor, but Oli wasted no time; they needed to find an exit and get out of there as soon as possible.

Picking a direction, he took Niah's hand and said, "We gotta get out of here, we should be on ground level, I have an idea." Before leading them off, and quickly finding a window, albeit a tiny, almost skylight one on near where the ceiling and the wall met. It was too tiny for any of them to fit through, but that didn't matter. Windows meant there was just a bit of wall between them and the outside, and he knew he could get the two of them through that. Taking her hand again, he drew breath and said, "Let's get out of here." Before phasing the two of them through, only to be met with despair.

It didn't make sense, but phasing through the wall sent them back through the same side, as if they'd been turned around mid-phase. "Fuck this is bad" Oli said, starting to feel the inevitability of the situation sink in. It was kill the monster bear or die, and he had no idea how to do that. It felt like the seconds on his life were ticking down, that every moment he wasted was locking in his fate more and more. He closed his eyes and thought; whatever this thing was, it wasn't playing by the regular rules, it could make things happen, grow in size, and generally change the world however it wanted, logic wasn't going to sav him here.

He considered, there was no point being afraid, given everything. He was either going to die or fight his way out, and being scared would only hurt his chances of being able to fight. Still, it was hard to make himself believe that that meant there was nothing to be scared of. Steeling himself, he said, "Alright, looks like flight isn't an option, time to fight. No point in being afraid of the inevitable, right?" He said, looking over his shoulder, "We could have bought ourselves a little bit of time with that phasing trick, get ready Niah, whatever happens... I'm glad you here with me, sorry it got so fucked."

Rolling into Boston, Elizabeth felt her feet, and hands, hit the pavement. "Where are we, can anybody tell?" she asked. It'd been a while since she was last on Midgard, and she didn't exactly keep up with what civilizations had or hadn't fallen since she left. She knew America was big right now, she'd picked up on that from the new kids that had shown up. That being said, even if she had, she didn't expect to be able to tell where she was just buy the ground in front of her, but she hoped she'd hear a name she roughly knew about. Either way, she needed a moment to breath.

She picked up on the fact that Runa was less than happy, and normally she might try to say something to make her happy, or at least provide insight, but she knew that that just wouldn't be welcome from her. So instead, she just kept her mouth shut, if only to keep a mental breakdown of one of her team members from further endangering the mission. She got it, in a way, the words of Ratatoskr could be cutting, especially to somebody who just moved onto the hotel. It was too much, and if Runa could make it through this in one piece, it'd be a miracle.

Arthur took a look at what Andy had produced, seeing it was something actually hand held instead of the massive thing he had found. Honestly, he felt a little worried for a moment; should they be rummaging through a gods belongings like this? It seemed like the sort of thing that could spark their wrath, and that really wasn't something he wanted to see. He was told the thing he found was an "Archimedes Screw", and that apparently it was some sort of farm/irrigation tool, which he supposed was neat. That being said, he had no idea what a gimbal was, and the description provided was lacking.

Following after Lauryn, he too was curious about the source of the crashing noise. He figured that, if this place wasn't safe, hiding from whatever monsters may reside here would just end poorly. Instead, he would face things head on, and make sure to be ready if he needed to fight. He felt better now, knowing that killing things meant they wouldn't be gone forever, but instead was, functionally, just a way to get thing things that want to eat him out of his immediate vicinity. Drawing his dagger, he kept it near his side, wanting to be armed if there was a beast waiting for them.

In a way, Oliver was glad that Fury didn't react to his impromptu security advice, but that was supplanted by descent of all things into darkness and fear. Everything Fury had said up to that point was incredibly ominous, why would something go to the trouble? Sadism? Evil? He didn't know, but he was scared to find out. Hoping Niah would have some kind of information on what in God's name was going on, but when she did, it was the furthest thing from reassurance. As his arm was grabbed, he ran with her, and shivered at the words "murder bear". He had no idea what that was, but it sounded bad.

Soon, he saw said murder bear, the size of a god damn bus. It ate Nick Fury, if that was Nick Fury, and charged at the two of them, grabbing Niah by her shirt, and waving her around like a ragdoll. He knew he could run or fight in this moment, but the words of himself echoed in his ears, and his expression emboldened. Today wouldn't be the day he stopped playing hero; he'd save Niah, even if that put him in danger. He tried to grab for Niah, but she was flailing around, so he redoubled his efforts, and got a good grip on her. Unfortunately, that meant he was along for the ride as well, as the two of them were tossed around. He still had a way out though, and he closed his eyes, and vibrated the two of them free, landing them squarely on the floor. Breaking heavy, he righted himself, ready for more.

Picking herself off the ground, Elizabeth grumbled at Folly, it wasn't her fault this girl's skin was unbreakable. Just as she was about to come up with some kind of clever response to Folly's snark, she watched Cass snap the neck of the kid. "What the fuck?" She asked, getting ready to take a shot at her on principle alone, only to watch Folly get back up. Blinking for a moment, her anger started to subside, now more confused than anything. The girl was hearty if she could fix herself after something like that. As she thought that, something bounded off her metal arm, drawing her attention right before another one embedded itself in her real arm. Cursing under her breath, she cried out in surprise, as she felt a rush come over her head. She looked towards the shooter, ready to engage and find out what the hell she was shot with

She would have continued there, but she was dumbstruck by the emancipation of Cass's eye from her head, and the subsequent addition of it into Folly's stomach. She threw up a bit in her mouth, saying again, "What the fuck?" coughing onto the ground. "That's a bit overboard, don't you think?" She asked, thinking about keeping herself away from the action, as members of her team started to reign hellfire down on the Agent. "Hey! Lay off her, she's had enough yeah?" Elizabeth said, before struggling over, and interposing herself between the two of them, hoping whoever was shooting rainbow would stop it if a teammate was in the crossfire. She shivered though, unsure how long she could keep this up. She felt dizzy, as if she could pass out at any moment.
