Ferrokinesis Happy to see the swarming robots destroyed, he gave a satisfied smirk at Andy, happy to see that her idea worked, and that he himself was able to keep anybody from getting hurt. He'd never held something off that large before, so he was rather impressed by his ability to pull that off, flexing his powers that didn't involve disrupting the rest of the dead was much more his speed. Controlling metal was useful, and it didn't make him feel icky at all. From here, he'd try to use that more, rather than defend himself using his necromancy.
Following the other up to the ship, he looked out to the large creature approaching them. H figured he could ty to hold it off, but opted to wait to see if they could get away first. It looked like it would be hard to control something that large, and he didn't know if the god of the forge was going out be mad at them for destroying his creations in the first place, and didn't want to risk it by engaging any more than they strictly needed to. It still was a bit to marvel at though, how large thing slike this could be built, he'd never quite seen anything like that before in his life.
"I'm all for the whole not sticking around to deal with more robots or whatever else might be lying around here. Since let's be honest, we don't know what all is around here, could be something a hell of a lot worse then just those robots," Mary said in response to Alannah's comment. The idea that the robots might not be the worst thing that they could potentially encounter wasn't a good thing. Actually they could run into bigger robots or something like that which would not be a good thing if you asked her.
Jason put the sword back to it's smaller dagger form, and put it away now that there didn't seem to be anything really attacking them anymore, which was a good thing in his mind. Sure, he liked beating a few things up as much as the next person, but it kind of was getting a bit tiring in his mind. They've encountered so many things just on this little boat ride, he'd be fine with not having to deal with any of that sort of thing for a while now. Since in his brain this was getting a little bit ridiculous.
She rolled her eyes at Kiera and Leda, but she didn't say anything to them, she might tease Leda a little bit later regarding it. After all, she was her best friend, what sort of friend would she be if she didn't tease her about her love life? She went to follow up after people up onto the ship once again and she moved away from the ladder a little bit in order to allow others room to move into the area. That's when she looked up and saw the giant robot moving towards them, "I rest my case, something worse then those robots," she commented, looking over at the others now.
He headed up the ladder after the others, not entirely sure what else to really say with regards to what was going on down on the ground. Of course, he wasn't too thrilled with being back on the boat for a while yet, but he was still not wanting to be anywhere around that place given the whole idea of bigger and worse things existing in the junkyard. Once up, he glanced out to see the giant robot heading there way. "Okay, why does it look like de Iron Giant is 'eadin ooehr way ahr sahmethin? Any chance dis boat can get mahvin? Like now?"

"Alright if you say so," she said with a slight shrug towards the direction of Zeke's voice. Howeever, she wasn't so sure what to say or do when Kristin said that they could see about stealing a car or something like that. "Dedn't Zeke joehst say dat neither one o' you cooehld drive? Unfahrtunately fahr me, drivin is one o' de dings dat I can't adapt to and actually learn 'ow to do without bein able to see." she commented, not too sure what else to say in response to it. Since that just seemed like something they might not want to do.
There was also the whole morality thing in stealing a car when they probably could go just off on a bus. That was the other reason she was a bit hesitant to go along with this so easily. "I'm naht sure if we shooehld be stealin a car ahr sahmethin... Especially if neither o' you can drive," Janelle muttered, managing to get into the backseat of the car using her hands, unsure of what to do at this point. She had this image in her mind of them getting pulled over and thrown in jail or something for it.
Andy practically glowed under the praise of her brother. She had hoped the plan would work. Originally she had had the idea when they had been fighting the dragons, but it applied well here. "That does work well. We'll have to keep it in mind." She said getting on the ship again.
Seeing the giant robot thing heading their way her heart started racing. Was it retribution? A part of her wanted to fight the giant robot too and see if they had the skill to destroy it, but everyone else was ready to get going. So she took up a place near the railing to watch, if it got too close she would hit it hard with lighting.

Emily was surprised at how much information they were able to get from Atlas. It was good that they got it though. And between Marco and Niah's abilities, the pair of them were a little terrifying for getting information out of people. Or making them do something someone didn't want to do. Marco could convince them to take the oath and Niah's oath often came with pain of death if it wasn't completed.
A little bit of fear that had been tense in Niah's shoulder released when Atlas told them the plan. Now that they knew what it was they could counter it. They had to tell the camp first. Warn them so Terminus could be protected. She didn't even realize he could leave camp. Her eyes went wide as the werewolves stepped up. There was a lot more of them this time. When they had run into them on the Gem quest Nancy had blown up their heads with her singing.
Em squeezed Marco's hand back. Then released it, she needed her hand to toss the seeds she had in her pocket. Good thing she carried a lot. The seeds spread out and from where they landed vines burst up from the ground and wrapped around three of the werewolves. "I've got three, I don't know if I can get more though. Good luck with your plan." She said to Mads and pulled her own sword from her necklace, ready if a werewolf got too close.
Niah drew her invisible sword and moved in swinging at one of the werewolves hitting it pretty hard, but it was still standing. She didn't want to try what she had done last time she had encountered werewolves, which had backfired. So she decided to keep her Odikinesis for later if they were in trouble. She did maneuver herself so she would be between the werewolves and Mads, ready to protect her friend. She had her armor on also if needed she could get up in the air and fight from above. Niah hadn't used the armor that often but if she needed to it was in the back of her mind as an option.

Leda chuckled slightly at Demetri's fear of their evil twins being in the Roman Camp. "Nah, mate, that isn't really how any of this works," she answered. The confusion was understandable though. The Greek gods had Roman aspects and personalities, but they weren't separate deities. They were the same. If anything, it was more likely that every demigod could one day have an identity crisis and realize they had a distinct personality living in their minds that was Roman rather than Greek. But even that, Leda knew, was impossible. Their reality was strange but it wasn't that strange.
She helped Kiera along back to the ship, climbing up the rope ladder after her. She had hardly gotten on board before she saw the lumbering giant heading slowly towards them. Her heart sank slightly, but she wasn't surprised. The gods didn't like people taking their stuff, even from a junk yard. She had hoped that having some Hephaestus kids with them would be enough to bypass any curses or traps, but clearly that wasn't the case. "No one do anything stupid," Leda recommended. "We just gotta get clear. I doubt it'll follow us out of this place."

Nancy raised an eyebrow at Atlas' reveal that they were going to force Terminus to take his burden. As far as she was aware, Terminus wouldn't leave New Rome. She resisted the urge to laugh a little bit at the idea of the God of Boundaries holding up the sky. She doubted he would leave his post for any demigod, so it just made her feel better about how foolish and unachievable Atlas' plan was. She didn't flinch with surprise at the howls as a pack of werewolves appeared, shifting back into their human forms. She had already known someone else was there and she had killed werewolves before.
"Consider it done," she promised Mads. Marco's charmspeak seemed to be working and others were slowly picking off the werewolves, so Nancy cleared her throat slightly. It would have been better if she had a proper vocal warmup, but beggars couldn't be choosers. They didn't have the time for that. She started tapping her foot to the beat of Last Christmas by Wham!
🎶 "Last Christmas, I gave you my heart / But the very next day you gave it away / This year, to save me from tears / I'll give it to someone special" 🎶
She could feel the vibrations in the air from her song. She could feel the vibrations sweep out into the expansive space, brushing up against the werewolves, moving inside of their ears and into their brains. She manipulated the waves through her song and right as she finished the first verse, five of the werewolves' heads exploded. Nancy smirked slightly, still tapping her feet to the beat. She went to start the next verse and her voice cracked - she really should have warmed up - but ever a performer, she pushed through it.
🎶 "Once bitten and twice shy / I keep my distance / But you still catch my eye / Tell me, baby / Do you recognize me? / Well, it's been a year / It doesn't surprise me / I wrapped it up and sent it / With a note saying, "I love you, " I meant it / Now, I know what a fool I've been / But if you kissed me now / I know you'd fool me again" 🎶
Blood started trickling from three of the werewolves ears, but none of their heads exploded. Nancy was really wishing that she had a glass of water or something with her at the moment, she knew that her vocal range was usually much better than this. Of course, it wasn't that her singing skills were bad - they were amazing, she was a child of Apollo using her natural gift. She just was a bit of a perfectionist when it came to her performances.

Ezekiel sighed when Kristin said they would steal a car. He didn’t think it was the smartest idea and knowing their luck they would be caught. ”Well you better pray to your mom or something that she looks over us and guides your hand so we don’t crash. Leda was a good driver and yet we still crashed,” he reminded her. Ezekiel opened the back door for Janelle and shut it before he climbed into the passenger seat. Ezekiel looked around at the modest car, it looked average, hopefully they wouldn’t draw attention to themselves but they were also teenagers. ”Honestly, it probably isn’t the smartest idea but we might get there faster than we would on a bus,” Ezekiel told Janelle. ”How much fuel do we have?” He looked to Kristin to hear the answer and see if she could really do this.

As Demetri watched Leda kiss Kiera's arm, the offer of chocolate and general romance in the air, he leaned back against the railing of the ship and saw the bronze and golden reflection of the suns rays lighting up the ship. In that moment for just a second, he thought of those two as Zeke and him. The son of Apollo's golden hair brushing softly against his arm as he leaned in to kiss it and heal a wound he'd gotten from sheer dumbassery. No doubt being berated about it as well. He could imagine Zekes face of annoyance as he tended to the wound and scolded him about safety or another and how his power wasn't something to abuse. The thought lasted for a moment, just enough for Leda to call him back to earth as she answered his question on the Roman's.
Demetri let out a breath from his chest, an audile sound of concern drifting away as her words melted his worry. "Well that's good. Let's be honest I couldn't handle another me let one seeing an army of Zeke's. Ugh." It didn't take much to grab Demis attention, and having more than one person staring out made him nervous of what was behind him. As he turned to face the giant automaton his jaw dropped and he joined the chorus of worry. "Right. Any chance we can move this a bit faster yeah? Just a smidge. Not trying to be cheeky just a tad worried is all"
"Hold onto something alright guys!" Alannah said as she entered the wheelhouse, Kiera turned her attention towards the large automaton as it looked like it was getting ready to throw its massive looking spear, as it got into a throwing position. She looked towards Arthur for a moment wondering if he could stop the spear from hitting them, or stop the massive machine to. Kiera gripped the railing tightly as well as Leda's hand as well. Then the automaton threw the massive spear, when the Argo III suddenly lurched to the side violently, the sudden movement would knock just about everyone onto their backs. Though Demetri would be knocked over the edge, but he would be able to grip the railing.
The sails were lowered down and the massive oars started moving overtime as well to, Kiera heard the loud crashing sound as the spear that the automaton had thrown landed in a large heap of other things that Hephaestus had made. The large automaton started to quickly disappear in the distance. "Well that was a lot of fun, wasnt it?" Kiera asked as she noticed Demetri was dangling over the ledge and quickly went over to offer a hand to help him back up.
Alannah then came out of the wheelhouse looking at everyone else. "Is everyone else okay?" She asked as Lauryn came back out from the engine room. "The repairs are on their way now, it should be patched up by the time we get to New Rome." Lauryn said, it looked like she was really messy as well to.
Madalyne Crane

Madalyne looked at Waverly who looked like she might be in a daze or just at the large number of enemies that were before them, she looked at everyone else. "Make sure that they dont bite you or anything otherwise you get the curse to." Madalyne warned as she turned to Waverly and sighed slightly, they needed to get out of here as quickly as possible. "Waverly you are going to feel a bit dizzy okay?" She said, she hadnt done this before but it was worth a shot. She grabbed Waverly's hand and started to drain some of her magic, Waverly would feel really dizzy after Madalyne let go.
Madalyne closed her eyes feeling some more magic coursing through her, she started to chant something in latin and then a few seconds later everyone would see a portal flicker slightly before them, before it closed again. Madalyne groaned a bit as she concentrated again, as she started to get a bit of a bloody nose, as another portal opened up to what looked to be the senate floor. "Hurry up and get through everyone!" Madalyne said, just as she was tackled to the ground by a werewolf as it tried to claw and bite at her getting a few good scratches on her, the portal started to flicker slightly as Madalyne continued to focus not realizing that it had bitten her arm in the middle of the struggle.
Atlas just laughed seeing them all fighting. "You all are just delaying what is to come your camp will fall." He said to all of them, as one of the werewolves tackled both Emily and Marco to the ground while three of them were able to scratch Nancy, Niah and Waverly.

"I'm a child of Athena it shouldnt be that hard to learn really." Kristin said as she shook her head slightly as she reached for the key and turned it on. She looked around at the controls and various dials that were on the dashboard, looking over at Janelle and nodded slightly, she could understand her worry and concern as well to. It probably wasnt the smartest thing to do even for a child of Athena, but it was going to get them quicker then riding a bus after all.
Kristin leaned forward looking at the fuel gage turning to look over at Zeke for a moment as he got into the car as well to. "We have about half a tank or so." Kristin said looking at the two of them, as she finally started to drive slowly. "Check and see if there is anything else in here, like money or a credit card something like that." Kristin told them.
Waverley's body went stiff as howls filled the crumbling castle, her head whipping about to see where they could possibly be coming from. It didn't exactly sooth her when upwards of a dozen werewolves crept out from the shadows, looking ready to kill. Having been a musician for quite some time, Waverley didn't often get debilitating stage fright, but she'd also never played for an audience that wanted to rip her throat out as badly as these humanoid wolves seemed to (except for perhaps in some of the smaller, more conservative towns she'd been forced to travel through on a few occasions). As the canines descended on the group, Waverley felt herself freeze up, her hand hovering over the strings of her guitar. Right up until, a few seconds later, Madalyne grabbed hold of it.
"Wha- AGH!" Waverley only had a split second to be confused before she felt Maddy sap her of...something, something she couldn't quite pin a name to. She felt herself grow dizzy, and a cloud of what felt like writer's block on steroids polluted her mind. It was like some of the essence of her creative inspiration was being drawn out of her. A few things that sat in the backburner of her mind - concepts for chord progressions, half-baked melodies, unwritten lyrics - seemed to fade away into nothingness. She bent over a bit, hands going to her head, trying to shake the haze away. She managed it after a few seconds, aided in her descent back to earth by the loud sound of...Christmas music? She looked up, seeing Nancy belting the famous holiday tune out, causing a few of the wolves to start bleeding from their ears.
"It's...it's the middle of June my dude," she said, but her attention was immediately torn off of Nancy's unconventional battle hymn as a number of beasts managed to pin down three of their teammates, including both of her fellow fivers. She let out a deep sigh, and began to play along with Nancy's singing, pouring some of her remaining magic into the song and wishing for the release of her friends. As she strummed, the pile of dust and rubble behind her caused by Atlas' first attempted attack began to quake, shifting as it began to levitate in the air. It compressed, stretching into a long cylinder, becoming something of a serpent of crushed stone. It flew threw the air, crashing into the werewolf on top of Madalyne and throwing it back, before doing the same to the one on Marco.
But before it could get to Emily, Waverley felt her magical energy wavering. She tried to keep the Onix-like snake together, but she couldn't manage it. As it slipped from her magical grasp, it lost shape, crumbling back to the ground as nothing more than an array of broken rocks. She let out of a huff. But she didn't have time to rest, not with Em still under the werewolf. With her magic dwindling, Waverley instead slipped her guitar off her shoulder and grabbed it by the neck, running at the beast. As she got into range of it, she swung her instrument into its side, shoving it off her friend.
"Men can be such dogs!" she joked, slipping the guitar strap back over her shoulder. There was always time for puns. She wasn't sure how much magic she had left in her, but as she saw the portal flicker, she knew she had to try to help Madalyne in her efforts. She continued to play, this time pushing her influence to the portal in hopes of helping it stay up. She had no intention of going through the portal before everyone else was through, even at Madalyne's command.
Waverley will be doing her best to aid Madalyne in her endeavor of keeping the portal open
Marco wished he had more time to admire Nancy's singing. He wished he had more time for a lot of things, but he had gotten rather distracted by the werewolf that had tackled and pinned him down to the ground, pulling him away from Emily. Panic flared in his chest as he tried to get up, to protect his little Milo, and most of all, he needed to get up to protect Emily. Emily, his dearest love and the one he'd do anything for.
Thankfully, Waverly had come to their rescue, and he lept up when he was freed. He tugged out his knife and went to attack the wolf that was near Em, even as Waverly clubbed it. His hand reached out for his love, and he went to help her up. He didn't even seem to notice the portal yet, as the only thoughts in his mind were to get Em into his arms again.
As the ship lurched, Arthur fell over, and rolled onto his back. Honestly, a few weeks ago he might have been terrified about that, but that well had just about bottomed out by this point, and instead he just found himself grinning. When he let go of fear, this was kind of fun; not thinking about the danger to his life made things a lot easier, even if that wasn't exactly an easy thing to do. Maybe that was why heroes were brace, not because the had some kind of special moral character about them, but because they just weren't capable of fear anymore. That seemed to be about where he was, anyway.
Righting himself, and standing up, he looked around, glad that that was finally over. Watching the automaton disappear, he had a kind of awe at the engineering capability of the God of The Forge. It was honestly impressive, and it gave him insight on how gods could do things that humans just couldn't. Even the best designers and engineers on the planet couldn't hope to build things like that, and he'd probably been making things like that since the dawn of time. They were outclassed for sure, but it was still nevertheless interesting to see firsthand how wide the gap was.
The fact that there was a giant robot or whatever it was about to throw a massive spear that likely could take out the entire ship in one fell swoop was more then a bit concerning. They needed to get the hell out of the area, actually, they needed to get out of there 5 minutes ago before the giant robot showed up, but Jason wasn't going to say that out loud. Right now he hoped that they could get out of there before the thing actually hit them with that weapon. If not... Well he didn't even really want to think about it at all.
"Yeah, hold onto something, don't have to tell me that one twice," Mary responded as she went to grab onto something to try and stay on her feet given their current circumstances. Unfortunately it didn't seem to do much as the ship jolted off to the side and she was thrown to the ground as there was the sound of the spear hitting a pile of... Stuff. Really she had no other word to choose to describe the piles of metal in Hephaestus' personal junkyard that they were now leaving behind.
Jason was thrown off to the side from the sudden lurch and he hit the ground, and once the ship was steadied again and he was pretty sure that they weren't going to go lurching again, he stood up. "Dat cooehld 'ave been wahrse, boeht I suggest we dahn't go back dere ever again. Oehnless we want dat din to naht mess a secahnd time," he suggested, before he went to go over to where Demetri was sort of hanging onto the rail, "You ahkay Demetri?" he asked.
"Nice flying, though maybe give the warning a little sooner so that we have more time to potentially grab onto the rails or something," she suggested to Alannah, not too sure what else to say. At least they were getting the hell out of there, and apparently the ship was going to be fixed up by the time they reached the Romans! That was still going to be an entertaining thing, interacting with them and all. A small part of her was mentally placing bets on who would likely be the first person in their group to piss someone off, and her first thought went to thinking it likely would be Demetri.

"Dis stell seems like a really bad idea. Yeah it is prahbably faster, boeht dere are stell a laht o' prahblems wit dis whahle idea..." she muttered in response to them all more or less saying that they probably were going to be fine. Though the fact that Zeke admitted that the last time they went on a quest someone actually had their license and still the group crashed was not reassuring. If anything that more or less confirmed that this was a horrible idea, but the two of them seemed hell bent on going through with it anyway.
Her mind was just starting to wander, to try and take her mind off of the fact that they were probably either going to get pulled over by the cops or just crash into a tree on the side of the road or something. Problem was her mind was just racing to everything that had happened to the group so far, so that wasn't really much better. Yeah no, for her it was probably best not to think about it, and more of focus on what was going on currently. "'alf a tank can stell get oehs quite sahme destance befahre we 'ave to refuel, it depends ahn 'ow good de gas mileage is ahn de car and 'ow beg de gas tank is to begin wit," she commented since Zeke and Kristin seemed to be talking about how much gas they had in the car. Plus if they still had cash with them that they had been given or something, they wouldn't technically need to use credit cards. It is possible to pay with cash at gas stations last she checked.
"Story of my life," Leda murmured with amusement as Demetri asked if the ship could go faster. Leda was never satisfied with the standard travel speeds of demigods. They tended to be way too slow, moving at a rate that bored her and put her to sleep. It was one of the problems that came with the territory of being a child of Iris - some of the Hermes kids had the same thing. It also was why she related so strongly to her favorite superhero, the Flash - he knew what it was like to move in a world where everyone was standing still, spending an eternity waiting for someone to respond whereas to them, the response had been as fast as they could make it.
She kept a steady grip on Kiera, making sure that her new beau wasn't about to fall off of the ship and land in the junk yard. Leda didn't express it, but she was worried that someone on the ship may have to pay the price for them stealing from Hephaestus. The gods weren't exactly that fond of people just taking things from them, even if it were their own kids. She gripped onto the railing with her free hand, her pendant glowing an intense red as it reflected her focus and worries. The sudden lurch of the ship sent her and Kiera sprawling backwards and she caught a glimpse of Demetri going overboard - the bill comes due, then she thought sadly.
Leda was happy that she was wrong though - Demetri had clung to the side. "Someone's got Tyche on their side today," Leda observed.
☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Nancy finished her seasonally inappropriate song, just in time to witness her best friend be a complete badass and summon a portal to the Senate. She wasn't sure what she had done to Waverley in order to make it happen, as magic wasn't really Nancy's area of expertise. She was just happy that they'd be able to flee the scene before Atlas could make his play to try and convince Terminus to hold up the sky for him - a choice that she still felt was odd, as she doubted Terminus would leave New Rome for anyone. A werewolf left a nasty gash on her arm and Nancy sucked in air rapidly through her teeth, her coping mechanism for the pain.
"Get through the portal now, I'll hold them off!" Nancy ordered. Emily, Marco, Niah, and Waverley needed to get through that portal and Mads probably couldn't keep it open forever. Her fellow praetor was already doing the heavy lifting - it was the least that Nancy could do, returning the favor. She pulled her twin imperial gold daggers, the bow that Diana had gifted her resting on her shoulder as she didn't know how to shoot one and wasn't about to learn on the job. She twirled the daggers before beginning her attack.
Nancy is going to hold off the werewolves as best as she can until everyone is through the portal. She'll only move through once the others go. To hold off the werewolves, she'll use her audiokinesis to sing Bad Reputation by Joan Jett, as well as using her skills in Hand to Hand Combat and Daggers to stab any werewolves that get too close.
Andy grabbed a rope and it was a good thing she did as she lost her footing and would have slid across the deck. When the ship righted itself she stood up and looked around. She saw Arthur standing up grinning. A little weight of worry that had been knotting in her stomach over Arthur released a bit. She had been concerned he would snap and do something stupid, but maybe knowing that monsters didn't really die...which for any normal person would have been terrifying...helped him deal with it. Death wasn't the end anymore. They knew what was beyond. She looked over and saw her brother hanging off the edge Lauryn helping climb back over. "Demi! Are you okay?" Andy asked, offering her own hand alongside Lauryn's helping pull her brother to safety.
They were back in the air again. And that felt right to Andy. Maybe because of who her father was. She smiled looking to the horizon. They were going to meet more demi-gods. More kids like them. Maybe there would be some around her and Arthur's age. Or maybe other kids of Zeus. A bigger family. She remembered though that she had been told to look in the records for Crane. That would be important, she didn't know why yet, but it would be. Everything seemed so big, like that robot. But all they could do was keep going. That's what her life had been like for the last two years, why would it be any different now?

Em had been tackled and attacked by a werewolf. That was not where she had seen this day going. She hadn't thought 'a yes atlas the guy with the werewolves' when they had made the plans to go galavanting off to confront him. She hadn't even had time to stab the guy with her sword before being knocked down and rescued by Waverly. "Thanks, Waverly." She said as she stood back up. "You just saved my bacon." She considered a joke bouncing off of Waverly's, something something guess I'm a cat now. But gave up.
Niah was pissed. She did not like the idea of fighting werewolves again and this wasn't working. There were too many of them. Their group was already getting overwhelmed even with Emily trying to control the field a bit. Niah frowned. She had tried once before to use her Odikinesis to calm down a group of werewolves. It had... gone badly. This time hopefully she would be better at it.
She grabbed Marco's hand. She wasn't about to be an idiot and stick around to fight werewolves. They needed to get back to camp. Tell them what they knew and prepare. The Greeks were going to have a wild reception. She dragged Marco and went through the portal. He had no place in a knock-out-drag-out fight with swords. He really was better with words. And they were back in New Rome. Right in the middle of the Senate. And there was a meeting happening. Probably because of Marco's message. "Uh...hi. Emily here, just your gardner." She announced for the ones who didn't know her, but gave a weary smile to those she did know. "The others should be by any moment."
She hummed a note. Not for any actual reason, except to calm herself down. She needed to be calm for this work. And reached out with her power, touching as many of the werewolves as she could with it. Ten of them seemed to stop and stop caring about the fight. Emily and Marco were off the field, which left Waverly. Niah knew Nancy wouldn't leave till all the rest of them were off the field. "That's our cue." Niah ran and grabbed Waverly who for all El Kabong reenactments still looked a little dizzy. "Don't be a dumbass Nancy come quickly." She said, Waverly following behind, and through the portal they went. Landing almost ontop of Em who looked really embarrassed. "Perfect. You're already in session." Niah said with a bright grin and started toward her seat around the senate room.

Half a tank of fuel wasn’t bad, they would probably have to fill up at least once before they got to their destination. Not to mention needing to stop for snackage and to use a bathroom or two along the way. Ezekiel didn’t actually know how much further they had to go. He could track well but couldn’t judge distance well. ”Positive thoughts Janelle,” he reminded her when she went on about this not being a good idea. Sure, it wasn’t a good idea but they were fresh out of those and they were on a time constraint. Echidna already knew that they were on the hunt for her so really, what more did they have to lose. They were going to be coming across all sorts of things on this last lag of their journey. There were more important things to worry about than the legality of driving without a license. Ezekiel popped up the center console, finding nothing of use in there, he checked the door as well and then the glove compartment. ”Jackpot. We’ve got a few credit cards, I.D., car insurance and sweet, road tunes. Who leaves their wallet behind?” He shook his head and checked the dates on the credit cards and car insurance to make sure everything was valid. Upon further inspection, Ezekiel found the car insurance was outdated but the credit cards were good, that is if any had money on them. ”So, definitely don’t get pulled over. The insurance isn’t valid but the credit cards are still valid. Hopefully, they don’t report anything stolen so we can at least use them.”
And just like that Demetri's sunny disposition had vanished. Not moments before he was crackin jokes that the massive creation of Hephaestus decided to spearhead their ship. The warning came a tad too late for the child of Zeus however as the sudden lurch caused him to fling over the very railing he had just been leaning on. By his luck, or Tyche's guidance if Leda was correct, he managed to grab onto the rails and hold tight. The wind whipping past him as the ship flew up and away, his fingers turning white from the sheer force of it all. He saw as Lauryn extended a hand towards him, The sounds of voices calling out to him barely broke past the rushing winds until he heard Andy's voice and watched her hand decend.
He grabbed onto Lauryns, then Andy's, and then helped pull himself up onto the ship and laid flat across the floor. "I. Hate. Flying." He'd spent his first trip on the air coiled up as a snake around some pompous child of Aphrodite, and now he was clinging on to dear life on another vessel. He'd of turned into a snake and slithered onto Jason's calf if he didn't think the Ares kid would gut him for it. Instead he wrapped his arm around the rope that Andy clung to and held on tight in the event of another attack or turbulent motion. "Thanks though...I'm alright. Just wish I was a snake right now is all."
Alannah looked at Mary for a moment. "I dont think it is something that could be warned earlier, since the thing was in the air already." Alannah said towards her letting out a slight sigh. "At least we are safe now." Alannah watched as Lauryn helped Demetri back up onto the deck. Kiera rested her head on Leda's shoulder and smiled slightly towards her, glad to see that she was still okay she turned to look at Lauryn and Alannah. "So when do we get there?" Kiera asked, Lauryn and Alannah both thought for a moment, before Lauryn spoke up. "Probably either by tonight or early morning, hard to tell right now i'll be in engineering if any of you guys need me to make sure that the repairs are going smoothly." Lauryn said giving Demetri a pat on the shoulder before heading down to the lower decks.
"You guys can take sometime and rest if you want you guys earned it i'll be in the wheelhouse if any of you guys want me. Oh and could one of you guys give Camp Jupiter an Iris Message on an ETA when we get there?" Alannah asked as she turned around and headed into the wheelhouse now. "Hopefully the rest of this will go easily and we dont have to run into any other monsters." Kiera said with a slight smile while looking to her girlfriend and smiled at her.
Madalyne Crane
Location: Mount Othrys -> Camp Jupiter, Senate Building Skills: Mystiokinesis
Madalyne and Waverly were both able to keep the portal stable enough, just as Emily and Marco were able to get through the portal, she watched Nancy her best friend, able to take out ten more werewolves with her music, causing some heads to explode. "We need to go now." Madalyne said was she grabbed both Waverly's and Nancy's arms and dragged them through. A werewolf was about to charge after them, just as Madalyne had closed the portal severing the werewolves' body in half and burst into dust.
Nancy, Marco and Waverly would be able to notice the bite mark on Madalyne's right arm, all of the senators looked on edge as some of them stood up though they were within the city's limits they didnt have any weapons on them. Alexandra stood up she had taken one of the Praetor's seats looking at the group. "Well, about time I really do hate taking your guys' place. So what did you guys find out anyway?" Alexandra asked as she took a step back to let the others take the floor. Madalyne rubbed her arm slightly, and looked down feeling a bit of blood and winced from he pain her eyes going wide seeing the bite mark she looked like she was about to freak out and quickly tried to cover it with her sleeve.
Kristin Reynolds
Location: New Orleans Louisiana Skills: Telumkinesis
Kristin started to follow the roads and looked up at the sky for a moment spotting the sun, and knew that the sun set in the west and they needed to go west towards Texas. "I wouldnt use the credit cards, they would be easily tracked if the owner reports the car stolen." Kristin said as she looked towards Janelle for a moment, and nodded slightly she didnt like the idea of having to steal a car but they really did need to get to their destination as soon as possible.
"I'll try and be as careful as I can." Kristin said trying to smile at her for a moment, even though Janelle couldnt really see, Kristin was actually a bit nervous while driving. She followed the speed limit, as she started to find the highway now she looked at Zeke for a moment. "Try and see if there is a map of some kind to if you can." Kristin asked. "All I know is we are heading west from New Orleans." She told him.

"Yeah, no problem. I mean, what are friends for if not fending off werewolves with musical instruments?" Waverley responded to Emily, still strumming away, funneling every scrap of magical energy that came back to her into maintaining the portal with Madalyne. Her eyes darted between the wolves and her fiver friends as they quickly pulled themselves together, being the first to hop through to the other side. Waverley herself shuffled backwards towards it at a slow pace, though her speed picked up as she felt Niah grab onto her, pulling her towards the portal. They were quickly joined by Madalyne dragging Nancy behind her, and grabbing hold of Waverley as well once she got to her. With that, the four of them leapt through the portal together.
Waverley fell face-first onto the cold, hard marble. One disadvantage of having an unbreakable guitar, Waverley discovered as she carened into the ground, was that landing on it was not unlike landing on a small pile of bricks. It slammed into her stomach, causing her to let out a pained grunt as her lungs were robbed of their breath. She slowly crawled up back onto her feet, coughing as she slowly regained her breath. She wouldn't be surprised if she found a guitar-shaped bruise on her stomach the following day. Her eyes first scanned the massive hall they were in, which earned an expression of confusion from the girl, especially upon seeing the rows of bigwigs in togas.
"What is this place? The executive bathroom?" Waverley asked quietly. She'd never had any reason to be in the senate house, though now that she was there, she thought about perhaps changing that; the place seemed like it had good acoustics, and she could picture herself strumming on her guitar in the dead of night atop the rows of the weird marble benches. Her eyes eventually landed on Mads, or rather, her arm, covered in a sleeve that was just beginning to soak up some of the blood that it was trying to hide.
"You're hurt." She quickly stepped towards her praetor, gently grabbing hold of her wrist and pushing the sleeve up. She grimaced when she saw the injury, looking back up to Madalyne's face with sympathy. She then turned her attention back down to the wound and put a hand over it. When she began to sing, her voice was soft, quiet, not wanting to disturb the room of rather serious-looking folks and the older woman who immediately asked Mads and Nancy to take her place.
"I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand Walking through the streets of SoHo in the rain He was looking for the place called Lee Ho Fooks For to get a big dish of beef chow mein Ah-hooo, werewolves of London Ah-hooo Ah-hooo, werewolves of London"
Waverley found that with the short time between jumping through the portal and beginning to heal Mads, some of her energy had come back to her; she could almost picture a mana bar hanging at the edge of her peripheral vision, slowly refilling every free second. At first, her throat hitched, not used to singing such an upbeat, energetic song practically under her breath, but eventually she got into the rhythm, and the gaping wound began to stitch itself back together, until the only thing that remained was a prominent scar. She found herself much more satisfied with her job healing up the wound than she had been with her killing of the pit scorpion, oddly enough. After it was done, she let go of Madalyne's wrist, peering back up at her.
"Sorry if the song choice was a little insensitive...it's a good thing that stuff about werewolf bites being contagious is just bullshit...right?" In her time at Camp Jupiter, she'd learned a lot about how legends can often be distorted by time, and that the human account isn't always an accurate one. She hoped such was the case here.
Marco almost barely registered that Emily had taken his hand and was dragging him through the portals, as his adrenaline was surging at that point. He was worried for his friends, he was worried for his home, but most of all, he was worried about Emily. However when he registered that Emily had dragged him through the portal, he was in the middle of the Senate floor with his fellow Demi-Gods. He gently hugged Em and looked her over, praying that she had not gotten bit.
When he heard Alexandra speak, he could only really blink before replying. "So um... there were werewolves, a plot to use Termainus to hold up the sky, and uh... other things." He gently nuzzled into Em's hair and took her in fully. "Also the Titans are a bunch of pricks." He was trying to make a joke, but it came out in a strained voice as Marco was starting to lose control of his composure.
Leda couldn't help but giggle slightly as Demetri proclaimed his hatred of flying. It was as funny as one of her siblings declaring that they hated rainbows - or if one of the Athena kids detested math. "Why a snake?" she asked, a bit curious. She would have thought that an eagle or something would be better, since then he could just fly up onto the ship, but then again, he hated flying so maybe that was the reason. Eh, boys never made sense to her anyways.
She sighed slightly, hearing that the earliest they'd get to Camp Jupiter was that evening. She really wished that this ship could go a million times faster. "Yeah, Kiera and I can handle the Mum message," Leda volunteered. She didn't even know if any of the others, besides Mary maybe, would even have drachma on them for it. She pulled a drachma out of her pocket and made a small rainbow with one hand, before tossing the drachma into the beautiful light. "O Mum, goddess of the rainbow, accept my offering... Camp Jupiter, please."
☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️
Location: Mount Othrys -> New Rome: Senate House Skills: Prophecy
Nancy's throat was feeling sore as Madalyne dragged her through the portal. Werewolf dust went into her mouth and Nancy spit it out in disgust, wiping heaps of it off of her face and knowing that her hair most likely looked like she had went rolling in sand while on their outing. She felt like she had just licked cat litter. "Ugh, that was so freaking grody..." she complained. She was snapped out of her self absorbed pity party by two things - the fact that they were in the Senate House with weapons, a huge no-no in New Rome, and that Madalyne had a nasty bite on her arm.
Even without Madalyne's reaction of horror towards the bite, Nancy knew it was bad news. Werewolf bites were infectious. Those they bit would turn into werewolves under a full moon. Waverley sang a song for Madalyne and the bite faded until it was a scar, but deep down, Nancy knew that wouldn't be enough. Her nostrils flared as she stared at the bite. "Marco, debrief them now," she snapped. She wasn't angry at him. Nancy didn't know who she was angry at. "If anyone looks at me, I'll have your head chopped off and put on a pike, got it?" she then added. She walked to a quiet corner of the room.
"Help me to see clearly, Father," she mumbled. She sat down cross legged and pulled out her deck of tarot cards, her hands shaking but she was determined. She had to know if Mads could be cured, if she could be saved. Nancy felt sick to her stomach and her ears were ringing. Her hands were still shaking like mad and her fingers were so cold, they were numb, as she shuffled the cards and focused on her question, attempting to shut out everything else in her mind. She felt compelled to draw a single card - the Moon, reversed and then the world went black. To onlookers, it would look like Nancy was having a seizure.
To her though, she was trapped inside of her own mind, witnessing a horrible vision. There was a wolf in the woods - Mads - attacking a group of campers. When the vision cleared, a tear fell down Nancy's cheek. That couldn't be all of it. There had to be... there had to be another path, another way. She stared at the Moon card, feeling like it was taunting her mercilessly.
Arthur nodded at Kiera's hope. He needed this to be a bit more relaxed for a little while, or at least, he would heavily appreciate some downtime. The constant flood of encounters and fights just made everything so heated and stressful. It was a little hard to believe that this was the typical demigod life- there was so much risk for death and destruction that he had no idea how as many of them survived as they did. It felt like he'd been under a constant assault since he left the protection of the camp, and he couldn't imagine ever living outside of it for an extended period of time.
It was at this point, that Arthur had a question, that he asked to nobody in particular. "What... what happens to demigods who grow up? Do we have to leave the camp? How do will live with this kind of assault?" He hadn't seen any human adults at the camp, so he knew they couldn't be there. He really had to hope that the death rate among them wasn't so high that that just wasn't a thing that happened enough to warrant an actual plan for, but he had no idea. If they were all to die doing quests like this, it felt like they were just existing to be cannon fodder for godly disputes.
