Andy was considering heading down to check on the Gryphon when Arthur asked about adult demi-gods. She hadn't given it any thought. Growing up hadn't ever seemed to be in her cards. Ever since she had run away from the foster system each day was a struggle. Each day was basically another day of fighting and had been for several years. She waited for the answer.

"It was never this constant when I lived alone, to be honest." She says to Arthur. Sure she had her fights against monsters but in the two years she had been on the road it was less than a dozen. She wondered if the concentration of demi-gods had something to do with how much they were dealing with.

Em hugged Marco back, sensing he was upset. She saw Mads face and had a sinking feeling in her stomach. Her brain went for a terrible joke, which she whispered to Marco. "Feed her belladonna, roll a d20 make a fort save." He was the only one who knew how much she liked playing role-playing games so she kept her voice as quiet as possible so only he could hear. Then in a louder voice asking the senate in general. "Do we have any wolfsbane around? It works on weakening werewolves, it might keep..." She trailed off.

Niah having taken her seat, trying to look calm and collected. It was a lie though. She returned her invisible sword to its scabbard on her back. She was the only one not in summoned armor. She would have to keep it on for now. At least it seemed like everyone's summoned stuff was still there despite Mads putting so much into making the portal.

Em realized she still held her sword and held it up to her necklace, it phased down and became a charm. She also still had the scorpion tail on her hip in the summoned scabbard. If she didn't think she should be there for Marco having to explain everything to the Senate. Why had Nancy asked him to do it? Niah was right there for everything too. "We should do that as soon as possible. The next full moon is July fifth." They had a ticking time bomb with Mads on top of the Titans. Not to mention belladonna, or wolfsbane, could be deadly to humans. Mads could die from the cure, but would it be better to be dead and not a werewolf?

Niah looked over at Nancy watching her for clues about what her friend was seeing. She didn't know what was drawn or what Nancy saw in her vision but she knew the appearance of Nancy having one, and by the look on her face whatever it was it had been awful. "We don't have a whole lot of time. The Titans are planning an attack on the camp. They want to take Termainus and force him to take Atlas' burden. We have the Greeks coming. And now..." She trailed off looking at Mads worried. Taking care of Mads and making sure she was okay was first in Niah's heart. The camp could take care of itself. "What precautions have been taken since we were gone? Any defense plan in place?" The military commander that had been trained into Niah took over. They would have to multitask taking care of Mads and protecting New Rome.

Jason Gauger and Marygold Isley

Location: The Flying Boat
Skills: N/A

"You are seriooehsly loehcky dat you managed to grab ahnto sahmethin," Jason said instantly to Demetri when he got pulled back onboard of the ship. That could have ended badly for him in so many ways. Considering the fact that he was a shapeshifter at least if he hadn't grabbed a hold of the ship or something he might have had a chance to shift into an animal or something that could fly before he hit the ground. Now they were just flying along once again, trying hopefully to not get shot out of the sky by anything else or something like that.

"Eh, could be worse I suppose, but even like, another second worth of a warning might have been helpful," she responded to Alannah with a bit of shrug. It was just something to think about, a warning a few seconds sooner could make all the difference in someone getting knocked overboard again. Sure, she didn't care much for Demetri since the guy was annoying as all hell in her mind, even he didn't deserve the whole falling to the ground and going splat sort of death. That also had to be one of the worst possible ways to die. Just seeing the ground coming rushing up and then hitting it was not a pleasant sort of death that she wouldn't want to wish on anyone.

He listened to what the plan was and how long it would take them to reach this Camp Jupiter. Yay they wouldn't be on the flying ship for a whole lot longer, well knowing what the mission or whatever it was was supposed to be, odds were they'd end up back on the boat in no time. Hey, at least the slight idea of them being on solid ground and maybe not having to worry about being murdered was nice. Though considering from what he heard about past interactions with the Romans or whatever, they might not have too much of a calm regarding everything.

Mary couldn't help but laugh slightly at Leda instantly volunteering both her and Kiera to send the Iris message. Technically you would only really need one person to send the message, and Leda probably could have done it by herself without anyone else. She was a bit curious as to who they had interacted with previously during their last message to Camp Jupiter, since from what she had been able to tell it had definitely been an interesting encounter. Mary stood off to the side, not really sure what to do at the moment. She wasn't really tired or whatever from the robot encounter in the junkyard, so she just stood off and waited to see what happened with the Iris Message.

"I guess if you say so, naht entirely sure dat dis is goin to wahrk ooeht, boeht seems like we dahn't 'ave any ahther ahptions so all we can do is 'ahpe..." she responded to Zeke while leaning her head against the window, feeling the vibrations of the car driving along down the road. The fact that Kristin only partially knew what direction that they were going wasn't exactly helpful. Since they only knew the direction, there was no guarantees that they'd be able to do much of anything else unless there actually was a map in the car. Since if they found one at least they'd be able to tell more about where they are going then just the direction.

"Well let's 'ahpe dat we 'ave one already, ahtherwise when we stahp to fell oehp de gas tank eventually we shooehld see abooeht gettin one..." she commented with regards to their map issue. There wasn't much help she could be while they were in a car heading off who knew where. All that she could do was put her faith in Zeke and Kristin and hope that somehow the pair managed to get them to their destination without too much trouble. Her main concern still was that they were going to crash or something, but here's hoping that they didn't!

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Car - On The Road Again -- New Orleans, Louisiana
Skills:

”Well, I have a twenty. We can get some fuel if we don’t find cash. Or we can try syphoning fuel. I hear that is a thing,” Ezekiel noted and rummaged around for a map. If he couldn’t find one, they could stop for one but Ezekiel also had good tracking skills. Granted he had never really used them while driving but he was sure he could figure out the invisible lines and the directions they needed to be in. Half of being a demi-god was following your intuition and sometimes your parent’s voice if they decided to grace you with their presence that day. The sun was starting to set though and that was Apollo’s time. Either he would be far too busy to help or it could be the perfect time if they were caught in his light.
With Ezekiel unable to find anything in the front resembling a map, he turned in his seat and scanned the back seats, pulling stuff out of seat pockets, apologizing to Janelle for bumping her with his hand and found a map in the back pocket of his seat. ”Ah ha, here we go.” Ezekiel opened up the map and attempted to locate where they were and where they needed to get to. All he seemed to understand was the road they were on but he couldn’t figure out a route. Ezekiel groaned and looked over at Kristin.
”Have I ever told you how lovely your eyes look in the setting sun?” He decided an attempt at flattery would be better than asking for out right help. As it was, Kristin was never going to let him live it down that he couldn’t figure out a route to Texas, especially with his tracking skill. He could picture them getting home only for Kristin to run off and tell Leda immediately. Dammit.

Alannah poked her head out from the wheelhouse for a moment looking over towards Arthur hearing his question. "You are allowed to stay at camp no matter your age, though in recent years if a demigod wanted to they could go over to Camp Jupiter and attend university there. Some also just choose to try and lead a normal life." She said as she headed back into the wheelhouse, Kiera smiled as she watched her girlfriend using her powers to make the message. "Did I ever mention that you look really cute when you light up like that?" Kiera said to Leda and winked at her for a moment seeing the Iris Message coming through.

She stood there seeing the Senate Floor of Camp Jupiter again, seeing the senators again and then a few who looked like they were in some kind of armor, and one of them asking about preparations. Kiera then decided to speak up, hopefully they didnt get annoyed with her when she spoke. "Hey Roman people, did we interrupt at a bad time?" Kiera ended up asking, she saw one of the Praetors from their earlier message quickly use some sort of magic to disapear, leaving a sword behind and Terminus quickly coming into the room.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Jupiter, Senate Building -> Madalyne's Villa
Skills: Mystiokinesis

Madalyne couldnt help but start to shake violently, mostly out of nervousness she eyed the other senators as they started to whisper amongst themselves. Emily and Waverly certainly didnt really help matters instantly making public that she had been bitten pretty much. Madalyne watched Nancy making her way towards a nearby corner obviously she was going to use her gift to try and see her future. Madalyne started to worry that her future was really bleak now, and of course the greeks messaging system came up seeing the familiar redhead and blonde popping up.

"I need to go I cant deal with this I need to be alone right now.." Madalyne said she hoped that the others would be able to debreif the rest of the senate, the armor that Madalyne had magically made for everyone quickly faded. Madalyne set her weapons down on the floor and she waved her hands and she quickly teleported herself out of the Senate Building. A few seconds later Terminus popped into the senate floor looking at questing group. "You all know the rules no weapons within the city limits!" The god urged, he had no problems with enforcing the rules turning to see the iris message that the greeks were using. "What do the greeks want?" The God asked, before Alexandra coughed slightly and stepped forward to address Niah's question. "The fifth cohort has started making defensive lines along the boarder of Camp Jupiter and New Rome, and evacuation plans are underway as well to." She answered.

Kristin Reynolds

Kristin looked back at Janelle and smiled a bit. "It will be fine dont worry to much." Kristin said to her trying to reassure her as she decided to turn on the radio as a song started to randomly play. She smiled a bit remembering the song as a little kid, she watched Zeke starting to rummaging through looking for a map, luckily there was one. "Geeze you really are blind as a bat Zekey." Kristin said as she focused on the road while occasionally looking at the map.

Kristin found where they were and then pointed to Interstate Ten. "We just need to stay on Interstate Ten, that should get us to Houston without much of an issue." Kristin said, as she continued to drive while listening to the music being played turning to Zeke for a moment. "If you start singing i'll push you out of the car." Kristin said, jokingly.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Ship
Skills:

Demetri looked towards Leda as she commented on what he'd said. He hadn't meant it to be out loud, just a thought that made its way forward in the moment of things. "Last time i was taken flying i spent it as a snake, coiled up around someone's leg and away from view. Just gotta hope whoever I choose is right for the job of not falling off." A part of him wanted to stay wrapped up in the rigging, safe from falling, another wanted to leave as soon as they were dismissed to relax until landfall. Jason seemed to be genuinely concerned which was a nice turn of pace. It was always a good feeling to see someone actually care for you in some manner or another.

Finally deciding, Demetri let go of the rope, tentatively standing still as he checked the sturdiness of the ship before walking away from the edge. "Trust me, I know how lucky I was to grab hold of something. Seems someone somewhere is watching out for me. Definitely a reassuring feeling. Anyways I'm heading to my room, had enough of open spaces for a lifetime. At least those that are up in the air that is." He walked passed Jason, patting him on the shoulder like a friend saying goodbye before Demetri made his way into his quarters and laid in bed waiting for them to land.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: New Rome: Senate House
Skills: Strategy

Nancy's consciousness slowly came back to reality. She knew what the cards had shown her, a bleak future for Mads that she couldn't accept. There had to be a way to cure her - maybe some long forgotten text existed. Maybe the Greeks had invented a way to cure werewolves. The prophecy - no, her prophecy - it had to be wrong. Such was the Oracle's curse after all, being able to see these horrible things and unable to accept them. Everything Nancy had ever seen in the cards came to pass, but with Mads? She wanted so desperately to be wrong. Maybe they could convince one of the gods to heal her - her own father, maybe?

She put the tarot cards away in her pocket, rising to her full height. Her mind felt scattered - for instance, she had told Marco to inform the Senate what had happened purely because he was talking at the time. There hadn't been any political motive behind it. She wanted to put all of her energy into helping her friend, but Mads had run off to be alone. New Rome had two praetors for a reason - Nancy was going to have to step up and lead everyone in Madalyne's absence. She looked at Terminus and set her weapons down - the bow Diana had gifted her, as well as her daggers and such. "Sorry, Terminus - it was an abrupt entrance," Nancy apologized.

Privately, she hoped that Niah would go after Mads and she looked at her, hoping her gaze would speak louder than her words. "Fifth Cohort's been making a defensive line and evacuations are underway," she murmured, thinking quickly. She had to think about the safety of everyone there - she couldn't waste all of their time worrying about Mads, as much as she wanted to. "Okay, new set of orders. I want the Fourth and Third Cohorts to set up siege weapons around both Camp Jupiter and New Rome. First and Second Cohorts will set up traps within the city itself. Terminus, you're to stay at New Rome no matter what. They want to use you to free Atlas, and even if we're all dead, don't do it. I also want a medical tent set up, staffed by the children of Apollo ideally. Have it in one of the villas nearby. We'll use the Senate House as a war tent."

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: the Ship
Skills: Rainbow Manipulation

Leda felt a bit like they were eavesdropping, hearing the inner workings of the Roman Senate. One of the praetors had left and the other was just giving everyone their marching orders. She didn't say this, since she was next to her lovely girlfriend, but both of the praetors were really hot - and sadly, there was no New Housewives of New Rome show going on at the moment. It was all just dramatic and serious, with tension so thick it could've been cut with a knife. "We're here to let you lot know we'll be there this evening or tomorrow, ta," Leda explained.

"Understood," the praetor said, her brown eyes burning with a certain fury - they had the intensity of the sun. "We're anticipating an attack by the titans. If you get here beforehand, join us in the battle. You can support the fifth cohort or work as an independent squad."

Leda shot a bit of a look at Kiera as she maintained the Iris Message - she didn't exactly like the lack of choice given to them. They were Greek - they pretty much were trained to be strong fighters on their own and to do what seemed right. The overall military vibes of the Romans didn't really vibe with her worldview. She wasn't a pacifist by any means, but she was still a child of Iris - she didn't like order and conformity and all. "Uh huh," was all Leda said. "How generous."

"...Right?" Waverley quietly repeated when Madalyne didn't immediately answer her question. She could feel the praetor beginning to shiver in her hand. As the musician lifted her head to look up into Maddy's eyes, she saw her as she'd never seen her before - not as a leader, not as a teacher, not even as a , but as a teenage girl scared for her life. And with that, Madalyne yanked her arm from Waverley's grasp, dropped her weapons, and faded from sight. Waverley payed little attention as the war meeting continued, interrupted by the presence of the Greeks' divine Skype call. She softly hummed a tune, one she'd found in the past to be particularly good for tracking people down. At first, she tried to focus on the remnants of magic that Mads had left behind with her teleportation spell, hoping to perhaps use it to follow her. Unfortunately, the probatio's lack of more grounded knowledge of magic squandered this plan. So, as she continued to hum, she stretched the her capabilities outwards, towards the rest of camp, until she eventually felt the praetor's presence. She opened her eyes to inform either Nancy or Niah, but the former seemed to be in her own trance-like state, while the latter had slipped into the role of strategist. Waverley turned to Emily and Marco.

"You two and Niah should figure stuff out with Team Toga. I'm gonna go make sure Mads is alright," Waves suggested, before quickly pacing towards the door. Before she could get to it, though, she found her path blocked by the statue guy, Terminus. "Oh, uh, yeah, sure," she quickly pulled her baton and revolver from her belt, before tossing them onto the ground in front of him. It felt like she'd thrown her weapons to the floor more times than she'd actually drawn them, though she didn't see that as a bad thing. She sidestepped Terminus, running past him and out the senate house. She charged through the city, her guitar making it a bit awkward to do so. Eventually, she found herself in front of Mads' villa. She had to force her anti-authority mind away from thinking about the fact that Nancy and Madalyne got to sleep there while the rest of the campers got the barracks; that wasn't important right now. She quickly marched up to the villa entrance. She rested her hands on her knees for a split second, regaining her breath, before standing back up straight and banging her fist against the door.

"Mads? You in there?...Actually, I kinda know you're in there, since, like, magic and stuff..." she began, sounding a little awkward, before letting out a sigh. "Listen...I know you said you wanted to be alone, but, if I've learned anything over the years, it's that when someone says they need to be alone, that's when they need a friend the most. So...would you please open the door?"

Marco could barely register what anyone was saying to him in that moment of time. He was starting to feel the beginning of a panic attack. How long had it been since he had one of those? It happened less and less when he was with Em... His life line, his rock, his flowering vine. He was brought back to reality by feeling her hand and then hearing her whisper to her. It was a dumb joke, something from her role playing game, but... it made him chuckle and it grounded him right back to his body. His precious Em, she was always there for him, and he'd always be there for her.

Thankfully for Marco, someone else stepped up and explained what was going on to the Senate. He pressed in close to Em and squeezed her hand a bit. He could hear snippets of the conversation around him, and he picked up that the Greeks were almost there, to help them out. That made him feel a bit better, but the conversation turned back towards what Atlas had told them.

"I can attest there were no falsehoods in what Atlas said. Should Em and I go join our cohort and help with the defense line and evacuation?"

Ezekiel followed what Kristin pointed out on the map and nodded. He would keep track now that Kristin pointed it out. Unfortunately he didn’t figure it out on his own and that bothered him the most. Kristin turned the radio on and nodded his head along a bit. Ezekiel smirked at Kristin. ”You know that I can’t sing but I could make an exception. Janelle, do you sing?”
Music had always been a strong influence in Ezekiel’s life. He had started playing the guitar when he was young, teaching himself before he could take a course at school and then he was at Camp Half-Blood. When Ezekiel wasn’t on all these quests, he was practicing and writing. He had even written a song about his last quest with Kristin.

Arthur Stanford

Location:Argo III

Arthur smiled at Andy's attempt to reassure him. He forgot about that, he had living most of his life without being hunted by monsters at this rate, so this rate had to be a kind of outlier. Certainly, he'd never run into a dragon before, so whatever was going on, it might be a sign of something bigger going on, summoning creature to kill them. HE shrugged though, they'd survived so far, and he knew it had to let up eventually. Turning his head to Allanah, he smiled for a moment, giving him a interesting feeling. He'd never really considered going to college, but now...

Up until now, he thought he'd essentially lost the chance to go, you couldn't go to classes if monsters could tear down the wall at any moment. But if there was a place that just was for demigods? It was a kind of hope. He had no idea what the romans were like, but if they were cool, he couldn't think of a reason not to go there. Turning his head towards Kiera, he waved at the Iris message, but decided not to interact. He didn't know if there were any kind of tension between the the greek and roman camps, and he didn't want to make a fool of himself.

Jason Gauger and Marygold Isley

Location: The Flying Boat
Skills: N/A

Jason found Demetri's comment about turning into a snake a bit amusing, but all things considering he figured it was probably for the best that he didn't make a comment about it. If he did he figured that odds were it would sound like he was laughing at him about it, and considering the fact that they were still on the boat for another day or so that likely would not be a smart thing to do. Of course, he was slightly curious about the answer to Arthur's question when he asked about what happened to demigods when they were adults.

He was rather glad when Alannah poked her head out of the wheelhouse to answer it, so that was a nice thing to think about. Of course, it sort of mattered for him since he was on the older end of the spectrum with age compared to a lot of the other kids around the camp that he had seen. The idea of potentially living a normal life or something like that was definitely appealing to him, but he wasn't sure if he'd be able to pull that off with the monsters or whatever that were seemingly constantly going to be after him. Yeah that was something to also think about.

Mary was just listening to what seemed to be being said during the Iris message, and she listened to the Romans sit there talking about what was going to happen. She noticed one of the people seemingly disappear into thin air and she walked a little closer to look at the surroundings in the message. Of course she didn't move too close since Leda and Kiera were there and she didn't want to interrupt whatever it was that they had going on despite the message. Personally Mary didn't care too much for the Romans, and was a little bit annoyed that one of them seemed to be into bossing people around clearly.

"I forgot that the Romans could sometimes be a bit headstrong and bossy," Mary muttered under her breath as she listened to what seemed to be going on. The Romans were expecting an attack and instantly were jumping into their typical military mode and started saying what they could do, as in those of them on the flying boat. Clearly they hadn't thought about what they would actually want to do for a plan, nope they just were getting lumped in with either one of their cohorts or just lumped all together as their own group. Yup this was definitely going to be fun.

"Maybe you might want to fend a better term fahr dat. Sence bats actually can see fairly well, joehst naht in de way mahst people can," she commented with regards to what Kristin had said to Zeke. She didn't also add that calling people blind while sitting in a car with someone who actually was and literally couldn't see anything was likely a bad idea. When the music turned on, she started humming slightly to the music, just listening to the sounds and feeling the vibrations from the car racing down the highway.

Her attention was drawn back to the two others in the front seat as they were making comments about the music and Zeke potentially singing. She shrugged when she heard his question that was directed towards her. "I like music, boeht as far as I know I'm naht de best senger ever, so I typically joehst set back, relax and lesten. To me music is calmin, even if it is sahmethin dat's sahmewhat looehd playin throoehgh de radio," she finally settled on for a response, and she just leaned her head against the window, continuing to just listen to the world around her.

Andy nodded. She had a lot to think about suddenly. College? A place for demi-gods other than camp, that was safe? "I'm gonna go to the cargo hold." She told Arthur, torn over if she wanted him to join her or to leave her alone. Then made her way down to where the Gryphon was.

She smiled at the Gryphon as she came down pulling another fish for him and offering it to him. He took the fish and ate it then nuzzled her. It was nice. She hadn't expected that. "Hi there Mr. Gryphon." She rubbed his head.

Did she want to grow up and go to a school? She hadn't gone to school in so long. Was it a future that worked for her? "You don't have to plan for the future do you?"

Emily couldn't help but wince. She had made things worse she feared. But they had to do something. They had to try. She hugged Marco tightly. It was reassuring. She handed over her weapons to Terminus. "We should..." She started to say. How was she going to be able to fix this?

Niah looked up at the Iris message coming from the Greeks. She pinched the bridge of her nose. And held her weapon over to Terminus, letting him take it. She felt bad about having the weapon here in New Rome, but the situation was extenuating. "Thank you for the heads up." She told the Greeks. At least with them coming there would be extra swords.

Oh goodie, the Greeks were coming. Had she missed that memo? Or was just super distracted? She had no idea. "Marco, let's go. We should let the Senate do its thing." She started backing out of the room. A part of her wanted to go and find Madalyne, but Waves had run off after her. She didn't think she'd be helping that situation showing up. Waverly should be trying to forge her own friendships.

"Can we get this session ended and get moving then? We don't know how long we have until the Titans get here." Niah said. She had things to get moving with her cohort. Something was going to have to give with how piled on she felt at the moment.

Kiera Donovan

"We could provide air support or something to if needed." Kiera suggested looking at the Romans as she listened to the group as they all spoke about their battle plans. She hadnt been at this life for very long she felt like they were in some soft of movie plot and had to fight off an army. The Iris Message connection suddenly closed, Kiera looked at Leda and then over at Mary for a moment they certainly had to plan for something once they actually get to Camp Jupiter. "Well that was a nice chat right?" Kiera said jokingly as she looked over the ledge seeing the ground below and the wind blowing through her hair felt pretty nice and relaxing as well to.

"So what should we do, get things ready for the battle soon or something?" Kiera asked Leda and Mary, they should be able to get there soon and the battle would be pretty exciting as well to. Alannah came out of the wheelhouse looking at the group tucking a stray strand of hair out of her face. "I overheard and pushed the engines a bit more so we should hopefully get there quicker so long as we dont have any other monster encounters." Alannah said to them.

The Gryphon stared at Andy for a moment tilting its head to the side as if it was actually listening, before making a huffing like sound as it went to lay down in the stall lifting its wing slightly to show the bandage. It was a bit bloodied and looked like it needed to get changed, as Lauryn poked her head into the stall. "Whats up? He seems to be liking you." Lauryn said as she tossed another fish at the Gryphon as it caught it midair.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Jupiter, Senate Building -> Madalyne's Villa

Madalyne slowly opened the door to her Villa and stared at Waverly for a moment, it looked like she had been crying for a bit as she stared a bit longer before moving to the side to allow Waverly to enter her villa. "Before you ask, there is no cure for the curse as far as we know. The curse was created by Jupiter himself, so unless you have his number there isnt much you can do for me.." Madalyne said sighing slightly, knowing that if she were to die she would end up in Tartarus instead now.

Inside the villa it looked rather nice, the living room which Waverly could see was really large, with expensive furniture and a few paintings and bookshelves as well to. She knew that she was being kind of selfish for leaving Nancy the way that she did and the others, when they had an army of monsters coming after them. Madalyne thought for a bit she didnt really have to much time to prepare for the curse to take full effect.

Alexandra looked towards Nancy and gave her a nod, as did the other senators they needed to get everything prepped and ready to go for battle as soon as possible. Terminus stared at Nancy for a moment and nodded as he looked down at the weapons on the floor, even though weapons were prohibited within the citys limits if they needed the weapons to help fight he was willing to bend the rules. "You may keep your weapons then in the city limits." Terminus said as Alexandra looked towards the others for a moment before speaking.

"Unless Nancy says otherwise I guess we should get to our jobs then." Alexandra said looking at her half sister for a moment before standing up, noticing that the Iris Message had just disappeared. Alexandra got up, as did the other senators started to file out of the room to get ready for the battle.

"You'd totally make dogs howl whenever you do sing its like nails on a chalk board to." Kristin said jokingly as she continued to focus on the road in front of her getting onto the main highway. "So, should we play a game or something in the meantime?" Kristin suggested, usually it did help pass the time and keep things interesting as well. It was also a good way to not end up getting bored and having a bunch of awkward silence to, Kristin also remained alert they hadnt bumped into any monsters yet since they left New Orleans.

"Or any kind of stories to could be fun as well to." Kristin said giving a slight shrug, as she leaned back while ocasionally looking at the signs to that passed by. Kristin started to wonder how the others were all doing now as well as she thought about it, and hoped that they had gotten to Camp Jupiter safely.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Ship
Skills:

Sleep wouldn't come to Demetri no matter how hard he tried. Everytime he closed his eyes all he saw was himself dangling off the edge of the ship. He tried to think of more pleasent thoughts, turning onto his side as his hands slipped under his pillow and he pulled it tight beneath him. His eyes closed again, thinking of the glitter from the junkyard. The feeling of awe that swept him up upon seeing a sea of bronze that shimmered like gold in the sun. That image slowly shifted into a dazzling shimmer of lights with a silhouette blocking the center, almost as if it was a halo from Christian depictions. His minds eyes adjusted to the light, the dark figure coming into view as he saw Zekes smiling face. Demetri immediately bolted out of bed, tossing his pillow to the floor in the process as his eyes opened again.

"Oh for fucks sake! I'm not dealing with that can of worms right now." Demi opened the door, half stepped into the hallway before glancing back at his bed. "Nope. Not in hell" He stormed out of his room and back on deck with the rest, seeing that Leda and Kiera were no longer casting an Iris message. "So whats the Romans want? Or say I suppose since we contacted them. Gonna have ourselves a friendly landing?" He leaned himself against the doorway looking out onto the deck, not wishing to fully step out incase another beast decided to lurch the ship again.

Location: Maddy's Villa
Skills: Unbridled Optimism

Waverley, who'd been bent over, hands on her knees, struggling to catch her breath, stood back upright as the door creaked open to reveal a teary-eyed Madalyne. For a moment, Waverley looked at her with sympathy, the same she'd shown when she'd seen Atlas holding up the heavens. She imagined Madalyne felt like that now; as if the sky itself was trying to crush her underneath its tyrannical boot. But the sympathy quickly disappeared, replaced by a beaming smile, as if she was trying to cast light into Madalyne's soul in order to scare the darkness away.

"Sure there is...I can make you tea," she offered. Or perhaps it wasn't an offer, but instead an assertion, as she didn't wait for Madalyne to accept before she quickly sped inside, slipping her guitar off her body and leaving it at the door. Within seconds she was in the praetor's kitchen area, filling up a kettle with water and placing it onto the stovetop to warm. She was quiet as she pulled a mug out of Maddie's cabinet, trying to arrange her thoughts as she dropped in a teabag. After a few more seconds of hesitation, she turned around to look at her friend.

"As far as we know. That's the key phrase here," she chirped, her shoulder popping up in a half shrug. "A year ago, there was no such thing as magic, or demigods, or dragons, as far as I knew. Yet here we are. And I'm sure there were days when you were trapped in that weird Limbo casino that, as far as you knew, you'd never get out. Yet here you are." Waverley was interrupted by the high pitched whistling of the kettle, which prompted her to turn around, and pour the warm water into the mug, the teabag immediately turning it a light shade of green. Once it was full, she turned around, holding it out to Madalyne. "What I'm trying to say is...we don't know what's possible until we do it. So let's do it. After this big fight is over, let's find a cure. I mean, curses were made to be broken, right?"

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: New Rome: Senate House
Skills: Strategy

Nancy took her weapons back, glad that Terminus was willing to let them hold weapons in New Rome. She didn't have any hard feelings towards Madalyne for leaving her to run the war effort - if anything, she was worried if Madalyne was okay or not. She hoped that Waverley wouldn't put her foot in her mouth for once. They had allies on their way though - the Greeks. She bit her lip slightly, debating whether or not to ask the Hunters of Diana to come and aid them in their struggle, but she decided against it. They had their own mission. New Rome would not fall that day. "That's all. Go," she told everyone in the room. "Alexandra, I want you to make a sacrifice to the gods - particularly Mars and Bellona. We'll want their blessings in the battle."

She would have gone and done it herself, but she needed to be prepared to command - to decide what strategies to use. She found the war maps of Camp Jupiter and New Rome, spreading them out on the praetor's table. The maps of Camp Jupiter and New Rome were enchanted, showing movements of all within them. The third map she found was of the sewer system and she frowned sharply. She hoped that the construction could be completed by all of the cohorts quickly. She found a bit of sticky notes and wrote on one - MEDICS - and stuck it on one of the villas nearby. She did something similar on the Senate House for WAR ROOM. Nancy strummed her fingers on the desk as she thought.

She wrote down numbers for each of the cohorts, before placing her stickies. The First and Second Cohort would defend Camp Jupiter. The Third and Fourth would be placed around New Rome. The Fifth Cohort would be down in the sewers. "Terminus - would you go inform the citizens of New Rome to take shelter? If any are willing to fight or assist, bring them to me."

"Yeah, I feel chuffed whenever I get to chat with the Romans," Leda quipped, shaking her head slightly as she looked at Kiera. She really didn't like the way the Romans treated everyone. They didn't get a chance to really interject and contribute to the plan, instead the Romans just decided they knew what was best and that would be that. They were all so war happy too, she wouldn't have been surprised if they turned out to all be children of Ares - or Mars, she guessed - at the end of the day. At least Jason would probably love New Rome then. He'd fit right in.

Alannah apparently was going to push things so that way they'd get there sooner - ideally in time. Leda didn't like the Romans, but she didn't want them to die. She'd go down swinging for her fellow demigods, Camp Half-blood or Camp Jupiter didn't matter. "Mm, yeah, probably would be a good idea," Leda admitted. "The Romans are expecting an attack. If we're lucky, gods willing we can help them stop it. Which means... Oi, Alannah, do we have any armor on this ship? Should probably get everyone fitted with a set."

Marco simply nodded at Em's words and slipped his hand into hers and then went to leave the Senate house. He hated how he was freezing up at the moment. The smooth talker, easy charmer and natural flirt were all gone in that moment. He almost barely registers Terminus saying he could keep his weapons, as they were officially at war. Or maybe at war. The words were mixing together and blurring in Marco's mind, and he clung to Emily more.

It was only at the soft sound of a sugar glider that Marco started to pull himself out of his anxiety attack. "Oh... Um Em, do you mind if we swing by the Cohort? Battle... is a bad place for Milo." He was still out of it, and he probably would need some cuddles with Em later, but at least having the priority of getting little Milo to safety gave himself something else to focus on, besides all the horrible thoughts in his brain.

He was sure he would have to figure out what was going to happen after that once Milo was safe, but a small step was bigger than no step and spiraling downward.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Car - On The Road Again -- New Orleans, Louisiana
Skills:

Ezekiel grinned at Kristin’s statement. ”Hence why I play guitar and don’t sing. My hands are far more talented,” he said, wiggling his fingers and winked suggestively. Ezekiel liked the way Janelle spoke about music. It made his smile change to something more soft and endearing, something real. ”Music was the only thing that kept me moving forward.” Ezekiel wasn’t often an open person but if you could get him on the subject of music, he just seemed to open.
Kristin suggested a game and the magic of Ezekiel’s tender moment vanished. ”Oh gods, please no. Can’t we just sit in silence for a while. Aren’t you tired of hearing my voice?” There was no point of car ride games like I Spy or the License plate game.

"Hey, Lauryn." Andy smiled at the older girl. "Yeah he does. Maybe I should name him." She paused to think but couldn't come up with a name that didn't sound stupid. "Do we have more bandages and stuff. Without Rebecca here I guess I'll take care of him, but I don't really know what to do." She admitted. Lauryn had been nice enough to her and understanding that she didn't feel bad telling her that she didn't know what to do.

It hurt a little to think about Rebecca leaving them. She was supposed to have been teaching her magic. Andy sighed a little reminding herself that was why she shouldn't bother trying to be friends with people and why she had to be self-reliant. She could only be as self-reliant as she knew though. So if someone could teach her something she was determined to learn it.

Location: New Rome Senate -> Cohort 5

Emily put her weapons back on since Terminus said they could keep them. That felt weird. Like buying alcohol on a Sunday in Utah. Not that she had ever done that before, which might be why it felt weird. She had never done this before. Never just walked around with her weapons. She held Marco's hand as they walked back.

"We got this. New Rome is a well-oiled war machine ready to protect itself." She said optimistically. With the leaders they had, they couldn't go wrong. As long as people actually listened to them. And if the Greeks made it in time their numbers would at least help. Sure they were an unorganized mess of fighters, but the stories she had heard told her they at least knew which end of the sword to hold.

Em's mind was more focused on what happened to Madalyne. She had to convince her to try the wolfsbane. If anything there had to be someone in the Camp who could brew potions. Gods knew there were enough magic users and such around. Or maybe the Greeks had some cure the Romans didn't know. She wasn't going to let Madalyne fall to this. At least they only had the standard responsibility of any member of the cohort and didn't have to worry about being in charge. That was something she could handle.

Location: New Rome: Senate -> Second Cohort.
Skills: Military tactics

Niah paused waiting for most of the Senators to leave before stepping over to Nancy, with the meeting adjourned she could talk to her as a friend. What in the world could she say to her to reassure her though. It all felt like lies. And Niah didn't lie if she could help it, not that she was any good at it anyway. "Nancy." She started and looked at her friend in the eyes. "We've got this." If it had been anyone else Niah would have tried to hug them. Instead, she nodded and turned to leave. She had traps to get set up with her cohort. Tasks at hand. Something to distract her from the horror of the future that maybe, just maybe they could keep from the worse possible outcome.

When she arrived at the Cohort, decked in her armor and sword on her back (though invisible), the cohort stirred. "It is time to prepare for war. The Titans are coming to us. Our task is to prepare the field with traps to defend Terminus and Camp Jupiter." As soon as she was done talking the cohort nodded and started getting ready. One ran off to find any of the others of the second cohort who weren't in place.

Arthur Stanford

Location:Argo III
Skills: N/A

Arthur followed after Andy, deciding he would go with her to the cargo hold. He knew the Gryphon was gonna be there, but he liked spending time with her, and hopefully it would be more friendly now. A part of him realized, as he heard Andy speak, that she probably never had the advantage of being able to think about what her future would be like. Granted, he didn't do it much, but he was also certain that he could, and that, whatever happened, things would work out. They were in different positions before, but now, they were in the same one. This new experience had been a unifying, everyone was, both figurately and literally, in the same boat.

Watching the Gryphon as it seemed to be kind to Andy, he smiled. It was kinda cute, even if terrifying and otherworldly. "It is nice that it's taking to you so much." He said, announcing himself, before peering over the creature. It felt weird, this thing was a creature that, if he understood the mist properly, was older than them. Naming it then, felt a bit weird. "Maybe Griff?" He suggested, waving at it. That seemed respectful enough, without presuming to think they had authority. He would think it better to think of them as equals, rather than one being strictly better than the other.
