To all my players and writing partners; Don't worry! I've not vanished or forgotten you. I've had something come up, and will be taking the rest of this week off from my RPs. See you next week!

Starting a Vampire the Masquerade campaign. Look for it in the TTRPG interest check section. I'm gonna be a story teller!

I feel torn. On one hand, I'm bored, so I want to get into some more RPs. On the other, I know once the quarantine ends, I won't have the free time to keep up with all of them. Temptation is a B.

Same Tortle race like in Savage Coast?

These tortles. Natives to Chult, I believe.
@Dark Cloud I'm thinking Tortle Grave Cleric.
If you don't have someone else wanting to join, I'd be open to rolling up a character.
You laugh, but that sounds like him ngl

What's the date in-universe?

Hadn't decided on a date... Let's say April 15, 2000.
@Dark Cloud Very important note; Not 'no problems,' less problems. Thin-bloods don't get to just walk around in the sun, without issue. They just won't immediately die from it. It can still kill them.
@pugbutter So yes we arte thy faces.

The Ventrue would be the face. Your character would be more of the brains. The Ventrue can make social issues go away with vampire magic among mortals, and prestige associated with his clan among kindred.

Thin-bloods tend to cause as many issues socially as they solve. Making a thin-blood the face of the group, in any capacity that deals with other kindred, would be like painting a 'shoot me' sign on yourself. Likewise, while you can be good at dealing with humans socially, a thin-blood will never match a ventrue for sheer charisma.
@pugbutter Seems Dark is wanting a smart/social character, too. The two of you would probably get along well... And I've got an idea for a third that, I think, would really bring the group together as a unit.

Yeah an SoB is fine. Its not hard to assume that with pilgrims on board, there's probably more than one member of the Ministorum among them. My only thing would be not to make them a Repentia since that's a pretty tall order and sort of permanent. I would suggest instead they're doing a personal penitence crusade or holy duty.

You just don't want to give me an Eviscerator.

Which is completely fair. XD
I probably know the answer, but I'll ask anyway;

Would a Sister of Battle be an option? Say, Order of the Argent Shroud. The ecclesiarch would want a representative onboard, and a sister in a self-imposed Repentia would be a great guard for a priest looking to start a church.
@pugbutter So, Dark is looking at making a thin-blood alchemist. Assuming you're okay with my idea to intro your character, I've got a pretty solid foundation as setting up the group as essentially outcasts that are put up with because the local prince really can't afford to dismiss anything that even vaguely resembles a resource, no matter how weird they are, as long as they don't threaten the masquerade.

So, what 'role' (for lack of a better term) would you ventrue be filling?
