I’ve worked min wage jobs and I’ve done the bare minimum and have still gotten the measly ten cent raises yearly and good references from them. There really is no point, bare minimum gets you by.

Grane Blauer - Capture the Fort

And there went Robert. Grane let out a sigh as the boy went into a frenzy. Who let this guy be leader again? For a moment, Robert was about to be killed by his own foolhardiness. Natural Selection in Grane's opinion, but luckily Trad saved their leader from becoming dog food. A pity. Grane decided to take this diversion created by Trad and Robert to get a few free kills, as it seemed the beowolves had forgotten about him. Grane pounced upon a passing beowolf, and it attempted to claw or bite him off. However, Grane plunged a glaive into the back of the beowolf's neck, killing it instantly. It seemed however, the rest of the wolves were focused on Trad and his barrier, leaving Grane relatively unchallenged.

Grane broke into a dead sprint towards Trad and Robert's position, throwing his glaives at two of the beowolves clawing at trad's semblance, each splitting the skull of both wolves. At this point, the beowolves turned their attention towards Grane, a few charging at him. Without his glaives, Grane merely dodged all of their attacks, putting his own semblance into practice. He finally reached his glaives and started to hack away at the beowolves.

"We better get to the fort now. More of these things are coming, and we've got wounded." Grane glanced at Robert, who didn't seem to be in a condition to lead. "Trad. You think you can carry Robert all the way to the fort? I'll hang back and delay these Grimm." Hopefully they could reach the fort and hopefully barricade themselves inside. With all the noise they were making outside, Grane hoped the grimm inside the fort rushed outside too.
Hm. It would appear that the other hunters are AWOL.

Sad, I was waiting on responses.

Bruh I literally posted right now
Elijah Harding

Elijah laughed as he saw the new hunter tense up, readying his pistol. "Get a load of this guy Locke..." It was just hilarious seeing a hunter getting antsy over a corpse. From his actions, this new hunter was a rookie, and didn't know squat in Elijah's opinion. "I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure a vampire isn't going to get up after getting it's heart crushed, I can tell you that. If you ever see a vamp regenerate a heart you may as well blow your own brains out, as you wouldn't be able to kill it. No point in tensing up for no reason. Besides, if she was still alive, you would think me and especially the boss man over there woulda made sure she didn't stay that way." Elijah kicked the dead vampire's head to emphasize his point, causing the corpse to flip over. "Though, perhaps you're so new you don't know how to properly ensure a vamp is dead?"

Elijah began pouring gasoline all over the corpse, before lighting a torch and igniting the fire with it. The corpse quickly was engulfed in flames, and the putrid smell of burning flesh quickly spread throughout the area. It was a common smell for Elijah, seeing how he was using incendiary bullets, but it was always nasty to smell. Quickly brought about a gag reflex, though over the years he'd been able to prevent himself from puking all over the place.

"Anyway, beside me and Locke, and you of course, there aren't any other hunters in the area. It'll just be us three for now. We did try and call for more hunters to help, but no luck. Seems we'll have to hold down the fort. Not to say we'll be inadequate for the job, as we both have years of experience. Locke over there has decades of it, so I suggest you stay close to him, seeing how you're scared of a fucking corpse. I'll be damned if I have to take care of you in the middle of combat either." Elijah silently hoped Locke wouldn't be too angry he dumped the responsibility of the newbie on him. Locke was the eldest anyway, it should fall upon him to watch over the rookie.

"As for what we're doing, Locke will debrief you on that. I honestly have no idea what we're going to do, seeing as our only lead is dead. Unless our vampire buds over in The Society have intel we don't." For now, it seemed the Hunters could only wait. Either for intel on where these ferals were, or for another murder to occur...
@Wraithblade6

The society would have probably gone after them after the majority of hunters put down their arms, but they'd be crippled at that point. And they would probably only know about the ones who murder humans left and right. Still gives ample reason for your character to go after the society.

On another note, the IC will be up soon.
<Snipped quote by Wraithblade6>

Since when have I stated that The Society wanted dominance? Their goal was simply to set and follow a list of restrictions to preserve both vampires and humans. There wasn't even a centralized governing force until the 1400s, and even then, they didn't attempt to gain any sort of worldwide dominance.

I think he meant his family wanted that bro.
Uh... law 3 conflicts with the cadre of underlings the Serpent has. Troublesome. How should I put that...

...And law 7 aswell. :(

You can break these laws, you just have to hide the evidence. Pretty hard to do so, but possible. Just need to find a way not to get caught by the society. She just wouldn't be able to OPENLY break these laws in front of everyone, but in private that's a diff story.
@Exodus Alrighty then. Using The CS:GO weapon set as a base, what isn't allowed from that? (Assume that all of them are civil versions.)

Negev, theres no civilian option for that, m249, but the rest if they are in semi auto I think you should be good. Maybe not the AK, but Ex is in charge with the hunter stuff so you'd have to ask him if you want that.
@Nytem4re Hm. With that in mind I think I'll make use of the armory from Counter Strike: Global Operations as a weapons base, since that would be the most realistic setup that I could think of for right now.

Does that work for everyone else?

Just think about what you have in mind and post your CS in the OOC when you're ready. We'll tell you if it's an issue, but I think you're fine.

psst....Also it's global offensive

Do the hunters have any special exceptions for weapons? Such as a "Get out of jail free" card for carrying something like a concealed sawn off double barreled shotgun? (Typically illegal.)

Also, your mention of "anything you can reasonably find" was a bit vague, so would you give me something a little more concise? Would the hunters be working with weapons bought from standard weapons retailers (And thus typically restricted to non-assault versions of things.) or would they have special military grants and be given things that are normally banned from standard sale?

Sorry, I'm a bit of a gun nut so specifics are important.

I can answer that question for you.

As stated before, hunters are pretty much not sanctioned so if you're caught with an illegal weapon yeah, no exceptions. However, Hunters are already doing illegal shit so go ahead and use an assault version if you'd like. Just don't expect yourself to have really HEAVY weaponry. Also if the cops come knocking around, you would be persecuted like any other criminal. It's basically a sign of "The Society" succeeding in their goal of blending in and vampires becoming fantasy, and as a result hunters are viewed as serial killers.

Though generally in practice with enough time/connections you would be able to get machine guns of the sort, just know that it isn't cost effective. (You're working with a civilian budget here) SO just spamming bullets isn't the smartest choice either. After all, a well placed molotov cocktail is gonna be cheaper than buying .50 cal ammo all the time, and more practical. (Not to mention the cops aren't going to go nuts over someone having a molotov than a machine gun)

Again, most hunters don't have high end jobs where they can buy the BEST weapons. Just look at mine and Exodus's. Exodus's is a rare case where he does actually have the moola, so he has a pistol, a shotgun, and a rifle, while mine only has a shotgun. He also has to buy ammo for all three guns.

That being said, you can reasonably have assault weapons. Just know you're gonna have to be able to keep these weapons out of sight at times, so concealment is something you'd have to deal with. While it may not be ILLEGAL to necessarily own some of these assault weapons, walking with one in broad daylight is going to bring attention to you.
I talked to Kidd and she had accepted my hunter CS, so I went ahead and posted it in the character tab.
