The project UWOA (Under Water World of Atlas), started because the earth as we knew it was crippling itself from mother nature. The continents began to move around, smog from Volcano's roamed the skies, animals, plants, and humans started to decay under the rules of mother nature and god himself.
Through the natural process of the world placing self destruction, nuclear warfare broke out amongst the crowds, and scientists raced to figure out how they could colonize space. These plans of colonizing space failed drastically and could not become realistic. In the rush to figure out how to save a diverse and decent amount of civilization, animal populations and species, plant-life, scientists and engineers figured out how to colonize underwater.

Everyone and everything that went down under the ocean's surface, agreed to never return to the top, though they did not care for everything was decaying anyways. Crookedness road into the Atlas project and the government that became entitled began to run Atlas without a second thought. In return of safety the majority of people did not complain, they had jobs, a new life, and had to move on.

Upon the creation of Atlas (or Atli for plural reference), the old governments brought down animals, plants, and humans to move civilization and life forward for the future. This was roughly 425 years ago.

The Artificial Mines

The Artificial Mines

These mines do not have local access, only government or specialized officials (mine workers or anybody that has been deemed fit for access by the government) can enter these locations. There are plenty of Artificial mines that are attached to all Atlas bases, they are usually deep under and are in between the pressure of the water and the actual earth. The governments are digging into the earth for resources and unknown reasons.

The Cities

The Cities

Multiple cities (referred to as Atlas or Atli), they mainly look the same and have the same layouts. Differentiation consists with the people and the culture, naturally, but each has its own type of government. The government system here is fractions and the heads make up the council of Atlas.

The Centers

The Center(s)

These Centers are the closest anyone will get to the surface, they are right under the water, and they have desks with built in computers. The foundation of centers are to be similar to libraries except all digital based and they use solar panels to provide electricity to the people under the surface.

The Halls

The Halls

These halls connect all the different Atli together and connect to the Artificial mine locations. Most people do not enter the halls even though there isn't forbidden access to any of the corridors. The issue is that a lot of people have disappeared or/and have gotten lost down in the halls without the tour guides. Many people say they are haunted by the ones who built them and died to save everyone else years ago.

The Gardens

The Gardens

Originally there was five Atlas Gardens and they were called the Pentagon of Civilization, but one was lost to sever damage. The damage was from fault and the pressure blew the structure. This caused flooding and the main doors to be manually shut down so the leaking wouldn't fill the North-west Halls of Atlas.
The Gardens hold all the different types of plants that were brought down and more. With advancements in science from living down in the oceans, new hybrids have been created, found, and sustained to flourish.

The Surface

Many things have been lost from the surface over the 400 plus years that people have lived down in Atlas. Though the government is keeping secrets of the surface from the individuals trapped underwater. Around 300 years ago, they could have deemed the surface to be live-able. Adapted humans, animals, and plants live along each other in a different civilization base than the people in Atlas.
A sense of magic came back to the world after the loss of critical information like nuclear weaponry, population, and technology on the surface.

What magic you ask?

The magic is not like elves or hobbits, the magic is from nature itself. People on the surface have adapted to harness mother natures energy that lies around them. They can heal, defend, and attack with such abilities. Glowing particles that guide them through the path of life they have to take to harness such power; about 40% of the surface population has these abilities.

The basic idea is that people will start either on the surface or underwater, people on both ends have began to speak about what happened to people who lived on the surface or who went under the surface. While the government underwater stops and goes so far to kill the individuals who try to discover the surface, the people of Atlas (or the group that wants to figure the truth out about the earths state) has to fight their way to freedom and to the top.

While the people who want to help, or figure out there are people down there are trying to enter Atlas. This is causing flooding, system failure, and many other issues which cause people (characters) to actually question if there is something trying to get in. This might spark the realization of other people who have lived outside of Atlas and on the surface.

The young elven blood did not bear any magic in his body, only skill, and determination. It was before sun-rise in the east and the nightly rain was slowly picking up, forming dew on all the heavenly flowers, and leather boots padded the ground while running. A sharpened arrow glinted in the morning sunrise, a flash, and a rip of the bow. A stinging noise set out upon fire before a thud was placed on a particularly dull pattern. A common pattern fell to the ground under the rising sun, a snow-white elf gracefully walked over to the small hill of the creature.
An open eye with faded essence looked upon him, as he knelt down, praying for his safe return to the spirit world, "I am sorry my sister, I hope you travel safe and unharmed to your new home. I hope you let your nutrients fill the mouths of plenty and you understand the circle of life." Princess Kivessin wasn't one to ignore the circle of life or not wish something safe passage to the spirit realm. After the ritual of the elven community was bestowed on the doe, Kivessin began to process the animal.

Small time skip

After processing the animal and hoisting it up over his shoulders, Princess Kivessin returned home.

Princess Aelua Aeynore

Kivessin was walking through the door of the royal house, making his way to the butcher area of the kingdom, and Aelua stood there with wide eyes. Even though the royal children were the same age, they were on completely different spectrums of emotional and mental strength, "Kiv..." Aelua began to stutter while seeing the soulless animal, tears came to her eyes, "...did you?" Asking with a soft voice.

Kivessin looked at his sister with a forced faint smile, "Yes. We need to eat." He explained quickly while passing.

Aelua seemed to stare down at the ground while holding her hands within each other, she understood that they needed to eat, but she wasn't much of a meat-eater when it came to breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Standing there in a few thoughts, she decided to ignore her brother's actions, and go back to studying.

Shutting the door that she just came out of, deciding to return to the knowledge-bound leather, Aelua closed the door without much noise. Returning to the ottoman that sat beside a window, picking up the book, and plopping down gently. Getting into a comfortable position before continuing her reading, she wasn't hungry anymore, and wouldn't be participating in breakfast this morning. She understood this would alert one or both of her parents to come to check on her, but she would gladly explain seeing animals in such a state would cause her appetite to dissipate.
