It's because he's old and has a tragic backstory. Fate took pity.

Hey, at least fate took pity. Its sometimes a blessing in disguise. Lol. Let's see if you can keep up the good outcome record in future ones too.
Ray #'s
Case 1 = 1
Situation: You're out of the office! This might not be a good surprise!
Case 2 = 82
Situation: You hit a road block in your work.
Case 3 = 55
Situation: Nothing significant
Case 4 = 85
Situation: You stop something bad from happening to your colleagues!

Lucian #'s
Case 1 = 85
Situation: Nothing significant
Case 2 = 62
Situation: You find yourself in hand-to-hand combat with a young athletic college student
Case 3 = 66
Situation: You get led into the wrong direction!
Case 4 = 2, 98
Situation: You get shot at least once
You have to make a tough decision, is it tough though?
1. 69 (Nice)
2. 2
3. 42
4. 88

Lord Wraith #'s
Case 1 = 69, very nice.
Situation: You shoot the unsub
Case 2 = 2
Situation: You will be given a helpful clue or hint!
Case 3 = 42
Situation: You will be given a helpful clue or hint!
Case 4 = 88
Situation: You stop something bad from happening to one of your colleagues!

Comments, concerns, or questions about these numbers and outcomes? You somehow got all good ones, in a sense. lol.
Here are my numbers!
1. 75
2. 24
3. 57
4. 36

Dwyer Austin #’s
Case 1 = 75
Situation: Fist to Fist combat with unsub
Case 2 = 24
Situation: Nothing
Case 3 = 57
Situation: Nothing significant
Case 4 = 36
Situation: Fist-to-fist fighting might happen? Though, your character is placed into a tough situation by another character or the situation leading up to this decision.

If you have any comments or concerns, we can talk about these outcomes.
I know that it has been some time since I proposed the ideas of cases and I am asking all of you to choose a set of 5 numbers between 00 and 99.

Order them as:
1.
2.
3.
4.

You can either use a dice generation, number generator or choose the numbers you like. You just have to supply at least one set of numbers to 1 - 4. The titled 1. - 4. are the cases we discussed beforehand. Depending on the numbers you choose, something bad or good will happen during this case to your character. This will be randomly determined on my part by generating a list of outcomes and assigning them to whoever gets closest to that number.

No character is killable unless discussed between me and the owner of that character. Unless you as the owner state that your character has been shot 6+ times in the chest or was in some unlivable situation. These incidents will occur only during these cases and I will inform you of what these happenings are, so you can attempt to argue against them if you wish.

Good luck on choosing your numbers *mischievous smirk*

Note: You can figure out the numbers you want between 00 and 99 and order them in any case you want. You can even have multiple sets of numbers per case (If you wish to take your chances). After figuring the numbers out, you can place them into whatever order/case you want of your choosing.
Though, I will warn you. Once you post this little list of numbers, I copy it and put it into my google sheet for this roleplay. There will be no changing your admission to fate.

Chief Neagoe was not aware that he was giving Special Agent Stannis a look, and he probably wouldn’t know unless she brought it to his attention. Being in his own world, he was caught up in his thoughts about this whole case and everyone on it, or supposed to be on it.

Sir

Glancing at SSA Stannis, he appeared tired in a way, “Yes? ” he questioned in a deep voice that had the echo of patience in it. He knew she had something to say about the case since her tone of voice changed from the friendly mom to the semi-serious and thoughtful agent she was.
Thinking only for a second or two before replying, “That is a theory we will want to look into. I wonder if the medical examiner knows the cause of the lacerations or if this is still unknown,” he mentioned his thoughts about the medical examiner. There could be evidence of material that could lead them to the assumption of straps or bindings to be used.

Medical Examiner, earlier that day

The medical examiner at the Milwaukee police station gave their assumption on what could be seen by the eye. Dr. Bob Farley was the medical examiner for this station and he found a lot of important and not-so-important evidence as to who this unsub might be.
Faxing the file to Chief Neagoe earlier that day was probably the best they could do in the situation while letting the medical examiner dig up more information. While examining the bodies, Dr. Farley found out that the women were drowned, the cause of death? No, the cause of death was most likely the lack of blood from the lacerations on the wrists. Both women had an extremely low amount of blood in their system showing that they were drained to death.
Dr. Farley would assume that the women were drained to death of their blood before being merged into water which filled their lungs. Why would someone kill another person like this? This all happened after the multiple assaults on both women and at least holding them for 48 hours.

Once the team got to the Milwaukee station, whoever went to see the medical examiner would find the older man working on the second body. He was thoroughly going over the bodies at least twice to make sure he had gotten everything that he could to help the unit.

Grabbing the file again, Lucian could not help himself, he needed to look into it again to try and make more assumptions. Stannis caused a spark and he needed to figure out if her theory was getting at something.
Lacerations not only on the wrists but ankles as well.
Both women were dropped off in public, easy access locations at night.
Both women shared petiteness.

Either this was a woman attacking other women, doubtful, so they had to be dealing with someone that had to have strength issues. “Either our unsub is lacking in strength or he is handicapped in some way. He is dropping his victims off in easy access locations, they are both petite, and, as Samantha mentioned, they have lacerations on their wrists that could be an indication of needing help on restraining them,” Lucian stated to the team while glancing down at the file.

Over the single speaker in the plane, the pilot decided to pitch in and inform everyone that the plane was landing in 15 minutes. That he would appreciate everyone staying seated till further notice.

Someone help me!

Unknowing to the police department and the agents who were on their way to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The unsub was already at their twisted game, another petite woman was strapped down to the bed. Already having to go through the brutal process of what this unsub has done to past victims.
An unknown man walked into the darkened room, “Shhh. Shh. If you scream any louder, I am going to have to cut out your tongue.” he told the woman who was surprisingly younger than the first two victims. His first two were at least above the age of 30 to 35 and she was no more than 25 years old. Though, she shared a petite body, lush blonde curls, and blue eyes.
Instantly biting on her own tongue, she tried to not cry in this situation, but she couldn’t help it. “Please, let me go.” she asked and barely to the end of her sentence, the unsub grabbed a breakable item in the room before throwing it onto the ground. Causing the item to shatter into pieces. She couldn’t help herself but scream.
What did I tell you about screaming and asking me to let you go!?” he shouted. She began to repeatedly apologize and promise not to do it again. The unknown girl was trying to adapt to what her captor wanted.

Ray and Darin were back in Quantico, fiddling in Ray’s little ‘office’, and his computers were booted up. Listening to the other agent explain the details of the case, he nodded his head, “Mhm…mhm…” nodding his head to let Darin know he was trying his best to give his full undivided attention.
So, I think you’re saying that I should be looking for cases that include petite, blondes, who have lacerations around their joints but are not limited to these factors. This means I should be searching for similar cases in Milwaukee. Got it.” Was Ray overstepping? Did he really listen to everything that Darin had to say and was he on the right path to find any past evidence that could lead to such an unsub?

Ray began to start his search for past Jane Doe or cases that were extremely similar to this one in the surrounding area. If he found nothing, he would end up searching a broader area before coming to the conclusion that the unsub might be beginning his hunts and rituals.

Hi guys. I apologize for falling drastically behind. I lost my grandma this week and it's been a bit crazy with Easter on top of that. I promise I'll be on again once everything quiets down a little at my parents' house and I'm back at my apartment.

I am sorry for your loss, Artemis. Do not worry about rushing to get something posted! I and everyone else understand that it is a holiday month and we definitely understand that someone needs time when a loved one passes. Just enjoy the holidays and being with your family. Take as much time as you need to heal through this process!

Also, if you need someone to talk to. You can always DM me, but I do not know how well I will do with comforting words or attempts to relieve stress.

Ray was trying to figure out if the profiler was profiling him or not, but he couldn’t tell - he isn’t one for a reason. Staring at the other young man with accusing eyes, he debated if he should let him in or not, “Uh-huh,” Ray said in a thought. Was he going to let Darin in or keep giving him that semi-stupid look that he fazed into?

Opening the door up for the other individual when it was stated that he got to play ‘boss’ till the others come back. “Really!? I get to be boss?” He couldn’t believe his ears. He was allowed to be the boss till the team got back, he was excited, but he was torn in thought about the case.
Clearing his throat, Ray tried to toughen right up and become ‘boss’, “First order, tell your boss about this case and what is happening. I know, I already know, but I wanna know what you know,” Ray had finger guns pointed at Darin while Ray backed out of the door to allow the comrade into the Ray Lair.
Practically running over to his desk chair, he hopped right into it, and turned on his stuff, “Leave the door open or close, your choice,” waving his hand in a careless way to state that he did not care what Darin chose.

Once the computer lights turned on, he quickly logged in, and he began to bring up certain tabs. “Is there any recorded evidence? Unknown DNA? Fingerprints. Maybe images of the criminal?” Ray started talking a million miles an hour while asking about the case and he was already trying to figure out if he could find a name to the unknown assailant.

Lucian did not want to be tough on others, especially in the hours of new cases being accepted. Everyone had difficult times when a new case came in, even if it wasn’t personal, it still bothered you in some way. Hearing the click on the call end caused him to sigh, exaggerated, as he decided to remove himself from the group and sit the farthest that he could on the plane away from everyone else.

He knew that Darin was new, but the agent was also ten months old on this career path, he wouldn’t be missing, but he understood that the young man had a routine - everyone did. Some people wouldn’t get used to the random call-ins till after the first year. Staring at the window, he was thinking of Darin and what he needed to talk to him about when they all got back to Quantico.

Getting back to Quantico was not going to be far away. This killer was right in the heart of Milwaukee and targeted specific women. In his opinion, they were going to find the predator fast since it seemed like he was devolving and evolving at the same time. Yes, the individual was starting to form a whole file for himself.

Ray, having his own office space to work on his magic; programming, hacking, and more for the team's benefit could hide easily over a weekend. The young man was recently kicked out of his room that he was subleasing from a friend over stupid arguments - he might have left more than got kicked out last Wednesday.
Deciding to move a chaise into the room on Thursday night when everyone else was either at home or not paying attention. He has been living in his office since then while searching for studio or one-bedroom apartments for cheap.

Why was Ray kicked out or left by choice? His roommate was the complete opposite of how he wanted to keep his living space. Never getting diagnosed with Obsessive-compulsive disorder or Obsessive-compulsive personality disorder; he most likely had one of those when it came to how spotless his workplace was and living area.
He was sleeping in the office when a knock on the door could be heard and instantly panicked. Looking at the door, he sat up and thought about his decisions before stepping out of the make-shift bed he had for himself, “Who is it?” His voice was a bit shaky. Anxiety? He was worried that the person who was knocking was either the Unit Chief or Section Chief. Scrambling to fix up the place to make it look like he was not sleeping where he was just sleeping.

Walking over, he opened the door in somewhat of an odd fashion to hide what was behind him. “Oh, it’s you. What’s up?” Ray was completely out of the loop. He hadn’t even checked his phone to see that they got a call, so he was on the same page as Darin. The only difference between them was that Ray wasn’t usually hopping on the plane to the scene. Once his nerves settled upon the appearance of Darin, Ray could only smile.

Lucian decided it was best to remove himself from the conversation when Thoreau joined and Stannis began to apologize to Chris. He had nothing to apologize for, in his eyes, but he understood that he could have been coming on a bit too strong for the recruit. Though he has seen recruits begin to get into the domino effect of ‘why’ before putting their notice in before passing six months or getting to a year because of this job - he wouldn’t blame Chris if she couldn’t handle this line of work. Sometimes he considered the fact that he couldn’t handle it either and he has been in the business for over a decade.

The team started talking about Darin more, and he seemed to tighten up a bit. Lucian was trying to hide his dissatisfaction with the young man not showing. He understood it was Memorial Day weekend, parties were happening, but Chris came to work on time after a bit of fun. He would be lying if he didn’t say he had a hangover that was bothering him from yesterday. He didn’t find not arriving on time for any reason to be an excuse. The kid could have shown up fifteen, twenty, or 30 minutes late and would have made it.

Lucian gave that known sideways look at Stannis when she asked if he was going to be let go. It was practically a death glare, “I am going to talk to him in my office when we get back to Quantico,” A faint smile appeared which was a sign of him trying to cover up what he was feeling about it. “Forget about Darin right now, focus on the case,” he stated before his phone started to ring.

Staring at the phone, he let it ring about halfway into all of its rings before voicemail and picked the phone up, “Darin,” his voice sounded strict and gruff, similar to how he talked to local police and sheriffs when they were trying to step over him or not cooperative for the victims and their families sake.
What was his plan for this phone call? Lucian was going to get down to the point. “I noticed that you were not on the plane,” he was not going to give Darin much of an option to talk at first but listen. “You will be working alongside Ray on this mission, listen to him, he will be your boss till I get back. Help him do his research and everything else and we will have a talk in my office upon arrival in Quantico. Hopefully, that sounds good?” He left his little paragraph of words with a question at the end to leave it open if Darin had anything to say.
Everyone knew that putting Ray in charge of anything was not the best idea, it would stroke his ego, and be his favorite topic of the week. Along with knowing that putting Ray in charge was most likely a bad idea, everyone knew that it was one simple way that Lucian could punish Darin for missing the call.

As the Unit Chief, he needed to be strict and remind the recruits that this was a job that they were on call for. He understood that it was aggravating, but he has been called in during many difficult, embarrassing, and unforgettable situations throughout his time at the B.A.U. Lucian was trying his best to not scare any of the recruits away before the year was up.
