Why were you hired/recruited?
Jessica spent the majority of her career in Baltimore with the city’s police department, finding the bulk of her experiences in a response team before shifting into investigative work. She was recruited when cases of interest to the Baltimore PD as well as the federal government crossed paths when a Serbian terrorist named Ana Sofrenović threatened national security. Working alongside NCIS was an experience that piqued interest and she resigned from the Baltimore PD not long after.

Hey! This looks really interesting and I've been looking for something a bit more modern/slice of life! My only concern is that I don't actually watch much TV and I've never really watched police/detective shows other than The Sinner. Do you think this would be a problem if I were to apply? Totally fine if you think so I won't take offence!

I do not think you need to have watched crime/police/detective shows. Yes, the inspiration is from shows, but you do not need to have any knowledge about it. If you have a basic understanding along with a creative mind in a sense, you will do fine!

So we're going with NCIS operatives? Just got to think about past experience and their career trajectory to get into NCIS. Good to know.

Yes, you can go more of an NCIS operatives route. We are pretty much mixing up NCIS with Criminal Minds and like shows. So, they can do things out of the country and have more dramatic events in higher risk and stress situations.
