I appreciate a familiar face or three! Have you read any of the Future State comics? SHAZAM introduces a new Question who's ID is unknown. Shazam mentions Vic is dead, he's definitely not Montoya, and mentions "Drake was killed..."

When I thought about it, Tim Drake would make a badass Q. I just can't tell how they're spinning certain characters because a bunch of it seems random af. Like Detective Chimp being the other half of Etrigan the Demon, Luke Fox's BROTHER being Batman, Nightwing basically becoming the new Deathstroke, Shazam having his own team of C-listers including Bunker, Q, Vixen, and others... not to mention each book is like it's own possible future and the majority of them are barely connected at all.

It's been a while since we last RP'd but I'm definitely down for another KL JLU game. I'm thinking of playing Captain Atom or S.T.R.I.P.E. if they're available.

Make one of them your Primary and if you want to use the other sporadically make them your Secondary choice. Seeing so many of you guys using classics like Q, Captain Atom, and Shazam is always a plus. Many people don't realize how many comic companies DC has bought and barely done anything with their concepts. Seeing Charlton, Fawcett, Quality, and even Milestone and Wildstorm characters represented ANYWHERE makes me smile.

I just thought about bringing in Wildstorm's Union into this as the crashed alien hero/my Primary, since he got dicked out of his shot at becoming a member of the JL United during the New52. Other characters who were supposed to be part of the team included Metamorpho and B'Wana Beast so I might use one of them for my Secondary.

I'm so excited for this.

Oh! And before I forget my 11 year old took over my old Discord account and I've still yet to make a new one. I think the old JL channels helped with collaborating on posts and fleshing out ideas so if anybody is up for that kinda team building I'd welcome it again. Especially if there are heroes living/working in the HQ.

I dig the theme, but in the past every DC/Marvel shared universe RP I've attempted to join I got turned down for one reason or another.

Part of me reeeeally wants to try an Armor/Kyle Rayner GL combo called Sentinel if the X-Men are a thing. Essentially a male version of Armor with a green armor rather than red. Is that changing too much?

AMONG US

The Justice League had seen better days. After Coast City had been infected with a techno virus by Brainiac, the United States had no other option than to blow it off the map to keep the virus from spreading like wildfire. With most of his family now gone, Green Lantern decided that Earth had enough heroes and cut ties to better protect the rest of sector 2814. Superman was now a father and spending less time with the League as well and Batman was only ever a part-time member at best. Wonder Woman and the Flash kept the dream alive and saw over the expansion of the team, now called the Justice League Unlimited. Several heroes young and old were accepted into their ranks to better protect the planet. Their mettle would be tested however, when the crashed spaceship of [insert alien hero from cast] would also come with a warning: White Martians are planning to invade Earth. And there is already at least one traitor among the new League.

After my kid read the opener he immediately drew comparisons to ‘Among Us’ and I can’t say that I’ve played the game, but I see the similarities. Also worked it into the title to grab y’all’s attention LOL. What I’m looking for is a cast of about 7 or 8 players, with an equal number of originals with reworked cannon characters. I’ll add a couple NPC’s other than Flash and WW, and if nobody wants to be the crashed alien hero I can be that guy or make it one of the NPC’s. The core 5 Leaguers are off the table but if the game moves forward beyond the initial arc or two we can do secondary characters to up the number of heroes on the team if anybody would be up for that sort of thing.

For anybody unfamiliar with White Martians… just imagine an alabaster psycho version of Martian Manhunter. All the powers of Superman with the addition of telepathy, shapeshifting, and sometimes even telekinesis… the White Martians can be super OP. However like J’onn their weakness is fire. We’ll also be facing a few familiar enemies out of the gate including Giganta, Major Force, Deadshot, and Solomon Grundy. If anybody wants to be the traitor let me know in a PM before filling out a Character Sheet, that way we can work on smaller details so there isn’t too much foreshadowing. The imposter will be the main subplot and span across the first couple of missions in-game and lead to an eventual confrontation with a larger group of Martians. We could even have more than one traitor…

If you want to explore character evolution then let us know in the Character Sheet, or if you just want to write a consistent character throughout that’s cool too. If another player is someone who’s writing compliments your own or you’ve RP’ed with before then collaborate! Some of the best duos, rivalries, and relationships in comics came from the Justice League like Hawkman and the Atom, Blue Beetle and Booster Gold, Green Arrow and Black Canary….

Tell us how to beat your character. Not how to defeat them short term but what attacks can hurt them and affect them like everyone else and possibly kill them.

Outside of your powers what can your character do? Good with computers? Know waaaay too much about tv and movies? Good at sneaking around? Know how to fix a car?

Appearance:
What does your hero look like [I’ll try and make micros for anybody who wants them]

BRIEF Bio:
DON’T get long winded.

Supporting Characters:
This is where you’d list anybody of note from your character's more personal supporting cast. For somebody like Superman this would include Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, and his boss Perry White.

Secondary Character:
This is simply where you put down who you might want as your secondary character be it original, cannon inspired, or reimagined cannon. If somebody applies with this character as their Primary it will likely need to be changed!

Sorry for my disappearance, I and in turn my whole household got the 'Rona. I should've probably checked in a lot sooner but I couldn't do anything without my wife or kid needing me for something. We took all the precautions with masks, sanitizer, etc. and somehow managed to still bring it into our household. It was likely my fault because my wife and kid both work and go to school online from home, and there was a recent outbreak at the production plant I work in.

I'm off work and disease free until Monday the 4th, however I have no idea where this story was going back when it was still active. I know we had the Gotham arc planned, but other than that I'm drawing blanks. I had an idea for a Justice League Unlimited type RP that doesn't begin with Superman dying, so if any of you would be game for something like that let me know.

I'm trying to get a decent post going primarily for Gotham, but I fractured my wrist at work and I'm trying to take it easy and typing with one hand is taking forever.

Gotham….

He ran through the city with the super steroid Venom coursing through his veins. Bricks fell from the edges of buildings as his giant feet took him from rooftop to rooftop. Once upon a time the behemoth broke the Batman. Now, weeks after an alien monster broke the Batman as well as his car, Bane has taken up the mask and cowl. Several of Batman’s longtime foes have been defeated and thrown into GCPD holding cells, including the Scarecrow, Scarface, and the Riddler. Police officers refusing to work with Bane were also thrown into the cells. His goons were wearing the colors of Batman’s sidekicks, and ‘patrolling’ the slums of Gotham. The city had seen better days.

Metropolis….

Black Lightning greeted the heroes who returned to Outreach: 1. Several of the Supermen had personal quarters in the HQ, which made life much easier for some of them. Not everyone could work a day job and pay bills. Super-hero’ing was all that some of them had. Obsidian carried both halves of the android Red Tornado’s body with shadow constructs and Jefferson smirked. Tornado was always getting ripped to pieces. In a few days he’d be repaired and good as new. Longshadow approached the entrance and had an upset look on his face.

“What’s the matter, Tye?” Lightning asked putting his hand on the young man’s shoulder as he tried to just walk on by.

“Grodd got away… and Congorilla still doesn’t know where his wife and kid are being held. It just feels like no matter what we do… we’ll never be able to replace Superman…” Longshadow responded with his head down looking at the ground beneath them.

“Only six people lost their lives in Central City today, and you guys saved the Flash. It would have been a lot worse without the Supermen.” Black Lightning said, merely stating the facts.

“Yeah, I guess so… Grodd disappeared after putting the Flash’s lightning or whatever in a bottle.” Longshadow continued walking through the lobby of the HQ with the more experienced hero.

“The Flash calls it the Speed Force. I’m sure whatever Grodd wanted it for, it couldn’t have been good…” Lightning continued as they both walked towards the elevators.

“Nightwing had some theories. How’d the radio station thing go?” Tye asked as they both entered the elevator after the laughing Heckler stepped out talking to himself.

Sorry I haven't touched base in a few days, been kinda sick and praying to God I don't have Covid. I'm still working on the end of my next post and about to post what I've got. It doesn't set up the Gotham arc as much as it does finishing off the first. When I get the ending finished I'll start work on something more Gotham centered. Thanks for sticking around!
