Hello out there! My name's Mason. I like a lot of random stuff like comics, Masters of the Universe, M*A*S*H, X-Files, conspiracy theories, as well as a good superhero themed role play! I'm more of a DC freak than a Marvel zombie but I did grow up on mutants and 3rd string heroes. Once in awhile I'll make a few micros in MSPaint for my RP's because I love designing heroes as much as I do writing/reading about them. I'm about to try and get another Amalgam Universe themed game off the ground, if you're interested gimme a shout!

I've been RP'ing for awhile. I mostly RP to keep my writing skills up to par, and I generally RP between Casual and Advanced. I've been a member of the guild for quite a bit, pre Guildfall even. Ninety percent of the time you'll find me in some superhero themed RP or something based off of another fandom like MotU or Power Rangers. Currently in the process of developing my own comics!
Favorite DC heroes (I won't go into villains to save space) in no order: Aquaman, Hawkman, Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner), Superboy (the clone), Swamp Thing, Starman, Animal Man, the Ray (90's era), Impulse, Captain Atom, and Batman Beyond.
Favorite Marvel heroes list: Human Torch I & II, Capt. Mar-Vell, Black Bolt, the classic Destroyer, Havok, Multiple Man, classic Scarlet Spider, Spiderman 2099, Nova, and Colossus.
OTHER FAVORITES: Space Ghost, Haunt, the Maxx, Shadowhawk, Green Hornet, Madman, Doctor Star/Andromeda, the Phantom, He-Man, and Zorro.

I will be submitting a CS soon. Curious, though: Given that Masters of the Universe is such a smorgasbord of humanoid creatures with wild and vague backgrounds, would you be oppose to players creating their own races, or would you prefer established races only?
You can totally make your own. I'd love to see the more established ones, but whatever suits the player.

However I'm looking for more completed CS's before starting the OOC or IC too quickly. You don't have to be a huge He-Man fan to enjoy this. If swords and sorcery with a tad bit of tech involved is your thing, or you're a fan of 80's cartoons, this game is for you!

As far as the in-game continuity and what's considered cannon, this will be more inspired by the 200X series than anything but there will be changes here and there depending on which characters and types players choose to go with. I'm pretty pumped for this.

I'm working on a set of micros players can use to create their own looks if they want. Doing the basic body types like the old figs with some more modern visuals. Finished He-Man earlier....
With so much going on with He-Man and the MotU I figured now was my best shot at getting an RP off the ground. The basic premise would be He-Man and Skeletor both disappeared in an explosion of energy in a battle one year earlier. There is no power sword in play. The Masters have *mostly* disbanded and the Royal Guard of Eternia alone are no match for the forces of the Lord of Chaos.
The Lord of Chaos is essentially another character with ties to the Jack Kirby elements of MotU I came up with for this. He'll show up early on and take a stab at Zodac to set up the formation of the Legends. While visually he'll take cues from Galactus, his chief agent the Silver Swordsman will obviously have similar traits to another well known character. Players can bring in a character with ties to any of the characters from past lore, update a character like more recent projects in animation and action figures, or create one completely from scratch. While any other time of the year I'd use an obscure character like Tug O'War or create my own... for this I'm going to stick with one of my favorites from the beginning... FISTO.
Just throwing this up to gauge interest, if there's enough I'll come up with a Character Sheet model and micro images for characters and the villains I mentioned before.

@WXer He mentioned something about school the other day on Discord. Still nothing from our Frankenstein since his initial post though. Bout to focus on making the stats for the opening of that Charlton project, and I've got a wild hair to start something involving Ben10 too...
