Though, the cloak needs a bit of a rework. It shouldn't offer more protection than the equivalent of D-Rank Magic Resistance (Negates instant and single action spells, which more or less cripples almost all mages in the world), but the way it's written it can block anything all the way to A Rank as long as it's some form of magical energy projectile. That's a bit too exaggerated even for a Servant to have unless it's like a Noble Phantasm or something like this.

While the idea is good. We have a few issues here.

I could allow Proof of Friendship to stay if you already didn't have a composite skill as the 1st of your skills despite my request to avoid those when they aren't absolutely needed.

Even taking Proof of Friendship out, I feel unsure about accepting that composite skill because it's two really strong effects combined into one. Natural Body alone would make more sense with the angle you are going with, in my opinion.

Also, no using Rho Aias as an offensive attack. That goes completely against the intent of the Noble Phantasm.
Anyway, since we have most of the Servants done already, I'd like to say that we will likely be beginning this soon.

I'll get the 1st post up no later than the next weekend, maybe before it. Anyone who's ready will be welcome to reply and those who aren't will get a few more days to finish their characters, without being unfair to anyone.

I know that one thing that kills the mood for these Fate RPs is that people finish the Servants ASAP and then take forever to do the mages and pair up. I don't want this to be a problem here so we will move ahead and (if need be) reopen the slots/fill up with NPCs.
Looking for a specific Master, but just anyone with okay circuits and goodish intentions should be fine to pair with! If anyone would like to pair, just let me know~


Well, Daisuke makes the most sense for Rider (maybe he was trying to summon just the horse) but the pairings waste up to you all.
@Parallel Hearts to be honest Absolam is kinda justified for two, since he's related to David and Solomon who both have 3.

But I can remove the fire NP, and focus on the more small scale magic he creates.


That would likely be the most agreeable option, it seems.

Yo! Just got off of work earlier than the usual shift. Which is at least a treat. XD

But i have been looking over Absalom, and i did want to say one something about this in general. Not wanting to sound like i hate Absalom, he's p cool actually, but just to get this potential thing addressed is all this is. Course it is the GM's call in the end, but just wanted to note this to bring up my own immediate worry at least. ^^;

It's a mental interference skill so it actually can be countered by a Mage's Resistance ability, a Servant's Magic Resistance Skill, or skills that block mental interference, like Bravery, etc. It surely makes him hard to attack, the same way that fighting Diarmuid is supposed to be hard if you are a woman, but it's doable for an opponent of high enough caliber.

Not to say that this skill is useless either but it's not the kind of thing that would save you from a Saber, or Lancer hellbent on killing you for example.

And, even if you absolutely can't find a way to overcome it, there are other ways of dealing with him that don't rely on attacking.

Mind Control is an unreliable technique against magical beings in the Nasuverse. I said this to @Reflection earlier since (while Assassin is perfectly within the parameters of what we've seen in canon, remembering that mind control tends to be an unreliable plot device in nearly all Fate works) relying on mind control as his primary tool is very likely to lead to frustration on either theirs or someone else's side.

This is why I decided to ask whether or not everyone was onboard with it. If it's really not the kind of thing you are interested into playing against, I can always ask @Reflection to use the other Assassin idea since it much less contentious than this one.

It's not worth it having anyone be uncomfortable with this idea when there's another viable alternative.

The other one was actually my preferred option between the two ones I saw. Even if it's a Japanese, I don't believe it would be that much of a problem.

As for this one, I suppose that your point of view is right but not necessarily in saying that Archer and Berserker would deserve another NP just because Assassin has two.

On the other hand, Assassin's second Noble Phantasm could be removed since the fire is already his normal attack and being able to use an AoE version is expected of him there's no explicit need for a Noble Phantasm version in this case. I imagine that @Reflection would be alright with it as well.
Calling it now, assassin team will create a cult.

Mind control aside, though, the guy has 2 NPs. Personally, I do not mind, as without the fire one he seems pretty weak if strategic use of mind control is not employed, but I thought that was a pretty strict rule for non riders?


It actually is. This is why I asked @Reflection to bring it up here since I'm kinda unsure about what to do with Assassin. That's a much less straightforward character than any of the others in the RP so if everyone is ok with giving him a go, I could greenlight him, if not we can still try to strike some balance.
@Parallel Hearts I've adding an additional section to Archer's NP description and I've replaced Animal Dialogue with Eye of the Mind (False). He should be ready to go now.


Short of the lack of appearance, he's good enough already.

Like I said if people are ok with playing against a character loaded with mind control abilities (or rather, whose primary gimmick is mind control), he's ok on my end.

Correct, but actually Shielders have three Class Skills:

Self-Defense Field, Magic Resistance, and Riding

The Anti-Fortress is a matter of just saying hey it’s Longinus so it’s the same as Rhongo.

Not that he uses it as a beam so it’s just there for flavor.

As a technique that targets and focuses himself it’s anti-unit.


I see. But even so, being regarded in the same light as Rhon doesn't mean to be the same class of Noble Phantasm. They form a trio with Romulus' spear (and it's not an Anti-Fortress, but instead Anti-Army). I feel that considering what made it famous, Longinus works better as the anti-Unit to complete the trio, but Anti-Army is ok as well if need be.
