]While the chaos unfolded, Belladonna distinctly heard Terneus screaming in rage. The effort it took to muffle her giggles was astounding. Belle followed the elves around the corner of a nearby building. Once out of view, Belle became visible once more. She sighed and looked at the elves with a twinkle in her eye. She had watched Regulus grab Ilan and run with Morgayne in tow. Baraian and Kuroi had escaped as well. The governor's soldiers were too busy being attacked by Morgaynes' animals and insects to help him. She thought she had seen the governor slip from view but hadn't seen where he had gone. She shrugged it off for now and looked at the elves. Everyone had escaped; that had been the goal. Ilan's lyre was safe as well. She had watched Regulus start galloping away at full speed. If she remembered correctly, they were going to the infirmary. She wasn't certain though; the city was quite confusing for her.

"You lead, ladies." Belladonna gestured to the city. "I'm open to anywhere that's off the streets and away from the marketplace. We have to blend into the crowd, now." Rosemary nodded in agreement and took her hand gently to lead her towards a bar with Elleta on her other side. They looked like a family of Elven women to anyone on the outside. As they moved towards it, Belladonna gazed around at the citizens. She saw a dark skinned women next to - wait, was that a cat? Belle stared at it, awestruck for a moment; then noticed she looked like an idiot and moved along. She had seen a pink haired women beside them as well. Her mind was racing. That had been a cat.. on two feet. She needed to remember to ask the elves about it later.

"In here. Go, go," Rosemary ushered them inside quietly, though with a serious tone. Belle quickly herded herself inside and looked around. The bar held many people inside of it of different races. What caught her eye, though, was a blonde duo sitting at the bar. The man, however, had wings and was a fairy. She wasn't sure what kind, though and was hoping to find out. As Belladonna studied her, she noticed the similarities between the women and humans' faces. Her ears though looked pointed. Unsure, Belladonna glanced at the elves and gestured to it. She hoped it was a human; she desperately wanted to connect with someone from her world. Elleta stayed with Belle while Rosemary had gone to sit near the window to keep an eye on the commotion outside. She kept the bow invisible.

The day had been nuts, and her adrenaline was starting to rush off. She would need something to keep her energy up. If someone had told her a week ago she'd be partnered with elves, demihumans and fairies and saving a faun while almost murdering an old Elven governor, she would have asked for what they had been smoking. Belladonna glanced at the woman briefly to study her face closer then turned away as not to be rude. The woman mirrored Belle's own blonde hair and blue eyes. She looked intimidating, though Belle knew she also did too. The male looked just as intimidating as his female companion.

"I'll have what she's having." Belle gestured to Torvi's drink. Elleta raised her brow and caused Belle to let out a giggle. This woman was going to find out what an experienced drinker she was and how she could hold her own. It had surprised everyone, including the gang and Embry. God, she wished she could just see his face now and punch it. "Make it two, please." Elleta managed a tiny smile and slipped some Amas onto the bar. She ordered food as well and Belle watched her do so. She was only somewhat familiar with their food here. What made Belle smile was that Elleta managed to find her some peach dish in which Belle began to devour hungrily. It had been a few hours since she had ate, and the adrenaline rush was wearing off. That, and combined with the training, left her to be a bit tired and drained. It was best not to let it show though. Belle began to drink and eat then finally looked over at the other two.

"Hello," Belle wasn't sure what else to say - she wasn't a friendly one and neither was Elleta. She had to try to find allies though. Bella forced herself to smirk playfully at the two and usher enthusiasm into her voice. "It's crazy out there. The governor was nearly just murdered in broad daylight. Some kind of incident took place, I heard, with a few demihumans." It wasn't as difficult as she thought; despite her calm and cool exterior, she was filled with pride and amusement at her creation. She needed the others to remain safe and low for the time being. She was hiding it though as not to tip anyone off that she was amused by it or even involved.

She took a quick glance at her drink with fascination and ordered another one, making Elleta stifle laughter. "This is some overpriced bullshit," She muttered to the older Elf who managed a genuine laugh. With a smirk, Belle buried her head in her drink and food and allowed the other two time to respond.

Belladonna smiled at Kuroi as he spoke. She remained silent until he had finished and nodded politely. "Thank you, Kuroi. I appreciate your honesty and answers. I understand this is an awkward situation, seeing as I avoided you during the last week. I would like to be straight-forward." Belle took a deep breath and looked at the others, then at Kuroi. She would water her reply down as she didn't want anyone knowing about her past. They would throw her in the streets like the gang had and kill her, or worse. She looked him in the eye with a calm yet shaky tone of voice. Lying to someone's face had been one of her specialties.

"There was a lot of violence on Earth that I witnessed. The man being stabbed and then the metal fan put me on edge. It reminded me of some violence I witnessed, but was not a part of, and I'm sorry. Belle took a deep breath as she paused, then looked at him. The images of the stabbing came back to her mind but she took slow deep breaths. Her hands were clutching her bow so hard that her knuckles were white. The others listened, but didn't say a word. Visibly however she seemed fine, but shaken. "I was hoping you and I could become friends, along with the others. Besides," Belle chortled as she let loose a half-smile and her eyes twinkled. "With all due respect, I must say, I love foxes." She paused and glanced over at Regulus, "And don't you worry, I love horses too, Regulus."

Regulus let out another booming laugh. "I have no qualms if you did or did not, Ma'am." He laughed and patted her on the back. "You're all-right. Us Centaurs know we're awesome." Elleta let out a rare smile similar to Belle who managed to giggle and address everyone.

"Okay, awesome. Thanks everyone. Let's start pairing up and training together..." The group began to train, much to Belle's satisfaction. She practiced with Kuroi who helped her expand her knife fighting and unarmed combat. She was being open with learning new things and found the knife fighting more difficult. She didn’t mind using knives, though she was shaking on the inside. It reminded her of "The Stabbing", as she had dubbed it. Her desire not to be violent was holding her back. She didn't want to think how she used to or become that person again. She gritted her teeth and pushed it to the back of her mind throughout the training.

Afterwards, Belle trained with Elleta and Rosemary on using her magic. Belle hid her disgust of her power but used her anger and morphed it into focus and concentration. She managed to create a drizzle of rain around them which pleased her, then moved onto forming balls of water. She managed to move it a few inches from her palm until it would explode and splash her in the face. She found it difficult to continuously create them and focus long enough to produce more. After trying for a half hour to replicate and or use more water, Belle decided to throw the towel in. Afterwards, she trained with archery and started with fencing with Regulus when a commotion filled the air. The group paused and looked over towards the city. Music was being played distantly, and then loud, raised voices interrupted the beautiful music being played.

Morgayne looked over at a bird that had landed on a branch nearby the fairy. She began speaking to it, which Belle found entertaining to watch. Finally, the fairy listened to the bird, and then turned to everyone. "It's Terneus," She addressed the others who groaned out loud in dismay.Bell looked at them in confusion and then raised her eyebrows. 'What kind of asshole are we dealing with now? Morgayne looked at her and took a deep breath, noting her confusion. "The Sun Elf Governor. He's a real jerk, to put it mildly. He's harassing a faun with a lyre, my bird-friend said. He just flew from the scene." Belle found her blood boiling; it was Ilan. Morgayne pet the birds' head and watched it land on her shoulder. Belle was astounded and slightly jealous; she loved birds. She tore her gaze away and looked at Elves. Her mind was racing. What would she do? Her fists were clenched. What kind of asshole would mess with Ilan?

"We cannot be seen by him; nor you, Ms. Belle. What do you have in mind?" Belladonna bit her lip and looked at the group, then to Kuroi. She knew she had to come up with an intelligent plan; after all she was the rebel leader now. These creatures would look to her to come up with ideas. Stress filled her mind and head as it began to ache. What the fuck would she do? She knew almost nothing about this world. She gritted her teeth then let out a sigh. She gestured the others to follow her towards the noise, but remained at the edge of the woods when they came up to it. Belladonna found a tall Light Elf holding Ilan's lyre; she noticed he was surrounded by soldiers. Then, she noticed Baraian in the crowd and sighed again. There was only so much the Elves could do right now if this indeed was their governor. She looked around quickly and noticed a building not too far away from the scene and overlooked it. It was far enough that they could create some chaos without being seen. She looked at the group and sorted it into her mind. Ilan and Baraian needed to escape this asshole and save his lyre.

"Elleta and Rosemary, you're with me on the roof. I'll need the bow, Elle, if you could please hand me it. We'll need Rose's and your magic. Morgayne, please gather some of the birds and other creatures to help distract the soldiers. Reg, you're in charge of blocking Ilan from harm's way and creating chaos which I'm sure you'll enjoy. Kuroi, if you could be so kind as to help Ilan and Baraian out I would appreciate it – your stealth will be handy here. As for us, we will catch up." Belle nodded to the others and split up. Elleta, Rosemary and Belladonna all started towards the building and used a nearby ladder to climb onto the roof. Elleta handed her the bow and watched her string the arrow. She threw up her hands and created a light shield around them and blocked them form view. If anyone looked over, they would have trouble deciphering what was exactly on the roof. She bent the light enough around Belle to make her invisible as well and to protect her. She could only imagine how much Rosemary was concentrating. She had light magic shielding Ilan from harm as well.

"I'm going to distract some of the soldiers so the birds and insects can attack; I'm sure Governor Asshole won't appreciate an arrow near his pretty little head." Belladonna began to aim it passed Terneus' head and smiled. The savage glee she was feeling she felt and was using it for the sake of good was a newer feeling to her. She hadn't hesitated at all to help Ilan. She wasn't sure what she was doing or why. She wanted to shoot Terneus, but knew it would be too dangerous and dismal. She was trying to control her anger and bitterness inside. She gritted her teeth as images filled her mind's eye.

She took several deep breaths. How she wished this arrow would transverse dimensions and murder Embry as well. She watched as Morgayne who stood by the edge of the woods with a flock of birds around her. She noticed a blue jay and looked away quickly. 'Little Blue, Little Blue, what am I going to do with you...' She could hear Embry's voice again and her temper was now close to popping a lid. She pulled the arrow back and fought to stay in the present. Ilan, the innocent fawn, needed help; he was too pure for this situation. How she hated the innocent being tormented.

"Ready, aim...." Belle began to release the arrow, "And fire!" The arrow sailed from the bow just as quickly as Belladonna jolted up from her position. She watched the arrow sail over the citizen's heads and passed Terneus' into the wall above him. The soldiers began to glance around with confusion, though Belladonna and her Elf duo were already escaping the roof. They quickly climbed and jumped down and onto the ground. Bella looked at Elleta who gestured for them to follow and moved quickly down the road inconspicuously.

She heard Regulus yelling and they veered around to watch from inside a nearby shop. Belle didn't pay attention to the name of the shop while they moved inside quickly to escape the madness, whilst pulling her hood up. Rosemary still had light magic formed around her to protect her from view. The two Elves sat down calmly and flipped open menus to watch. Rosemary and Elleta were sitting side-by-side it appeared but Belle was in the middle, invisible. Rosemary took Elletas’ hand and the two began to focus together on shielding Morgayne, Regulus, and Kurois' appearances as well to make it more difficult to decipher who was actually involved.

"HEY! You big 'ole Elf! That ain't very nice now is it? This dear little faun is blessing us with some of his music! I know I loved it!" Regulus had entered the scene, seconds after her arrow had landed in the wall. She watched as the birds and insects began to attack the Governor's soldiers. He moved in front of Ilan to allow Morgayne, while concentrating hard, to grab the lyre. She gestured for Baraian to follow as she quickly flew away with her hood up. Belle found it chilling to watch. The hairs on the back of her neck had raised and her grip on the bow kept slipping. She was trembling as well and bit her lip. Regulus glanced over at a vendor who had gestured silently to the cake stand. He grinned wildly and looked at Terneus. "I hope it's your birthday Governor! Cause sure it sure is mine!" He grabbed a honey cake and aimed it at his face, but he wasn't sure if he struck him or not. He was too busy running away to check. He had also gently grabbed Ilan's arm to lead him away and to also allow Kuroi to intervene and help as well.

Belladonna watched the group tear away while the wolves, birds, and insects blocked anyone from following. She shuddered at the thought of being in the midst of the chaos; however, she bit down on her lip to stop herself from smiling faintly. As the group faded from view, Belladonna sighed in relief quietly and leaned back against the booth. The trio then ducked out of the shop. They began to ascend into the city to catch up to the others.
Already interested. :)

Belladonna spun around on her feet after hearing approaching footsteps. She nodded along to Kuroi's words and let out a deep sigh. The tension was rising inside of her and she needed to let go of it somehow. She itched to train her magic and return to learning combat. "I suppose we'll have to go and see what happens. Maybe we can go shopping later." Belle paused as she glanced around to take in the city, then looked over at the forsaken forest.

"Rosemary dear, where do you think we should go train?" She then looked over at Kuroi and smiled pleasantly. "I noticed you had a keen ability to fight, especially pertaining to martial arts. I thought we could both train together and out of the watchful eye of others. You can show me what you know, and I can show you what I know as well. After all, we're in this together aren't we?" Belladonna studied his expression after she spoke, then looked over at Rosemary for a response. She nodded to give her time to speak.

"Yes, right this way, Miss." Rosemary smiled at her and began leading the group casually away from the city. Belladonna glanced around when possible and tried to act casual. She didn't want to seem as if she were new to Roshmi. Morgayne flew beside her, and Bella couldn't help but admire her ability to fly. How many times had Belle wished she could fly - it must have been countless. She kept gazing up at the birds flying over head with wonder and fascination. Life would be so much easier if she could have just flown away the Day the gang had nearly killed her. The vengeance sweeping through her blood nearly made her forget her task at hand, so she gripped her bow tightly. She started to play a game in her mind with what she could see, taste, smell and hear. Seeing as Roshmi was a big city, it was an easy and distracting task.

Once the group was safely out of view of others and secluded, Belladonna turned to address everyone. Speaking seemed to come naturally for her, as her words slipped out of her mouth before she could stop herself. She hated to reveal herself to them, but she needed to know and also learn how to properly defend herself. She didn't want to spoil that she was an accomplished thief. That was probably not a noteworthy trait to share; it wouldn't help gain their trust. She needed to gain their trust and respect, especially since she was the leader of them now. She would also fail to mention how she hated listening to the rules.

"So, why don't we take the time to name our best skill, and start helping one another learn it? For me, my talents range from parkour, hand-to-hand combat and using knives. I am not as well versed in martial arts as you Kuroi, however I'm sure you could teach me. I also like the bow and am basic with it, which I would love to improve. Namely, that sword you're carrying, Regulus, looks like a glorified knife, and I am interested in learning how to use it. I also cannot swim well, nor do I enjoy running."

Belladonna took a deep breath, then continued. "Furthermore, I would like that everyone here keep what is discussed and done in training within this group of people. What stays in training, stays in training. We do not want to give our enemies an advantage." Belle finished and turned to allow Regulus to speak. The others turned as well, following her lead.

Regulus, a burly demi-human centaur with piercing blue eyes and smile, burst out laughing. She hadn't been certain this man knew how to crack a joke, but he had. Thankfully, he could. She couldn't roll with someone strict. "Glorified knife. Yes, I can show you how to use the glorified knife m'lady. I am not skilled at hand-to-hand, nor climbing. I prefer to keep my hooves on the ground." Belle giggled at his words, then nodded as he finished.

Next, she turned to Elleta; a soft-spoken but stern Elf who, if looks could kill, would be capable. She raised her brows at her questioningly. "The bow, and also, agility like you. I can also help teach you how to use your magic. I taught humans in the past how to control their abilities." Elleta let out a small sigh as she recalled her past, and she noticed Regulus claps her shoulder soothingly. Elle responded by holding his hand affectionately. She had no idea how old this group was, but knew it was much different than Earth's ages. Belle wanted to master the bow and art and become as lethal as possible. She already had the basics down with the bow and felt as if it came naturally to her. The magic, though, would be more difficult. She wasn't excited about her power and wondered why the hell she couldn't have something less related to her traumatic past.

Belladonna nodded and thanked her quietly, then turned to Morgayne. "I am skilled with zoolinguilism, as you noticed earlier. I can use healing too. I'm weaker with chlorokinesis. I have great endurance with flying, too." Belladonna nodded with gratitude and gestured for Rosemary to speak. She was curious to see what her mentor had in store ability wise.

"I am skilled at archery as well and possess excellent control with light magic. I am using some right now, actually, to keep us hidden from the city and wandering eyes. I am, however, not good with knives or swords." Bella glanced up to see a shimmering wall around their secluded forest area. She smiled faintly. The others had noticed it but hadn't spoken nor pointed it out. They wanted Bell to experience everything firsthand. She appreciated them letting her notice it and comment on her own. She found the magic to be wondrous and felt a small thrill of excitement. How much else did this world hold for her to experience?

"I appreciate your answers, thank you everyone. Now," Belladonna turned to finally address Kuroi. "Please let me know what your skills and abilities are. Some of us are better at combat, others at healing, and some with other crafts. I would like you to please let us know so we can effectively train." Belladonna waited for him to speak and nodded encouragingly. She was keeping a pleasant demeanor up in order not to show her tension or anxiety.

Cora watched the scene unfold with curiosity and uneasiness. The fox's easy entrance and attempts at lying were unnerving her. Despite it, she couldn't help but snort into laughter at Rei's comments. She bit her lip to stop herself from laughing more in order not to further annoy Malachi. She fell silent so she could listen and nodded. She looked at his hand and his shoulder and smiled faintly. His earnest attempts to quell her worry was appreciated. She patted his hand on her shoulder with a faint smile. She couldn't remember the last time someone had reciprocated or cared to physically reassure her. For a moment, her train of thoughts seized: her mind's eye was picturing Gale and the heartbreak refilled her once more. That son of a bitch - if he ended up in Avalia, she would be sure to light a fire under his ass. Who would be the crybaby now? Cora struggled to pull herself out of her reverie and looked back to the chaos in front of her. She was careful not to summon flames or start a fire in connection to her strong emotions. Her eyes had narrowed and her hands began to itch to use her magic.

"Definitely is suspicious and may not be coincidental." She grimaced at the intruder's smug expression and gave him a lingering stare. If he thought he could just lie his way out of this, she began thinking with a surge of irritation. Fortunately, Kenia was able to see through it. Cora glanced at Rei sideways as she spoke with raised eyebrows. So, Kenia made a living out of lying and manipulation - what a fantastic tidbit. She made a mental note to revisit that statement after the chaos ended. The scenario couldn't worsen, could it? She half expected the dragolich's head to appear through the window similar to the Koolaid man, ready to devour and murder Rei and her.

For a moment, Cora nearly burst out laughing at the thought. To distract herself, she turned to look fiercely at soaked floor. She would be damned if this floor was going to stay dirty. She had not spent her morning cleaning, only for it to be messed up again. Cora glanced back at the mischievous thief and grinned. What if they asked him to clean it for his troubles? She resisted the urge to smile or crack another smile and remained serious. Malachi's words caused her to grimace, though she understood why. The situation was serious and Rei and her were in greater danger. She nodded as he ordered them to take food and leave. She had been vying to eat the breakfast, though cleaning and the intruder had interrupted her it.

Without needing to be told twice, Cora grabbed a plate of food and quickly exited the scene. She kept a distance from Rei as the smell of drool was strong. "Too bad you're not a hydromancer and could wash it off of yourself quickly. I am sorry for your.. new cologne." Cora set her food down in the training room, then washed her hands and returned. She was conscientious of being clean and the idea of dirty repulsed her. The dirtiness after the first day had haunted her. Cora waited a few minutes to make sure they weren't followed, then shut the door and turned to Rei. She sat down cross legged on the couch.

"I do not know if this was a coincidental intrusion or not, but it's giving me an awful feeling. I really don't like this, nor do I trust him. He's a liar and errs on the side of cunning and manipulation." She took a deep breath as she gathered her thoughts. "I don't think it's wise to demonstrate our magic in front of him, either: the less he knows, the better." Furthermore, Corvina leaned away form the window and pulled the curtain over it. Despite not being in view, she was on edge. How many other people would waltz into Kenia's estate? Who else would find out they were here? She looked at Rei again as she took a quick sip of her water. The tension was stifling: she needed to relax. When she was younger, she would find ice-skating or singing to be helpful. The calmness and comfort she had began to feel was dissipating.

"Also" Cora glanced at Rei with a playful smirk. She wanted to help lighten the tension he was probably feeling. "Let's get down to business, to defeat the undead army. Did they send me daughters, when I asked, for sons?" She was quietly beginning to sing now, as not to interrupt the chaos in the kitchen. Cora was vaguely remembering her time in choir, which seemed so long ago. She could hardly fathom the reality of high school verses being in grave danger. "You're the saddest bunch I ever met, but you can beat, before we're through. Mister, I'll make a man out of you." She began to giggle as she finished the verse and began to hum it to try to keep the mood light. "Do you think Malachi will like my song?" Cora began laughing as she imagined his reaction.

Cora giggled at Rei's words as he mentioned Malachi being the crumb culprit. The silence lasted peacefully, until pounding footsteps, a barking dog, and a tiny demihuman child rushed towards them. She let out a gasp of fear and dropped the mop out of shock. Her first instinct was to grab a nearby knife and hold it tightly. Her mind raced with fear; had the dragolich found them? Was it Aklenroth's army, or the Dark Fairies and Elves? Her hands shook, while sparks emanated from her fingers.

The odd scene played out, too fast for her to react: the tiny child jumped on Rei's shoulders and then onto the bookcase. How did this boy break into Kenia's estate? She didn't have time to ask due to Malachi coming in; only to demand that Rei and her produce a reasonable explanation. He had the nerve to blame them? She scowled at him as if to say 'really?' Kenia followed behind and beckoned the Demihuman child down to explain to them.

Cora gently pulled Rei away from the chaos. The last thing they needed was for the child to use his shoulder as a springboard again. Her mind raced: now, there was another being in this land that knew Kenia and Malachi were hiding humans here. The anxiety and fear was rising quick inside of her. She glanced at Rei with wide eyes and tried to communicate her thoughts to him. Next, she glanced back at Malachi and Kenia to address them. "We didn't have anything to do with this child coming in. We were cleaning and sadly, we were almost finished." She gestured to the child with a loud, exasperated sigh. "That is, until this one came in."

Her voice was gentle and kind, as not to alarm the boy despite her irritation. Next, Corvina addressed Rei. Her expression while the flames disappeared. "Are you all right?" Concern filled her eyes for her friend's well-being. She had grown to care for these three and the thought of their group being attacked had alarmed her. The memories of the dracolich still hung in the back of her mind. She swallowed and set her hands in her pocket to try quelling her nerves. Her heart was still racing.

Before Belladonna was able to leave the stage, the Dark Elf came to stand beside her. She glanced at his hand with a narrowed gaze while remaining impassive. She gritted her teeth and looked out to the crowd as she listened to his words. Her eyes twitched as her brain began to speculate the moves he had just made. Why on Earth was he giving her his army? Did he expect Humans came with a readily available book of leadership knowledge pertaining to war? How was she going to lead these people? Belle feigned admiration and respect, her smile too wide and her eyes shining with joy. She nodded her head to the crowd and bowed once more.

When he had finally let go, Belle again went to the back of the room with her head raised and eyes fixated on the exit. She began to gather her arrows and knives as she started hiding them in her boots, her pockets, and adjusted the quiver of arrows around her waist. While she prepped to head to the land for the first time in a week, maniac hysterical laughter filled her ears. She glanced over to find it was Baraian's tent. Belle raised her eyebrows then ducked her head as she began to lace her boots. She watched Ilan approach him and wondered what the faun needed, but didn't waste time to continue pondering it. Once she finished gearing up, a soft tap on her shoulder caused her to gasp and spin around with a knife in hand, ready to stab them.

"Miss, where are you going?" Rosemary stood behind her with a frown. Belle noticed she was equipped also with a bow and arrow. She suspected that the Elven woman had more than just a bow on her as well.

"Up to the ground, Rosemary. Should I not familiarize myself with this wonderful city I am going to lead?" Belle tried to keep her voice low, but the spite she was unable to withhold. Rosemary studied her with an intense gaze that remind her of Lysandra. The name brought a stabbing pain in her chest that Belle had to ignore as she roughly gathered the remainder of her knives and daggers. Belle remembered her

"Not alone, you're not going up there alone Ms. Belle." Rosemary's words finally filled the piercing silence as Belle stared up at her with shock.

"What, really? You're letting me go up there?" She couldn't restrain the smile lighting up her expression, blanketed with relief.

"Yes ma'am, as long as you agree to being guarded. You are our leader now." Rosemary lifted her finger and a few others joined: Elf, fairy and a Demihuman joined her; Belle recognized them as Morgayne, Elleta, and Regulus. They were fierce warriors. She had watched them train and exercise and found them to be compelling. Their work ethic and dedication had stunned her. She nodded her approval, then glanced at Kuroi. His skills were indeed going to be necessary, and she wondered what else he knew. She had watched him training over the week with the youth and had founded it to be encouraging. Belle caught his gaze and gestured for him to join them. She didn't want to cross over too far and have people notice, so she kept it subtle.

Belle fixated her gaze on him once more and looked up to indicate they were leaving. Belladonna waited momentarily, then headed up the staircase and out of Ra Monde. They left the graveyard one at a time, making sure to be inconspicuous. Morgayne's zoolinguilism had assisted them in making sure they weren't caught. When they had all joined one another, they looked at Belle for advice. She was silent as she watched the flow of people, the hustle and bustle. It reminded her of her home town. She glanced over her shoulder to see if Kuroi had joined and was cautiously moving so he could catch up.

While she waited, a flyer caught her eye. She moved towards it with the group in tow and read it. She snorted and showed it to them. "Fancy a ball?" The others smiled casually and nodded, because they knew they couldn't voice their real opinions until they went back underground. She knew this would be dangerous to attend but the idea of finding more allies was also inviting. Belladonna sighed as she pondered it. It made her stomach churn.

Week Summary N.A.

"Wow," Cora turned to watch Malachi and held the mop weakly in her hands. She glanced at Rei's broom and a wicked grin split across her face. "Who needs magic to defeat Aklenroth when we can use our new best friends, Rei?" She added as a new reply came to mind and giggled. Her eyes were shining with glee. "I can use wash my hair and mop at the same time. This is some magical multitasking don't you think?" She laughed at his response. "Yeah, we're definitely special - special enough to wield the magical broom and mop. Imagine how dangerous we can be with these. Why continue training our magic without these?" The guest comment made her chuckle, but gratitude still swelled inside of her at the generosity. She hadn't been able to shake the dread of being forced to hide again. She hated small, enclosed spaces. She was grateful to have been with Rei at least so she hadn't been alone in the dark.

Malachi turned his back to them and told them to make sure it was "spotless", Cora had chortled out loud and turned back to Rei. "Yes Rei, make sure it's spotless enough for him to see his ego reflected back to him." Cora giggled to herself and smirked proudly at the wall. She had been enjoying her time with these three, much to her surprise. Part of her was beginning to open up and reveal her personality. It had been too long without true companionship; mostly, she had acquaintances. Corvina couldn't help but wonder if she hadn't moved, would she have ended up in Avalia? Her mind began to reel as she recalled her prior life and gritted her teeth. No - she would not think of Ophelia nor Gale. These were names she never wanted to remember again. Cora knew she would rather face the wilderness of Avalia over it.

As she forced herself back to reality, Cora found her hands were shaking from anger and hatred. She took several deep breaths and noticed she had missed Rei leaving to find the dustpan. Cora frowned, distantly recalling having seen it in the closet down the hall. She went towards the closet and opened it and took out the magical dustpan. At the same time, a faint, haunting singing rang throughout the hallway. She curiously began to follow it. It didn't take long to find it belonged to Kenia who was having a heart-to-heart with Malachi. Rei was backing away awkwardly. Cora move to Rei's peripheral vision and tapped his arm while looking over to hear. Her eyes quickly gazed over the paintings and was able to pick up the gist of the situation. She showed him the dustpan while her other hand touched his to lead him away.

Hoping he complied, she returned to the kitchen and set the dustpan down. She was silent for a moment as she processed the situation. Those babies had been Kenia's and the man her companion. She didn't know if they had been married or what trauma this woman had endured. It was clear the babies hadn't survived. Her heart ached for Kenia but she wasn't going to interrupt. Perhaps later she could give her a hug. Corvina glanced over at Rei finally and then commented: "This world may not be so different from our own in some ways; just more dangerous, magical, and filled with endless possibilities." She smiled faintly and nodded to their supplies.

Corvina paused once more and smiled at him. He was quite handsome, she noticed. The first day had been too chaotic for her to take in her three new companions. She turned back away before he saw her blush and turned her back to him so she could mop where the crumbs had fallen. It was interesting how her life had turned around and she couldn't help but reflect on it. She had a faint smile on her face while she mopped as she brushed the hair out of her eyes.

Week Summary

The past week had been nothing but an information dump of her new world. Belle learned more about it and the truth of why she had been plucked from Earth; to sum up her emotions with one word was impossible. She couldn't help but feel indignation and bitter. How dare they pluck her from her world and expect her to fight for them without asking her? Did these Elves think that everyone would agree to join their random war and possibly die for it? Whenever she thought of it, Belle would begin to shake with anger and disgust. Furthermore, she found it troubling and maddening how she was not allowed to leave the building as well. She felt as if she were trapped underwater, unable to breathe. She hated being cooped up and also being underground. She thought of how she almost ended it in the forest and wondered if it had been a mistake not to follow through.

She had stayed with Ilan whom was the only person/creature she wasn't quite pissed at throughout the week. His sweet and pure nature had been softening up some of her anger and darkness. She found it difficult to stay mad or irritated with him. He was young and innocent and was uncomfortable being in the position anyway. On the other hand, the Dark Elf, known as "Baraian", had fallen onto her bad side. The way he had stabbed the poor man, known as Hans, had irritated her; that kind of senseless killing wasn't a way to win tokens to her good side. Belle knew the man deserved it; however it had still unsettled her. Furthermore, it had also triggered an emotional and traumatic flashback for her as well. Belle found herself glowering inside when he spoke to her. The violent vulpine had also set her on edge with his sharp-edged fan. Belle, despite finding it cool, was unable to rationalize trusting them. It reminded of her the violence she had tried so hard to escape.

Over the week, Ilan had assisted her in discovering her so called magic. He had explained it was wither fire, earth, water or air, and how humans had no control over what was given to them. She had prayed to God she had anything but water. He had placed a match, feather and rock in front of her and asked her to focus on it. Along with Baraian, he had told that she should feel a surge of energy and how the object would react mysteriously.

After trying for several hours with no success with the match, feather and rock, Belle had been about to give up when a puddle of water formed at her feet. She stared at it and looked over to find another one forming nearby. On top of that, a rain cloud had formed over a few of the residents and began to drip. Belle's expression had been filled with anger and disgust; so much, that she thrown her hands in the air and gone to her tent to escape. When she had thrown her hands in the air, the puddles and rain cloud disappeared. Water - the one thing she feared being in and ever facing. She buried her head in her hands after zipping the tent shut and silently screamed into them.

Belladonna stood in the shadows of the rebel hideout, arms folded. Her gaze was fixated on Baraian. Belle's rage was boiling inside, though she remained outwardly calm. The speech was enough to make anyone gag. She listened carefully to his words although it didn't make anything inside of her stir. When nobody was looking, she managed a faint chortle and smirk. Take control of Avalia; how the hell they expected that to happen, she wasn't certain. She slowly slid her hand down the bow hanging over her shoulder. She had a quiver of arrows in the pouch around her waist she wished she could use to poke her eyes out. They had been allowing her to also train in archery, and had been impressed with her knowledge on knives and daggers. Her archery, though, needed some help. A kind Elven woman named Rosemary, had been assisting her. She had been using targets at the back of the room out of everyone's way. Belle found it helped relieve her stress and anxiety too, so she practiced often.

As Baraian continued his speech now to include her, Belladonna quickly smiled pleasantly. Right now, they were cheering for her. What would happen though if hey miraculously won this war? Would she be back-stabbed yet again and thrown into the streets to die? Belle was afraid to find out the answer. If she disagreed, then what would happen? There were too many variables. She felt trapped. Her mind was reeling. At this time though, they were practically worshiping her so she was going to play along. Belladonna moved forward with confidence and grace with a smile painted on her face from ear-to-ear. She stopped to stand beside Baraian to present herself. She would play this to the beat. Right now, they provided her with food, water and shelter. She was starting to enjoy their fashion too. At this time, she knew she had to play along. That was something she could do easily.

"You all may rise. Please don't kneel too long and wear yourselves out. We need to be ready to fight at any moment, yes?" She paused and glanced over everyone. The elves and demihumans were staring at her with admiration. Belle wasn't sure how to react, though she felt pride rise inside of her. Nobody had looked at her that way for the right reasons in a long time. "I can't thank you all enough for your generosity and help with my adjustment into your new, lovely world. I appreciate each and every one of you and have faith that we may accomplish our task of overthrowing Aklenroth." She glanced at the paintings with a sorrowful expression. With the help of her hydromancy, she forced her eyes to tear up and wiped the tears away quickly with her gloved hands. "We will make them proud and not let their sacrifices be in vain. Together we will free Avalia of this dictatorship and cruelty. Together, we will bring honor to your ancestors and live together in peace and harmony."

Belle curtsied in front of them and then moved out of the picture to the back of the room. She needed some air; but not yet. She was going to eat first and wait for the crowd to settle down. She picked up some apples and a glass of water as she watched the others. Belle remained outwardly calm and smiled sweetly at anyone who turned to glance at her.
