I'm thinking of making a beastmaster type of character who owns a traveling circus or a bartender-type chemist who is able to create strange potions/poisons/drugs and sells them to rich clients for recreational use. Something like scout, spy or healer-type roles.

I also would be happy to try my hand at drawing my character! :D

Dishevelled, but low-key presentable. Fit physique, due to part-time bike messenger and porter work. Sometimes smells vaguely of food due to staying in kitchens waiting for the orders to be made.

Clothes:
Trendy secondhand jackets she buys from her richer classmates when they're tired of it (Superdry aesthetic)

Jewelry and Tattoos:
Labrys on right arm and a quote on her lower left ribs in some typewriter font. The first happened because of an ex, the latter because of a bad night out. The quote: "Can't repeat the past?…Why of course you can!"

Home:
LA until age 16, Texas until age 20, Manhattan until present

Job / Wealth / Education:
Currently an architecture student who works part-time as a bike messenger/porter. Previously worked in various bartending and waitress jobs after leaving Texas. Comes from money but has become estranged from parents after coming out and moving to Long Island to follow her girlfriend, now ex.

Personality and interests:
Resourceful, keen observational skills, and really enjoys aesthetics. Basil is also a hobbyist street and architectural photographer, usually of buildings and structures that catch her eye. She's also quite friendly but can be careless or reckless when following her intuition.

Background:
Daughter and third child of an old merchant family. Was estranged after exhibiting behavior unbecoming of-in her parents' words-a respectable human being-and has since tried to find her own path. She made her way to New York to follow her dreams-whatever that meant-but, though she is loath to admit it, she is still lost.
