Okay, everyone take a deep breath and bust a chill.

Here, okay, @Yurishy, go ahead and expand your character sheet some more, offer me some more details on his backstory and his abilities. Being specific here makes things a lot easier for me to check.

It's pretty much obvious that @cziken20's character is a joke submission, erring on the side of troll-ish. Probably going to get deleted for some obvious RPG rule infractions. But I will look at Yurishy separately. We're aware of the fact that they joined in succession, and that may hold important for forum moderation. But for us? I'll dismiss it for now.

Pretty much what @Dead Cruiser said is true of past deliberations. I talked with @yoshua171 about it, and we've reached a conclusion. If anyone wants to get a word in and make their judgment, I'll allow it, and I'm sure yoshua is willing to bridge those gaps. Hopefully we can pull everyone into a state of agreement on this issue, so I can call it settled.

@Tuujaimaa, I concur with @DeltaV. An open forum for discussing our characters and developing a trust between each other (the same trust that this roleplay is built upon) is in order, and I, personally, am open to seeing criticisms of characters if they are fair and civil in their disposition. But the cats are already out of the bag, so to speak, and I suppose it is time for more transparency in decision-making if it will quell the masses. Therefore, as long as remarks are kept impersonal and roleplay-focused, I am allowing them.

Direct attacks on a person are not allowed, and I will strike them swiftly. It is important, however, to separate criticisms of a character from criticisms of a person. For example, one might criticize a writer's work, but that is not a criticism of the writer himself. I could say that I don't like Harry Potter and criticize it as a work, but it doesn't mean that J.K. Rowling isn't a good author. We should carry ourselves with this mindset.

But let's focus on criticism as a tool of improvement and not just make criticism, but rather constructive criticism. Let's avoid obvious clichés like conveniently-placed plot devices. Let's work together to write better in general. This venture is not just a private one between GM and player, but a cohesive effort amongst the players for a common goal. Shall we all bury old hatchets, for the good sake of our passion for roleplay and literary art? Shall we remove ourselves from equations, to see our faults in clear light without taking personal offense?

I believe that public deliberation and shared responsibility, as @Guilty Spark mentioned, are of the key pillars of this roleplay. We should follow the good examples set before us.

@yoshua171 went out and clarified some things. If these are okay with everyone else, then I am so conditioned to permit them. But if anyone shall pick his head up and say nay, then I insist that you make your case heard. I'm sure that compromise will be a good tool for us.

Let's just eat this damn shrimp already.
@Dead Cruiser: Yeah, that's a good idea. I'm going to mention the mods.

@HeySeuss@Ruby@Kangaroo@Sherlock Holmes (Sorry to anyone who sees this after the problem has already been dealt with.)

Edit: Another fairly recent account is viewing the same thread, and I think they may be about to do the same thing.
Can a mod delete this post for us?
@yoshua171: Accepted.
Updated the pantheon in the OP with all gods that have been mentioned so far. (Of course, feel free to make more gods, and if you created a god, feel free to describe them better.)
@Kingfisher: I'm just a little concerned about the description, and I also think that her blood magic has some overlap with another character's abilities. Make a few tweaks here and there, and I think we'll be good.
@Otaku95: Oh, wow!

Can't wait to get started on this roleplay.
@Kingfisher: I don't know how to feel about this yet... Please don't take us into your magical realm.

@Dextkiller@rivaan: Very nice, very nice. Go ahead and post them in the tab.

@DeltaV: I approve! He'll fit right in with Altim and his ilk.

@Dead Cruiser: Accepted! I'm ready for that Volkimir blood-sucking goodness. ;) /s Jokes aside, I can't wait to see how you play him this time around.
@LancerOfBlue: Yeeeeah, the mention bomb isn't supposed to be like "oh, there's a set number of spots and they belong to these people," it's more like "these people expressed interest and i'm letting them know about the thread being posted." So, yeah, it's still open to join. Maybe I should've made it a little more obvious.
@jasonwolf: It's not necessary to tone down the dramatic aspects of myths. What I mean is that it would do good to introduce them as myths or disputable theories.
