What do you mean by refugee group?

While their flavor varies, these are groups of (usually)mostly civilians who were ported in. Not porting in with a faction is rough. A lot of them died during the first few weeks, but those that remained coalesced into groups of survivors living off the land.

If we're talking proportions, the majority of people almost anywhere are civilian with a small minority of soldiers added in. So there are quite a few. There are different kinds of refugee groups, though the most value you'd get from the starting refugees offered are more bodies. Probably a thousand or so people, I'd imagine.

Nodes look like trees/plantoids that are hollow and made of living metal. If you look really closely, you can see tiny filaments of light in that metal. The hollow bit is where what you produce comes from. They're a mega-structure, so they're yuuuge.

@Red Alice Added two SC2 units I made for another RP years ago to give me some more balance.

Original Units

Light Scout: Wears the new CMC-200 Scouting armor. Is lighter and faster then your average marine, but is also only armed with a rifle and pistol. One of the drawbacks is they carry less ammo, and are therefore usually armed with the GHR-12 sniper rifle and a Scythe combat pistol. Many are known to also carry swords or knives as well.

Heavy assault Trooper: Most armored of any Dominion or Raiders soldier, carry's a mini-gun into battle that is equipped with a miniature ammo factory with nanobots that constantly create ammo so it never runs out of ammo. Wears the new TRI-100 Heavy Assault armor. Heavier and slower then a marine. Has been known to keep walking even after receiving a direct hit from a siege tank.

Hope this isn't an issue, just felt what I had was...limited.

Regarding mole people, there'll be a map just for you. However since the initial RP is really going to focus on the surface, your map will be a mid game sort of thing. But when that map comes out underground factions will get a huge advantage in terms of ownership over everything there. For now, spreading in the underground is abstracted and not shown on a map because of the surface focus.

Um, mole people will have a surface presence too. I'll PM you three shortly.

The RP starts around one month after jump. No need to post about your arrival, unless you're discussing it or having horrible PTSD flashbacks like Ilias.
