Current No matter how subtle the wizard, a knife between the shoulder blades will seriously cramp his style.

Arguing over petty details at times of dimensional emergency was a familiar wizardly trait.

A wizard never had friends, at least not friends who were wizards. It needed a different word. Ah yes, that was it. Enemies. But a very different class of enemies. Gentlemen.

Correct.
@VitaVitaAR & Rin: Thanks :) A character built on that religion will obviously follow.
This will however not have anything to do with the original Burning Wheel system for Mouse Guard. Still interested?
You can have mountainous elephants if you please. How about making them mammoths?
I think it's for the best if you remove it. If you want diversity, give a few chosen champions bigg-ass two handed bronze sabers and make them the shock troopers of your army!
Here's an app for a religion.

Religion name: Temple of Avian

Chief Deity: Avian, the two faced god-bird.

Religion Description: The temple worships the god-bird Avian, the all-encompasing deity from which all birds stem. Birds are revered as sacred beings and are the messangers of Avians will. Each bird has a patron deity which is the greatest of its kind. A few examples are Ugla the Owl, god of death; Hoek the Hawk, god of war; and Kroaka the crow, god of beggars and thieves. Temples are often built without roofs and have statues devoted to the different deities positioned around a central tower, on which a great nest is located. The clerics of Avian are dressed in robes adorned with feathers and wear masks looking like the faces of birds. Worship consists of prayer, private or led by a cleric, and material offerings to the statues in the temple. Those of the Avian faith bury their dead by leaving them to the birds on top of the great towers in their temples (like the ziggurats of old mesopotamia). It is strictly forbidden to kill and/or eat birds to those of the faith.
Hello!

I'm looking for players for a game of Mouse Guard. If you are not familiar with the subject, you should consider reading up on it before you apply.

The game will be played in missions, where a simple system of skills/abilities and cointossing will serve as a judge of failure and success. There will be sessions of pure roleplaying in between missions, as your guardmice are taking care of their private business.

Longer posts are welcome, but not required. This will be about action, preferably of the quick-paced kind. What I do require is decent spelling and grammar. I don't mind one-liners, but I expect them to look tidy and neat.

Leave a comment if you're interested or if you have any questions.

Looking forward to playing with you!
Plate mail is beyond the capabilities of category 1 smiths. They can craft crude swords and tools, and maybe simple shields or splint mail from metal, but that's about it. You should probably think more light to medium rather than heavy in terms of armor. A heavy armored warrior in your nation could be one that carries a big bronze reinforced shield, skullcap, studded leather harness and maybe splint mail as shinguards/armguards. How does that sound?
Sniggit frowned. Did undead need to eat? As far as she knew, they didn't need anything. She couldn't say for sure, since she wasn't part of the maintainance crew, but then again the laborers probably had all of their orphices sewn shut for a reason. "Not laborers. Just moving dead-dead, need nothing. No eyes, no teeth, no brains, no soul. Just laborers. Like... strange word... like gol-em-s? No food for golems."

Sniggit gave the girl in front of her a searching look. Had she understood? Despite having lived in Karstberg her entire life, Sniggit was rubbish at Common (like most ratkin). It just didn't fit her mouth properly. Her nostrils suddenly caught the tantilizing smell of cooking fish, derailing her train of thought. Her belly rumbled audibly.
"Now, how much for fish and rice, fish girl?"
@Leotamer: Just noticed that your military description says your warriors use heavy armor. What kind of heavy armor did you have in mind?
