When Miley Cyrus is naked and licks a hammer it's "art" and "music"... but when I do it, I'm "wasted" and "have to leave Home Depot".

My girlfriend is always stealing my t-shirts and sweaters... But if I take one of her dresses, suddenly "we need to talk".

My ex girlfriend had this really weird fetish. She used to like to dress up like herself, and act like a fucking bitch all the time.

Bio

I love writing when I have the time and motivation for it. My posting frequency is generally one or two times a week on average. Supernatural, Horror and Fantasy are usually the genres I hang around most, but I'm not afraid to experiment with something new. I've made a lot great friends here, many of whom I met when creating the Red Hood universe, and am always looking forward to making more.

I tend to be a little raunchy and crude at times but if you can handle that, you'll have a heck of an RP buddy in me!

Howdy, glad to see ya!
@Zoey Boey is a friend and it's perfectly fine! I highly encourage anyone who wants their appetites sated to go check out that RP while I'm working on getting this one off the ground.

Dan's eyebrows went up as he traded glances with Ona. Having still been new to the corps, he felt like he might have a little advantage here as he was still learning how best to use his ring. Now they had a missions where they would need to go back to using ol' reliable weapons that existed with out without the precise presence of Will.

He looked at the weapons vendor and gave a small upward nod before asking, "What kinda firepower do you have that'll fit these?" He then displayed his two hands, twiddling his fingers in excited anticipation.

New or not, Dan had to earn his stripes somehow and he could already see from afar that the Guardians were plotting out a mission course for a select few Lanterns. He was tired of sitting idly by, doing training exercises and acting like a junior member of the club. It was time to step up. His body exuded an emerald glow as he floated through the air silently, joining the amassed officers. "Ben," he called out on approach, addressing the intergalactic doppelganger, "Let me tag in. I'm ready," he declared sternly. Despite Ben's innate ability to shapeshift into copies of other people, a characteristic of his race, there was no way he could replicate the look of cold determination in Dan's eyes. Dan refused to be overlooked anymore. With an awkward nod, Ben excused himself and left, leaving Dan in his place.

"I believe I caught most of it," he said of the mission briefing, looking to the other three Lanterns. "Risen Demons, promised chaos, yadda yadda." The summary was oversimplified but seemingly accurate. Dan looked to one of the other members that he greatly admired. Incredibly wise and resilient, he seemed like the logical source for a potential solution. "Dorg, whatcha thinking?" He asked, his southern drawl accenting his voice. Taking on these 'Risen Demons' was going to take strategy and Dorg's wits were rivaled by few.

Dan listened to Dorg's questions and shrugged.

Age: 35 years old
Gender: Male
Species: Human

Fighting Style: Initially, Dan approaches a fight tactically, trying to make use of all his known advantages. However, if Dan is particularly passionate about the fight at hand, he becomes an explosion of unfiltered aggression.

Favored Constructs:
Beast Mode - Dan creates armor around himself in a hard light personification of his rage. Sometimes it's a werewolf, sometimes it's demonic, other times it may look a little different, but they all function the same way; provides hard light armor to enhance durability and extra melee damage output.

Six Shooters - When he's not a beast in man clothes, Dan leans toward his southern roots. As his most common construct, Dan materializes twin six shooters that can never run out of ammunition as his go-to enforcement weapons.

Flying Blades - When not using his revolvers, Dan will materialize sets of blades that resemble throwing knives, except much larger. These blades move at Dan's will and can change direction at a moment's notice. He uses them most when trying to pin a target to the wall or the ground.

Goblins - Dan's imagination embraces fantasy far more easily than realism. To that end, he can construct a deformed, cartoony version of a human far more easily than he can produce one without flaws. These deformed visages are lovingly referred to by him as his Goblins. The goblins are not independently sentient and are completely controlled by Dan. The amount of concentration it takes to control other hard light beings as well as his own body simultaneously is extremely mentally taxing, which is why he only uses this in dire emergencies and can handle no more than 2 goblins on the field at once.

Bio: Dan is a 17 year old kid in a 35 year old man's body, figuratively speaking. Born and raised in Texas, Dan kept himself entertained by watching monster movies and horror films in between living in a world surrounded by cows and hipsters. After Dan got out of college, he married his high school sweetheart, had a daughter and pursued a career in writing, making his imagination come to life on paper.

His writing career was off to a rough start. He was lucky enough that his wife, Donna, was making good money as an FBI special agent. Life was good until one day he got the call he never wanted to receive. His wife had fallen in the line of duty, victim to a terrorist organisation led by a person known only as El Chacal (or "The Jackal). Dan and his daughter adjusted to their new situation, but not smoothly. He started taking freelance jobs and submitting articles to any periodicals that would pay him, just to keep the lights on.

One day while he was walking home, a consequence of not being able to afford a car, Dan was stopped and held up at gunpoint by a thug covered in tattoos. Initially panicked, Dan's eyes came across one of the tats on the criminal's neck in the shape of a Jackal. Suddenly his vision tunneled and his apprehension went out the window. Rage was all that remained. Baring teeth and letting loose a roar typically only heard from lions, Dan tackled the hoodlum and tore into him until the man went limp, losing consciousness. Dan stood up, victorious, silently swearing that he wouldn't stop there. He would go all the way up the chain to El Chacal himself and avenge his wife's death. That's when a glowing object came down from the sky and stopped just in front of him. An emerald ring emanating light and power spoke out. "Dan Stagnum. You have the ability to overcome great fear. Welcome to the Green Lantern Corps."
Sorry for delay. For your consideration:

Very interested.

On the Team's cybernetic enhancements: Are they universally the same for everyone or will each Hunter's enhancements be customized and potentially chosen by the player? In that same vein, are there certain specific enhancements that might be universal to all?

In this world of science and technology, is there any religious connotations to the Eternals or the Vigil? For instance, do vampire's have religious weaknesses like holy water and crucifixes and is the Vigil backed by a religious sect like Templars?

In any case, very cool concept so far!
I think a slow down in posting schedule is fine and actually pretty accommodating. I still have to work during the week so my best available times are on the weekend (like today!). We lost a prospective player earlier because we were posting so fast and they couldn't foresee being able to keep up at our initial breakneck pace.

I think we'd all appreciate quality posts over a massive quantity of posts. In my eyes, I'm perfectly fine with everyone taking their time and not turning this RP into a chore of deadlines.

Short version: No worries! We'll be here when you're ready!
Heck yes!
