@Zahrale I've been looking through the zeroth posts and I haven't gotten a clear view of the posting line. I think I saw that it was going to be freeform in the beginning, I'm not too sure. Can you clear this up for me?

I don't intend to prattle about. This mission is no longer mines, thought Astral while he observed the chaos from a spot not as clearly visible below. There was a wild wind so far up. It pulled at his strands of hair, hoping to grasp them and whip in front of his mako-imbued eyes. But they did very little in that regard.

Astral was far from afraid of Scarlet but he also didn't particularly enjoy being scolded. His 1st Class rank gave him certain liberties, one of which was an entitlement to the illusion of true freedom. A freedom that allowed him to vanish, to disappear and reappear whenever he liked.

"Its too ... crowded." he mused, sitting himself down on the very thin beam of rustic metal. There wasn't much room for a dragon of his size to step about.

Beryl nodded once. "W-Will do, Commnader."

He started off in the direction of commotion, where SOLDIERS were either finishing off the traitors or fussing amongst themselves.
However, he paused in his tracks; thinking about that lone, hurt figure his Commander had become in those baffling woods. His brows furrowed a bit but he straightened them out before leaving and said, "Good luck, Commander."

A dozen or so minutes later and Beryl had assembled the remaining SOLDIERS and with a bit of authority and effort; got them to stand in a line. He followed suit as well while awaiting the Commander's return.

@Zahrale His name has been changed from Dagongere du Lac to Dagongere of the Lake. Also added the Ring of Clarity to his character sheet. I might mention that "du Lac" actually means "Of the Lake". I think its the French translation though.

However, I'm completely fine changing it to "Of the Lake" as well.

The Hopeful - Dagongere is a rare kind of valiant. A subset of noble and courageous. Inside of his heart is a near obscene amount of hope. He finds himself bravely standing tall, challenging the opposition whether mental or physical to overcome him. He is a beacon of light, a strength manifested into reality, a will of steel shaped like a man.

Footknight. Dagongere slides into battle with a deft hand; longsword grasped within as he deflects first and foremost before slashing and stabbing at particularly vulnerable areas. The hearts, neck, vital organs. If nothing else, it becomes apparent that Dagongere dislikes a lengthy conflict.

Dagongere knows too little to accept either.

Ring of Clarity - Capable of discerning the truth from lies. Its black form is etched with ornate waves, swirling towards the violet gem at its center.

Dagongere of the Lake could feel the nagging buzz of uncertainty always. Since he was a young lad, baring hair of ink and eyes of lake water; he felt in his gut apart from his family. A family that treated him well enough but offered them not their name, their glory, or knightly honor. He was not Dagongere Firstright of the noble house Firstright. He was Dagongere of the Lake, the boy born of the lake and spit out to its edges.

But he was a strong, skilled hand. Built like a fine, regal sword and mighty suitable to guard the Firstright heiress: Telen. Lord Menell Firstright hired a forgotten knight to train him but soon Dagongere had surpassed his tutor. Far too soon in fact. The forgotten knight mention him a rare talent, a born knight and warrior of the realm. It was nearing the end of his lessons, which lasted no more than three months, that a fifteen year old Dagongere was approached by a warrior in cowl and cloak. He had a revelation, a tale to depart with the boy. News of his true mother and father's death, of his birthright.

Dagongere, should have known. It was so obvious and yet too surreal to even be possible. When he told the Firstrights they laughed, explaining they gave him the name out of novelty. For a moment he believed it but some truth laid in the stranger's words. He knew it. After the ridicule, Dagongere sought out Telen, his promised, and charge. The two had hid their love; young as they were Dagongere and Telen were both cautious and keen of mind. He told her of his supposed father, Lancelot du Lac and his mother ... Queen Guinevere. A lack of belief then acceptance came to her. She had seen them both once before and in his face saw them again.

Dagongere set off years later to join the Knights. He had a minor bit of training and a heap of natural talent but he wondered if it was enough. If he could truly do anything with what his parent's left him and with what their loyal friends provided to him. An opportunity to rise above his given status.
