@Double I forget if we had agreed with my rival being on the same team as your rival or not.
@jynmi88 So how I see it we have Abarai Ichika and Kurosaki Kazui to consider. Now we can stay away from them completely but I get the feeling they'd be heavily involved with The Soul Society. I just reread the last chapter of Bleach and it looked like the Captains are the same, Aizen perhaps might be having a change of heart.

The question is how far in the future are we moving?
@jynmi88 That sounds ideal. More than ideal really, perfect. Imagine if The Soul Society had had two or three more geniuses like Toshiro and even one like Gin.
@jynmi88 While those seem like interesting things to experiment with. I think we should keep the staple Zanpakutos. Now that I really think about it, changing how Zanpakutos operate seems blasphemous.

Perhaps instead of having our "New Breed" of Shinigamis being naturally more powerful they are--like you mentioned--capable of more. Like perhaps they feel the flow of reiatsu easier or are capable of (for vague reasons) being capable of tapping into techniques like Blut (quincy) or Hierro (arrancar)
Natsu looked down, a string of thoughts flowing in his mind, all of them in someway trailing back to Nanashi's argument. He had known the truth in his senior's words. He never had an affinity with Building, his talents laid heavily in battle. His instincts were sharp, his ability to step inside his opponent's shoes were his and his alone. It came with the prolonged, current, state of his mind.

"Oh. Well, I think I understand where you're coming from. Building was never something I was good at ... If I broke it I usually just let my older brother deal with the mess. I cherish my Gunpla but the fine things, like the really important details behind its movements and joints are a complete mystery to me. One I don't really care to learn ... at the moment ... I think." he muttered with uncertainty.

"Oh well, what's on the schedule for today? simple training?" He looked up now, gazing at the two of them.
@jynmi88 Something like adaptive Zanpakutos? I need more info on that, even if its not concrete. I'm curious now.
@jynmi88 And the few that have the remarkable growth (if ever looking for some reason) could be the results of the Soul King's or to be even more vague, some metaphysical response to the appearance of the God-Tiered ones. Yhwach and his army, Ichigo and his friends, and the all around spike in power in The Soul Society.

Some kind of new breed or something like that.

Just a suggestion.
@jynmi88 Agreed. Starting the roleplayers off at the same level, with the same jobs, gives no excuse why one person should be better than the other besides skills or purposeful actions. Quincys, Fullbringers, Hollows, Vizards, all of that can be added later if you have enough requests or want to.

My question is this, will all the Rpers start off in the same squad? and if not how will we all be connected?

Have you read the Black Clover manga? recently strong members from the Magic Knight squads have been inducted into the Royal Knight squad. If we're gonna go the same-squad route we could go with that. Some elite Division specialized in handling Espadas and other high-tier dangers. However, since its a new development, it would make sense if young members had to train up from the bottom.
Hey, @jynmi88 I agree with the small group thing. Sometimes its best to establish a dedicated group before expanding an RP.

As for your latter suggestion, I've always been a fan of character development. So I'm down with starting from the bottom.
Natsu entered four or so minutes after Sousuke. As he strode in, he greeted--rather dryly--his two comrades in Gunpla. The seat he chose to rest in was neither a chair nor stool, instead, he scooted onto a table near an open window, unclipped Echo's black case, and placed it between his dangling legs; where his hands tenderly held it. The wind seemed tease him.

There was a dopiness to his sedated expression. "Nanashi-san, I've been wondering exactly what it was you were trying to tell us yesterday. Despite your approach, I can't help thinking you're on to something." He glanced up, his cool blue eyes deep with curiosity. "Enlighten me, Nanashi-san."

Is it because I didn't build, Echo Barbatos myself? he pondered to himself.
