@Red Mage Okay, so say by chance Shikoku stumbles into Saishu during a free period or vice-versa. Both of them seeking solitude during said time. Perhaps noticing the distance Shikoku has created between herself and the class, Saishu offers her to join him. How would she react to this?
@Crimson Lion@Red Mage Saishu is probably one of the more relaxed guys at the Spiritual Arts Academy. He daydreams with a smile, finishes his tests and exams a bit early, and yet, for the most parts remains a shut door. His voice carries a confident timbre, usually accentuated with a tender undertone--perhaps the precursor of a macabre past. Between classes he vanishes from his peers to find a place to "sleep" or study intensively. After school he trains for three hours on his Zanjutsu and Hoho before spending an hour communing with his Zanpakuto.
A brief description of his life at the academy. Perhaps you guys can build an opinion off this of Saishu.
Personality: Much of his past has followed Saishu to Soul Society. Most being his mannerisms, quirks, and overall tendencies from before his death. Saishu while not an overachiever is a resolved man that despises being told "he can't" do something. That hasn't changed since his death. Though it had been mostly strangled upon his rebirth. Rukongai gave him a certain edge. It made him street smart and crude, a bit pessimistic but mostly pragmatic. While being carefree can come off as lazy to his peers, he has refused to adhere to anything he doesn't agree with, which meant, yes sometimes breaks were necessary and other times they were deserved. For some reason, too much work really leaves a bad taste in his mouth.
Backstory: Saishu Yoake fought his ability to sense the supernatural during his time in the living. Up until he died himself and was reborn in the Soul Society. As a young spirit learning the ins and outs, he had been under the impression that dreams rarely came to those in the Rukongai. So when he was approached by a maiden soul reaper of the 12th Division he was skeptical. All his afterlife he was told soul reapers were protectors of the natural order. He felt insanely lucky just to bump into one. Even more to discover he was being scouted for his "youth and reiryoku" which was whispered to have been uncanny.
Two years later and he was finally emitted into Gotei 13 academy.
Strengths/ Weaknesses: As a soul reaper in the Gotei 13 Saishu is an exemplary warrior for his age. He excels mostly at Zanjutsu and Hoho, must preferring to strike as fast and hard as possible. On the other end of the spectrum he has absolutely no skills in Hakuda and only marginal abilities in Kido. He's been told to focus more on his Kido and to give Hakuda atleast a try but he's stuck to mastering Zanjutsu and Hoho, if only to make his presence on the battlefield that much bigger.
"How feeble my love for you is. You who is so imperfectly formed, half understood, and poorly cherished. You whose soul I share."
Name: Chonan (長男, First Son)
Release Command: "Revolt,"
Shikai Appearance: Upon speaking Chonan's release command a black aura surges down the blade and up the hilt respectively. Once the energy fades a long jian, its blade shining of a cobalt material, rests in Saishu's hands. It crackles white lightening from its double-edged blade at all times. Oddly enough along with the guardless jian comes a gauntlet of the same make. On his shoulders rests a rugged, black, cowl that falls to his mid-back.
Shikai Ability: Chonan is a unclassified-type Zanpakuto that doubles the physical strength of his armored arm and allows him to use lightning-based attacks.

@jynmi88 Alright, so I switched up my Shikai ability, since I was incapable of fitting my image onto Yidrias, I went with my second choice and is going to have it being a lightning-type Zanpakuto.
@jynmi88 I fixed the first mistake. As for the abilities, its not adhering to a single class of Zanpakuto. I did change his enhanced strength to be restricted to his armored arm though. And also switched up his Shikai ability.

@jynmi88 Sorry for disappearing. I was taken on a two day excursion lol. I'm back now.
A shuddering breath escaped him even as he looked for other things to distract his racing heart. The tawny flowers, the weeping greens, the reflecting lake, the mountain air drafting down on them. The basic reality that surrounded them seemed concocted compared to the hyper-realism between Odette and himself. The Force was at work on him. It was typical for the Force to weigh heavily on his current mood, usually keeping him chaotically on the line. His life for the past three years had been one long balancing act, with occasional moments of profound peace or dreaded fear.
However, just last year, without Odette's knowledge, he had found the key to jailing his frustrations when with her. They had a tendency of melding together in a sense, while not completely, it felt as if something just locked into place. And it was in that place that he strangled his uneasiness while deep within her light. Making her feel as if the world was perfect, without fault, and mistakes.
Ben found her unending beauty intoxicating, nearly as much the Force's pull on his machinations. Almost as much as his grandfather's scarred voice in his visions. He smiled at her tender face and held her in a gentle hug. Their lips brushed against one another innumerable times and every one of them were hard doses of reality. She was indeed content with this illusion and now he wondered how he could break the spell. It seemed impossible.
Ben told her his truth in that moment. "Odette, I love you." He placed his forehead on her shoulder, a habit he still hadn't broken whenever embarrassment took hold of him. "I always will. Always." Another shaky breath fell from him as he pulled away and wrenched her arms from his neck. "You know how ... erratic I can be. I nearly ripped you from your robes," he joked.
