"Keep low," Yoda whispered to Orchid. "Despite how confident, Father-dearest sounds. Its never easy going up against a group. We'll have to work together from here on out. Watch my back and I'll watch yours."
As he said this he scrambled to place himself two or three feet ahead of her. She was naked after all, at least he had obtained a loincloth, she had nothing defending her. Perhaps he could be some form of armor or shield, at least for the none-sharp stuff. He dragged his gnarled stick with both hands. Upon spotting the moshpit of lizards, rats, and other smaller beings; Yoda got the feeling he was worried for nothing.
"They don't look so tough, we must be the top predators here," he mumbled.
He looked behind himself at Orchid again. "Remember ... We work together from here. Please watch my back." he pleaded quietly, he still had memories from being forced out that window. He didn't want to die a second time.
Isamu howled with delight as the careless Dinn exploded within his sudden, powerful beam blast. "You see that, Taka? I don't lose. I'm something of a New-Type," he bragged.
The remaining Dinn didn't seem as giddy as Isamu. The orange-glow of the whip wrapped around his wrist, ripping his grasp from the Stungle Rifle's secondary handle. "Crap!" he muttered, whipping his weapon around at the attacking Gunpla. The Dinn's single-eye fluttered in its socket as he raised his big shield and took the wayward beam head on. For a moment the beam scattered than the shield splintered and broke. He threw the shield aside, yanking on G's captured arm.
Isamu managed to hold his ground, his boosters and superior build steadying him. Despite this the Dinn was pressing his advantage, it charged towards him, dispatching the Stungle Rifle from his other hand with a powerful swipe. For a moment, contact was made by the enemy. "Not bad, Boy. But you solo players will never be ready to take on a legit Force. We train for hours together, make concrete our bonds, and by the end of it all, we make each other ten times better. You're slacking, Boy! Admit it!"
"I'll admit you have nice moves but you shouldn't have sacrificed your shield!
Isamu brandished his beam saber with a flick of his wrist severing the Dinn's arm and heat-whip with G's rotating wrist. The tense line laxed and before the Dinn could react, Isamu pushed his boosters to the max, shredding the Dinn's build with his rotating wrist and beam sabers grasped within them. " And you definitely shouldn't have underestimated me!" he barked.
The leader, recognized by his white-shaded Dinn, customized with a Providence Gundam head-piece, acknowledged the defeat of his comrades. "Easy, Darklink. We'll eradicate them here. "
Darklink, a gleaming silver Dinn, remained stoic next to his leader. "I know, Chief."
Farce strolled behind his master with ease. His arm folded behind his head, his steps calculated to a leisurely rhythm. The whole dungeon-labyrinth thing was a nice setup, especially considering how truly dizzying it was. He could make a left turn, make a note of it, look behind himself, and honestly not tell if it was left or right. Maybe it was the material the halls were made of or the flawless order of its pattern but it felt like a blur.
Coming into the last locked room was like entering a shrine. Actual evidence of the guarded secrets of the Masters. His arms fell from his head and hung at his sides, he awed with excitement.
Master Viper mentioned the star-shaped amulets as Wayfinders and motioned for them to take their own.
With a orange and blue one in hand, Master Viper led them back out. She gave them a way out, almost foolishly in his opinion. Honestly none of it mattered. Viper had been his Master since arriving, he wasn't about to bail on her. Not when she needed companions and trusted comrades the most. He had owed her most of what he had: his skills, his convictions, and his resolutions.
Abel went on a long talk, one that had Farce scratching his head and tapping his sabon against the ground until he was done. Afterwards, he simply chuckled. "I'm not going anywhere either, Mama Viper. I'm here till the very end. Isn't this what we've been training for? fighting the darkness and all that," he told her with a smile, initiating his own black-dyed armor to protect him from the Lanes. @vancexentan@Double
Isamu cracked a smirk. At the very least one of his teammates sounded experienced. He opened his comms to the others; being first to respond to the mystery pilot. He had no doubt his voice would betray his youth, so Isamu didn't attempt to pretend otherwise. "I don't take orders. I'm Isamu by the way. Nice to meet 'ya."
The Dinns' all at once split into groups of two while dodging the successive beam shots. Isamu kept G near his only visible teammate. He knew he shouldn't have but he admired this Gunpla's polished structure. He didn't have the best eye but he knew skill and a deft hand. This Gunpla was built with both.
His hands shook on the simulated controls, his heart fluttering to its own beat.
"I'm moving ahead now!" he shouted in the comms, closing the distance at an alarming speed.
He blasted ahead, his Stungle Rifle in one hand with his G-shield held forward in the other. At the same time one of three pairs took route in front of the others to meet him. Behind them, another pair slid away to the left, descending to the largest of the islands, it was capable of fitting a small army of mobile suits. The last pair set the Advent in their sights and headed for it.
Despite the lack of individualism it was quite obvious this Force was, if not experienced, than led by a proper veteran.
Isamu felt ecstatic by his odds. Two v one was a great challenge for G and himself. As they closed on him, he shot his Stungle Rifle at each of them. They split-apart at the last meant, one of them putting away their machine gun and pulling out their heat weapons: a distinctive, sharp, whip.
Isamu, all of sudden cut his boosters, dropping him quickly before reigniting them. His Stungle Rifle was aimed up as his suit adjusted the fall and subsequent rise. With a flip of his hand, he set the rifle to Charge Mode, anchored it, and grabbed the jutting handle. "I'm not your ordinary Gunpla enthusiast!"
Angeled stabilizers extended from the main structure to amplify the beam shot. When the beam roared out, it lit up the sky momentarily and blinded Isamu of his enemies.
@vancexentan@Double@Keyblade87 You can take control of your own enemies for this battle. Van and Double both get two Dinns to combat. Keyblade if you decide to jump in anytime soon, you can fit in where you want.
@Double To simplify this, imagine a mainland nearby. Comm us and we'll meet you over there bringing the fight to you.
Frankly you'll have to forgive my absent-mindedness. I didn't think much about the build of your Gunpla but a randomized lobby does have that chance of happening in my defense lol. Anyway, if you can think of something better be my guess.
Like I said, Keyblade, didn't leave me much to work with, so cooperation between us will be crucial.
@vancexentan@Double Hopefully I won't make double posts a reoccurring thing. But I'm just going to let you all know I'm going to attempt to get a post out everyday around 5:00PM my time. Its 3:46PM at the moment. I'll try not to leave anyone behind too far but it seems best--in my opinion--at the moment.
A feisty one, I should ... wait something about the way she speaks is different. Could she be ... Noooo ... Well maybe?
Yoda frowned at first then smiled at her a bit more human than he intended. His expression unfurled into a docile kindness even as he lowered his hand to his side. Upon seeing the Boss, his father, Yoda took a few tentative steps back. He hadn't been prepared for such a giant but if this was his sire then genetically speaking, he was meant for great things as well.
A bit of ambition sparked in him and for a minuscule moment, he could see his sharp stone plunged deep into the monster's throat.
However the question proposed to them sent apprehension up his spine. Goblins were harsh, cruel creatures. What if none of them knew? Instead, he gambled on a request, a demand more likely, "I wanna spear to skewer 'em with!" He made several spear-jabs around himself, that terrible grin back in action. "And armor! Armor like yours! A shield too!" he said excitedly, pointing at his father.
He strode over to the stack of wood from earlier, pretending to recklessly throw them aside, while in-all-actuality he was sifting through them for a adequate stick for his rock. Perhaps he'd find some strong twine later on to fix it with.
