Ah, I see the bots are back again with their nonsense posting.

Got my new sci-fi mecha RP up. Put a lot of work into the background of this one, and wrote out a whole setting

Cambozola is definitely A-Tier. It combines all the best parts of Brie with Blue Cheese, what's not to like.

Guess the mecha RP idea wasn't as popular or as interesting as I hoped it might be. Not much in the way of bites on that one so far, sadly

Bio
I've been roleplaying in one form or another since the late '90's. I've played as many tabletop games as I have online ones, and the quality of both has varied wildly. I have an active imagination, and I love immersive, descriptive roleplaying. My genres of choice are sci-fi, and modern-day (with a sci-fi twist). I like RP's that mix reality with fiction, and throw an unusual and exciting twist into an otherwise normal setting - something like Stargate SG-1 would be an example, or Battle: Los Angeles. An almost recognizable world, but with some sci-fi twists. I'm a fan of military and action-based RP's that do this especially, and they are easily my favourite - though I rarely see any that appeal to me enough - all the military RP's are too 'plain', and anything else modern day is usually fantasy or fandom. I have a lot of fandoms, but I don't really like fandom RP's - or at least, the ones that come up. I often find them a bit lacking in ideas, or too far away from what actually makes the thing I'm a fan of enjoyable.
I don't play in free, as I find the short posts and bad spelling and grammar infuriating.
I'm 43 years old, and live in the UK, so I may not be on all the time. I also like playing non-human characters, especially anthro ones. I dig giant robots, and I love military aircraft. I'm also a very dedicated and proud Brony and furry.
Man, sorry I disappeared for a few. Have some major IRL decisions to make and it's really stressful. That being said, I'm still in this. Really sorry for disappearing. I'll work on my bio a bit more :) Look forward to seeing an IC.
Glad you're back, and it's okay; hope you worked out/are working out whatever needs to be done and it all turns out ok. Your character is looking great already, I don't forsee any problems with him.
With Vyper back with us, and Slypheed as well, that brings the roster up to six, which, deep joy, is the maximum number. The only way we can get more in now is if someone already in wants a co-pilot. I'll mark the game as closed for applications, and once everyone's characters are up, I'll get the IC started.
@Silverwind Blade The picture of your character in the characters tab is missing/not working.
That's weird, because I can see it fine on my laptop o.O
FurAffinity is weird about image links, it might be because of logins, etc. I've changed the image source to flickr instead. Hopefully that will resolve it. If not, I'll use an alternate picture and change her description a bit.
EDIT: Also, Thomas looks fine to me, no problems with him so far at all. I like the Pink Floyd references a lot, I'm a fan of their music
Also, looks like we are gonna have two characters in this RP of the same species. Unless @Silverwind Blade would rather to not have that happen. If so, I can easily change to making a character of a different species.
There's more than two white, black, asian, etc people in the real world, and it'd be the same kind of deal with different species on Arvara. I don't see it as a problem.
Given some recent developments (good developments) the chance of hitting that window might have been destroyed.
That's okay, I don't think I'll get the post up by the end of the week either. I'll try and do it over the weekend though. I'm going on holiday, but to somewhere with wi-fi, and I've (blissfully, joyously, wonderfully) got the week off work next week too.
Yeah, I did want to try and keep the squad small to begin with. Even with that written in, I was expecting a bit more interest. Still; we've got the minimum number to begin. I was hoping to hear from @VyperPunk to finish off her character, but she seems to have disappeared. @Caliban22 needs to move his character into the characters tab, but is fine to go, as are you.
I'll probably try and get a post up to get us at least off to a start mid-week sometime. I'm still mulling over exactly how to start us off exactly, but it should be fine. I imagine more people may come in once we start going too - it wouldn't be the first time.
I'd love for you to join in, the more people the better at this point, as there hasn't been as much interest as I would have hoped. And I'm not exactly planning on it being speedposting: the revenge or anything. I prefer things be casual and laid-back myself, as I have other hobbies and work to look after too. Regarding your character; it's up to you, of course. I've gone for a new character myself, as I preferred to play someone different - no reason why you can't use Vanessa again though :)
