I'm going to need a bit of time to think on whether this continues... If anyone bows out before I return, so be it, we're cool so long as you don't simply ghost.

posted, not much, but I wrote that primarily as a vehicle for the character introductions rather than trying to lay the whole plot and setting out (especially in the case of setting, that's already laid out in the OOC...)

A bright, but chill afternoon...

The sun was already vanishing behind the tree line, while in the shade of the surrounding marshes, the faintest mist was already rising.

The steam that rose from the vents of a local diner had ceased, the "open" sign already cut out.

At the local high school, a banner that originally advertised support for the local football team now had a looser sign taped over it, that read "Game Cancelled Due to Weather". The remaining staff and students quickly exited, and merged with the rest of the pedestrians...

People moved in a hurried fashion, as a police vehicle slowly moved along the main street, calling out the final warning of curfew.

And one greyhound bus came to a stop outside the town hall, where the driver announced to it's passengers, "Alright, folks, disembark in an orderly manner, be sure to claim your luggage, and make sure to check in, those of you who've arranged a stay at the Nowhere Hotel. Those who haven't, meet up with your connections, be they friend or family, but Greyhound can't be responsible for passengers staying aboard..." He paused, hesitating at his final words, "This is the end of the line."

Alright, tonight I'll write up and post an opener.

Character Name: Silo Stingly
Physical Description: Wild, messy, long brown hair.
Age: 17
Role: Outcast
Psychic: Yes
Skills/Abilities of Note:
He has the ability to take anyone's feelings and give them to anyone else(including himself) that he can see clearly in his eyesight. However, he does this unintentionally.
Background:
He's always been the one at school who never has really had any friends and people avoid. He spends his time alone, and doesn't like to get near people. He has come to the conclusion that other people are weird and bonds are pointless after a particularly strange encounter with a group of high schoolers and his mother when he was still in middle school.
Previous Encounter/s: No
Resources: Internet, Cell Phone. His Grandfather on his mother's side, however, is a steady source regarding myths and horror stories.
Odds of Survival: (I'm just gonna go with whatever the GM gives.)

I'd say drop the psychic ability, and he can start with 3 Odds. Deal?

I'm going to give this until... Sunday, and if nobody else has signed on... I dunno, this is meant to be a group thing, and I'm not switching to the 1X1 area. if nobody else has popped in and made a character by then, I might give a week with just 1 player and see if other people join in.

the gun i chose is a pistol that can hold up to 50 bullets in one clip. Should i mention how many clips he has?

I'd say he has one clip in it to start, and one spare, if we're not trying to implement a clear advantage. (he has a gun; that's already more than most horror victims/survivors get)
