Daniel doesn't live at home with his parents but on his own in a studio in Sunset Beach, and holds a job at a skate/surf shop in Huntington. He uses his parent's address to appear to be still living in the same district as the high school so he can continue going to Delbrook. He doesn't mind the drive. Danny is fluent in English, took two years of French, and is confident he could hold a conversation in the language though he wouldn't say he is 100% fluent in it, and knows a bit of Spanish simply from interacting with his best friend's family and the general public. Delbrook is the first one he's stayed at consecutively for since the second grade. He's been attending D.A. since sophomore year, nearly having gotten kicked out within the first couple of months until his father paid off the school to keep him in. Benny has always had a hard life. With a family that is deeply rooted in the Sureños (a.k.a. Southern United Raza, Sur13, Sureños x13), a group that loosely pays tribute to the Mexican Mafia that holds affiliations with the Gulf Cartel, Benny is always sure to keep his head down. At least enough so that there are not cops involved, though he has no problem with (and rather enjoys) getting into fights... Though he is not officially in the gang, his father has big plans for him and keeps him up to date on the happenings of it all. It's expected that Benny will be initiated in, and the thought (privately) terrifies Benny, but he keeps on a fake face for his father and does what is asked of him. Ezra does not talk about his home life and doesn't like people knowing where he lives. Whether you choose to spend your time rushing the field with our five-time National Championship lacrosse team - Go, mighty Tides..! - or rocking out in the quad to the sweet rhythm of the jazz band; with more than enough extracurricular sports, activities, and clubs on offer, you're sure to find the right place for you, surrounded by like-minded peers who, despite differences, come together to create a close-knit and welcoming community. So now that's out of the way, let's get down to the four-one-one on how your first day at Delbrook is going to go. Today is all about getting in the groove; and no, I don't just mean with the dance squad or the cheerleaders... No. Today is going to consist of familiarizing yourself or re-familiarizing for our returning tides, with the school. This morning you'll attend your homeroom, where you'll meet your classmates and teacher before heading to the auditorium where our mighty Poseidon - our principal, for those of you who might not know - will address the school and give us a brief rundown on what the new year is going to look like. But once that's done... light that bonfire, and get ready for a luau; because the sharks, along with our amazing seniors, have prepared one hell of a welcome home party for us all..! So be sure to head on out to the lacrosse field and check it out..! There are food trucks, carnival games, rides, and booths- make new friends, meet the clubs, and prove yourself a tide to be reckoned with. And why not..? After all; new year, new you, right? Let's make this year our most memorable yet! For Delbrook Academy; your resident chatty dolphin, signing off..!" - Christina Monroe, ASB President You'll be excited to hear that we have since dropped our uniform policy and now are a free-dress school, you can thank your ASB President for fighting for you all as fiercely as she did on the matter. Though, of course, there is still no wearing anything gang-related and the girls are still expected to have shorts that reach the length of their fingertips. You are still more than welcome to wear Delbrook Tide spirit-wear, and will still be able to buy said merch at the Student Store. You also will still be expected to wear your school I.D.s around your neck with the Delbrook lanyard provided to you from the moment you walk in the front gate to the moment you leave school grounds. You will not be able to enter or leave school without it, so please don't lose it. It's a ten-dollar fee to replace it. Delbrook's campus holds approximately forty-five hundred students, with about a thousand and two hundred students in our graduating class alone. Unfortunately, the reality of those numbers is only about nine hundred of you in the class of 2022 will make it to graduation. We'd love to see you all there, but we know that there are different circumstances that end up preventing some of our students from completing their journey. Anywhere between thirty and forty-five students fill each classroom, with anywhere from six to eight classes on your schedule with two to four classes a day. Depending on how you worked your schedules out with your counselors, you might have free periods before or after lunch that provide you a longer lunch break, or towards the end of the day that permits you to be let out of school earlier than most students. Show the front gate security guard your I.D., which has your free periods imprinted on them, and they will let you out. Our school runs on a blocked schedule where you will attend your Even number classes one day, and the next it will be your Odd number classes. Blue days are Even classes, while Gold days are Odd. Green Days are for all classes. Each class period will run for an hour and a half, with a fifteen-minute break period between your first and second classes before lunch hits, and after lunch will come your third and fourth classes for the day. There will only be a five-minute period between the last two classes for you to get to your designated class, so I suggest you don't dilly-dally. The standard being held for this role play will be High-Casual, which means at least 2 paragraphs of non-dialogue minimum. However, quality over quantity shall prevail. Sometimes you just feel like you can get your point across without writing a detailed paragraph over how Mary Sue brushes her teeth, and that’s totally okay. The maximum time between posts will be 14 days, which can be extended by previous communication with the GMs. If you do not post in IC or OOC by this time, I shall shamelessly spam your DM’s in Discord or Guild PM’s to see what’s up. Until you are heard back from, your character will be excused from any interactions they may be in to free up the other member's character(s) and put on a hiatus. If you are to be absent from the site, unable to post in the period of time mentioned above, or wish to bow out please let us know in whatever via you prefer (OOC or group PM to the GMs). It’s not only polite to do so, but it will be much appreciated. Please check with at least one of the GMs if you plan on making a big event that might change the vibe of the RP or affect the cast in any way. We’ll most likely say yes, but better safe than sorry. This is a character-driven RP. As such, there is not only a need but a requirement for character interactions. So talkkkkkk. Every player and the characters he or she decide to play will have their moments to shine, but interactions help a lot with this. After all, we don't want somebody to be left out. Please allow at least 2 people to post before making your next one. This includes different characters. If you want to post for a second character, please just use the EDIT button, add it in, and let anyone you might be interacting with know. Collabs are encouraged, but please don't go overboard. We want to have some machine-gun posting too. Drop your favorite show of the month on the Misc. section of the Character Sheet to make sure you’ve read through the rules! <3 Romance is allowed and very much encouraged by the GM and COs, though Guild Rules will apply to the steamier scenes. If you encounter any situations with a particular user, either take it to PMs, DMs or let us GM's know to see if the situation can be resolved amicably. There will be a limit of four/five characters at the max, though if you see yourself only being able to handle a single character that is absolutely fine by me. I'm not too worried about girl/guy ratios, so just worry about what you want to make (though if you are interested in keeping the ratio somewhat even, I will post the girl/guy ratio in the character tab for you to check out). Our characters, much like us members, are not perfect. I do not want any Eddie Haskell's in the roleplay. I'd like to see some characters with some flaws to them. I will not be accepting Anime FC's. Real-life face claims only who look the part of a high schooler. Character sheets should be posted into the OOC for any of the three GM's to review, and once you've been given the green light you are more than welcome to move them over to the Character Tab and begin posting at will. Tentative interest, but a few things I wanted to note/ask:

1) Some of your image links for the school are broken. From my own experience, anything hosted under the googleusercontent url acts as a temporary link, eventually refusing access to the picture after some time. Best bet is probably to find them again and upload the images to a place like Imgur.

2) Which grade level(s) are we looking at here? You mention the end goal is graduation, so I imagine seniors are okay. But later on you also mention first years/freshmen in the school info, which raises the point that if we're also including them and the other two grades (sophomore and junior) in the PC cast. I'm assuming you are including all four years of HS as an option, but I figured it was something worth asking regardless of my assumption.

3) The map mentions two-story buildings, with the 800-building having a third story. Which buildings are two-story?

4) Is there a list of classes available (other than the basics, obviously)? Are there any named individuals so far that teach said classes?

Anyway and with that out of the way, I'll likely reserve Sophia Lillis as a FC if I do join.

1. I fixed that problem, it must have been in the process when you sent your message and I hadn't refreshed the page. It was only just brought to my attention there were questions to answer about half an hour ago heh. Had gotten myself busy with my daughter.

2. Originally I was only looking to include Seniors. The mention of "first years" is supposed to be for students who recently moved into the area or transferred from another school to Delbrook for their Senior year, which would consider this their first year at the Academy. :) I have decided to allow 11th graders, but will be focusing primarily on 12th-grade students. If there are 11th graders being included, they would have to be at the top of their own class and be smart enough to be taking classes above their own grade level.

3. I will have to fix that. The buildings that are two-story are the 2, 3, and 4-hundred buildings. The 900 building is also on the second floor but has no first. There's a bridge leading from the 300 building to the 900 hallway, and a staircase below the 900 where the 400 meets with it that also leads up to the 900 building's hallway.

4. I will include some classes in a lengthy list in the left sidebar for when the OP is posted in the RP thread. So far, Vicier and I will be in charge of operating most of the classes. Members are able to apply to operate certain classes if they so choose.

Today we welcome back familiar faces to a new year, and with them, a new wave of students into the sandy halls of D.A. Whether you choose to spend your time rushing the field with our five-time National Championship lacrosse team - Go, mighty Tides..! - or rocking out in the quad to the sweet rhythm of the jazz band; with more than enough extracurricular sports, activities, and clubs on offer, you're sure to find the right place for you, surrounded by like-minded peers who, despite differences, come together to create a close-knit and welcoming community. So now that's out of the way, let's get down to the four-one-one on how your first day at Delbrook is going to go. Today is all about getting in the groove; and no, I don't just mean with the dance squad or the cheerleaders... No. Today is going to consist of familiarizing yourself or re-familiarizing for our returning tides, with the school. This morning you'll attend your homeroom, where you'll meet your classmates and teacher before heading to the auditorium where our mighty Poseidon - our principal, for those of you who might not know - will address the school and give us a brief rundown on what the new year is going to look like. But once that's done... light that bonfire, and get ready for a luau; because the sharks, along with our amazing seniors, have prepared one hell of a welcome home party for us all..! So be sure to head on out to the lacrosse field and check it out..! There are food trucks, carnival games, rides, and booths- make new friends, meet the clubs, and prove yourself a tide to be reckoned with. And why not..? After all; new year, new you, right? Let's make this year our most memorable yet! For Delbrook Academy; your resident chatty dolphin, signing off..!" - Christina Monroe, ASB President You'll be excited to hear that we have since dropped our uniform policy and now are a free-dress school, you can thank your ASB President for fighting for you all as fiercely as she did on the matter. Though, of course, there is still no wearing anything gang-related and the girls are still expected to have shorts that reach the length of their fingertips. You are still more than welcome to wear Delbrook Tide spirit-wear, and will still be able to buy said merch at the Student Store. You also will still be expected to wear your school I.D.s around your neck with the Delbrook lanyard provided to you from the moment you walk in the front gate to the moment you leave school grounds. You will not be able to enter or leave school without it, so please don't lose it. It's a ten-dollar fee to replace it. Delbrook's campus holds approximately forty-five hundred students, with about a thousand and two hundred students in our graduating class alone. Unfortunately, the reality of those numbers is only about nine hundred of you in the class of 2022 will make it to graduation. We'd love to see you all there, but we know that there are different circumstances that end up preventing some of our students from completing their journey. Anywhere between thirty and forty-five students fill each classroom, with anywhere from six to eight classes on your schedule with two to four classes a day. Depending on how you worked your schedules out with your counselors, you might have free periods before or after lunch that provide you a longer lunch break, or towards the end of the day that permits you to be let out of school earlier than most students. Show the front gate security guard your I.D., which has your free periods imprinted on them, and they will let you out. Our school runs on a blocked schedule where you will attend your Even number classes one day, and the next it will be your Odd number classes. Blue days are Even classes, while Gold days are Odd. Green Days are for all classes. Each class period will run for an hour and a half, with a fifteen-minute break period between your first and second classes before lunch hits, and after lunch will come your third and fourth classes for the day. There will only be a five-minute period between the last two classes for you to get to your designated class, so I suggest you don't dilly-dally. The standard being held for this role play will be High-Casual, which means at least 2 paragraphs of non-dialogue minimum. However, quality over quantity shall prevail. Sometimes you just feel like you can get your point across without writing a detailed paragraph over how Mary Sue brushes her teeth, and that’s totally okay. The maximum time between posts will be 14 days, which can be extended by previous communication with the GMs. If you do not post in IC or OOC by this time, I shall shamelessly spam your DM’s in Discord or Guild PM’s to see what’s up. Until you are heard back from, your character will be excused from any interactions they may be in to free up the other member's character(s) and put on a hiatus. If you are to be absent from the site, unable to post in the period of time mentioned above, or wish to bow out please let us know in whatever via you prefer (OOC or group PM to the GMs). It’s not only polite to do so, but it will be much appreciated. Please check with at least one of the GMs if you plan on making a big event that might change the vibe of the RP or affect the cast in any way. We’ll most likely say yes, but better safe than sorry. This is a character-driven RP. As such, there is not only a need but a requirement for character interactions. So talkkkkkk. Every player and the characters he or she decide to play will have their moments to shine, but interactions help a lot with this. After all, we wouldn't want somebody to be left out, now would we? Please allow at least 2 people to post before making your next one. This includes different characters. If you want to post for a second character, please just use the EDIT button, add it in, and let anyone you might be interacting with know. Collabs are encouraged, but please don't go overboard. We want to have some machine-gun posting too. Drop your favorite show of the month on the Misc. section of the Character Sheet to make sure you’ve read through the rules! <3 Romance is allowed and very much encouraged by the GM and COs, though Guild Rules will apply to the steamier scenes. If you encounter any situations with a particular user, either take it to PMs, DMs or let us GM's know to see if the situation can be resolved amicably. There will be a limit of three characters at the max, though if you see yourself only being able to handle a single character that is absolutely fine by me. I'm not too worried about girl/guy ratios, so just worry about what you want to make (though if you are interested in keeping the ratio somewhat even, I will post the girl/guy ratio in the character tab for you to check out). Our characters, much like us members, are not perfect. I do not want any Eddie Haskell's in the roleplay. I'd like to see some characters with some flaws to them. I will not be accepting Anime FC's. Real-life face claims only who look the part of a high schooler. Character sheets should be posted into the OOC for any of the three GM's to review, and once you've been given the green light you are more than welcome to move them over to the Character Tab and begin posting at will. According to the information handed to me by my idiot brother, you'll be able to find her at a place called Braeside Ranch. But while you will no longer be going to India- you will, however, be taking a nice, long trip to Australia instead. You will be taking Miss Tatiana Hernandez with you in place of Mr. Blacklight."

Though Grey had much love and respect for his cousin Levina, the fact that she wasn't here and they needed to leave as soon as possible was going to force his hand. Surely he could try and go locate her himself, but it would be much easier to just bring someone else along. His first thought in a replacement, having heard it was a daughter of Athena was of course Brynn. The mention of Australia though quickly scratched Brynn off the list and brought another to mind. Ky'vie. Not only would it be beneficial for them to bring someone who knew the country better than he did, but it would be an opportunity for his best friend to visit back home. Knowing that the git Ky had her sights on would be going on the quest with Erin, Ky'd be beside herself with worry. A nice distraction would be in order. What better than a simple retrieval quest in her own country..?

With all these thoughts crossing his mind, he still carefully listened and made sure Mr. D was done speaking before he decided to speak up himself. Clearing his throat, he unfolded his arms and slid his hands into the back pockets of his pants.

"Sir, I couldn't help but notice you only suggested one replacement, though the group going with me needs two. I'd personally like to make a suggestion. Ky'vie Morgan. She and her brother are from Australia. I've been through on tours a few times, but I wouldn't know my way around as much as she would. I think it would be very beneficial for her to tag along with us," Greyson half-bows his head at Mr. D, looking back up at him. "With your approval, of course, sir."

Having come to an agreement, the two girls shook hands and exchanged a few more words before Brynn had decided to excuse herself. Explaining to the two that she needed to go locate a couple of people; one, in particular, sticking out in her mind more than the other. Ky' vie. Of course, she wanted to see Greyson off, knowing him being called meant he'd be off on another quest... but something was itching at Brynn to head up and see her good friend, Ky' vie. Call it a girl's intuition. Saying her quick goodbyes to the pair, the daughter of Athena headed for the elevator but stopped just short as she turned, prepared to walk back to ask Corona what floor Ky was located on. After all, she'd never been into the Bunker before.

It seemed as though Pierre and Corona had wasted no time in getting the conversation going again, Brynn didn't want to intrude and ruin what they had going. Thinking about it for a second it didn't take long for Brynn to deduce the answer herself. Ky' vie's favorite number is 72. Considering there were only 50 levels to the bunker, trying floor 27 wouldn't be a bad choice. What could it hurt..? If she was wrong, oh well. Being wrong on occasion was humbling, no? Stepping into the elevator, she tapped the button for the twenty-seventh floor and watched as the floor levels dropped. Brynn had never been one for elevators, they always made her a bit nervous riding in them as a kid, but this one was one of the smoothest she'd ever been in. Like gliding on air.

Upon arriving on the twenty-seventh floor, Brynn was only slightly surprised the doors opened up. She assumed some of the fifty levels were locked so as not just anyone could walk into them, though Brynn doubted the Heph kids had much to hide from each other. It's not like they had to worry about their stuff getting lifted like the Hermes kids often did. The daughter of Athena pushed further into the level, however still cautious in case this wasn't in fact Ky' vie's floor and she was actually trespassing into one of the other Heph kids' floors. Just as Brynn was about to call out for Ky her eyes found a very familiar ship in front of her. Part of her wanted to ask if it was fully functional, but knowing Ky' vie, it more than likely was. There was no questioning who's bunker this was by the Falcon being in here. Brynn hadn't known a Heph kid who was more into geeky things like Star Wars more than Ky.

The lights in the bunker were all lit up, and knowing Ky and her tendency to turn lights off when she left an area, there was no doubt that she was currently in the bunker. Cupping her hands around her mouth, the daughter of Athena called out to her friend as she pushed further into the bunker floor. "Ky! Where are you at, lovely?"
