Her parents had tried to drill into her mind their own expectations and dreams for her, and she would try for the opposite every time. She could be described as eccentric with her wild opinions and mannerism. It is clear that Zarai cares very little about what other nobles think of her. | _____________________________ - A P P E R A N C E - H A I R. Sometimes it's big poofy dresses, other times flowy gowns and other times she enjoys wearing trousers and a coat. In recent months she has started gaining a bit of weight, especially around her stomach and thighs, but isn't bothered by it. |

_______________________________________________ Lady Zarai was born with a diamond-encrusted spoon in her mouth to Duke and Duchess Lesdeman of Puerto Vira in Varian. As the only daughter and heir to the Lesdeman, she was raised by some of the best tutors and nannies Varian and Caesonia had to offer. Outspoken about her rejection of the roles that women and men must follow and the clear divide of classes between nobles and commoners have labeled Lady Lesdeman as an eccentric and radical young lady. Rumors of her in the company of other ladies and men, along with various commoners and even criminals, have surfaced. No matter how hard her parents have tried, those rumors have punched a blow in the Lesdeman name and more directly towards Zaira herself. Many of the nobles from Puerto Vira and from the surrounding areas have deemed the young lady and heir of the duchy somewhat of an annoyance and target of their ridicule- especially after seeing Zarai dressed in men's wear to a ball held in the capital of Varian. The list of suitors for Zarai has dwindled as many see her uncontrollable and unmarriable. As a last resort to control their daughter, the Duke and Duchess Lesdeman gave Zaira an ultimatum. Either find a husband that will care for her- anyone that could handle her insane ideas and actions or she would be married off to the only suitor that is still willing to have her. Lord Monet is an older gentleman at the ripe age of 54, who strangely always smells of wet dog. Zarai, desperate to not marry an old man, agreed to their condition, vowing to find someone- anyone to marry during the season. H I S T O R Y Did you grow up nurtured or neglected? Nurtured by all the many nannies and my ever present mother. When you were upset, where was your sanctuary? Our gardens, far away from my mother and father's constant nagging. Or out in the city by the docks. What were you like in your teenage years? A rebellious woman. My mother would tell you that I was a little devil. My father would say I was the devil herself. How close are you to your parents? We are as close as the stars in the sky are to us. Do you have any trauma that haunts you? Not particularly. I grew up in a sheltered household. What is your biggest regret? Don't have any, yet! R O M A N C E Have you ever been in love? No, and I don't believe in it. What is most important in a partner to you? That they do not exist. How do you display affection? What is your love language? Physical touch mostly, is there another way? Have you had your first kiss? What was it like? Yes, it was one of my childhood friends- won't say who! Do you believe in love at first sight? Why or why not? No, it only exists in fairytales and books of fiction. What does marriage mean to you? A way to keep stinky old men far away from me. Do you ever consider having children in the future? No, never. Those little bastards hate me as much as I do them. P E R S O N A L I T Y Describe your ideal Sunday morning. Breakfast in need and a pretty lady under my covers. What kind of person do you aspire to be? Not my parents, that is for sure. What bad habits do you have? I often speak without thinking, gets me into quite a lot of trouble. If you could go back in time and change anything in your past, what would it be? There's not much I can change that would make my situation any better. What is your greatest fear? Being marries off to a complete stranger that does not love me. What are your pet peeves? People that stink. When you are in a sour mood, do you like to be alone or with others? Alone and as far away from everyone. Are you more likely to fight with your fists or your tongue? Fists. | _______________________________________________________ |
