Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Haha, another win!

A small one, but Claire would take it.

"Yes!~" That said...she was gonna have to start making the big plays if she was gonna make enough bank to beat Valarie here. She was winning, but even the slightest bit of a slip up could send her to the losing zone. The redhead, briefly looked over the racers, frowning a bit as she made her decision.

"Haha, we'll see about that. My Luck's not going anywhere!" Claire grinned excitedly. "Alright! 500 on Lucky." Biscuit was likely gonna be going for Empress, all things considered. Empress was likely good to win, but if Biscuit was able to interfere, then there was a decent chance she'd get caught up in it...which also meant he would have to go through Lucky, but that was a chance she was willing to take for the win. Ralia, was yes, still playing with Togepi, tossing the pokeball back and forth for a bit while the next race began, splashing a bit of water about and otherwise causing a small bit of mischief.

There was definitely something happening - as the first drop of venom fell through the nebulous magical mass, it dissipated. The second hit, and it began to sizzle and steam. The third hit and there was a visible change. The colors of the 'atoms' began changing. The mana itself was changing, she could feel it, but before she could see its transformation in its entirety, she had to blink, missing what was likely the most crucial step in the whole thing.

And then her MP ran out.

Hissing in mild annoyance, Ash hit the rocky ground with her claw, much like a frustrated human slamming a fist onto a desk. At least her Venom Shot leveled up a bit from this. Always useful for that, but what did this information mean? It was certainly changing, thanks to introducing another composition to the spell. She already assumed it was plausible to influence a magical substance with a non-magical one, but perhaps one could also alter non-magical substances with magical substances...alchemy, as one might say. Changing one metal into another via a magical means.

Hm, well, she'd think about it.

For now, Ash meditated, focusing on refilling her MP to max. Once done, She decided to work on another small project she had been wanting too. Vomiting up the Mana Crystal, Ash used Lesser Force to lift it, carrying it along with the Tree Branch she had gathered earlier. Placing them on the ground, Ash looked over the pile of things they had gathered before...hm, yes, those bones would do nicely, for now. She could make something more durable with a rock later once she had a better grasp of what she was doing. The Intestines or Tongue would be good as well for this.

Taking a large leg bone from the pile of Rubber Frog Bones, Ash began using her claws to carve its sides until it reached a fine point, chipping away at it until it was long and sharp enough to be used as a weapon. Next, she grabbed the branch, whittling out a hole in the middle of it, hopefully enough to give the newly made bone blade a tough fit. Lifting it with Lesser Force, she brought the now rounded edge of the bone blade to the newly made hole before she gently wedged it into place, using her claws for a bit more force if needed. Once that was secured, she grabbed the Frog intestines. Low quality, but it would suffice. Quickly flying her way to the stream, with both it and the new spear in her possession, she quickly washed it out, making sure it was thoroughly clean before tying it tightly around the blade, making sure the edges were covered and more secured against possible damage and falling out.

Quickly flying back to the cave, Ash began the second part. She wasn't sure if this would work, but she had read fantasy novels on occasion for leisure, and she did know vaguely that wizards and mage types often used staves to power their magic so using this Mana Crystal for such an endeavor would be fairly useful if she could use it for such a thing.

Briefly considering her options, Ash settled on using her claws to cut a large 'Y' shaped cut into the opposite end until it was deep enough to let her pull the branches apart, though still come back together enough to be snug. Breathing slowly, she lifted the Mana crystal with Lesser Force, carefully lowering it into the space created when she pulled the wood back. Of course, doing so many things would likely cause the base wood of the new spear to be weaker, but she could likely reinforce it with a little creativity later once the base thing was done.

Once it was lodged in the space provided, Ash grabbed the Frog Tongue. She didn't have anything to preserve it with, so using it to help secure the Mana Crystal as it was in its state would have to do for now. Any left over tongue was tossed back into the pile of materials.

Once her creation was done, Ash lifted it in front of her with Lesser Force studying it with Magic, Material, Mana Sense, and Mana Vision.

"Servant Saber, High School girl Suzuka here to polish her love!~★" Suzuka responded with her usual toothy grin, ignoring the hand Link thrust towards her. Instead, Daitsuuren and Shoutouren vanished as she cozied up next to Link. "Okaaaay!~ We're exploring this place, right?" Suzuka asked casually. She herself was summoned without a master it seemed, with enough magical energy to manifest from...well, wherever. "Jeez, this place looks like a ghost town. Nowhere to do your nails or even get your hair done! No shopping malls or anything, its all run down."

Suzuka began walking, detaching herself from Links side.

Claire watched with rapt attention as the Dodrios sped along the course. As the Queen began talking, her confidence wilted only slightly, quickly being replaced by a determination to simply desire to prove her wrong, and as luck would have it, she got proved entirely wrong.

"YEAH!" Claire gave a little victory fist pump as she laughed happily as Biscuit crossed the finish line. Ralia followed suit, by using two of Claire's pokeballs as pom-poms to do a little victory dance as Togepi was placed into bowl, enjoying his little makeshift water bath. Claire was too focused on the races to really notice the connection, but Ralia was a bit more perceptive. Tilting her head to the side, she cast a glance from Valarie to Togepi. Well then.

Ralia hopped into the large bowl with Togepi, splashing a bit of water as she walked over, hugging the Togepi.

"Ralts!" She introduced herself, holding her pokeball in her hands. Seemed like she wanted to play catch with it or something.

"Gotta be a little reckless to get anywhere." Claire said with a grin. "I got a little over 1000 to start with. I'm feeling super lucky right now. I won a bike on my first lottery ticket!" The two losses afterwards not withstanding. Turning back to the betting tables, Claire held a hand to her chin. Betting on the same Dodrio again would be silly, and with the things Valarie said at the start of the last one in mind, it was easy enough to decide who to bet on. "Lets see...100 on Empress."

Well that was...slightly underwhelming.

It seemed instead of powering it up, all she did was expedite its growth into a rank 2 skill. It already had a single nucleus, and the other parts had stopped expanding, remaining entirely neutral in color. Ash frowned, her tail slowly dragging itself along the ground in thought. Useful to note at least, that she could forcibly power up lower rank skills through a little manipulation...but in the end It left her with very little answers, and more and more questions about how everything worked. Without something else to compare it with, it was of course, going to be difficult.

So she'd need to make something to compare it too. She could try making fire from nothing - but that would be easier if she could gain a better understanding of how these colors affected the property of the spell.

Creating a new spell from nothing and watching it form would give her valuable information as to how elements interacted with such a thing. Bringing her tail as close to her claw as she can, she placed her stinger close to the Mana Orb as she could, letting a few slow drops of Venom be excreted from her stinger, attempting to coat the Mana Orb in poison, still keeping Mana Vision and Mana Sense active long enough to see how the Mana reacted with the venom as she tried to fuse the Mana and Venom together.

The soldiers were more and more odd the more she looked at them. Were...they the dead soldiers they found back where they had woken up at? The mud coming from the faceless soldiers was different, wasn't it? Or at least, it seemed to be so. No one here was showing much care for it however, so Marietta let it go for now. She was preparing to meet this Rider. If what Pandarus said was true, then it was likely a king or conqueror of some sort.

Her assumption seemed to have been proven correct. At the largest tent stood a man with such an imposing presence and visage it would have enraptured any with its greatness. It was easy to see why Pandarus was so taken with him. This Rider was definitely a figure of great military exploits and very likely leadership as well.

"Well, I believe my servants need no introduction." Marietta replied with a small smile to Rider.
"I am Marietta, Sir Rider, I am a humble painter and Magus. I am understanding you may have need of one of those? And I apologize if it seems a little forward to ask, but would you mind sharing what exactly is going on here?"

Seleth watched them leave, something didn't feel right by far, but...there was nothing to be done. The dark Elf sighed, making to turn back into the Cathedral, but she was quickly stopped by a new arrival. Another Dark Elf? Seleth peered at her curiously as she approached. It wasn't all that often she met a new Dark Elf here. Not that she wanted too, in fact if she could meet as few other Dark Elves as possible that would be quite nice.

The fact she was asking about her, didn't make her confident either. She could only think of a handful of reasons why someone would be asking.

"Well if you mistook the Citadel for the Cathedral, I suppose it's to be expected you wouldn't recognize the one who won the Tournament." She replied coldly. "Who might you be?"

Kenmyouren and Shoutouren harmlessly hit air as the swordsman deftly avoided her strike. Light on his feet, was he?

"Ah...?" Shoutouren returned to her side as Link attempted to flirt. Well, Suzuka knew two things. She was a totally cute school girl, and a totally strong school girl. So to see someone infatuated with here was not that strange, obviously. In fact, she might have even been flattered, if it weren't for one glaring flaw in his flirting. "Aahaha, what's with that totally lame pickup line?" Suzuka began laughing, pointing a finger towards Link. All the previous tension from fighting, if there had been any, was completely gone as the fox broke out into derisive laughter. "Did you just spend all day practicing on yourself? That's like so totally lame I can't even...!"

But...he didn't know what was going on either. His answer didn't help answer anything at all. Door? His world? Tsk, too troublesome to consider anything.

"Mhm," Soon, her laughter died down, smile fading as she glanced towards the ground. Link might consider interrupting, but by the time he would she'd quickly have her usual toothy grin plastered over her face. "Okayyy! I've decided! This high school girl will travel with ya, cuz you look like ya could use it!"

This was...!

Progress!

As she willed the square to center itself as the nucleus, Ash could feel a certain weight to be added to the orb. Activating Mana Sense, as well as Magic Analysis, she studied the resulting 'Dense Mana Orb'. The more information she could have, the better. Now, she didn't get any sort of notification that it was a new skill, or even an upgrade from the Mana Orb. Perhaps this was a thing she'd have to tweak each time she made the 'Dense Mana Orb'? Only one way to find out.

Ash Lobbed the Mana Orb at the far wall, wishing she was able to take that Frog as a test subject. It'd help with determining damage thresholds and status effects, having a live creature she was able to constantly test on. She'd need to find one. Next, she'd attempt the same process of turning a Mana orb into a 'Dense Mana Orb', faster this time with as little thinking behind it at possible. If she could commit things to Procedural memory, she could cut down on 'casting time', as it were.

She would continue this experiment until a new skill ticked over, or she ran out of MP. In either case, she would then Meditate to refill her Mana before she started on her next task.

Trying to turn a Mana Orb into a 'Fire Orb'.
