I would say at this point Jørmund is throughly drunk.
Then I would say that, until the end of this chapter, Jørmund is immune to the frightened condition, has disadvantage on saves to avoid or end the charmed condition, and has access to the barbarian's reckless attack feature.

Now that he was in its grasp, Brutrumukk knew defense would be a waste of effort, so he devoted all his energy to attacking. Brutrumukk swung for the snake and once again struck true, this latest blow landing harder than the previous strike.
I'm guessing you did a Reckless Attack to get the hit in?
Yep, incoming attacks would have had advantage either way with with Brutrumukk being restrained, so I figured why not?
Alrighty then, I'll wait for @Dark Cloud to make his opportunity attack and then I'll get a post up.

In that case, Brutrumukk only take five damage due to rage giving him resistance to bludgeoning damage.
Would escaping from the constriction require an action or could that be done with a bonus action?
